yeah none of the maps were : southsun or any city, i know these do not grant keys, ive explored bitterfrost 3 times, and majority of ascalon with 6 different characters so far, all of them have granted me with a transmutation charge… sucks. i guess im just unlucky
hey, over the past 3 weeks ive map completed 16 different maps, on different characters, but every single map has given me a transmutation charge =[, i know there are people out there that say “rng is rng” but with the supposed 20% key drop rate…surely i would have got one at least? :/
small list again from me:
laurel vendor, remove recipes for rune of the (elite specialization) they’re redundant now as they’re automatically learned once the spec has been learned, we dont need them there anymore, also add the following ascended items in : Mordrem Loop, Sun Moon and Stars, Janthir’s Gaze, Abbadon’s Cowl. mainly for me its the mordrem loop as ive already done the acheivement, ive got the item, but i also have more than one character and i dont raid so much, this would be a big QoL improvement from me =]
if it moves to a solo/duo only queue, will guild missions change to reflect that?
general QoL suggestion, when viewing the wardrobe i would like filters, such as “miniatures set 1,2,3 , special events, gem store only” or weapon skins “Gemstore, Core, HoT” as a collector it bugs me to see locked skins and not easily knowing if they can be found in game or i have to buy with gems…
Halloween coming up some of my Suggestions for you:
*Ability to upgrade home instance candy corn node to rich candy corn node
*Guild hall decorations consisting of parts from the clock tower
*Ogdens hammer guy’s Ghost in LA…for those of us who miss him so (maybe another npc next to him telling him to shut up)

personally i dont know why everyone is so outraged, to know they are working on something for april, and the fact they are being more open and honest about what they are doing currently isnt such a bad thing, few hours ago everyone was quite contempt in knowing one day there will be legendary weapons in the future, nobody gave a date of when. Im still happy with the game i play and the virtual world i live in, one day i will look forward to more Blogs about future updates and the updates themselves. i have no issues with this post because i still have 15 more legendaries to collect and catch up to, i also have the two backpacks and many many more collections to complete, im not gonna grind it out instead im gonna sit back, relax, have some apple cider and play the game the way it was created to be played. =]
do you mean zephyrite chest as in the Dry top chest? if so i +1 that idea… need more ambrite stuff ^^
As someone with a current full home instance (gem store and not) its lovely to see so many nodes in one place i can gather daily (and trust me i do, especially with the treasure chest) but i cant help but feel its missing something, is it possible you can release the following nodes? :
Hard wood tree node
Iron ore Node
Advanced cloth rack (linen silk/gossamer)
basic/advanced leather node (more the basic ;P)
Node to gather Azurite orbs/crystals.
any others ive forgotten please let me know.
bought today with my karmic converter, says it contains scrolls and tomes of knowledge, i got 1 tome of knowledge…
i know there is no longer scrolls in the game but the description should be changed or at least give more tomes (or any other items too)

i understand about the 1 hour boosters yeah, but i used to enjoy the gw1 bonuses over weekends, i found it more entertaining to do stuff, hell it even encouraged newer players to go to different areas back then. I just thought it would be a good suggestion to think about
I miss in guild wars 1 that every weekend had a cycle of special events such as ‘Double XP boost’ and ‘Luck bonuses’ .
I feel Gw2 needs to include something along these lines such as:
‘Double Slayer points’
‘20% Magic find bonus (or gold find, karma, xp)’
‘Additional chance to find ascended chests in world events’
‘double fractal relics’
‘20% Wxp and rank points’
something along these lines to encourage more than living story farming or champion farming in a zone, and can help bring more teams out and have more fun

Also Anet you have become awesome at cutscenes, maybe make more for the current dungeons maybe :P these cutscenes show more depth than two characters on a screen

can someone tell me….. what happened to captain Mai? is she still in the edge of the mists or did i miss something
will we be getting a plan of what to expect for this half of the year? if ive missed it please say but it would be nice to know whats coming in the months ahead, im not just talking about living story, i mean like last year we had weapon and armor crafting for ascended, we had new fractal and new wvw and pvp maps.
with the removal of glory as a currency, would there be a way for people to transmute thier glory boosters to another form of booster? personally id like to move them into WvWvW boosters as i spend much more time in there than is do in sPvP.
is this a bug? im also interested in making a box of celestial armor and have about 60 charged quartz
maybe, but i think this story arc could bring players together because it has something connecting back to gw1

Magister Tassi has appeared, his instruments are picking up signals from the underworld and have lead him to godslost swamp, candy corn elementals have appeared early and are starting to invade through portals, the priory and vigil have gathered to contain the threats that have appeared while Tassi conducts research, convinced that the thorn family have stirred and have secret plans.
Part 2:
one time event!
Power has amased in the center of the swamp, Portals are appearing more frequently and the behemoth has been absent for a while, but this time he appears and is stronger than ever, Tassi has created an asura gate to open portals to the underworld for a short time within the old structure of the aetherblades west of lions arch, and has been placed under heavy guard, this gate has been tuned to the same frequency as the behemoth’s large portal, but something goes wrong and the behemoth appears where the forces of tyria must amass to conquer the beast.
October 2014:
Part 1:
with the beast now slain lions arch prepares for the upcoming halloween season, Tassi can be found repairing his gate, when unexpectedly skelentons appear, and forces of chaos, teams are sent through the gate for recon and on the other side one of grenth reapers awaits, explaining how long its been since its seen a soul from the living world. the team must explore when now lies of the underworld.
Part 2:
Theres a disturbance within the ruins of the underworld, mad king thorn can be seen wandering but this is not the only threat the lies here, theres tales of an ancient evil hidden and waiting, chaos is becoming unmanageable for the king and he requires help from citizens of tyria as the final Seal on Dhuums chains is about to break.
Part 3: (and final)
Dungeon instance.
Dhuums seal is broken and he has arisen, The reapers have once again gathered but this time they have no intention to imprison him again, Tassi and the mad king have formulated a plan to defeat this evil once and for all, and need the teamwork and courage of tyria to Successfully complete this task.

what i hated about the change to clock tower was i couldnt use my passive speed boost. i hate doing JP’s without some form of speed boost it makes me miss-time my jumps alot
over the past few nights ive been waiting to do tequatl on deso server, id wait about an hour and half (because the map quickly fills up) and within 10 minutes of spawning id get a crash report come up then i wouldnt be allowed to leave overflow, even when the popup comes to leave the queue i get network error 61 (or similar) and its frustrating after waiting so long that i cannot re-enter and i have team mates in my party. :/
i was quite happy with the update to fractals, i do them almost every day, the only thing i was a little dissapointed with the update was the vendors didnt recieve anything new :/ i got so many pristine fractal relics in my bank and i was a little unhappy that there was no new oportunitys for stuff i could buy with them.
heres my opinion:
- living world goes too fast with little story, i remember in gw1 interacting on everything gave you 1 or 2 paragraphs of lore on everything, we dont have that anymore,.
- gw1 finished with primordius waking up over 250 years ago, but we decided to go straight for zhaitan instead, if i was to write storyline id say that an experimental asura portal that was built (like the ones being build for a year in LA) was turned on, but where it was to the ruins on the central transfer chamber, and there would be this attack on lions arch where the players could vote to fight thier way in and establish a base or we could destroy the gate but see more occurrences of destroyers resurfacing.
tl:dr more dragons! - rewards from LS need to be more rewarding, ive got 8 bank tabs and i have 1 just filled with LS stuff that im not sure if i need or i dont want to lose incase i want for another character, id be happy with more luck essences like 1k luck for 10 achievements, plus skins reward boxes whatever.
- more maps, i loved the cliffs we had for the zephyrs but i was dissapointed that the whole map was gone when the ship left, it could have been developed into an explorable with a world event such as a krait overlord attacking the town and we have 20 minutes to thin the ranks with 3 or 4 legendary foes, to destroy and this overlord causes a tidal wave (similar to tequatl) upon failure. i dont know. but overall we got the janthir isles, underground, ring of fire chain, the desert and the north still open to be explored, its a great excuse to have more tie-ins to guild wars 1 lore.
- no more tokens or at least have a place to store, like i said before i have 8 banks tabs, in order this is what its full of : wvwvw stuff , living story stuff, wintersday stuff left over from last year, and about 8 stacks of bloodstone dust, 2 tabs full of black lion harvesting stuff and boosters (so many boosters), more back skins and SAB stuff, and the last two are filled with materials and legendary crafting materials and gifts. thats alot of random stuff but most of it is skins, but before the wallet i had zero space in my bank. i cant afford any more methods of stuff i have to collect. (also bring back azurite, it came in for a month then dissapeared as a gathering material)
- pre-cursors, ive collected everything for my bifrost except the legend, because unlike everyone else ive ever known, ive never recieved a pre-cursor of any form, and its killing me slowly that i must rely on rng to get it. ill leave it at that.
i get excited every two weeks to read the patch notes and to see the next upcoming update ill admit, but i see every time these days the release preview goes out there is less and less to be released, i fear that pushing yourself to release something every two weeks has an impact on the quality of the release, id be happy to have a release every month like before, but every week post a blog or update on the website of what your working on currently to see if the player base can give constructive feedback on how to make things more epic, hold a poll more often, it may have more of a devastating impact (in a good way ) on the game itself.
you know what i miss seeing from gw1? the hydra.
with all the living story updates my bank is starting to get full with all the free stuff that the living story meta-achievements have produced, such as wings, investigation kits, mini sanctum models etc etc. my suggestion is to have a drop down menu in the hero ui so that the skins can be a permanant unlock (such as the achievement skins) so i dont have to have a copy cluttering precious space, and whenever i choose to apply a skin i can get a copy from the hero window.

i wish there was a world event within the cliffs where you could actually see whos got more support, that would say something along the lines of:

well as he was the expert in orr im seriously hoping he doesnt show to fight the other dragons -.- so maybe the council is a good place for him where he can just open an asura gate into the heart of orr from LA. and he can reduce the undead numbers by 15% for 4 weeks
Well I make frostfang to look cool, howler to go with frostfang as it matches perfectly, the moot because of the lackluster options in maces for this game, kamoholi because of shark week.
Next I am making another frostfang, and this one is purely to show off dual frosties, I am losing touch i suppose.
how can you make so many? i am struggling to make even my first legendary
imagine the lag and skill lag if there we’re 2 zergs or 3 zergs fighting a massive world event all in one place, servers would over load, people would qq and rage quit and it would just be too difficult, only reason zergs win in capturing SM and keeps is because they can play through the lag while the defence gets stuck and killed on the spot. imho
ive posted this suggestion a few times in a few threads, even before the ui update. =[ still would like to see it implemented
i like this idea, but i think hard move has still gotta be do-able solo, maybe make the npcs more durable and actually do more than 0.1% damage instead of me having to kill everything infront of trahearne and he take all the credit..
