Also look at the engineer stats xD 60 losses 40 wins and when theres 2 engies the win/loss ratio is the worst of them all only winning half as many games as losing xD

This map is entirely broken through stealth!
stealth pull and other stealth CC are impossible to see (just as team stealth to pop people is OP) and rewarded with instant death of the opponent.
This really is the pit of risk reward.
I really dont understand why they made the holes all instant death traps – would be fine if you would jnust drop to somewhere else and have to walk back.
And cannon room….
I dont know i feel like the designer knew this was a bad idea in general but was told to do it anyway so he just went completely kittening overboard with instant death traps on cannon out of defiance. (ill show you whos right whatever).
Like literally there are no walls – you can fall to your death at any time.. hmmm better place 4 MORE breakable floors xDDD

Lol engis can beat just about anything reliably except condi warriors and necros.
I wouldnt say beat everything reliably – in high end it really depends on the individual player – thieves like sizer and shad are insane and can be a real pain in the kitten even with bombs in my experience.
But yea nec and war are the real issue. War definitely beatable but 8 second immune makes it impossoible to focus them. So basically if your enemy team has 2 war and 1 nec thats 3 chars you cant focus.
War 1v1 is possible but takes forever so his team usually comes in and its hard to stay on node vs berserker stance.
Condition necros with 3 reflects are impossible imo. Even with less. Unless the necro isnt condi or is severely outmatched a condi nec should never lose to a condi engi.

Sounds its working as intented to prevent facerolling.
I dont see how being able to ignore everything i do and leaving me with dodge roll only is not taking my keyboard away.
Also if ANYONE is facerolling that would be warriors.

If you are condi, make sure that you blind them after unloading a bunch of condis. If you don’t want those conditions coming back for you, blind them!
Im not sure to how many of necros condi reflects that applies to but i remember putrid mark being mentioned in the patch notes a few months ago being changed so that it will now condi flip the blind instead of missing.
Not sure if that works for the other flips as well need to check.

ANET sure didnt lie about having to carry harder after patch when literally everyone who starts playing tournaments can get matched with top100. Its abyssmal.

the issue simply is that every goon can get carried 1 game and then ruin top level play (in fact i could have even done that in my first game played wtf)

had all very high ranked guys in my FIRST game i play after reset
if thats what it takes to get top 15 its no wonder matches feel completely imbalanced only depending on who gets the better noobs after patch.

You can always build your engi to remove conditions on elixiers and you will have loads of conditions removals on an engi instantly.
No you cant. You clearly didnt read what i wrote – people will reapply conditions faster than our single / duo cleanses can remove them. by just spamming certain autoattakcs/skills.
Being able to cleanse all condis from signet of spite one by one doesnt matter if it takes you so long that the low priority condis have killed you by the time you get to them
Also getting multiple elixirs as utilites is pretty bad unless you go for a full HGH build which pidgeonholes the use of the trait.
Only decent one is elixir C but with no weapon swap on engi and a very bad tool belt skill on elixir C it is simply not viable enough xcept to hard counter setups.

Small number condi cleanses are inefficient overall because it leaves time for the opponent to apply new conditions – especially with many of them (elixir throws for example)having animations/cast times that take as long as an attack animation you gain nothing in the end. Also against a big number of covering conditions small number condi cleanses become worthless.
Healing Turret is somewhat decent at cleansing.
elixir gun only offers a single cleanse on 20s(16s) cooldown (projectile finisher is very hard to pull off against decent people because you pretty much have to hit them and almost stand in them to get it to work)
med kit doesnt get you out of immobilize and is only a single condition cleansed
Elixir C being the only decent option but requires a precious utility slot and the throw elixir C skill isnt really useful.
no decent access to lyssa runes (xcept you want to troll with lyssa + elixir ulti + reduced cd)
cleansing formula is borderline useful – requires a traitslot in a strong traitline + cleanses again only 1 condi per elixir + kind of forces elixirs + maybe more elixir traits so you end up with a very specialized build(i.e. HgH) with not much room to swap traits/skills.

Please also fix teaming up people with large difference in ladderranking.
I once asked a teammate what ladderposition he was at after winning a particularly low ranked(overall) match and he told me he checked it up and he was sitting around 62% (to my top100) at that point in time.
He might have lied but had no reason to do so, so i believe him.
Games really just should not start under these circumstances.
So there’s quite a few toolbelt skills

Dodging counters it completely btw, same with GS pull.
This means you have two opportunities to dodge them, you’re doing it wrong.Please reliably dodge the engy shield pushback.
thats one of the easier ones to dodge and one of the less effective pushback skills in the game gg
both solid choices – comes down to personal preference
stunbreaks dont work while youre in the air – its annoying but affects a lot of classes.. like banish from guard hammer
Worst teammate ever? This bot during tPvP.
Spammed about a gay dating site the whole match. He spammed team and map chat, and then whisper spammed me.
We still won though, so I wasn’t too mad…. until I got him again on my team in the next match..

Share your story of the worst team you ever got.
Aside from the usual 3 people go boss on niflhel while the lone guard lets himself get slaughtered in mid i had a horrible game yesterday.
It was ToTs and we were still leading after getting an early 3 cap my team manages to lose bottom buff even with 3 people there and alive (no idea how they managed that! amazing feat to let someone cap a buff for 10 seconds!
Throughout the whole game my team has been CONTINOUSLY pinging the bloody kill point buffs without getting anything done (i.e. kills) – not sure if they wanted to say : Hey lets lose this kitten and get kills! killbuffs give glory right???
Anyway the game was 460 to 430 in our favor and we have 2 nodes – close and far – and top buff is up. 3 of my glorious teammates zerg in mid on the only capped node OFC not being able to decap mid pretty much all game they still think its a great idea. Im on close having just scared away a thief who runs off to top buff leaving me to full cap. Our last teammate went far only a few seconds prior to that and got an easy full cap on far without def.
All the time one of my idiotic mates pings top buff like a maniac – i do the only reasonable thing to do and type in all caps DEFEND FAR AND WIN. My entirely braindead teammate manages to leave far without a fight (full hp). Get down the stairs – at that point the thief gets the cap on top buff – my teammate runs the kitten off to mid to join the glorious never win anything zerg – lets the thief cap far almost instantly because he took back route giving them a good amount of time with both top buff and mid and far node securing victory.
This guy single handedly threw away the game. Very sad story.
Sometimes i really wonder how much basic cognitive function you can lack and still breathe.
edit: ohh and i forgot one of these pros actually managed to get to bottom buff at 9:30 and then wait for it to pop.. glorious game really

@ guys above me – the thing is other than throwing hard CC on the necro theres not much you can do – if you try to CC chain the warr hes just going to use stance /whichever condi immune or stability) – locking down warris is even harder due to their cleanses atm – and focusing thief is a bad choice to begin with
@ the smart guy saying yolo stunbreak – well nec thief war comp literally has unlimited extremely long duration hard CC/immob so 1 stunbreak doesnt get me anywhere

long distance instant escapes seems like the most reasonable solutions (what gallrvaghn said basically)but still…. >_>
By speccing into Alchemy (+30% boon duration), and getting 2x Rune of Hoelbrak (20% might duration), 2x Rune of Strength (20% might duration), and 2x Rune of Fire (20% might duration)
^This! Also aoe might explo finishers are at a whopping 36 second duration if you do that so might wanna throw in some of those
I would actually go for the runes of the noble instead of this combination if you want to go for might specifically. The 6-piece set does only have 40% might duration instead of 60%, but you get might stacks on heal (free stacks if using medkit) plus a bunch of condition damage.
Of course, if you’re not using any real condition damage then it may not be worth it.
In general though, I like getting all boon duration instead of just might duration.
yayaya right – the above is the way for pvp but ye in pve theres the might on heal skill rune which helps – i dont know the noble rune though?! – i used to run 2altruism + 2hoelbrak + 2fire
edit:just looked it up pretty imba – altruism is aoe though so thats nice as well

It would be more deserved i guess if mmr would have settled down and win/loss would be more dependend on plays than lucky matchmaking.
But i dont think its nigh impossible..
Lots of premade groups have greatly benefited from playing against teams of solo queued players at an extreme disadvantage and have ballooned up the rankings.

The game needs seasons like half a year or something so people who rose to the top once wont be able to sit on their MMR for playing only a few games each month.
In fact i would have prefered that solution and no leaderboard decay in the first place.

balance is best right now ever since game was released – every further balancing step should be VERY well thought out (edit: xcept ranger – spirits are kittened to play/not fun and aoe prot is op – also the spirit ranger elite is VERYYYYYY strong)
personally i dont feel thieves are OP in terms of fighting. I just think that their INSANE mobility is over the top for backcaps (or vertical mnobility where needed)

Mhhh well when qing with a friend you always have a 20% chance that he will get on the enemy team.
The more players you try to bring along the higher the chance some of you wont make it into the same team.
As i see things duo qing in team Q tourneys might become less popular/frequented/ a lot harder now because of soloq.
Having the chance to bring 1 buddy along is okay imo when everyone can do it.. also if you play against your friend it will be fun too. It is definitely a lot easier to get 1 friend, play some tourneys and have fun than to try to coordinate a full team.
I think right now because of the number of people starting to play you just get matched with a lotta noobs.
Wait with playing until soloq matchmaking has settled -then carry your team until you get to good opponents
If you dont like SoloQ you can always get a team and queue as team!

moa or 3K autohit power necro ulti form + ranger ultis are all beyond ridicolous
turrets can easily be destroyed isntantly – in fact i can run a full condition build with no power whatsoever and still kill all turrets dropped in 3 casts max – in the end its a stun + 6K heal on a 180 sek cd
^I´d much rather just have the lyssa 6/6 runes effect every 45 sek tbh.
How about asking for a portal nerf?? Portal is a utility skill which is GAME DEFININGLY GOOD (Portal 5 man lord rush on foefire – porting Golems in WvW – skipping “jump n run” passages in PvE and offering shortcuts) in all game modes…
