It was just tragic, nearly every wipe Dub was the last man standing by a long shot.

It was a tragedy, and I am upset with the terribleness of my guildie for having 20k health on his guard.

But Lind saved the day foreman spur, gave me breathing room to bandage my way up so I could res dub and my terrible guildie.

Im just saying one shouldnt actualy get angry at someone just because he dont run the build you want him to run unless the party was described as such. I respect that guardian for having the guts to try a bunker guard build in dungeons but i dont know the context around it. In the eye of the believer all that mather in a pug is that the guy actualy stay alive and try his best but if its a party with a description like ‘’run x use y’’ your supose to be meeting the prerequisite before joining.

I see tons of staff support guardian everyday and the same goes for turret enginer or other underated build around and i aint making a fuss about it all i care about is the end results.

Nobody got angry at all, I didn’t even care he was running a bunker… O_O

That’s because I went full noob setup. It’s pretty depressing that I did so bad, although it was yet pretty okay assuming the 0.5s delay and the hunger I was suffering from. Next time, I’ll do better, I promise! At least if our next meeting is on EU servers, at good times, in non-LS dungeons. I feel absolutely no interest in practising or even spending thought on those, so I most likely won’t be able to properly pull my weight in TA aether.

Free EU leeches for all of you, at least for a week. Lilith already got a lifetime leeching ticket by resurrecting me so often ._.

I should make an EU account… but I just blew 30 USD on gems for my ranger… lel

EU doing any better then NA? I heard rumors but thats prety much it and when i look at the lfg i dont see much of the elitism the forum seems to say is omnipresent.

well if 15 = 1
then 30 = 2
so 300 (the regular stat from maxed trait) = 20

means we technicaly lost 10% critical damage already just from traiting now to look at what the gear will provide but i think all critical damage build will take a huge hit.

Yeah, for sure. The only thing Force has over bloodlust is the fact that going down will destroy your bonus (but then again, if you have it on all the time, you’ll get it back rather quickly if the dungeon is full of easy trash mobs).

Yes! Best patch forever. We will lose 20-25% damage output on full offensive builds, but gain about 25% more healing. It’s all about DPS UPTIME guys, we can now go with full offensive builds and do not even have to dodge ONCE anymore. Totally passive play, just like clerics, but we will deal more damage than before!

Obviously it’s more skillful, and doesn’t trivialize the content at all like berserkers. And it’ll reduce the toxic attitude of the community when it comes to dungeons. Now they just need to make it so dodging something only mitigates 50% of the damage.

I am constantly amazed and impressed how calm and reasonable DigitalKirin can stay at times that simply have to feel like talking to a wall (and more often than not a wall that displays insulting graffiti).

Dem guardian traits.

So I soloed Arah p2 on my mesmer and then the new build came up. Two people joined with the old build but they were low DPS which meant we couldn’t kill Brie. I had to refund them :/

Yesterday, I had my faith in newcomers rekindled.

AC expl. with friends, we had one spot left and find this Guardian in base colours and chainmail asking for a spot in /s. We go “Welp, spot open” and invite him to our team. Turns out he’s lvl 28 with 305 AP, and had never done a single dungeon before. He was new.

You’d think this scenario would spell disaster? Nope, not at all. Of course we carried him, but you can basically duo or solo AC nowadays so it’s not like it was an inconvenience, but anyhow…

He listened to everything we said. We told him of stacking, he stacked. Told him of skips, he skipped with us (Like a pro, I might add. Well, all things considered, he got through the Gravelings after Spider Queen and the Spider room after the first burrows on p3 on the first try. Still better than a lot of PuGs.) After the dungeon runs, we sent him on his way with some build advice and a crash course in “How to use Utilities”. Seeing him marvel at the whole 3g he had earned made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

My only concern is that the next time he PuGs AC, it probably won’t be with an Ele, a Warr and a Guard blazing through everything without a care in the world. We might’ve spoiled him.

PS: When was anyone going to tell me that you don’t need Ice bows at the burrows in p3? Went much faster by just stacking Might in firefields and blasting it. (Finally got to use my Hammer on my guard, wooh).

When a fractal run was smooth and extremely pleasant, it is only reasonable to be genuinely happy for others’ hefty rewards.

For a 49 pug the chemistry was remarkably high. A Mai Trin where everyone stacked on her from beginning to end with almost no interruption? a grawl with elemental phases burned so fast reflects are still up by the time it’s done? 10/10 would pug again.
