A dark skinned asura with an afro named “busta caps” made me rofl.

Saw a pet named Gang (guildname was Bang). And a pet pig named Tom Cruise.

A thief named Bren the Thief, a warrior alt named Warrior Bren, a ranger alt named Ranger Bren, an ele alt named Bren the Ele, a mesmer alt named Bren the Mesmer.

Oh yeah. A norn thief named “where do i hide” would be awesome.

This is nothing. I named my Krytan Drakehound Scooby Doo and Wolf Wolverine.

Here’s one for a ranger, for anyone with a free char slot. Boah Narrow. Had a friend with a pet boa snake with that name. Had another boa called Feather (feather boa). They always cracked me up.

I was in Fireheart Rise earlier starting the jumping puzzle, when I heard a scream and a Sylvari landed at my feet, dead.
Their name was “Ready Aim Fail”.

I saw a sylvari named " Chicken Caesar " once. Made me laugh out loud.

I once PvP’d against an Asura Mesmer named Illusionary Mage.

Saw an Asura named Spread Legs Not War and just laughed out loud at it.

Seen a Charr On Stone one day and found it pretty good. ^^

I was going to call my asura Willow Ufgood or Warwick davis…but they were doth taken.

Some names I came up with:

Black Moa pet name: Juvenile Delinquent
Snow Owl pet name: Hedwig (Not really funny, but I thought it was neat and fitting.)
Human Elementalist: Funky Maccanchese (Was disco inspired, blond afro, favorite colour: orange and yellow.)

As for funny names I’ve come across:

There was only one I can think of off the top of my head and it was a Charr roleplayer by the name of “Yolo Swagpaw.”

I have an Asura named “Professor Knowitall”, and my Guildie has one named “Mighty Mouth”. Those seemed appropriate for Asura.

I dunno if it’s available or not, but I thought a male Sylvari should be named “Pete Moss”.

My Ranger’s dog is named “Air Biscuit”.

There was an asura named “Fantasy Trope” and, being a TV Tropes addict, I chuckled

Omg i saw an asura with a white afro named “Q Tip” (another word for cotton swab) I nearly died laughing

There is a charr on SOR named “Swag swag swag swag”

I played GW1 for years, and I have played GW2 since day 1 of live…however…
In GW1 I have a character from several years ago named Myst Opportunity and, despite being told that our character names were reserved, and the huge hassle that came with that, from day 1 I tried to make Myst Opportunity here in GW2 and it said the name was already taken. So, yeah, so much for reserved.
This may have also been due to support having no clue how to help me with linking my accounts so they weren’t actually linked for several days after day 1 of live. But as of day 1 of live my supposedly “reserved” name was already taken by someone else.

So, thanks for that, really set the tone :\

Whoever got my Myst Opportunity, hope you like it.

Otherwise, all my character names are not funny at all or a play on words other than my thief named Die Version Tactics. I prefer to be creative with my names and create a unique name to give them a bit of personality and history.

I have a Sylvari Thief named “Chive Owen”…

Did some cof runs with Ronald McNonald…. Was a mesmer who looks exactly like ronald mcdonald. On top of that he was mailing happy meals to us.

Also fyi I didnt get my Toy with that!

I made a Sylvari called Hice Ensalada…..It’s not-quite-correct Spanish for “I made a salad..”
