That would make the March 26th content update quite likely.

Although if it becomes a gemstore purchase, a game update is not even needed.

It’s an even better idea not to release a gender change kit at all. This would force players to learn how to deal with their choices or re-roll.

Yeah, I’m with this guy! I would love for us to be punished for an aesthetic choice! Punish me, please! I want consequences for non-important choices!

Please oh please, we all want a name change option in the gem store!

It’s been 8 months since launch, and while last months new hair colors were nice, what we really want is the option to change our character names.

Enough people have asked, I really hope it is at least being developed and not still ‘a good idea that maybe anet will do in the future’. It’s free money for you anet, please oh please put it in asap :D

Should be quite evident to Anet due to sheer amount of threads/posts about it (and lo and behold I think I’ve commented in most of them too… sigh)

Btw, Anet – you can merge all these forum threads if you wish they’re all about that one feature “coming soon” “in the future” “when it’s ready”.

As you can see, Gaile stated that soon you will have the name change feature. In the interest of keeping the forums organized we are going to close this thread, as it is also beiung discussed in the suggestions subforum.
