Ok so… why are you trebbing a camp SF. Doesn’t really make much sense to me.

Crazy fights in AR borderlands tonight, was a bit confusing when AR nearly left the zone alone, and then returned to try to bombard Hills. That was what my guild was going to do then we ran into you guys at your siege point…and got smashed :P

SF was really gunning for us in the south for the first two hours, those fights at the ruins were amazing, glad to see you guys want to bloody our noses early and often.

If you two servers fight this ferociously all week long my guild will be in hog-heaven! I look forward to more exciting battles!

If the fights keep up at this pace, i would love for this to be the next match up for the next few weeks. I really don’t want BP to be the top dog.

The fights in AR were wild.

At one point some players from BP couldn’t handle the pressure of SF and AR hitting us in that lake, so they vanished! only to reappear when the remaining 2 commanders have already streamlined the zone.

Very fun fight!! As an AR player, I am impressed at the battles tonight. I’ve seen some amazing players from both sides. Whoever that BP player is with the necro on the POOP guild is amazingly strong. Almost single handedly prevented our push, but we managed to take him down! Muahaha!

So, that BP push on overlook tonight with the golems was hawt. You guys did an awesome push and awesome try, but in the end siege won. Let’s keep these kinds of battles up. Also a shout out to Krew from BP…saw you guys on ARBL taking Bay and ripping me a new one eventually.

We’ll get to hear how they don’t have that many players, even though like right now, 3:24 am central, they take their Hills back with at least 50 players, we have the outmanned buff, while they’re also in Anvil Rock Borderlands, and we have the outmanned buff. We portal to Eternal Battlegrounds to see if we can muster something there, without fighting with the outmanned buff, and we’re still outmanned.

All the while, over night SF seems to only have like 10 players on.

Oh well, we’ll give it all we got while suffering the insults of previous weeks.

im so glad AR came up this week some AWESOME fights in BPBL last night at around 02:00 gmt (not sure on the pacific time) so glad to see that SOS tag again you guys fight hard, I’d like to give a big shout out to SF as they had at least 30+ in our BL last night constantly fighting us (BURN) in the south seems like you guys have woken up again =) this week will be full of great fights keep it up guys

I would like to also thank the Sorrows and Anvil invaders on BP borderlands last night, you guys gave us some great fights and made another memorable evening.

I look forward to the weeks fights and the forum posts from Jktcm (seriously you always bring a smile to my face while i’m on my dinner break at work)

Great work by SF to retake there portions of there home land from us its been an awesome fight with you guys so far keep it up!!

and really sorry to the poor AR guy who tried to run into a tower he thought was an AR tower… it wasnt it was ours and as a result got turned to mush by the 8 guys running around outside…. as funny as it was i felt for you …

Well EB was fun last night, can’t say too much about this morning as we had 15 people in overlook before BP cleaned EB. GJ to you all..

Would be fun but, right now it seems BP has way to many players. As much as I personally enjoy fighting BP I gotta say if your population remains or grows you need to move up, the other two servers just don’t have the man power to be in 4 diff maps at a time.

It seems BP managed to collect even more players since the AR/GoM/BP matches.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining, just stating the obvious.

They really need to start merging servers.

When it was AR, GoM, and ET we outnumbered both GoM, and ET by such a large number of players, it wasn’t fun for everyone involved. I actually didn’t play but three days that week because it was boring. In the last five weeks facing Borlis Pass, they’ve gained so many numbers they even outnumber Anvil Rock by a very large margin. While it is sometimes fun to face overwhelming odds, it begins to wear on you, and becomes equally unfun.

If they’re not going to merge servers, they need to combine the three borderlands, into one large map like Eternal Battlegrounds, so that we have two maps, instead of four. And for the love of God, get rid of free transfers, it is ruining the game because of the fair weather players.

Four maps allows for population issues to spiral further out of control, especially on servers that has a large PvE, and sPvP presence like Anvil Rock has.

We won last week by a landslide, and I felt the same way. My posts reflected the same feelings too. Winning, or losing with superior numbers is not fun, and any mature individual would understand.

Ugh…I really dislike when the term server merger starts coming up in MMO’s. Every MMO that has done server mergers has messed up the population in general more than had they just left it alone. When you force a merge on someone you force them to a new server that they may not have wanted to be on and therefore you start losing people again that transfer off to the “new” servers. They bumped the transfers to 7 days….it has helped more than enough. Free transfers won’t always be there, but while they are people are able to visit their home servers or experiment in finding a new one.

BP has had transfers, we all know this to be true, even when the message has been diluted. But AR has also had some transfers this past week to get ready for this matchup. Maybe not in the numbers that AR would like to see, but it did happen. Fair weather players are more often found on your own home server than someone jumping from one server to the next to find the IWIN button. AR was filled with a host of new names last matchup because we were put into a match were facerolling the opponent was easy peasy. Now that we’re getting creamed by a larger force again, those fair weather players have gone back to their PvE content where they’ll stay until AR is on the “win” again. If anything we should promote that the fair weather players leave the server, this way AR can focus on a WvW population that actually wants to be there…not one that only comes when they get the easy win.

As for the rest of AR that was chest thumping last week….I’m betting your eating your words now. AR did become more organized, but it wasn’t due to one “factor” on the server and said “factor” got facerolled last night as hard as everyone else did. Where’s the words of we will win now?

Oh yea, and BP gets a free trip to T5 next week anyways. So, next week we’ll have another server taking BP’s spot but looks like AR is slated to stay in T6 for a little while longer.

I wouldn’t call it QQ’ing because 1 person called it “unfun” many of us have said were enjoying the great battles but its not possible to match BP’s numbers. Its a fact not a QQ. Oh and our post last week, many of us stated is was not enjoyable to completely dominate. I’m sure some bragged but the simple fact was much like it is now, they just couldn’t match our numbers.

Good job at being ignorant though.

Anvil Rock has moved into 2nd place ahead of Sorrow’s Furnace. Will be very interesting to see how the week continues to unfold.

Ya, we had some great battles thus far, few less BP and I think it would have been a very close matchup between the 3.

Gotta say, EB @ Durios Gulch around 3PM (-6 hours) EDT today was incredibly fun. AR (99% sure it was AR) was dug in tight and we had one heck of a battle getting through; it was a massive war. Arrow carts galore and seige, kudos for the fight – look forward to more!

Everyone, including myself said over, and over that we had a higher population than GoM, and it was boring.

I was rather hoping I would not have to do…what it is I am about to do.

During the last month or so there has been talk of Borlis Pass having a greater population in the WvWvW thus allowing them an easier victory over other servers.

While it may be true that Borlis Pass has gained players from other (sometimes rival) servers as well as a larger influx of BP’s own PvE population the one factor that I have deduced that truly tips the proverbial scales in BP’s favor is…me.

I cannot help that my epic awesomeness emanates so greatly that all I have to do is log in to the game. I have been told by a voice who shall remain unamed that it is as though the Universe shifts into proper balance when I set foot in Lion’s Arch. Even Orr becomes bearable. /bow Yes…you are welcome.

I think it is only fair that for the next few days that I step down from upon my pedestal to give AR/FS a fighting chance.

I will be missed, I know.

What’s funny as hell though, while Borlis Pass is hitting Anvil Rock hard, Sorrow’s Furnace is taking our supply camps, and putting up Balista in them. I guess they want second place back.

i am honestly having a ton of fun, while in AR BL i was having fun waving at passing zergs, it was so nice to see them all turn, and then i ran, so exhilarating getting away from 20, little less so when i fail, but still hilarious, so wish i could laugh whilst dead it would make it so much more enjoyable, like running from godsword to clifffside i think and then back(got another sized zerg) and then back, died when i got around cliffside. but it was still fun, good job though AR(last i was on) you were holding real tight to you BL, it was about 8-10 hours ago that i was on(had some RL stuff) we just took Bay when i left

I am impressed with how determined SF is and vexed as always by our lovely rival Anvil Rock. Had some awesome fights fighting a 30 man zerg from AR and another 30 man zerg from SF at the same time on SF BL last night, man you guys were pushing i managed to take hills and then suddenly you SF guys came alive and were hell bent on not letting up and were constantly trying to take it back, in the mean time AR had moved a good sized force into the map too and were attracting attention from both SF and us BP guys the fights were IMMENSE we eventualy took snuck round and took bay it was a good attempt by AR to try and ninja our cap but we were waiting for you =P if it wasnt for SF showing up at bay whilst most our forces were there we would have got to hills to defend so good job SF and AR kudos to you guys for keeping the fighting going for 3 hours or more

If you were referring to the action in SF borderlands yesterday, that was actually SOS alts trying to power lvl, we had formed up about 15 of us on alts to camp raid, and figured SF was a nice place to go since the south was held by BP and the north was held by SF. We figured we’d come in there and help SF abit. We first tried to take hills, but a few pugs ruined it for us, and you caught us on the act, then we tried to take bay, and lol again a few pugs ruined it for us, because pugs took the supply camps south of bay, we knew you’d take that and head straight to bay, we tried to hide but you caught us and ended up fighting in the water for a good while. It was alot of fun for us and we were all laughing so hard on vent, but then it looked as if SF got into the picture and fought you guys at bay, we then took the oppurtunity to take hills, SF at this point started retaking everything, and then came after us in hills which we did our best to defend. lol All in all we had a great day, some of us lvl’d 3 to 4 x’s before we eventually called it. This was my morning/afternoon, perhaps your evening. Either way it was a blast.

They seem weaker than the last time we fought them. Wondering what happened.

I have to admit that I am a little disappointed in AR right now. Was just in EB and we had 2, yes 2 people in there. This is not the same AR I am used to. I guess that is the state of AR Wv3 right now. That being said, it was funny that the true 80 geared BP Guardian ran from my ungeared lvl 31 reroll like a frightened little girl and had to get back up to fight me. I guess that’s the state of BP Wv3.

Real classy, ya know if perhaps BP was in tier 1 and actually pulled control of one side completely i’d understand posting things like this and calling the server out, but when your fighting two servers that obviously has less population in the wvw maps, it’s rather a joke. As much as I think it’s great for BP gaining all these people suddenly, to move you up in tiers, I can’t wait till you meet servers with equal population in the maps as you guys have, and then I hope you get stomped all over, so you’ll see that in reality that it’s not your awesome “stategic” minds winning at the end of the day, it’s really just your numbers. When you all figure that out, I bet that your mighty alliance will fall apart from bickering at each other, because your “Zerg” fest mentality fighting against under populated servers isn’t going to work. Then your server will fall just as fast as it rose, simply because of your arrogance.
