Game freezed while entering the cutscene before the maguma jungle! Since then, me and Guildmates can’t enter the Tutorial anymore!
it happened, because we didnt finished download. Since we downloaded it 100%, other characters are able to play the cutscene and finish the mission. But other characters, that allready received the bug, are not able to complete the missioN!
Adding to the few other people that mentioned it: Unlocking your Elite Specialization in Heart of the Mists seems to have bugged getting your ES related gear. Didn’t receive my Berserker torch.
Ya i logged out last night in the middle of the prologue and now I can’t continue it. My friends are in the jungle and I’m locked out. Tried to find the entrance in silverwastes for a hour this morning.
I unlocked the daredevil training, however, my achivement “adept: Daredevil” didn’t activate at all.
Only thing good to note why it didn’t work was I started to train it when I was in the PvP lobby, while my tempest, dragonhunter and reaper adept achivement were able to activate because I was in LA.
My story log still says “gather at the rally point leading into the maguuma jungle”, but I can’t do that from regular silverwastes. And I can’t get back to the instance the way I first accessed it.
Yeah several other people are having the same problem as you, all we can really do at this point is wait for the dev’s to patch it…so I guess you and me are locked out of 90% of HoT

In the Royal Terrace, near the Mystic Forge, there is a prompt, now, to interact with a Balthazar statue. I think it’s Balthazar…regardless, needless to say, there is no statue.
It’s a bit annoying, as it gets in the way of the MF, the merchant, and attendant.

Ridiculous that a company that cant even run their own website properly wants to stay on the market. Just god kitten ridiculous.
My client keeps crashing after playing for a bit. Normally that only happens after playing for a couple hours, and never happens when playing at lowest settings. This time I played at pretty much lowest settings possible and still crashed after 1 minute playing (after restarting computer). So definitely something is not right with this patch/client.
My warrior was in the PvP lobby when I started Berserker training. Unfortunately, the Wild Abandon specialization collection wasn’t unlocked . I used up all hero points so that I couldn’t continue the training outside PvP anytime soon.
Would you consider no location in the material storage section for Mother-of-Pearl to be an issue? i.e. – you have to either keep in in regular inventory or on your character(I know, there are some other items like that, such as Vision Crystals, etc.)
Not just you. Anyone who had any sort of connection issue or crash during any part of the prologue is completely locked out of HOT content. This is a serious issue, and that Anet is ignoring it, calling this a “perfect launch” is an insult.
sigh I guess I’ll just log out then, my boosters are going to waste because nobody is in the main world, they are all in the jungle which I can’t bloody access…

Overlord in Kessex Hills possibly bugged as well, but I cannot say for certain, though it does not give the Modniir item by mistake, so they arent swapped.

almost an entire day passed and no response from the team to the very problomatic issue that a big chunk of the player based can’t access the main content of the expansion. Such a shame very dissapointed at the lack of attention to it.

So…now what do we do? Could we at least get a dev to confirm that they are working to fix this? I hate just being left in the dark, for all I know it could be days before I actually get to play
Was there an unannounced change to the pricing of the Notarized scrolls? In the blog post, it’s stated that normal Scrolls are exchanged for 1 Proof for 1 Core Tyrian Hero Point and 5 Proofs for 10 Maguuma points. However looking at the trader, it has them listed at 10 Proofs for 10 Maguuma points.
I’m hoping that this is just a bug, as this will no doubt frustrate a lot of players that read the blog stating that it was to be 5 Proofs and not 10.

After defeating the first wave of gladiators, the arena champion won’t appear. nothing happens.
Everything was working fine and I was in the new maps a something sorry cant remember the name. Now I keep crashing out and its giving me inconsistent page size error. When I log on to another character In another map everything works fine. Please fix

I invested Hero Points into Druid in the pvp lobby but I didnt get the staff skin or the collection of it. This bug is confirmed by others as well for all Elite’s.
The game is still downloading, however it is playable. When I login and try to create a revenant, there is a sign on the icon “Update to guild wars 2 heart of thorns in order to play this class” or sth. like that. I’ve pre-purchased the game and I do not know why I’m getting this. Perhaps I have to wait for the whole game to finish ?
I also experienced this exact same thing. But, when I logged out to restart the game, I ended up having to restart the download again. But once it completed the Revenant choice was available.
So apparently you need the game to completely download before it shows up.
But it certainly was unexpected to see the download start all over again once I passed the “playable” green line before logging out to come to the forums to find out what was happening.
I don’t recall having a download start all over if you logged out when opening the launcher to see where the download timer was at….could not see the download timer from inside the game.
Whenever I reach a point where a cutscene is meant to be playing – a pre-rendered one, that is, not a dialogue session – I only get a black screen with the spoken audio and subtitles. This only applies to HoT-added cutscenes, as I experienced no issues with the personal story on several of my characters, but it does apply to HoT cutscenes for ALL my characters.
Already tried the Holy Re’s – relog, restart, repair – with no success.

I am reading the thread, and the testers are too. Some of the first few pages:
1. No extra character slot! – These are added once per week. Please submit a CS ticket if you don’t have one after a week has passed.
2. Stuck/frozen in Torn from The Sky – If you have not fully patched the client you will freeze when hitting a tripwire while the client downloads the missing cinematic. Solutions are to fully patch or wait for it to download. I know the waiting looks pretty sketch and you just want to push the close button or force quit.
3. Missing Achievement Points – We think this has to do with Halloween Achievement points from 2014 being reset in 2015. Investigating.
My launcher is not working. It downloads for 15 seconds or so then just stops. It won’t let me into the game and I am way past it being playable. I get no errors and I have already tried the repair and adding on -assetsrv 174.35.71.9:80
