Thanks for the update. I can’t imagine it spans more than Mac though, because I booted up in Bootcamp Windows this morning and it worked fine.

Seriously hoping that isn’t the client update I just loaded, ‘cos that doesn’t work either. No release note so I can’t say yet.

To be fair:

That’s one interpretation… it can also be read as “we’re not ignoring you because this was only affecting mac users – this was a broader defect than just in the mac client and root cause needed to be identified”.

same its not working at all,,, its black black lion window nothing what so ever, if there was a fix ,,, it obviously didn’t work

well… hope they fix it soon, bc windows isn’t going back on my imac.
Fricking windows partition trashed the osx part of my harddrive too much last time.
had kittenload of troubles getting it back restored

I still have the partition, does it damage the HD? If so I must consider removing it pronto! SWTOR is generally vastly inferior to this anyway except they have a reliable trading post (That’s rooted in specific areas unfortunately)

It corrupted my partition, spend full day on trying to get a clean install of osx, did finally succeed

I really hope this isn’t the same story for mine, I will for sure backup important stuff if I ever remove the partition. If this does happen I’d have to get Mavericks, at least it’s free for now but am happy with Lion.

If it’s not exclusive to the mac beta this tp problem isn’t affecting enough users to warrant a quicker fix sadly or we’d see a down for maintenance quaggan

Hey there, at this point, the current issue is a problem with the game code; the developers are working on a fix that they will push out automatically when it’s ready for release. No need to do anything at this point.

Not really. Just stand by for the announcement of a fix. With the Mac Beta client, when things break it is really just a waiting game. We have been told a fix is on the way and the best we can do is wait for it.

Not like it is a mega huge free item, but we are left out either way as these free items are usually one day only.

At this point no major loss as I got the deluxe edition thankfully before this debacle, though not at an attractive gem exchange rate… So I will have free bank accesses for 3 weeks on every character past present and future. I often wasted the 1 time access items anyway as I’d automatically hit the esc key and waste it by mistake hehe.

A handy utility tool to use is the Console, reports everything that goes on behind the scenes, was able to work out when faults were not on my end for other games, which is useful to know. I’ve been a mac user since late 2012 but am no expert either, nevertheless will say they are far easier to use than PCs!

Just glad to read that you finally have a ‘real’ Mac team working on the game, and not as it was a few months ago, when everyone did some/none work on the macclient.

the problem is still here…nothing fixed yet

I have the same problem guys T_T why we can’t use bltp?

They said tomorrow morning by which I assume they mean PDT (“Seattle-time”). And by that it’s 4.57 AM, so I wouldn’t expect to see the fix earlier then 5 hours from now.

Please let us know in this post as soon as the fix is out. I wont be playing until it is fixed (unthinkable playing with bags full).

Same issue. Have turned in Service requests. Booted the link to Google Chrome browser to check the DB. Turns out that info (which is supposed to work) is scrambled also. I think they have a big problem on their hands.
