The way you propose it is not feasible (queue for a specific map), but the lottery should be eliminated during map selection. You get presented the options, then vote, the map with the most votes wins, period. If the vote ends in a tie: like 5v5, or 3v3v3 and one non-voter, then lottery can kick in. Preferably the selection would not be only 3 maps but all the maps currently in play in the corresponding game mode.

Yes, the fact that there is always one guy who votes for Khylo annoys me as well.

Well, it’s a PvE reward, that you obtain in PvP, so…

Where exactly I said that peeps in Legendary should not get rewarded? If you started in S1 you don’t even need to get to Legendary like ever, so your logic if flawed. Getting to Legendary was never a requirement. Well it is if you started this season (I did and I am all to blame for it), but that’s a different story.

Warrior is the easiest class yet I feel much more comfortable and effective as a DH (no traps), which is considered to be trash in ranked as it is countered by mostly every other class. As I said, I’m nowhere near good.

Well my perception is that being able to play at the higher level IS the reward for many hardcore PvP-ers. I may be wrong though. Not to mentioned that they are/were already rewarded in being faster at getting the backpack (if they were interested). I would not mind giving them extra incentive, gold. minis or whatever for reaching/playing in Legendary, but I don’t think this was ever the topic of my original post.

Again, the point of the reward is to do well in PvP, it is a reward for doing well in PvP and you do well in PvP by crossing divisions. If you are not crossing divisions, you are not doing well and therefore do not deserve the reward. That is what reward means

The bigger problem here has nothing to do with matchmaking but you just dont care about getting better at PvP. This league system brought in many people who didnt normally play PvP that means they will be matched against the people who were there long before league which i imagine was not that many compared to now. So there are many more newbs than veterans which is why blowouts happen when one side gets more veterans.

Also, gw2 is marketed towards casuals, there are probably many more casuals than hardcores. Now i dont think casuals will spend 5 hours a day getting better at their class for whatever it is worth

The only problem i see (without guessing) with the match making system is the comp matching. Anet’s system assumes that all the classes are made equal and have no problems putting two thieves on a team or two revs against a condi heavy team.

I beg to differ. First of all, this is a video game, not the Olympics. Not everyone can/is going to get to Legendary. I’m sure I won’t. Not without help. No, I did not mean a carry team as in help.

Are we sure we want to put = between getting better and reaching Legendary? I’m sure I’m at least a bit better since started and stuck in Ruby, yet I have nothing to show for it. Today I won most of my 1v1s as a warrior (the class I’m the least familiar with in PvP), held points against 1v3 till reinforcement arrived (we both died in the end, but at least we tried), yet we lost. If my team could not use the advantage that 2v3 or 2v4 was, I don’t know what else I should have done. I consider myself below average still, so I did not meant to indicate that I’m good or anything and I did not want to bash my teammates either. Just trying to make a point that being good or bad does not seem to guarantee getting to legendary or being stuck in sapphire.

Btw where exactly did i say I did not want to get better? I’m happy to get better and would appreciate the help in doing so, I’m just not interested in the competitive level of getting better.

GW2 PvP is just too hard to grasp from the casual point of view. Especially compared to GW1 PvP. Also have fun improving when all you can do is to die on point due to the CC/stun fest that this game is.

Class stacking and unbalanced comps, I agree, but that’s supposed to be worked around by us, players by switching classes. At least in theory.

Slight correction, afaik, if you started in S3, you need to hit legendary in both S3 and S4
10 division jumps needed. (T1:1. T2:2, T3:3, T4:4, Total:10)
amber—1->emerald—2->sapphire—3->ruby—4->diamond—5->legendary *2

It seems you are right, I overlooked that on my end. I think I’ll just quit then and wait for the other method to acquire the backpack (yes, I like the skin that much). Thanks for clarifying.

the ticket requirement for the precursor wings is already low enough to be considered a joke.

I’ve earned enough tickets so far to make 2 precursors wings AND a mini fancy llama.

I’m happy for you, really. Most likely I’d be at the same position if I took part in leagues from S1. Also getting to legendary once should be enough tickets to get the precursor wings and the certificate of support and that’s 6 jumps. Getting to ruby in 2 seasons is 8 jumps, so that should be enough tickets as well.

What we are talking about is the Hymn of Glory and how the division jump requirement with this matchmaking system is making it practically unobtainable for many.

Edit: I stand corrected, getting to Ruby is just 3 jumps, and getting to Legendary is 5, so the situation is even worse for many.

Agyaggalamb.4796

why on earth would they remove the need to cross to another division for the reward, you might as well say crossing divisions shouldnt matter. The point of the backpiece is to do well in PvP not the other way around and you do well in PvP by crossing divisions.

Also even if they remove the crossing division achievements how would that automatically make people stop complaining about matchmaking? 5 players will still be matched against 5 players.

What is most confusing about this is you think profession achievement is more tolerable than the crossing divisions achievement. How exactly is forcing people to play classes they may not be used to right? not everyone plays multiple classes at a high enough level to take them to ranked, in fact it is generally advised you stick to one or two classes.

People tend to bypass this by switching classes when the win is guaranteed which makes the whole achievement pointless.

Well, crossing divisions should not matter reward wise and it does not matter at all if you started in at least Season 2 since thanks to the safety nets, you are guaranteed to get to Ruby. That’s 4 jumps, out of 10, so with 3 seasons, you are golden. Now if you were not interested in it before, but got into it in S3, then you have to get to Diamond in S3 and S4 as well. At this point I feel that quite unrealistic, as I feel I’m not good enough skillwise, and that reflects my matches as well. Most of the time we are just free pips for the opponents. I would not care about that if that would not restrict me from progression. That’s why this league system is flawed. I would not care if I was stuck in mid Sapphire for example as I felt that was the level that reflected my skill the best, okay teammates, challenging opponents, and no 9+ lose streaks and occasionally felt that I was able to make a difference between winning and losing. But with the current reward system, that’s out of the question as I was guaranteed to get to ruby, where I feel way less useful for my team.

Some complain about the matchmaking as is restricts progression with low to average mmr and that it’s a downward spiral, as your winrate gets below 50% you’ll get the higher mmr opponents so your get you winrate even lower along with your mmr. But what would anybody care about that, if progression was based on the individual wins, not lucky winstreaks? Yes, this progression would be significantly slower but more reliable as well as opposed to what we have now.

Some complain about the matchmaking due to low quality matches and blowouts and the like. If division jumps would not be mandatory and losing divisions would be a thing, then that problem would solve itself eventually, as everyone would get to the divisions where they belong. But that level of an overhaul to the system in the middle of the season is highly unlikely that’s why I came up with a smaller change.

Well the profession achievements can go for all I care. I just said I can live with them as I’ll get the desired wins with them eventually. Unfortunatley I cannot determine when we are going to win for sure so I can just switch classes for cheevos. Not that I win very often ever since I got to Ruby.

As the things are, it’s time to remove the division jumps from the meta achievements and find a different method of awarding tickets. A ticket for each win, and bonus for consecutives seems just right.

That way many can stop complaining about how the MM system is kitten (it is), and can progress for the backpiece. And those like myself who seem to be stuck in a division (or mmr hell as some refer to it) can forget about the NEED to get to a higher division because of the meta cheevos. There will still be the pain that League Professional is, but I can live with that.

Chances of reaching Legendary?

in PvP

Posted by: Agyaggalamb.4796

Agyaggalamb.4796

From now, I would say if you play 10-15 games each day you will reach legendary, 100%. I reached legendary in 231 games this season and I am not a very good player, although I do realise I am much better than I was in season 1 and 2. As long as you play enough you will reach legendary. Yes, you probably do need a bit of skill to get there, but if you play enough that little bit of skill that you need will come naturally.

Another 200+ games in the 20 days you have left and you will be legendary no matter what your skill level is unless you are EXTREMELY unlucky.

I’m not sure how that would work. I mean I’m getting like 1 win 4 losses, then maybe a win, then 6 losses, then 2-4 wins and 6-7 losses again. Today I’m at my 9th loss. Ever since I reached Ruby, my winrate is just going down.

I’d gladly start to spam games if it would guarantee me to get to diamond. But at this point it seems quite unrealistic for me especially, if after a close loss, I get the same people on my team (well, 3 of them) and the same people on the opposing team (I think 4 of them were the same). That was not the first time, and it clearly shows how the matchmaking favors one team.

So by your analogy my average at best skills plus my most likely nonexistent machmaking rating makes me one of the extremely unlucky guys in the pool. But hey, I’m happy to feed others with pips.

I’m EU, but my schedule is quite flexible as of now.

The matchmaking is deliberately unfair. That’s wrong and that’s the point of this thread.

In truth, I’m venting. I’m working on 8 straight losses this morning. 3 of those were roflstomps against the same team.

I’m being used as cannon fodder and I don’t like it.

I can totally understand that I’ve been experiencing the same, I’m now at 40% win/loss ratio after a nice start of around 55%, and it started to go down after reaching the end of Sapphire. Now I’m at Ruby, managed to get to the end of t2 once, just to go on a loss streak and get back to zero pips again.

Btw, your situation is far from bad. As you said you only need to jump one division to be able to finish the backpiece. Knowing that there will be one more season this year, you are golden, because you’ll have at least one guaranteed division jump during the next season. I understand that does not make the matchmaking any better, but at least you have earned it.

If i had that privilege, I’d just go to the way less stressful unranked to have fun, as I’m not a fan of toxicity, and “omg pve scrubs, you are the reason pros lose pips, I go afk” mentality. But as I only started this season, I’ll need to at least reach Diamond in this and the one remaining season and at this point I’m starting to have serious doubts if that will be possible for me at all without being in a decent team. But that’s my fault, mostly and the icing on the cake is the badly designed reward system.

Tickets should be awarded for wins, not division jumps. Division jump cheevos should be removed, safety nets should be disabled and losing divisions should be a thing. That way eventually everyone would get to the division where she/he really belongs, and that would also ensure equal quality teams, while at the same time the possibility to earn the reward in a way that is less stressful, so the overall experience should go up. But hey, who am I kidding this is GW2 PvP so those changes and a general move to a good/better direction is highly unlikely.

What if Anet took their nerf sledgehammer and removes all difficulty in this game? Even raids could be done solo with the worst builds possible. Would there be an issue since it supposedly doesn’t hurt anyone? Games will have challenging things. If you want to complete them then you’re going to have to overcome those challenges.

Nobody said raids should be nerfed. And mostly anybody can confirm, that this game is not difficult at all. Not even raids. You know what makes the raids seem difficult? 10 people needs to pull it off with little to no error at the same time. That’s what makes raids actually hard.

As for other parts of the game being difficult? Core Tyria is not difficult, even t4 fractals can be facerolled, dungeons are just free money. HoT on the other hand is just annoying. CC, evade, miss, miss, and CC some more and when I would say kitten it, I’ll just skip it (and I hate skipping, so that already says a lot), then the 33% speed reduction in combat says hello. Like it was not annoying enough.

I’d like to know the origin of this CC fetish in this game, but I don’t want to derail the topic.

Now back to adventures. You say everything is fine. Okay. What is your explanation regarding difficulty differences? How is this kitten balanced? Salvage-Pit vs Shooting Gallery? Drone Race vs Scrap Rifle? On Wings of Gold vs Fallen masks? I’d prefer them to be on the same level, balanced around the difficulty of Salvage Pit. If that would have been the case from day 1, most likely we wouldn’t even discussing this topic.

But since they were already “nerfed” (many of them are still beyond reach for most), just remove the hero points from them and move them elsewhere in the respectable maps. But in this case remove any and all corresponding achievements and collection requirements. If the latter is not feasible, then they should just be nerfed to oblivion, so and then we can move on.

As for completing Sanctum Scramble to gold with more than 30 secs of leeway? Well, if you are that good, I’ll fire up some streaming app, and you can take over and do it for me along with fungus, shooting gallery, fallen masks etc.

You can use YouTube to find the tricks and tips on how to get gold for each one. The adventures are pretty well designed for the most part. They do not need further nerfs so that anyone can simply get gold with zero effort on their first try like your suggestions would do.

I’m glad you find it fine, it seems our experiences are different. After 3 hours of trying SCRAP field, I got to 83 kills at 4 minutes after watching a couple videos where gold is attained, but I’m still unable to see a method/route behind it.

Comparing to Ley-Line Run, for example which was also deemed impossible, watching a video of a 27 sec run, and following that path was some sort of easy mode, and I managed to gold it, just barely half sec under the requirement.

The same goes with Fungus, altough, watching videos about it is painful enough and I don’t even have silver on it yet, but at least, I know the “cheat” route now. Funny that not using this route renders it impossible to attain gold. I’m no game designer, but forcing your players to cheat the system may not be a reasonable aim.

As for Haywire, can you link a gold run, that only uses skill 2 and direction change, I’d love to see that.

Floor is lava: well, I think it’s pretty far from “fine”, on the videos I see mechanics I am unable to pull off, jumps and glides that simply don’t work on my end (my latency is fine, so I honestly have no idea what may be the reason), and I got to silver, after countless tries and just barely (on time and on HP).

Anyone getting gold on the first try would hurt anyone because? As you can imagine, I don’t really have a competitive mindset, but those people who have that already have the Lifetime and Daily Leaderboards. In that case the numbers next to your name shows you dedication and skill. Whereas having 166 next to my name in the party window does not correlate to skill. Yes I know that not every adventure is needed for that (maybe five silvers if everything else is done), and I’m just 2 mastery points away from 166, so that’s not my problem. My problem is being a completionist and feeling the urge to finish mostly everything in the game.

im not even sorry for saying this especially since they ALREADY nerfed it

Well, they were not nerfed enough obviously.

Scrap Rifle: another 2 minutes on the clock and NO weapon overheating maybe then it would be slightly more possible as the mechanics are kitten. Fungus among us well, would need working and tight controls, but guess what, this is not Dark Souls, or Super Mario, but an MMO, so add additional 2 minutes to the clock and call it a day. Fallen masks: ditch RNG, add a minute to the clock. Sanctum scramble: the clock is still tight fix that. Bronze time should be gold. Floor is lava: well, additional 1 minute and it may be doable. Haywire: more time, 1 minute should be okay.

Or devs please post the gimmicks on a video guide please, on how should we do them in order to be able to meet the given requirements. And while you are at it, don’t ever again let the designer work on anything similar.

I was going to comment on your last sentence but then I realized that this is Anet we are talking about (the same guys, who ditched the remaining of the second generation Legendary weapons, the same guys who put in a trillion cc, and nerfed stability to being a waste of slot on the skillbar) and you are defending this kitten, so kthxbai.

May I ask what you mean by “grinding to the higher divisions”? As it occurs to me, if you have 15 losses and 15 wins you’ll basically still be in the same spot, due to losing pips and tiers, or just pips.

I can imagine getting an extremely lucky 3 win streak in Emerald occasionally, so with enough games, probability will be on your side to get out of Emerald, but achieving anything above a winning streak of 3 has like astronomically low probability as I see it.

Especially if the matchmaking is really tailored for a 50% win-lose ratio.

How I feel about: Raids lockouts & caps

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Agyaggalamb.4796

I agree completely regarding the slowly decaying rewards in the long term that will need to be addressed in the near future. However, shards should not have a weekly cap at all. Better raiders are basically done with the raid and easily hit the cap by Wednesday.

In our guild, the veteran team clears the raid on Monday, and then helps the not so veteran players to get their kill. It’s okay, as they consider it a shard farm, but after that it gets a bit bitter, as the cap hits and they are doing the raids for nothing. Good luck forming a party during the weekends.

This game has so many gates, mostly for account bound rewards, I can’t even comprehend… If the weekly cap is so important to prolong the value of stuff that could be sold (infusions in this case) then make said stuff only obtainable once per week or once per account. That way one who is unlucky with drops but wants that stuff can have it, while the one who would just farm shards and sell it off multiple times making profit and then the price plummet would somewhat be prevented in doing so. Of course the said stuff could still drop normally making the price slowly decreasing over time, but they can add a mystic forge recipe, or a collection if that needs to be prevented and they want that stuff in a certain price range.

All the frameworks are there but their utilization is somewhat lacking at this point.

We already have raids for challenging content. At least that actually may be rewarding in the long run.

And if we compare this to other holiday activities, if this is fine as it is, then Tixx’s dungeon and Mad King’s Ascent should be upped to raid level of difficulty. I’d love to see how the forums blow up if that ever happened.

Well, earning the currency is not limited in time. I rather think that this weekly chest is there to “force” or highly pushes all the PVE players to participate.

It was specifically said that there is a weekly cap on magnemite. New wings’ end boss chests will give 4 gold/boss, but that’s only temporary and we have no clue if the buff will be there for a day or a week. (I would not hold my breath for any longer than that, we cannot earn too much gold after all…)

There will be at least 3 wings that’s 9 boss and that equals 18 gold/week. I can make more than that with a bit of luck per day, but 10 gold a day is still not unrealistic with semi-casual playstyle. If this direction continues I may consider quitting as well, as there are quite a few things in real life I cannot achieve/get, and I would not like this game to start simulating the same experience…

We disabled these upgrades because we don’t want everyone to have to be constantly changing the upgrades in their gear based on what they’re fighting in the raid in order to be optimal. These upgrades are bad to equip unless you’re fighting the specific enemy type, and we don’t want to create the situation where it’s optimal to swap out for Sigils of Ghost Slaying to fight through the spirit woods, then switch sigils when you get to Gorseval, then equip Sigils of Justice for Sabetha, and then swap out for whatever sigils you usually use when you leave the raid.

Thanks for the answer. I don’t mean to sound harsh so sorry about that if I do but if the reason is that changing sigils/weapons would be a hassle, then maybe it’s about time to implement a way to resolve the situation. For starters at least Legendaries should have this feature to absorb and recall sigils and runes on demand just like their stat combos that’d take less inventory space and would be more convenient at the same time (not to mention the extra incentive for creating a Legendary). Talking about convenience, the first thing that comes to mind would be build and equipment templates.

Just checked the exchange. 1000 gold would be around 7300+ gems. When it will be at 4000 gems, maybe I’ll consider buying gold with gems, and at that rate an Eternity would still be like 200 EUR in real cash. For pixels. Very pretty pixels indeed, but that does not change the fact that it is way above my threshold for virtual stuff.

I agree, time gates should never exist in any game, ever. We already have rewards nerfed to oblivion, so it’s about time to drop this time-gating nonsense. Or fix fractal rewards so I can finally assemble my celestial armor.

Huge + 1, also flames and gliders too. I think the huge success that the Lunatic outfit was shows the demand of more color options. Now imagine dyable Auric weapon skins and effects, or dyable CoF armor flames… well, one can dream.

It’s a welcome wealth transfer from the wealthiest players to normal players

I’m not sure what you mean by that. If the rune cannot be crafted, then your best source is the TP. That being said how would this be different to having multiple armor/weapon sets with different runes/sigils? You’d be unlocking each rune/sigil individually on your particular legendary. It may also add more value to the less popular/useful runes due to many people who would go for complete unlocks on their legendaries.

Its not just suggestion its pure neccessary feature. Ability to have stats swap is completly useless when you cant also change runes/sigils. And all this swaping had to work with build manager witch is another core feature what still missing in game.

Yeah, a build manager would be also a very welcome feature, but I did not want to go too far with these “wild” suggestions.

As the Legendary Armor and the first batch of the Second Generation of Legendaries are right around the corner, I think it is an excellent time to bring this idea to the table.

So we all know that stats on Legendaries can be changed while out of combat. It is very convenient in case you want to experiment with builds and stat combinations and that is the very reason I’m stoked for the the armors.

What about the ability to change runes and sigils along with stats as well? Obviously we’s need to unlock the sigils and runes before being able to change them ooc. I’d imagine the Legendaries would be able to absorb the power of runes/sigils, and the owner of the item would be able to recall these powers.

How would it work? Simple: you craft your legendary and apply your sigil/rune of choice to it. It unlocks that sigil/rune on your legendary item. Let’s say you want to change it, but that is the only rune/sigil you have unlocked so far. You click on the drop-down where you see a list of locked runes (yes, your Legendary knows the powers it can absorb). You apply the new rune and boom, it is unlocked in the drop down list and from that point it is selectable when out of combat.

What do you think?

[Suggestion] Guild Hall

Customization. But I’m not talking about the decorations. I’m talking about the NPCs/stations placement. Leveling a Guild Hall is very costly therefore deserves Royal Terrace level of convenience. That could be achieved if we could actually place buildings/stations/NPCs on the map.

If that is not possible, then, we’ll need an option to purchase NPCs like bank and TP in our personal homes (if that is true).

Also when you go to the GH the entry point is way too far, it needs to be right next to the center. Also if there will be personal homes in the GH then an update to the home portal stone to be able to change if we want to go into our personal home or the home instance of our racial city would be very nice. Convenience, convenience, convenience.

P.s.: Lost Precipe needs a rework. Too much sand. Needs more green and vibrant colours, vegetation as well. Kind of depressing as it is unlike Gilded Hollow.

Don’t get your hopes up. As much as I’d like to go back to Cantha or Elona, it won’t happen anytime soon if ever. It took more than 3 years (assuming HoT comes out this year – I’m sure it’ll be after the 3rd year anniversary) for the first expansion, where we will get like 2 zones. There are other places we may need to visit, if we are serious about killing Elder Dragons. Far Shiverpeaks – Jormag, Crystal Desert – Kralkatorrik, Ring of Fire – Primodrus, and the Deep Sea Dragon as well. Considering the pace of things right now, we are approximately 5 (real life) years away from killing off the Elder Dragons we know about. Getting a new continent would be a miracle at this point. Sorry for the not so positive tone.

I would LOVE an open pvp zone. Ganking pve’ers would make me soooooo happy.

This is the attitude why the the PvE crowd won’t ever touch PvP. kthxbai

PvE is great now, at last. Do Not Touch.

I don’t care for PvP, split traits and skills for PvP if you will, but PvE must stay as it is now and we may finally see the end of the zerker meta.

PvE in this game was always easy… So we make it easier by condi nuking everything to dust lol.
I have never played an MMO that has an easier PvE than GW2… and it just got even EASIER.
Boy this so called “challenging group content” can’t come any sooner. You could play this carebear PvE blindfolded and still win. Condi or Zerker, doesn’t matter

Last time I checked I still got one-shotted in Fractals if I did not dodge, so it is still as “hard” as it was. What I do feel that the game became much more dynamic. We started to blow kitten up sometimes it was so fast we did not really knew what was going on anymore. I really enjoyed it.

For the record, I’m looking forward to challenging group content as well, but I’m afraid it will only be an open world experience like VW, instead of dungeon-like content (which would be very preferable).

HoT Price Feedback + Base game included [merged]

I totally agree with the OP, however I’d like to add a different perspective.

Many of us assume (based on the information we have so far) that there will be far less content compared to the base game, yet it costs the same amount as the base game. To be honest, this is still a good deal if you’re a new player. Only problem is most of us who are not happy about this have been since release/headstart.

That said, let’s look at what the Ultimate Package has to offer. 4000 gems + char slot (800 gems) + 4 additional ingame stuff. Let’s consider them 400 gems each, that gives us 1600. 4000 + 1600 + 800 = 6400 That equals 80EUR. There you go 19,99EUR for the expansion (which is the exact amount of the assumed value).

Looking it this way, it’s a bit better. I know many can’t spend 100EUR on a game all at once. I’m still waiting for the release date and a non digital Collector’s edition (as the proud owner of one for the original GW2).

No update today???

People still don’t realize that ArenaNet abandoned working on the core game to create the expansion. You didn’t really think we’d still be getting updates, did you?

The only updates we get in the coming months will be because of HoT, because MMOs can’t include content in expansions without also backporting them to the core game otherwise you get client synchronization issues (essentially missing data) in areas where the two content sets overlap. Its a simple as that.

(The only alternative would be to run separate servers for HoT.)

If they could I’m sure they would save absolutely everything for the expansion and then say that its because we asked for an expansion for so long that they had to completely change their development model to deliver it to us.

Companies always prioritize making money and conserving money.

Anyway, all of this should come as no suprise seeing as how the frequency and duration of “breaks” in the last years have gone up exponentially.

I wouldn’t be shocked if there is no living world season 3. :P

Been there, done that. I’ve been with the game for 8-9 years now and somehow the screenplay is way too familiar. “We have to allocate resources as we are developing GW2, so no updates are coming.” then “They are busy making HoT, what do you expect?”

Well, not this. Even though the information is slowly coming, and the specialization system is revealed, with some elite specs, I somehow feel that the HoT announcement was early. (Not that a proper expansion would be any way early for an almost 3 year old game but somehow still feels that this is doing the same mistake as it was with the GW2 announcement.)

On the other hand, not only the game but the team also grew so why they have to put everything else on hold because of the expansion is beyond me.

What happens to Orr?

I don’t want to be off topic but this suggestion and some answers made me think. I’m also not a fan of changing old content, but it still bugs me that we have been teased with the cleansing of Orr, yet after defeating Zhaitan, Orr is still frozen in time as most other parts of the game. Yet we had very cool TEMPORARY content during S1 (I admit, I missed most of it, as I could not keep up with it every two weeks, shame on me).

I wish they just built everything with a “here to stay” vision in their minds.
