Don’t overclock, I’m worried that your PSU is not powerful enough to handle your pieces on full load as it is. The build is very good overall, you should have no problem running new games on high.
Had my old 570 oced and cpu never had any problems. In full load this system will never go past 550W.
Given how good Nvidia cards have been for me for my 14-15 years PC gaming, I’ll never change.
Honestly, this isn’t a great attitude imo. Both brands are perfectly fine as long as you get something decent (so like not Visiontek, basically). Your best bet is to buy the best card in your budget no matter what it is.

What? 650W is excessive for his computer, if anything. A quality 550W would do fine.
To be honest this psu has been one of the best I have ever owned . Had one of those expensive gold quality that died in 6 months . After that I never ever wasted money on those type of psu . Saw cooler Master had good reviews , got this bronze quality and 3 years later still going on like a champ .
My set up runs the game great. Parts in my sig. You should have no problems, but you will have problems with fps in big WvW zurges and world boss fights, it’s the game not the hardware.
I personally would have gone with Nvidia, overall better performance in new games like witcher 3. That’s not ne ragging on AMD cards, that’s the consensus of may review sites and gaming sites like euro gamer and PC gamer.
It was really close between the 970 and the r9 390 . But in the end I went with something more future proof. And my experience with Nvidia cards hasn’t been the best , I decided to make the jump and get something overkill xD .
it’s difficult to make a comparison on if your experience will improve without something to compare it to. is what you listed what you purchased or your current rig?
either way, if you are getting faster, better components your experience will likely improve. just kind of how it works, generally.
My current system is an old amd 6100 cpu with a gtx 570 ( dead now ) and an Asus mobo . The listed part above are the new pieces that I’m getting . Just salvaged the ram the cpu cooler and the ssd .

What im going to Say with this comment it might sound old to some ppl , borring to thers ,good to some peep’s and kitten bad to some other’s but hey im a custumer so here are my 2 cent’s about this game after 2 year’s .
First thing first lot of ppl seems to forget that this game is an ’’MMO’’ and not some cheap korean F2P ( in this case B2p and then after f2p ) point is , as someone who bought this game and keep’s buying gem’s evry now and then ( when thing’s are worth buying and not this Utter crap costume system ) to support this game i Expect or ’’Demand’’ something worth my Money.I will repeat myself this game is an MMO after 2 year’s what we have is Borring,done at least 500+ time’s ,same thing’s evry day,evry night,evry 14 day’s .What we keep getting is not enuffff for me , and im sorry if im asking for ‘’To much’’ but hey one can dream. After 2 year’s can we finally have a Expansion pack, feature pack ( a real one not 5 colored dorito tagg’s and some other stuff that will be forggggoootten to oblivion after 14 day’s.) call it like you want, and if by now you didn’t understand im a veteran player from Gw1 and boy that game was worth all my money from the 1st day until the last 2 year’s ago.
Pause feature: Implementing this in an MMO makes my head hurt just thinking about it. I honestly see no way to do this without a significant rework to most systems in our game unless we implement a pseudo-pause.
What do you exactly mean with pseudo-pause?
A pause that just feels like one but isnt quite a pause. So not the game pauses instead every player cant do anything anymore, but the game still goes on (environment and so on), you just cant move anymore and cant activate skills. But it will be hard for them to do this with the AI (all thus petting zoos) and such things.
At least this is what I could imagine he meant.
This. We could make the score stop ticking and players not move, but imagine what would have to freeze in order to have a fair resume: Exact player locations, even if you’re jumping over a gap. Persistent AOE effects. In-flight missiles. Every boon and condition. Capture point progress. Skill recharge. Its a nightmare. Just freezing score and position is not good enough in a lot of cases.
Hello evan i was reading some stuff you posted about the time stoping etc in case someone dced , i dunno if you worked on guild wars 1 or ever seen a GvG match Between top 10 ladder guild’s back in the day’s (SoS,sup,WR etc) they used to have a neat system in case someone crashed they stoped fighting eachother until the member got back in the game , in case that didn’t happen the other team would either /Resing or just give a signal to keep on going .Now my knowledge on the work you do is limited to the basic rly , but what im trying to hint here is Instead of having the timer stop or freeze the match,player’s etc why can’t we have a Vote to Stop (ex: return to the base for 10-20sec considering the loading time with an SSD) in case the player doesen’t get in the match in that amount of time ,the match would restart or have a pop up for the Resing .Now as i said im not a proggrammer but in theory this sound’s good enuff to satisfy those ppl who keep asking about the /resing feature or Pause the match ( and this make’s me laugh , bc this is not gonna happen in an MMo still one can dream i guess).Anyway hope you guy’s get an idea or an insipration out of this comment .Have a nice day.

In TxS we are farming this event evry night since there is nothing to do out there for us (Teq>Wurm>Teq>Orr) , we don’t have any problem with ragin ppl or flaming or toxic crap .There are i must say Troll who just want to ruin the fun for some ppl but even if blix dosen’t fail a zerg of 50 player’s can Ez overscale Melandru>Grenth>Jofast>Penti and is pretty much the same all over again .As someone else in this topic has pointed out i have the feeling that those ‘’Toxic player’s’’ are the same ppl who QQ for Zerk,fgs,stack,expansion,nerf Teq,lemmesoloWurmcuzlootplsaNET1111.Srs just say thx to those ppl who atm are tanking dow the T6 price and keepin alive a dead map that should have been revamped 1 year ago (Thx C.J you know what im talkin about ).
Hello this bug has been there for a while .It won’t get Fixed any time soon , trust me when i say this .The only reason to kill the wurm is only for the sake of killing it ( you can call it challenge i guess …).Here is a tip that many ppl think fixes the problem , try to always tag up a Veteran wurm some ppl usually get their side chest like that (they didn’t b4 ),now this is not sure 100% but hey at least better then Abbbbsooolutte silence from Anet devs.Hf gl.
Hello do we have an Eta on the Fix for the TTw , after the last patch you can’t block the egg’s anymore with the well known build (Scepter /focus ) for the elementalist.I have yet to see a proper answer from a Dev on this topic if it was intended or not .Still The new way to block egg’s is totally braindead and is definetly not working as intended since you can Block Egg’s+Husk’s .Thx in advance for more info and an Answer .
This is what happens when you don’t have a proper Que system or a Way to chooooooseeeeee where you want to go or god forbid ,Instanced event’s where you can play with who you want.

ANet really needs to explain the alchemy involved in some players reporting that they always" manage to find servers where the Boss Blitz just goes off without a hitch and everyone does everything right, while the rest of us are always stuck with servers where nobody has a clue and it all goes south. What is going on there?
I can explain that with a single word: Megaservers.
Also, organised guilds happen to search for empty megaservers and fill them, so you often don’t have that much time to even get onto them.
For example, two days ago I stood afk in an rather empty pavillon and when I came back I saw that TXS went for gold runs there.
We organaize in 1-2-3 megazerver’s sometime’s .Depend’s if the pug’s want to coooooooperate instead of bearbowing and going afk ^ , if we see this sort of behavior we just leave the map ^^.

1_Ask for 6 commander tag’s in lfg/friend list , 2_grab a free Ts server ,3_Link it on map chat,4_hf and gl.
it’s actually a very simple reason. expecting hundreds of random people who don’t know each other very well to work together is probably one of the most unrealistic expectations ever.
Not rly no , as always Anet expects the Community’s to carry the masses .This game has a terribole way to teach ppl what to do and how example :Teq/TT/Mario.
The title says everything , if you had a chance to make an SPvP team who would you pick and why .You can choose from WvW player’s to spvp and so on .

-Bunker : Táge alway’s like his playstile (even as a bunker).
-Frontline/Roamer: Shad/Sizer or Helseth
-Point Holder /Caper/Decap : Teldo well my word’s wouldn’t make justice to him , so i will leave it you all .
-And Ofc Me :As a Caller ,War or Ele alway’s Enjoyed doin that in Gw1 HA/GvG and probably is one of the thing’s that i rly miss #Balance !.
No, I don’t want them to ruin any more armor sets from GW1… Just look at that piece of kitten they turned profane into.
If they bring back Obsidian it better NOT be from the gem store the same way tormented weapons are. Not only do they look like plastic toys now but they have lost the prestige of being an elite content reward.
I rather like the profane set, minus the mask and shoulders. Anyway I agree about obsidian. Those skins should be ascended/legendary and obtainable from some epic boss like the triple wurm. There needs to be more elite content reward skins.
But we all Know that won’t happen , let’s be realistic here this kind of skin’s bring lot of money to Anet ,and make happy some ppl not evryone ,still let’s not forget that you could actually buy the tormented weapon’s without the need steep in DoA. I don’t see why the gemstore is a problem for this kind of skin’s since , it does the same thing . If you want to work hard for skin’s in gw 2 you can’t since evrything that is cool enuf is RNG locked on a kitten chest and probably you will never obtain it.Gw1 was different gave you different option’s to evryone, if they wanted to acquire or get what they wanted .Gw2 does it only for few thing’s and that’s it .
I think it’s a good idea IF they remain true to the original armors and also make sure the shoulders aren’t scaled ridiculously large.
This game has a problem with the scaling of the shoulders on many of the armors, especially on Norns, Charr and Sylvari.
Well 2/3 of the armor’s from gw1 on the gemstore are rly well done , and i agree on the scaling problem but i guess after a year they might have solved some of the problem’s that many armor’s suffer on asura/norn’s/char.
Well the ummmm brightly decorated gentleman in the front is wearing Guild Wars 1 armor (Profane). Imo that armor is an argument against bringing them over unless they can be true to the original.
Those ‘Superhero’ pants and outsized shoulders. (Shudder)

I would love to see my obsidian armor /chaos gloves in the gemstore , i don’t rly like the Guild wars 2 armor set’s , to my eye’s they are not as good as the one in gw1 imho.Would be great to see them back in Hq in gw2 + nostalgia is alway’s good :p .#Makeithappen2015.
Or they can simply do somthing like this: instead of merit’s as a requirment for the ability to spwn teq/wurm/kark add an Guild Achievment pannel .
-Example: Kill Teq 10-25-45- time’s as a guild
Reward for each checkpoint = -2-5-7 etc free Wurm /teq/ boss consumable’s .
-Or Guild influence can be spent in order to buy Guild merit’s etc.
As a TxS commander and part of a guild that is focused only on World bosse’s this change’s are not going to help our peep’s .And as someone allrdy said we don’t want to force our guildmate to rep the guild , force em to move on a server or even do bounty’s .That’s not who we are and what we do .I keep asking myself sometimes where did the Anet Dev’s that back in beta or close to release kept saying ‘’Play like you want , we will never force to do something you don’t want too ‘’.This is exactly what is happening here , and is rly a shame that half of those word’s/sentence were just some Pr stuff to say .
You will lose a lot of long time players over this change, I guarantee it.
I know of three different “emergency” meetings being held tonight by three different prominent communities (talking between 600 and thousands of players apiece) for their leaders to discuss what they are going to do when these changes come along. If/how they can adapt, and if its even worth it given new options available in the market.
One of those communities has been together for years and has migrated between quite a few games, so they are no strangers to packing up shop when something in a game gets in their way of doing what they enjoy, which is playing together.
Needless to say this dropped like a bomb-shell on a lot of people and the opinions are not optimistic.
I hope Anet seriously reconsiders this system. Or that someone comes along soon and at least says they are taking a closer look at it given the feedback. …I mean…they want to launch something that actually broke the map. That just blows my mind.
I can tell you this , i was expecting this as i said b4 , this patch was way to good to be true .Back to you comment as a TxS commander and member of one of the so called ‘’Megga ubberr Zomg guild’s dunno why ppl like to call us like this ‘’ the reaction in Ts between members and leader’s wasn’t the best .But hey they have time to think on what they are doing , and maybe they will take the right decision .
