Same issue here, I got the Ultimate pack last night but gained no slots. Logged in tonight and i’m now +1 slot. I’m just not sure if the one I’ve been granted is from the pack or from the veteran status as I assume I’m supposed to get 2 extra slots.

Will find out of Friday I guess.

Thanks all, i have submitted a ticket but just wanted to know if anyone had been successful in a gem return recently. I know they have refunded my duplicates before but this was back during the feature pack (wardrobe). I belive then they only stated that refunds would be given out for a limited time period.

I understand this was my fault but it would be nice if items that are already purchased would just be locked. It still gives me the option to purchase every outfit that i already own, even a 2nd Digital deluxe upgrade, which is somewhat worrying when i wouldnt even be able to activate a 2nd one of these items anyway.

Im just suprised more people haven’t made this mistake. I’ll post the outcome of the ticket later in the event anyone else stumbles across this in the future.

Hopefuly a quick answer to a somewhat simple question. Has anyone recently been in the situation whereby they have accidently bought a duplicate cosmetic weapon from the Gem store and managed to get it refunded?

This happened to me due to my general expectations of how the skins typicaly work. I buy the skin, it unlocks on my wardrobe and from there on the skin shows as “Skin unlocked” whenever i next browse the gem store.

The problem being is that the Rox’s quiver set however appears to come in a package that does not unlock the skin until it is opened.

Therefore unknown to myself i logged into my ranger that i havnt played for probably a year, purchased the quiver and to my suprise i now have two of them unopened in my inventory. Yet the gem store is still telling me i do not own the skin.

Obviously i would rather had spent this towards what could of been 30 transmute charges so im feeling somewhat burned by the misleading UI. Am i the only one stupid enough to have done this?

Opened 2500 and got mine on the last 250 stack. Also opened a further 2500 to test my luck, but got nothing. RNG…

Just faced this issue myself, i was unable to log into my 4 mules so decided to pop onto the forums. I have tried guesting and this appears to fix the issue.

As an update, everything for me has reset as expected so thats great news. I’ll wait for a few more resets before i call victory just yet, but the bug seems as good as squashed =P.

Can anyone else suffering with this issue also confirm that all seems ok now?

I would like to thank RubiBayer for finaly getting this bug some attention and for Ryan Diederich and associates for looking into this issue.

As you can imagine, it was extremly hard to carry on playing with such a crushing bug plaguing our accounts. I once belived this would simply get forgotton about.

Im not sure if this fix is now live or when it will be applied so i will continue to test daily and post back here once i can confirm it has been resolved.

Well im back, like many others i too have gave up and simply quit this game after 2200 hours. Knowing that the Devs are now aware and taking this seriously i will consider returning.

Im just glad to see that so many of you also have this problem, not that i would wish it upon anyone but this may have gone un-noticed if it wernt for all of you posting.

I know to some this may not be a big deal, but i got so fed up of not getting rewards after running 2-3 hours long daily boss sessions, i just quit the game. I am still watching this thread in the hopes that this bug is fixed so that i may return.

Another theory of mine.

So we all know that this bug happened about 3 months ago and was “fixed” and the issue had come about apparently due to the mega server update.

Well i quit shortly before the mega server update, i then returned to the game after the apparent bug fix. Upon returning i then played alot of Pavilion (mega server heavy) and since then my account has mostly been unplayable.

So what im trying to say here is, everyone who currently has the bug right now, were you playing at the time of the previous fix? Had you quit before the mega server update? Maybe since we wernt playing at the time of the fix it never got applied to us?

Long shot but iv noticed that a few of you have claimed that you only got this bug after returning to the game after a small break.

I logged on to my mesmer 3 days ago, did my dailies, and then for the next 2 resets my dailies started on 4/5. I’ll likely do this once a week to check the problem’s still there.

Yup the bug still exists.

All i do now is log into my warrior, kill Tequatl, kill three worms, log out. Lost alot of will to play when my main character is now pointless to play.

Would appreciate it if everyone else with this bug keeps things bumped, ill mostly be playing other stuff until this is fixed. I have waited a month, suffered with it for 5 weeks, no response, really dont see why i should have to wait any longer.

So Anet basically is just ignoring this? I can’t do any ascended crafting, I can’t farm any nodes that require a daily reset, I have tried just about everything, and I get no response from them. I’ve missed out on four laurels, and the game is unplayable but I don’t even have it as bad as others. Awesome.

Yeah some of us have had this for a month, 30 laurels, 360 AP, 30 ascended materials of all types, 450 ectos from world boss salvages. However you look at it we are missing out on alot from this bug. Quite frankly if i hadnt discovered that by simply not playing my Mesmer would prevent this, then i would probably no longer be playing. There are parts of this game i just wont play now such as sPVP and WvW because i have no interest in playing them without my mesmer, so this is still very much a problem for me.

Just makes me wonder how many people are suffering this in silence and simply quit. The sad part is that this bug had happened a couple of months ago and if anet belive they have fixed it then we not see a fix for a while.

I’ve just been avoiding my mesmer completely, it’s the only way I can keep doing things daily, which is annoying because I really want to play mesmer.

The lack of ANet responses in this game bug section is shocking, you’d think they’d have people looking into here all the time.

For all we know they could be fixing it right now or the solution may just not be that simple. However the lack of any sort okittennowledgement is annoying when a Living story quest gets an almost instant response/fix and yet what many would consider a game breaking bug such as ours is seemingly ignored on both forums, bug tickets and customer service tickets.

Just a bit dissapointed, but i will endure in the hope that this one day….might get fixed….

Edit: Monthlies didn’t reset along with my dailies….

My monthlies reset, my dailys however did not.
Thats whats making this bug so hard to track down / avoid, so inconsistant.

Honestly, i love the outfits, own almost all of them and buy them up as soon as i discover them.

The reason being is that i can switch them all at a whim instantly without any additional transmute fee and still leave my main armor intact. I can wear them on any character, any class across any race when ever i want and i wont be charged extra for it.

However i cannot deny that having them also unlock as a skin to be mixed and matched would be amazing.

Ok this is getting beyond annoying, another confirmation that my mesmer MUST be the cause and now i litraly cannot play on it…ever….

So as suggested in my previous post i had decided today to play my Mesmer….. no reset. It seems that even logging into my mesmer is enough for it to break.

Bump….fix this….3.5 weeks on and im still suffering this blight of a bug. As usual i will continue to keep this bumped for anyone else suffering this stupid bug as we should not have to endure this.

Well, logged in today on my thief, and I’m 5/5 on dailies and 3/4 on my monthlies. This is just stupid.

I have logged in today fine, everything has reset, even the monthly ones. However i cant confirm its fixed for me because i have instead been avoiding my mesmer at all costs. Simple temporary solution would be just to pick another hero and pretend the others dont exist.

On the other hand my bug requests may have resulted in a dev silently fixing this issue. Therefore i will continue to monitor this thread and hopefuly spend a day or two just on my mesmer to see what happens.

It appears this may have fixed itself for me.

I cant confirm fully but i avoided my mesmer completly for 48 hours, I then decided to play on my mesmer today (yesterday) and everything has reset fine. So fingers crossed…. simply avoiding playing may have fixed this for me.

Going to log onto an alt and wait at reset tomorrow in EotM and than not touch my Mesmer for an entire day and log out before reset and log into an alt after it resets to see if that works.

I tried this yesterday 27th:
-I did not log into my mesmer once, didnt touch it, left it alone.
-I did not stay up for the reset either.
-I logged into my engineer straight into Divinitys Reach today at 9am (28th).
GG – Everything has reset

My conclusion thus far is that our Mesmer mains are now unplayable and there is nothing we can do about it until some kind Dev stumbles upon this issue.

kitten, missed the reset by 4 minutes, guess i cant play GW2 for yet another 24 hours q.q. Atleast now i can confirm i have to actively be logged in on my theif at the 00:00:00 reset time otherwise nothing will happen.

Edit: Yeah as your edit suggests, the only time i have got a reset to happen so far is to be logged into another character during the reset. Which sucks, i cant always stay up until 1am….

My third time writing this reply as the site keeps crashing with the error “Sorry, this area isn’t available yet. Please check back later. Try going back home?”.

Anyway i have yet again done triple trouble and yet again NOT been rewarded, no chest, nothing. I am now close to 3 weeks of play with virtualy nothing to show for it, should i even bother continuing? Whats the chances a dev will even look into this issue?

Tonight ill log into another character again during the reset time and see what happens. As for Dontonberry and Vaultnisi, if your still around, have either of you managed to nail down a method to prevent this/ cause this bug? All indications so far states that my mesmer is just fubar.

Well i logged into my mesmer straight after reset, mostly good news but its still buggy.

For the most part my dailys have reset however they are currently stuck at 2/5 with the “Recycler” and “Daily Events” already being completed. My Daily gatherer is now at 9/20 despite it being 20/20 yesterday, same with daily kills being 28/50.

This does not make any sense, as of my current testing these reset issues are only occuring when logging into my mesmer ( the character this bug started on). Funnily enough it also appears that the only achievements that havnt reset are the ones i completed on my mesmer.

No playing my mesmer main then i guess.

Ok a quick update…

I somehow through a combination of attempts have managed to get the dailys to reset. For anyone else interested this is what i have done today, quite alot so i cant really pin-point the fix. Most of this was probably useless/made no difference but i was getting desperate after over two weeks of this nonsense.

1) Completed 1x monthly goal and got my monthly chest.
2) Crafted 1 Ascended daily material .
3) Changed my systems internet time provider to that of a different server (which made no difference in time as it was already correct).
4) Set my ingame clock to Server Time and waited for the reset.
5) Logged into a character i havnt played for 6 months and waited for reset.

Edit: Just seen your WvW response, i was in Divinitys Reach when mine reset.

Since it was asked what did tech support say, I got a response back saying to submit a bug report in game (What I through is what was meant originally xD), so it seems that either I’m being lead into a loop or just have to wait till they fix the problem :/.

Also for other people, did anyone else use a Mesmer? My main is a Mesmer so I find it interesting that don got the same problem on his Mesmer (Most likely just a coincidence, but just curious).

Guess what, we have a hat-trick. I too main a mesmer right now and it has broke whilst playing on my mesmer….interesting.

Also for todays update, game is still unplayable.

Just to elimitate two other attempts that did not work.

1)Created new character and logged into it after reset.
2)Completed a daily achievement to see if this would restart the reset timer.

Would love to play….but i cant :P

What did Tech Support say when you submitted a request for assistance?

I guess i can post this, but since your asking this was my response and thus i am following its guidance. I would also suggest if anyone else has this issue to submit an in-game bug report to try and escalate a fix for this.

So logged in again today, still broken, nothing i can do personaly will fix this and as confirmed by Vaultnishi this has been happening to others ever since the megaservers rolled out. Tried a complete reinstall…yeah a waste of time.

Note this bug is by no means limited just to my achievements, i cant do dungeons, fractals, world bosses, spvp, crafting, daily gauntlets, mining in my home instance, nothing will reset at all. Until this is fixed i honestly do not feel like playing because a part from these daily tasks theres very little for me to do.

Tried clearing your cache? -Repairing your client? Switching from server to local time or vice versa? Using a different source for your computer clock?

Just some wild guesses off the top of the head….

Have just tried the client repair, no change yet but ill check after reset. I fail to see why the issue would be with my client when surely all of this stuff would be server bound.

Just did the three worms tripple trouble, yeah no rewards, havnt done it for about a week……..any other ideas anyone? Game is pretty much unplayable.

Yes my system date and time are fine.

Temporary fix: Avoid playing on the affected character/s, do not log into them at all.

Hi i am posting this here because i have yet to get any results from submitting a ticket/ bug request and would like to see if anyone else has resolved this issue. The response to my support ticket was just to submit a bug request, so i have done so.

In short my dailys simply will not reset, the timer ticks to 00:00 and just stops, nothing resets, i log out or change map and the timer then restarts for the next day but nothing happens.

I have tried many of the suggesions i have seen on the forums:
-Logging into WvW at reset time
-Logging out completly
-Completing some extra achievements to try and trigger a reset
-Playing a different character/ new character.

Possible cause:
All i can say for sure is that i have not been getting any daily rewards since i started doing the pavilion.

So far i have missed out on 2 weeks worth of daily reset rewards such a laurels, achievement points and i assume this applies to all other daily timers (crafting, dungeons, fractals). In short this has made many aspects of the game some what pointless to play. Therefore if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Trading post gambles arn’t all suger and rainbows, yeah i have probably ended up better off but i have lost huge amounts due to crappy patches.

For example past 2 weeks i have farmed the pavilion, made about 500g with countless hours of farming. I then got lucky and got a Lyssa backpack from the gauntlet worth a further 200g. Cool 700g you say…..

Yesterday i log in and the skins i had invested around 3000g on (catchers and rose skins) have all crashed and lost around 80% of their value. Yeah im now 2400g poorer and looking at spending atleast the next 3 months earning it all back if i can even be bothered to.

Some advice from myself, be careful and expect to lose it all at any moment because of Anets stealth patching.

Ill give you a hint, look at how gossamer scraps are now worth more than gossamer bolts. In my opinion and drop rate research (just opened 1500 boxes) the drop rate has increased ALOT but not alot to warrent this significant price drop.

The cost of opening 1000 boxes is currently around 110-126 gold, out of this i had obtained 3 skins, a desert rose, a wind catcher and a lightning catcher. This comes to about 70g, along with the other random junk (about 5g). I then continued to open a further 500 and got nothing at all but two reef minis.

So far about 170g dumped, 70g outcome. Honestly if your after the skins just buy them straight from the TP.

Nevermind, just confirmed it myself, the chests are now dropping them at an alarming rate. Previously i had opened around 2000 and only got 1 air-filtration skins. After opening just 50 i have already got 2 catcher skins.

So is there any actualy reason as to why i logged in 2400g poorer? Is it actualy an increase in drop rates like everyone has said? I see nothing in the patch notes.

Wearing this in sPVP and WvW severly breaks the balance of clones, i can be auto targeted almost instantly based on visuals.

Im sort of in the same situation, i loved sPVP but the progression / rewards were just never there, only got to rank 20 before smashing my face against a wall became more entertaining.

Now with my return im having a few fair fights but most of the time its just crappy 1 sidded fights where some pro is 2v1ing enough to throw the entire game out of balance. Out of my last 10 games i had lost 8, so what happened next? Well Anets “Matchmaking” pits me up against 3x rank 80s, yeah i think we lost that 500-50.

sPVP could really be improved with some decent matchmaking. They claim their megaserver can intelligently pair you up in pve worlds. I find that hard to belive when their sPVP match making system which runs off fewer varibles cant even provide resonable fights against players of similar skill.

Being thrown in a team with 4 mesmers or against another with 3 rank 80s, i might aswell just go afk….

Also cannot talk due to this bug, pretty much been in sPVP the whole time. So if this is what its like to be muted i think id rather quit XD.

They could then sell custom teleport animations to justify such an implementation. Burst of light, sucked into the ground. Yeah not my idea, one other game has done it and quite successfuly might i add.

I really must be missing something here, because all these updates do not bode well for the longevity of the game, atleast not for players such as myself with the previous mind set of skin/ ascended grinding.

It cant go without mentioning that these updates have litraly halfed my net wealth be it in dyes or skins, at a gem exchange rate thats nearing £700-800 of progression about to/ already has gone poof. Dyes, rare skins, ascended and even legendarys are now becoming account bindable/ pay to apply. Im suprised more players arnt feeling as robbed as i am when we have duplicates of such items.

With skins becoming bindable i will not have to spend as much time farming, i wont have to manipulate markets on the TP (probably a good thing) and dungeon farming for dungeon skin sets, yup that wont be required more than once. Generaly i just wont have to play as much for a similar outcome. This may even negetivly affect the market as people will not be required to craft multiple ascended armors requiring 100s of ectos/ refined ascended materials.

Instead ill just pay £3-5 or whatever the charge is which ill likly pay for with my left over gold that i now have no use for, and bam my new alt now looks like a transmuted god. Ill then continue to trade over ascended armors and fractals jewerly sets and avoid all of GW2 current “end game” in a few minutes with a visit to my bank.

Despite this, i really do consider this to be amazing news, i just dont see how it fits into the current game, not without some major changes.

My question/concern is, what are Anets response to these potential issue?

Yeah im just not showing my rage :P, i have put 2,000 hours into this game and now i feel like that has been ripped away from me.

I however like to remind myself of when SWG shut down, 7 years of progress all gone. But hey i had fun throughout that time and thats all that mattered. Diablo 3’s new expansion also made alot of peoples $500-$5,000 gear sets worthless, so such killing updates are always happening, i have just come to accept that.

The time i have spent in GW2 has been amazing and i will continue to play, but i would be lying if i were to say this hasnt put me off spending considerable amounts of additional time in it.

I am however a little confused as to why such decision have been made by Anet. One of the first walls i hit upon reaching 80 at launch was “right lets go earn some cash and get some amazing skins”, they later added ascended gear grind as we all know but i honestly couldnt care for a total stat increase of 1-3%? Im not the stat gear grinder type, i even ran around in gold gear for the first 6 months of this games release, i just didnt care for stats.

Now this wardrobe / account bound dye system is coming into play, what will people run dungeons or farm events for? surely not those 150g duplicate skins/ 30g dyes for their alt, because now they can get if for £0.50 via an account bound transmute. Why would i now make two spinal blades or run the next living world several times for some tokens for an event skin. Just seems like Anet is shooting themselves in the foot when so much of their design philosphy has been built around the rarity/exclusivity of earning such skins.

Yup 1.97, all mine, 10,000s of them. Not only that, over night my wealth in armor/weapon skins has dropped by 4,000-5,000g due to the announcement of the Wardrobe.

Im the sort of player who just invested, played the TP but never really spent any of it, im still running around in exotics, dont have a single craft above 450. Looks like ill never get around to enjoying it before Anet takes it all away from me =’(.

Well yet another update that has really annoyed me, i was flipping dyes at the time, 1000g worth of them to be infact and all sold for 2 silver each. Had i had these in my inventory right now they would be worth around 15,000 gold at 30 silver each……argh.

After reading more opinions on this matter, yeah… i no longer agree with the removal of this skin.

I never considered the fact that other players would then purchase dyes/ makeovers to fit with the armor yet alone replace existing rare skins. Those players who in good will supported this game are now being punished for making a purchase. These players are now facing the possibility of losing their original armor skin and any further investments they had made to their characters asthetics.

I find it funny how the exact same thing happened in another game and has been loved ever since (mostly). You know that hat i purchased, well now its an unusual with particle effects…better demand the removal of unusuals…oh wait.

Honestly i dont see why Anet dont just make an upgrade vendor, allow owners of the 100g set to trade in their parts + some gems. I would have loved to have seen reskins of the other T3 variants.

I bought this armor skin because it looked like T3 with extra visuals. I never saw the problem as i do not consider 100g sets to be all that special and honestly quite dull, i can buy them in the truck loads anyway. So i proceeded to transfer 300g into gems just to buy 5 more of these BL sets for alts, the added effects just made the armor look nice so i thought why not… no problem there.

I then log in today to find out that it was all for nothing and that im now stuck with the gems i no longer require and a set ill likly have to get refunded. Not happy but i can live with it and after reading everyones opinions on this matter i geuss i agree that the removal of this item was probably right thing to do, although a little too late.

Now my concern here is the integirty of the BL as a whole and those who had made gem purchases for the sole purpose of buying this set, will they see cash refunds? After all their very purchase was influenced by the advertisment of a product that will no longer exist.

“Wait sir i know you ordered that Deluxe meal for £20 but here have these chips instead, if you dont want them well here take some store credit. By the way that Deluxe meal you wanted…yeah were not selling it ever again, but hey heres some chips you can buy with your credit”.

Poor anolgy (i tried) but this has planted alot of doubt in my future BL purchases…

Ok, phone call to my service provider shows no issues, pinged from UK to USA is fine. Quick jump on planetside 2, arguably more network intensive, perfectly fine…

Possibly the same issues, been playing all day long without issue. Loading in after the update i cant play in WvW for more than 5 minutes without a DC. Not sure if this is just by coincidence, but my ping is going through the roof in my resource manager, every other game is fine.

Same issue, unable to use anything in the trading post due to “Upgrade to a full account to use this feature”.

Just my input. Had 26 keys sat in my vault from the last time i opened chests (halloween).

Chest 1: Black Lion Salvage Kit
Chest 2: Nothing of note
Chest 3: Fused weapon claim ticket

Decided not to waste the other 23 and I have pulled out while im ahead. The Joys of RNG i geuss, woke up lucky today.
