Anyway, don’t go making excuses. You are double teaming and have been since the end of the weekend.
When you basically have JQ/SBI zergs run past each other waving hello and charging like bulls into anything that’s red.
Or have JQ defend SBI keeps.
Or SBI not touching anything green until it turns red.

JQ, seems to enjoy their free ride, now that they can’t outman SBI and don’t dare to touch anything that’s blue.
Just chasing anything that’s red and not in the way of SBI.

Still enjoying my fights tho, better than fighting ghost servers.
Can’t complain that there isn’t anything to fight.
Just interesting to see over the course of this week how SBI actually is dirty enough to fight outside the game rather than inside.
Acting like the nice guys they supposedly are and how they have been set up with the bad guys (BG, ye we’r the bad guys, get the pun?) and have to deal with us.

As for the US East Coast players, I hope you and your families are doing allright.
It really is noticeable what Sandy did to the player-base of those hours.

1. running past,the frequency of this is so miniscule it’s ridiculous. and even if it did happen, it would be because other things on the map are more important rather than squabbling on in the dead zone.
2. JQ defending sbi stuff. if by destroying our kitten is defending, yeah ok. if theyre hitting a gate, and u come up from behind, the chance of them turning around and defending themselves is probably 1 in…… hmm. 1. what you see is blinded by the intense hatred you have for the servers. tier 1 is for the respectful tactical and honest players.
3. i play the role of a scout in wvw. i get info. i do quick assassinations of enemy scouts ( which is hard as a ranger now ). i deceive opponents(only on the battlefield). lets say im standing on a hill watching a fortified green keep get taken by you. red. i rally people to me. and we wait. now. is it better to A. go in while all gates down and fight an alert red at the front and dual reinforcements behind. or B. wait until red takes it, green gives up on it and leaves it alone and red wanders off.

it’s all tactics my friend. you just gotta see it that way.
and seriously? double teaming? grow up. this isnt grade school.

Next week will be a grudge match against SoS and SoR, IoJ will just be an annoyance. SoS and SoR in the future will have a constant battle for 1st and 2nd place. Black gate wont know what hit them when we reach T1, also IoJ using an excuse of “needing a rest” is a joke, SoS fought hard against SoR last week with AlOT of us putting in 12+ hours, even with all the non-committed WvW’ player’s getting distracted by a horrible event we still pulled through and as of 1/11/12 server x-fer’s will be changing to 7-day limits. On another note I’d like to thank [MERC] [SEXY] [PRX] [HUG] [FoE] and also other guild’s that I have not mentioned (apart from Pure White- the guild of elite Karma Famers), at times we frustrate eachother but for the majority we pull together- lets take the crown!

Tarnished Coast felt the pain of facing one of those servers that got a flood of new people last week. It was not fun fighting that many people. However, I would rather lose those matches, and be at the bottom of the WvW standings then lose the TC community. I have been impressed by how people play together, and the lack of drama on TC. That is much better then rolling over people every week.

this is once again exactly how i feel. our sbi community was great and still is albeit more fragile now due to the dethroning of the king.

Well I know what you feel, but this is a matter of choice: living with them (you have hope to make a good community) or alienated your community from them.

Dunno about Q times for WvW, as my experience in crowded server, I never had 4 hours queue for borderlands except EB. The longest is about 1 hour.

well here on SBI, it really depends on the morale of the people. And if you’ve been there long enough, and people are excited about WvW, there’s always a buzz in the air. (and high queue times)

queue times range from 5 hours (EB, NA peak hour,weak matchup)
to 0 queue + outmanned.

Not that i enjoyed getting hammered in IoJ borderlands garrison by both JQ and SBI but man that was the most epic WvW battle i’ve had to date. Was 30 minutes of fighting in that lord room and on the upper walkways. Hats off to all teams so far in this fight it’s been a pleasure to be a part of it. Oh and War machine – quit portal bombing us – my GPU can’t handle it

I, Arasuki, have been with Stormbluff Isle since the pre-releases. I devote my heart to fighting for and ONLY for Stormbluff Isle. But am I the only one that does not want us to win this matchup (ASSUMING we continue at the rate we’re going). All I can see are the hordes of bandwagoners or as you will know them as the “noob train” hopping over to us and ruining our humble little community.( not that people haven’t hopped already)

and so what gives you the right to come in here and point fingers claiming they should l2p and qq moar. this is for the discussion of a class not a “look how well im doin” comp. people that ask for the rangers to be buffed have good reason to.im sure many of us enjoy it too but we’re simply discussing the extreme amounts of problems associated with the class. there is a comic online which has one panel where the waiter asks " would you like more cake" and the other the waiter asks “would you like THE REST of your cake” we are simply being outdone by every other class.
for a ranger our ranged skills other than 1 are pretty crappy and/or have high cooldowns.melee also simply isnt viable.

do not come here and point fingers unless you can back it up with solid evidence that the players state is as you say it is.

engineers -mini form
mesmers- self explanatory
elementalists – mist form. 1000 dodge moves.
warriors – that ignore pain thing.
guardian- way too many.
thieves – can take a crap on you while stealthed.
necromancers – 2 life bars and enough life steal to become jesus himself.

rangers – requires 30 trait points into marksman and wastes a utility slot which could be infinitely more useful woth another skill. no actually, the others all suck too.

we also have no escape abilities or chase abilities. except a greatsword which no one uses. and the 35 second CD 1 second daze on a shortbow

why would you transmute a legendary anyway though?

You already answered your own question – latency. “Worldwide” servers still have to be physically located somewhere, if they are in the US then EU players would complain, if they are in the EU then US players would complain.

Even if the latency difference is minimal I’m sure some people would use it as an excuse for losing.

WE (JQ) are attacking SM, and instead of helping us by attacking the other end so one of us can take SM, you attack our keeps while we are trying to take SM…..I guess you like HOD being in first place…….so now were having to stop our Siege at SM and defend our keeps from you guys……

what the hell are you talking about. we slaved away at stonemist taking 3 inner doors and fought HoD toe to toe in the pathway to the throne room. i never saw crossed swords anywhere else on the map. (except the useless people in the jump puzzle).

I seriously don’t understand the logic behind Outnumbered buff. How is getting EXP & magic find buff in a war zone going to help balance the current situation? I personally rather get 1% toughness than 3000000% ExP + Magic find in WvW when we are outnumbered.

I find it insulating and in a way it is telling us “ops we are outnumbered! lets go kill some pixels and get some lotz”

I think the following need to be changed:

1- Don’t encourage PvE in WvW by given the outnumbered side a full PvE buff.
2- Replace the current buff with a small Toughness + Health buff. Does not have to be anything game breaking, 5%-10% is enough.

my house is also very insulated.

what queue? we no longer have any queues as people wait for next week. most of them wanting a morale boost or 100% world completion.

I only know of one guild that actually intended to implement spies, I can’t say which guild it was but I can say it’s not one from the HoD server. I also can’t say if they actually did get spies planted in rival guilds, because I don’t know if they went through with the espionage scheme.

You know of one guild that was intending on using spies, but it’s not a guild on your server. Please Mister not a spy, how does one acquire such information? Spying perhaps?

It’s explained that the 3 portals in Trinity go to the 3 Order bases during The Battle of Fort Trinity, so I would assume that it’s just that and not new content.

What I’m curious about is the door in Lion’s Arch guarded by the Tengus and the other door in the Quarry by Ebonhawke.

and the fort in brisban guarded by lvl 80 champions.

Kinda blows… We would of got second place and even first if ET did better in the morning hours. We always held first in our prime time against the other two servers no problem, it was just HoD and SBI would come around and grab everything in the morning. It’s an issue that most of us are aware of and are currently working on. I feel bad for these two servers that are about to get crushed tho. Hopefully we can find more night crew guilds to hold down the fort in ET while the NA players sleep. Once we get there, we will be number 1…

Everything is silly lol. My point of this post was as an observation and people take everything out of context because they get upset that someone is “trashing their server” when in fact I was just hoping that for in the future they would have better strategies then fighting HOD together for mere numbers.

kinda sucks for me in SBI living in australia. henge controls 85% of the map. and since number 1 is always green. im basically screwed.
