Yes usualy stays arround 68ms latency having lag spikes there too like every 2 minutes up to 300ms latency but no disconnect

Don’t know how many time still have to post this (i think i allready posted this issue atleast 5 times since game release there where no improvement what so ever), looks like Anet just don’t care about this issue getting tired of nonsens , why not put in game a simple latency meter ? to not get flamed becouse of the crapy latency ? , don’t get me wrong i have fiber optic no router or wireless i do use many online stuff only gw2 keeps losing connection , not a single other program loses connection , and no the problem is not on my side

Unfortunatly this is the case for my self to more than 10 daily chests no ring for me neither 1 exotic since fractals , I gues the developer who wrote that they didn’t wanted to make Fractals or the ascedant gear to feel grindi feelings they forgot couse they made a RNG thingy ANET seriously have issues with terms grind or they don’t have idea what that means and also add the great factor of disconnects when you have those 2 factors what ever or who ever developer says is not grinding they are wrong ofc it is all about grinding if you want to not make it grinding then you simply give them the ring as guarantied loot

Hi i was wondering since all new rings are Unique which means you can only have one , my question is that can you equip 2 with different names/stats or or the Unique means all Ascedant rings count as you have two of the same type name

Yes i know but in Metrica Province the there are no more NPC to progress after Canach the chain can’t be continued

So basicly ive got the map and got stuck to noll npc yesterdey which i understud was buged which got now fixed , i was able to complet canach to but now i supoused to go in Metrica Province but there are no NPC available anymore since we are already in Phase 2 so thx Anet for the 2 day wasting time maybe next time don’t over complicated stuff like this 90% of the stuff and npc’s where buged fixing the npc in the following phase was way to late to fix them

On that note, they have stated they fixed the culling/rendering issues for sPvP, etc., but they haven’t worked out a fix yet for WvW.

Lol culling in sPvP never had problem there they have serious probplems with the engine if they can’t handle that amount of players , to me sounds more like they can’t fix it but not willing to say it to sell more copies of the game

Dear Anet when we gonna start seeing fixes like

- Culling issue aka invisible army or engine render problems fixed
- Turtle tactics aka players stacking on top of eachother to avoid dmg
- Disabling free server transfers
- Constant discconects
- Lag

Well in my eye jumping server does not make you more skilled , becouse they will die on the new server the way as they died on original server

We don’t need to compare BT to Deso or Vizu here. Let’s use an extreme example. Do you really think that 20 players from best Vabbi guild would beat 20 players from top BT/Deso guild? Or even if we looked at 50 avg playrs. I don’t think so. That is not to say all skill is at the top but there’s surely more of it, not just numbers.

WvW is a lot about numbers but ignoring skill is a bit unfair to those guilds and players who put a lot of thought into strategy and gameplay.

Blacktide was having a point lead almost the entire time. And I’m not talking just about this match, I’m talking about last match as well.

Really tired of all the comments: “we would beat you if you didnt have nightshift/ morningshift / afternoonshift / eveningshift”. It’s like people refuse to accept they are playing WvW and not sPvP tournament. Choosing when to fight and when not to, is a part of strategy, and servers better at strategy win. Vizunah understood that a long time ago which is why they formed a good night shift. RUIN understood that also.

Let me repeat one more time: with the way the current system is setup, final scoring is directly proportional to the number of man hours a server can put into the match.

Servers at the top have better players on average. That’s because better players gravitate towards the competitive positions.

PS: Easy way to refute what you said is being online at server reset. All servers have maxed capacity in WvW (full maps). If your theory was true, every server would have the same amount of points every hour, for as long as all maps are full. This is never the case.

We know that from far that BT is better organised than deso so there is no question there , i saw many post from BT players who posted about that we asked fro that BT to come up in T1 and BT players got dissapointed by us im sorry to hear that , but one thing is clear BT is better than any of Arborston and Vizuna Square , if we go down we go down that’s it , that’s how the game it works and that will not be the first time

I think many server over estimated RUIN guild size and they still do , i know is easier for them to keep under control everything since their play time is when most of EU sleeps , i saw in previous match some one pulled out like 2k RUIN members don’t know from where , and also some one mentioned why they don’t build their EU comunity they do that’s why you seeing them even in EU times , and yes if we want fair matchups we need more servers like desolation to make wvwvw competitive other wise there will be no chalenge to win.

I am on Desolation from beta, never was on any other server. This is my point of view so it might not be totally true.

In the begining where the matches were short we were doing well, we had a lot of pride and fighting spirit.

We were around the top and ques began to be a bit problem, but hey it wasnt that bad. Some W3 guilds left around that time. Since Deso is big server with quite low w3 population, it wasnt good, because we replaced organized part with more zerg.

Then came longer matches and nightcapping, we were fighting hard but after some time it was clear, that we cant make it. People got discouraged, moralle took a big hit, we started loosing and all the fair-waither bunch started to change servers.

So after some time we ended with instant access to EB in every second of the day. It wasnt because we lost that much of population overall, but we lost big part of our w3 population. I really respect people I was fighting with at that time, because those times were hard and we didnt give up.

So slowly we began to build our w3 community, getting more organized and doing things the right way. Around that time IRON decided to make some night forces so we didnt loose at night that hard, and funny thing was, that we began to gain lead thanks to night, although our primetime performance was not that good. Soon after IRON’s hard work began to bear fruits, RUIN decided to join us.

That kinda kittened us up ’cause three things did happen.
First, our primetime play stoped evolving thanks to easy winning through nightcapping, so there wasnt need for us to get better at primetime.
Second, all that fairweather PVE population started to join w3 cause we were winning. When the times were tough I knew I could trust people around me cause only real fighters stayed at that time. When we began to win and those fairweather people joined I noticed they die so friking fast. I was like wtf, wth you doing here?
Third, with RUIN we got some kind of reputation so some fairweather people came from other servers too.

Which directly leads to our poor primetime performance, especially in organisation and cooperation. All those people from Deso that boasts how our primetime is good, get reall. If we didnt had nightcrew, we would be loosing and would have outmaned buff probably in EB too (maybe IRON would not break under the nightshifts yet, so maybe not). We had good primetime forces, but I dont feel it is true right now. SFR, Blacktide and FS clearly showed us our weaknesses, and that is primetime performance.

I am not saying we dont know how to fight or that we dont put up good fight, but with are not ready for T1 with our primetime yet. I am really bothered by disrespect of some individuals towards our opponents that clearly are better at primetime then we are atm.

I remember the times when we all were pretty kitten off cause of nightcapping, we called it PvE or PvD and made fun of it. Now we do the same things others did to us. I am not okay with that but until ANET changes their policy, we cant do a kitten about it.

So I would really like all of us from Deso, that really care for w3, to see things as they really are. We need to get better organisation, communication and cooperation in our primetime or we will suffer and rightly so. My hope is, that we will learn from that and that we will get better. But in no way I feel that we are better server than for example FS, we just had been lucky with RUIN joining us.

Don’t get me wrong you have in many points right but until those servers don’t have competent force in nightcap unfortunatly they have no chance in T1 they will just destroy their own server morale we also where in T1 and the same thing happened to us or you forget about that ? , maybe there are advantages being in lower tiers , and yes there is always room for improvement

Atleast all of you just destroy Desolation i mean serious a few of their players atleast one needed to use a hack/exploit to get our last keep, and to destroy the massive siege weaponry. So Blacktide/FS next week we from Kodash pray that you destroy desolation total and make them 3. rank. And that we got flamed and hit by arrogance when we where very mad about that incident shows also how many of those nightcappers of them really think.

Well you know we can’t hold everyone’s hand to not do it , but this coming from a Kodash player don’t forget we had an entire week when a Kodash player destroyed altars and took all orbs , now there where a cheap argument that someone wanted some kind of revenge but that only favored Kodash server , so please don’t come with cheat arguments , what i saw from Kodash this week nightcap or not you where beaten in prime time that explains everything to you i hope.

I have yet to understand why a huge guild would join a eu server only to cap everything and then sit around for hours doing nothing. If they really were looking for a challenge, there ist no point in choosing a eu server, maybe in t1 you will have more than 10 enemys to deal with.

If they manage to return to D1 [RUIN] will get their night fun with Arborstone night crew and probably Vizunah (if VS wont break from demoralizing factor until then). But while they will have all fun at nights (but without +700 ticks this time), EU population of Desolation will suffer and will lose points, because honestly it’s just the same unorganized mess that we have seen on previous match-ups.

The Personal story Battle for claw island it keeps randomly disconnects the player ive done it 10 times every single time ive got disconnected to character screen with error 7 , and no is not my connection fault so don’t come with that nonsens is not fun to waste my time on somthing what does not working

It’s not just Xaoc performing well on Blacktide though.
We’ve been pretty impressed by the willingmess of the pugs to listen to what is said, the lack of useless spam and their helpfulness on Blacktide.
Other guilds are also reaching out to cooperate.

Just to give you an example how things happening daily basis on deso yesterday when we fought to take Garison in Deso borderland we took down the wall we barly had enough players then seeing the other side of garison being attacked by our server.

On a different matter, Blacktide has an opening for an EU guild and a lareg US contingent, Iron and Ruin are welcome to transfer over.

It seems that RUIN transfered to Desolation hoping to be a night crew to help with a 24/7 force so they could fight in the top tier, and while they do seem to do well at EU off times they will not help Desolation contend in the next bracket because in EU prime time they will get destroyed…. however as you suggested if they were on Blacktide then Blacktide would deff become a 24/7 powerhouse which.. as I see it.. Desolation is simply not.

I would actually enjoy seeing a different large American guild come to Blacktide for the next matchup vs Desolation (I am sure that there are some American guilds that would also love to battle vs RUIN).

Desolation has a problem like many other servers many few manned guilds which in fact on Balcktide in our borderland i see mostly Xaoc guild with nice voicecom
fighting against pug without voicecom , ofc they perform poorly compared to 1 large guild with voicecom , our server mostly they communicate on chat which is slow and many times gets readed to late but even then as pug i think i can say there is nothing to shame about we do pretty well , some times even at pre-primetime we get greatly outmanned but things can change very fast

Too many good points in this thread to let it sink , currently playing with 10,0,30,30,0 traits to be able to go in melee range but even with those you will be draged on the floor and end up dead in matter of seconds , when i run in 1vs1 pretty much becouse of the too much defensive stats can’t kill decent player , I did tryd your build stefanplc it looks okeis when you fight against small groups but as you pointed out in mass fight you will get melted down in matter of seconds no matter of what , i hope some dev will see this what you suggested.

Im getting also constant disconnected signing up for WvWvW not even a minute getting disconnected mostly happening at peak hours 18:00+ GMT have optic fiber so not my connection fault

Well, the first time that the Dawns eyrie whatever tower was captured, it had belonged to us for pretty much the whole day, and when it was captured, all the walls and the gate was pretty much at full health, and then the certain individuals from Desolation magically took the tower from SFR

Arenanet should start fixing stuff

1. Rendering (disable mesmer teleport until is fixed since to many abuse this , and btw as far as i know this is not Startrek Online would love to know who was who came whit the idea)
2. Add some Diminishing Returns on CC currently the game is all about who can spam more CC’s
3. Servers are way to laggy no matter of what region
4. Random DC’s
5. Events still failing big time

Summed all of those prety much all high level content is broken

Are you joking?? If there’s one place warrior shines it’s in WvW zergs. They have the highest health/armor in the game, and have access to both aoe and single target ranged damage. If your warrior dies in three seconds, your ranger will die in one second.
Advice: Levels make a very large difference in WvW. And any class who gets focus fired by a zerg is going down in 2-3 seconds, nothing will keep them alive. Don’t be in a position where you are the target that’s going to show up when the enemy team is smashing the tab key.

I was joking im using reflecting build most of the time im tanking in wvwvw and watching how the enemy kills itself on me :P

75% of the high level content buged , how hard can be to reset the events if they failed we can’t buy gear becouse of the event failed and now we have to wait a week to restart the servers oh and just to add the only one lvl 80 map is way to low high end content and the amount of events on it also to low

Some how i do agree some points that we have ranged alternatives but they lack dmg or they are single target with very short range , i also do agree on OP about the melee and ranged stuff don’t know how the ranged classes would feel if they where forced to play in melee range and no there is no build what so ever what can save your skiny kitten from the zerg all you get in WvWvW CC over CC till you die unfortunatly in GW2 there are no CC DR they can CC chain you to death which is a bit shame for a 2012 released game , not having control over your character is not somthing what i call fun.

Ofc things goes wrong on Desolation when players are not lead by no one and even at peek hours we get outmann buff and stuff like GoD = Guardians of Desolation guild raids the keep supply to build Dummy targets for the enemy trebuche , Desolation will go down in ranks and then maybe they will lern to act as they should.

I think they should make the account 1/server to not allow to create spy characters on enemy servers so you have 5 character slots but you allowed to create all of them on the same server transefers sure 1/month but all of your characters also the cross server chat has to go.

Transfers allready ruined the WvWvW but don’t get me wrong weak players thinking moving to wining servers making them stronger are wrong anyway players who flee to wining servers are the mindless zerg who mostly was anyway useless so actualy they doing us a favor , there is no glory in jumping server prety much you don’t achieve anything by doing so

Hi , this issue has been reported since September 19, 2012 is time to do somthing about few weeks passed since , players abusing this too often every single zerg fight now happens , this way wvwvw is just pointless and just favors the abusers

also whats the point of outmanned buff it gives absolut nothing the tolltip says 33% + karma money and xp while does not give nothing more than without also sometimes the buff just vanishes some players have it others don’t otmanned buff should be somthing more like the orb incresse the power of the fewer players to have a chance to fight since we are not in wvwvw to kill scripted mobs being outnumbered you have almost no chance to kill anything to gain from those what outmanned buff gives now

This works pretty good in WvWvW and Dungeons you will have plenty heals for your allies and many block which also reflect back the ranged dmg to the attacker in pve mobs don’t do enough dmg to have any trouble if you have a decent gear you should have like 25k-29k HP with high survivability , I have 5/6 of the Karma gear the infiltrator but replaced the runes with the Superior Rune of the Soldier

Im using a greatsword, and I do a bit over 500 damage in a single auto-attack, and about 1000 on a critical, my HP is 15K. Oh and im level 73.

Mace + shield is prety nice combo to block and reflect back all ranged attacks but ofc depends what do you want to do

Glass cannon signet warriors in dungeons really grind my gears.

As a Warrior who is willing to sacrifice my own personal damage stats to spec for things like shouts that cleanse and heal, and also gear for survival with toughness and vit. I get a little tired of constantly rezzing some signet war who brings nothing to the group but a Hundred Blades CD between me rezzing his sorry kitten.

I understand running this for leveling, as it makes running through quests a heck of a lot easier, but for dungeons try to remember that a dead warrior does 0 damage. And a signet warrior brings 0 utility.

Dear Arenanet the WvWvW is completly unplayable becouse of this the rendering issue + this teleport skill is game breaking is not fun to see a small grp wiping 30+ players becouse they are uneable to see them until they are downed , disable the skill until you fix the rendering issue as they teleport the fps drops to a level that you are uneable to move or do anything you are just sitting there and waiting till you die or this is what Arenanet wanted with the class balances to do some 1 button skills like this why not add to other classes to some 1 button god mode .

Entire servers are using this crap to asure victory no matter of what there is not a single keep or tower attack without this being abused to a level till attackers get to a level that they spent almost like 1 gold on repair bills and give up becouse of this issue please do somthing with this.
