And by the looks of it, I’ll only be able to craft one piece of legendary armor for the next 2 seasons. The rest will take longer since I don’t have the base ascended armor for the rest. ;_;

Lol, being left with a 4v5 on 2 nodes would be great. Rotating between nodes and continuously killing players is great. Can’t see how competent players would even lose one node like that.
I block those people. The whole game gets better after that. There are times when I rage, but I just point out mistakes and rarely Kitty talk others. And idc, they can block me if they wish it.
I am about to craft my first piece and let me tell ya, I agree with OP. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll use it not stop in both wvw and whatever pve I might do, but that being said it still takes a good amount of time and gold to complete. Having something to indicate that I have legendary would be great. Even if it is a small fire on the shoulders similar to the The Ascension.
You might be right. I currently have 2k games played. I play every profession and l have played them all almost evenly. My most played class is thief and it has around 360 games played. All the others are around 190+ so I definitely need to practice one class before I jump around to others.

Even though you decided to keep the max value at 100, I do believe that you should increase Roxas above it to represent the actual skill difference between him and Sindrener.

Perhaps, you must purchase the weapon to unlock the Achievement? And those Plated Weapons awarded through the PvP/WvW Reward Track are kind of a bonus item?

Well, I did receive and achievement when I got the weapon, but it’s not appearing at all.
I used the search bar and looked around. Found nothing.
Gonna submit ticket I guess.
I obtained the plated weapon trough Heart of Maguuma Reward Track in sPvP. When I first obtained it I received an achievment regarding the plated weapon, which is not visible at all. I am also unable to see the Machined Weapon collection for the staff I received.
Trying to get the spec weapon Bo and this is really hurting me here…
Honestly, somone needs to be fired for this poor balancing.

Well since I was wrecking in spvp on my core Mesmer I would have to say that this is just a L2P (learn to play) issue.
What exactly is that video trying to show? lol
The mesmer is continously predicting and reacting to his opponent. While the warrior is just trying to land his E-Z-WIN-SKILL…
Not every mesmer plays like him, and if the warrior was using another build, he might have had a better chance.
You could look up videos of other people who play with similar skill on other professions who could rek other mesmers.
I don’t have much trouble taking out DH on my thief, even 1v1 or 1v2. That is unless I meet a really skilled one, there I can still win a 1v1 anything else and I just run away.

Well, don’t play ranked. If you are a new player to the game, and are hoping to do well against experienced people tryharding to get their pips; You won’t have fun. Also, copying a build doesn’t mean that you are great at that certain profession. That takes practiced.
better to just go in unranked or duel servers.
Those other Mesmers must always be offline when I play. I am always the only mesmer in the matchups. :/

I am cool with the patch. Honestly, it was needed. It only affects certain builds, which people jump on the bandwagon to get easy wins. Jumping from class to class until it gets nerfed and repeat. There are other builds people can use but that would require skill.
I am in Ruby. My tier4 elite achievement says 2/4 complete.
Warrior can usually keep up to a certain point. Greatsword 3&5 / Sword 2 help apply a lot of pressure. You also have stuns.
I just have the metabattle build with some stuff changed a bit.
I have the DH trait that removes condis when you block. and also the healblock as your skill#6. Pretty good.

Low tier legend vs high tier diamond. I don’t see anything wrong that devs or other players haven’t explain yet. But for you one more time. Your within pip range of each other. 15 or -15 and even wider the longer the ques are.
So the lowest player within my pip range only searches for players above him? Is the whole matchmaking based on me alone? :O

Yes, but even though you might use the blocklist only for that reason, you can bet your rear plenty of people will use it in the way I mentioned should this ever find its way into the game. Of course it’s not optimal, but people blocking each other left and right just to get better teams would be so much worse.
I can see that happening. But doesnt the matchmaker get people with similar mmr? so that blocking would be for nothing, since they will still get paired with people that have their mmr on par with them.

Or I rather not to queue up with poeple who are negatively vocal on chat.
And when blocked and we get paired, there really isn’t any strategy going on, since I won’t unblock them.
In most games i think you will still get matched with them, at best i heard theres “try to avoid”.
In terms of gw2s population its even physically impossible, its already decimated in the high level.
And its also against Arenanets vision and mentality, gw2 is a casualist game that even hides your MMR just to make bad poeple feel not bad.

Why does the matchmaker keep on pairing me with people in my block list? If I put them there hat means that I don’t want any interaction with those people, but I keep on seeing them there time and time again. Is the player seletion pool that small? Really, deal with this.
Well, I am getting paired with people who don’t fully cap home/mid just so they can follow some guys across the whole map. With poeple who zerg far WHILE home/mid is getting capped by a thief. I don’t believe someone like that is within my skill level, so why does the matchmaker keep on pairing me with that match after match?
Cos the actual achievements aren’t really that rough for competent players who don’t end up on the business end of the farcical MMR system. Could be farmed in a week or less under the right conditions.
Yeah, but adding timegates to stretch out content is just bad design. If people want the legendary, they are going to get it. Plus we are in S3 already, so timegates shouldn’t exist right now.
Hey, I wanted to make The Ascension this weekend, but there are kittening time-gates in the achievements. No idea why they would add time-gates to a pvp based legendary. Really, That’s all I need.
Are people really having a problem with this? lmao
Should also add : when a teammate isn’t trying to excuse himself to the other team such as " my team sucks" and the like.
