We had some pretty good open field fights last night at your west keep, tho it was more like 12v25. As for tonight, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group get so angry from having their treb ballista’ed down from behind..
Although head bashing against gates is unskillful and annoying, removing player damage to gates would provide a huge boost to the defensive force. All it would take is 5 superior arrow carts behind a gate and gates would be unbreakable.
Or they could.. I donno.. make catapults, golems or trebs.. or have an overall strategy that involves attacking when the enemy isn’t expecting it? Is taking a keep without ever needing to use a single piece of siege working as intended?
Allow structure upgrades to be purchased with badges as well as gold, tho I honestly don’t understand why they cost anything at all other then supply..
Players should not be able to cause damage to gates. A group of 40 can auto-attack a wooden or reinforced gate down without using any siege, it’s just dumb and encourages mindless zerging. Changing this would allow smaller groups of players to defend against larger groups of players that use poor tactics. This change would also prevent one player from being able to keep a waypoint endlessly contested.
Bring back the Orbs with a different mechanic like PPT, but change the altars of power so that all of them behave like the northern altar. If you have to kill the keep lord before taking the orb it would prevent nearly all the “hacking” of the orbs.
Change the outmanned buff to give the same buff 3 orbs use to give, this would definitely encourage people to stay and fight when they are outmanned.
Well, more likely I needed to get rid of all those older clips off my hard drive to make room for new ones.. There is a ranger [pk] commander in there that dies tho, that’s more recent.

Well you see.. some people play because of scores, that’s why they put their oceanic guild on a north american server so they can pvdoor and avoid any real challenges.. others play to have fun.

This is probably in reference to the BINQ mesmer who has been repeatedly exploiting to put portals down inside buildings that have not been breached, such as the garrison and NE tower. Tho I do not think BINQ is a real guild, he was in full party and taking camps with SA.
Here is a screenshot right after he dropped a portal inside the tower to let his buddies in who all wiped to half their numbers.. Sad part was, the breakout was going and they took the tower the legitimate way.. there was no need to exploit but he still did..
Most of what people keep trying to claim is some grand conspiracy of being 2 v 1’ed tends to just be people capitalizing on opportunities. If Mag helped Yak take our garrison and wipe the upgrades, then maguuma would have an easier time taking it for themselves.. or they were going to hide one of their 9000 mesmers inside and hope yak didn’t check.. can’t really blame them for it.
EBay might have some competent players but I didn’t see any tonight unless they are competent in pve.
Anyway when you see groups of 20 toons from a server camping the jp entrance and picking people who enter it off one by one I have no respect for them.
No idea what you’re smoking.. how long did it take yak to take our garrison?? Four hours inside the lord room or something? It took us less then 5 minutes to take yours immediately after and we were only pushed out of it once we were outnumbered 6 to 1.. you should wvw more and jumping puzzle less.

Nice video, one downside, we already did all that. Plus more, also quaggan gangbang I can assure you is not a tactic. Personally I also enjoy doing the Moses and nutcruncher, or the famous jerkjerk Mexican standoff. Decent tactics everybody already knew was what you posted.

Well i spent so much time in cursed shore farming penitent and shelter’s camp i was banned for botting.. and I even learned the Chinese farmer lingo, 3=1 means 3 members looking for 1 more.. wonder if that’s what got me banned hmm…

Pretty sure most people know about the exploit. 2 BP in the lords room, no gates or walls even touched. We have had the keep for over 3 hours so I know there was no mesmers in here. I have been in this tower for almost 3 hours since we took it. Just happened to be on the outer wall refreshing siege when they did it. As I said no guild tag and must have been a thief and or mes, because they vanished.
Not really surprised, BP also exploited to take Quentin Saturday, after throwing bodies against it for 4 hours.. there were no walls or gates down.. but then again this is the same group who happily proclaim that placing trebs in the invulnerable zone isn’t an exploit.. it’s just “bypassing intended game mechanics by finding flaws in the game”.. Either way it motivated me to sit in their borderland and paint it green the entire day today..
Nice video, I made sure to run in as a princess doll before dagger storming.. Tho.. you do realize catapults do alot more damage to walls then gates.. and that if you had simply looked to your left.. the wall was already at 20% from the garrison trebs… and then all your catapults died to one ballista.. but it definitely put a smile on our faces
There was a lot of fun fights in Eternal BL Saturday, I just wish [Krew] hadn’t exploited by bypassing the “unable to build siege in the invulnerable area” mechanic.. was pretty lame.
I understand there’s always been some mechanic for siege de-spawning but there has been a change recently. I defended our borderland the whole night, and ALL the siege de-spawned. This has never been an issue in the last month on our server. I built an arrow cart in a tower, fired it hitting something, came back and it was gone an hour later. The very same arrow carts would last days previously.
It would seem after the latest build that every piece of defensive siege on our map despawned rather quickly. It wasn’t the reset, and it wasn’t weather nodes as tower siege was affected. Has anyone else noticed this?
I know what Caen is saying. I see these gank groups (DD eles, frenzy/signet GS warriors, P/D and BS thieves with 25 stacks of bloodlust) running around ganking newbs and not accomplishing much. God forbid you guys ever drop a ram or anything.

If you lose a 2v5 and are angry you shouldn’t go grab 10 more people and then camp the spawn because you got embarrassed. You are never going to improve that way if you have to grab x8 the numbers of your opponents everytime you get beaten.

You are mistakenly queuing up for WvW, when you meant to click on sPvP.. I know it can get confusing, there’s a lot of buttons to press. Unless, you’re doing it intentionally, so that you can kill up-levels and people who aren’t spec’ed for sPvP.. in which case i apologize, you guys are amazing.

The idea that a chopped up vid of you pushing people off a cliff would make me mad, is odd. I don’t care about individual fights. Did you hold the tower or not?

The reason no one shows up for fight club is because only kitteny players run around wvw in 1v1 specs.. thinking they’re somehow playing spvp, /laughing while they spam heartseeker..
We caught a CD ranger and his buddy inside the east keep lord room, without any of the gates or walls down.. caught him again on the SE tower trying to kill the lord, anyone recognize him enough to report him to that exploit email address or at least let his guild know what’s going on? I didn’t know a week-long WvW match up could be lost in the first 5 hours on the day of reset. Forgive me, as the score I am looking at – and have been all week – must be a lie.
You missed the point, you lose consistently against similar population fights.. like the ones on Friday night when the queues are full. Here’s why your winning, 50 vs 8 defenders at 1030am EST. It’s hardly your fault you have guilds that want to PvDoor, but you look silly trying to brag about your “victory”.
If you “paid attention” to guild tags you’d see a lack of organized guilds doing anything in WvW at the moment, most are farming for tomorrow’s reset.. you guys should try it, i think I’ve seen one superior siege from CD the entire week.. tho I guess you don’t have to worry about that kind of stuff when your big pushes are against empty borderlands.
It’s amazing how everyone will say “ASIAN 50 MAN ZERG” whenever you take 15 people into someone’s borderlands after 4 AM.
You’re extremely delusional if you think your “success” is anything other then the 50 man zergs during everyone else off-peak hours.
Example: 9am EST 50+ CD zerg shows up at ehmry bay borderland.. wipes all of our upgraded keeps and towers while fighting 10 defenders who had the out-manned buff. To make sure there wasnt even the slighest bit of a fight they even built golems… oh and of course they /laugh at the defenders who were silly enough to be there.
7pm EST 50+ CD zerg shows up at ehmry bay borderland against our 30 defenders.. they get farmed for 4 straight hours, unable to barely take supply camps. We wipe every CD group without effort.. over.. and over.. and over..
If by mad you mean.. we took the entire zone and held it for 12 hours before going to bed, fighting off your morning push of 40 versus our 15 for countless hours until you switched maps because you were tired of being farmed.. then yes.. we were furious..
And yes that was all I meant by stealth-culling exploiting, since I know our server is heavily using this “tactic” as well.
EBay just tried to take our SW supply twice on ET borderlands with their whole zerg. Two times they gave up because about 6 of us kept corpse bombing it and hiding. Ahahahahahahaaha this is way too funny.
We couldn’t get people to leave the supply camp because they were farming badges off of you.
You realize that you all died over.. and over.. and over.. and over, had all your gear broken and gave everyone around 100 badges in order to hold a supply camp that wasn’t supplying anything? Congrats..?
