For me, nothing says there is a new xpac out than a new launcher or a new login screen especially with new music

This is literally a case of the casual majority opressing the hardcore minority. You guys are so not fair. You want everything served with minimal efforts. This is the problem with MMOs these days. Players think they deserve everyting.

Yet another example of people not researching before opening a topic. Anet stated multiple times that raid stories will be taking after the main story and will be side stories.

Do any of you know how raids work? Obiously not.
10 people is a good number. Mainly because it is easy to balance. WoW flex mode is a mess because of scaling

I was really mad as a spirit ranger myself. Even if I trait into more powerful spirits they still get 1 shotted in an AoEs whilst they had some survavibility while they were following me

This is a fantasy game world not a political medium to push agendas.

I have an AMD A10 quad core 2,5ghz with dual graphics and 8gb of ddr3 ram.
I reinstalled windows 8.1,cleaned out my laptop,installed all the new drivers and I’m still getting way worse FPS than I used to.I could pull up to 60fps on high settings in certain areas,now I can barely reach 25 on the lowest setting at any given time.

Kinda makes it frustrating and impossible to play

As a gay male.I sooo do not care for LGBT couples in GW2.Sure it’s nice to see GW2 challenging conventions on this plane too but I would rather see good quality characters than showing ‘diversity’ for the sake of diversity.The characters need to be cohesive with the enviroment rather than just being placed into the story because “muh diversity”

I got it after opening 10 chests.Used it.Weld it once.Now it sits in my bank.3K gold,so close yet so far.

I wasn’t really into the whole chest thing.But I was doing the LS and I opened a random box I found and I got it.Seeing how it was ‘Masterwork’ quality I thought they were common.

I agree,giving some personality to some of the secondary characters would make the story deeper I guess.I mean,they pulled it of with our allies,why woudn’t they be able to do the same with villains.

It happened to me alot aswell.Set your graphic settings to ‘best performance’.It helped me from crashing.Also,if you crash right before Teq gets killed,leave the error window open.While the error window is opened the game still considers you being ingame.

You clearly don’t understand.There simply has to be a piece of content only made for the hardcore audience.If everything is made for everyone there is nothing to strive for.Would you rather have an instanced area where you and your guildies could beat the boss in peace,it might take you days or weeks,but the sensation of achivement after beating it would be amazing or would you rather have new fights in this state,with lag,DCs and OFs.Current fights don’t require any brain power for a random participant,it only requires VoIP and good commanders meaning only a couple of people actually have to put effort in while the rest just tag along for the reward.If it was instanced,people could prepare,disscus strategy,trial and error sort of thing.

Back to the topic of everyone getting everything.You might think if you bought the game you are entitled to play through every piece of content,no you aren’t.This is a game and it requires effort to do certain things just like IRL.Putting effort and time into something makes it only that good when you get it.

But how would you solo PVE said class?

Lornar Pass,the way you start in the mountains and slowly go down the mountain to grassy fields.

Longer paths giving more gold is the best improvement to this day,along with the new champion drops.People skipped those paths because there was no incentive to do them,they just gave the same stuff and the easiest stuff did.Now players will feel extra rewarded for giving more effort

I used a guide to get all the baazar achivements,later I went on a full tour or labyrinthine cliffs,listened and talked to every NPC.Got all the achivs and didint miss any story.

None of the people that went into the castle ever returned,and these elementals dont expire which could mean he traps people souls into these elementals and then releases them into the village.Just my 2 cents

Living story is not ‘Personal Story’. We don’t even know if this living story is set before, during, or after the defeat of Zhaitan. This is a side-quest at most, or else it won’t be fair for the players who haven’t beaten Zhaitan. (and these events allow for upscaling of low level characters, letting new players participate)

Citadel of flame path 1,lots of CoF p1.Also mid tier mats revolve around 50c-1s per piece so they could be pretty profitable too.

I highly suggest you go through these series,Wooden Potatoes goes through events of GW and GW2,I learned most of the lore from him

There are plenty of cool looking armor sets that new players can choose.I think its selfish to ask for something you can’t get immediatly.I think its a great reward for people who played this game longer and players who are dedicated to the game.

In JQ if anyone need the title,they just ask in chat and we let them be first.Easy as that

It is not bugged,at least not for me.You have to use the abilities on a person,using it on nothing doesnt count.Also,did you the port ability?

Bandits?Sell goods?They would rather steal it.You could walk to this portal in the beta,but it would just tell you its beta and you can’t go in.Its a zone for sure but I highly doubt its gonna be in this patch
