Gw2 was just picked up by a professional gaming league and a WvW update is confirmed in February.

You guys will QQ about anything. “Precursors are too hard to get!!!” Anet gives a good chance to get precursors. “I didn’t make 300g!!!”

Only a couple lucky people got dusk or dawn. Even if you didn’t get a precursor the price dropped drastically enough for anyone who had a decent amount of gold to get it. If we complain about getting precursors from this event then it won’t happen again. I’m very happy with the event and btw the 2 exotics I received from the event are still in the TP and total 9g.

Also note the ascended ring isn’t hard to get.

I was just thinking., “What happens when I get a ring with condition damage?” Condition damage is useless for me.

Happened to me too, but I froze which isn’t my fault.

I absolutely hate that if I freeze in FotM, that I can’t rejoin my group and they have to 4 man the fractal.

Used all 3 invites. Dunno if any will actually play though.

I like the idea of tier 0. Just in case you want to buy starter gear again.

I find it funny how some people say the whiners are mistaken as the majority, but you believe your opinion against ascended gear is somehow a majority.

I’m personally happy with the change.

Magnetron complaining about having a precursor is like Bill Gates complaining how he doesn’t like his yacht.

It’s been well known the precursors were going to get a change. Stop complaining.

Can I ask where you farmed?

I have 99% MF without food. So I’m just plain unlucky?

@BabelFish I farmed in Malchor’s Leap south of Dwayna for 45 minutes and didn’t get a single core, let alone a lodestone.

All I want is something for my effort and something to show progress.

The lodestone system can be improved by copying something another MMO did right. Instead of mobs dropping entire lodestones, they would drop “motes”. 10 motes could be made into a single lodestone. In the end, we would receive lodestones at the same rate, but during farming we could clearly see we’re making progress towards our goal.

I know we can combine cores to make lodestones, but I feel that breaking it down further will provide more satisfaction to players. Instead of farming for a fruitless hour, you can see your efforts and progress.

There needs to be another way to get them so +1

You’d probably have 77 if you forged one clover at a time.

I received 1 rare from 6 mystic forge attempts. Lower than what I used to get.

Putting 21 greens into the mystic forge. I’ll let you know how many rares I receive.

People kill them for the loot. Generally not for fun.

My guild is reliable enough, so I don’t have a problem.

Based on the information posted in this thread, we have put 100 greens into the mystic forge and only received 1 rare. We need some more data.

You can argue it hasn’t changed, but you fail to provide details on your results.

With a sample size that small it’s perfectly understandable to have lucky days and unlucky days.

That’s why I brought it to the forum. To get a larger sample size. I’m perfectly happy with getting proven wrong.

Has anyone gotten good luck from doing this?

I have around 125 globs saved up, but if they changed this then it’s not profitable

Usually I would get 2-3 rares from all that making selling the globs worth more than selling all the greens.

Just put 25 greens into the mystic forge and didn’t get a single rare. Is anyone else having this problem or should I avoid buying a lotto ticket today?
