We need more bikini outfits, and we need a re-release of bikini kasmeer mini.
I think I prefer this method since it puts less focus on trying to tag as many mobs as possible. Makes events a lot less stressful imo.
Definitely going to focus on Halloween.
Anyone NOT planning on using the new specs??

They will do it when they are ready to do it.
I prefer them not just being color swaps of each other. Makes them more interesting.
Ok this sounds cool, there may be hope for my warrior after all
Gabriell.4856 is perfectly right.
Medium classes will have simply less testing than the others,
I still don t understand why you don t get it @zalavaaris.
Which classes should have gotten less testing instead?
Skin packs for certain skills would be awesome. Racially themed engi turrets for example.
Luckily I like my ranger as she is, so if the druid completely blows it won’t be that terrible a thing for me.
I would certainly appreciate cast bars on enemies.
heavy bikini armor, and more short skirt light armor.
weapon wise I just want more skins not tied to black lion tickets.
This would be amazing. Particularly if we could get a special inventory that could hold like one or two spare sets of gear that could be switched between at a click out of combat. Would be a very nice QoL feature.
I wish we could get a story as good as the original GW1 campaign. That thing was amazing. Of course GW1 was closer to a real rpg than GW2 is, so I guess that would be asking for a little to much >_>
Gw1 story good ? We must be playing two different game …? Here is how I remember it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxmkAoLC6_4
For all the hater out there you need to remember that you are not the Chosen one you are simply a cog in the machine.
I liked it better than GW2. Also, I never hated Kormir nor do I dislike Trahearne
Not just weapons, I wish we could alter the color of our skills as well. For example changing all of the guardian skills from blue to gold or something. When CoH (one of my favorite MMOs when it was still up) added that option I loved it. Added so much customization to a game that already had so much customization.
I didn’t pick Abaddon because well, I killed him in GW1 so how powerful was he really?
We where only able to with the help of the other gods. Also don’t agree with your lists assertion that certain higher grade enemies shouldn’t be defeatable.
I totally agree with you! The villains in GW1 where definitely an asset. Which is probably why I found EoTN lacking compared to Proph, Factions, NF etc. Like the Elder Dragons, the Great Destroyer was just not a good villain.
I like chronomancer since it finally gives me a class that can do 1h sword + shield in pve without sucking.
Uh… I’m going to assume the people here heaping praise on GW1’s story haven’t actually played it in 10 years,
Played it all again just before GW2 came out actually while I was doing stuff for HoM
Prophecies has no character development whatsoever.
True, granted GW2 is not much better until you actually get to the LS
Your own character is no better. You have no choices in what you do.
I hate half-baked main characters. I would rather have no choice than half-baked choice. Nothing I do in the GW2 PS makes any real difference outside of race and order selection. Even then those don’t mean anything after a certain point. That is another way that LS2 was better in that it was completely linear. If my choices aren’t going to have lasting impact then don’t even bother.
Maybe it’s the fact that Trahearne is actually a stable, consistent character that people don’t like.
Actually, I like Trahearne.
Maybe that’s what people don’t like, they don’t like the thought of being ranked beneath a guy….
Again I really don’t mind this part. I prefer it actually since it allows my character to have more freedom to go and do what has to be done.
GW1 had an awesome story to me. It was sparse and crappy in places, but it was the best mmo story I had ever played through, and the linearity was a big part of it. Also, GW2’s story feels very disjointed to me. In GW1 (at least in Factions and Nightfall, but still true for Proph if you didn’t skip ahead to much) you where limited in how far you could go without doing the story. In GW2 you can go all the way to Orr without ever touching the PS.
There is also the fact that renown hearts and DEs are a kitten poor replacement for traditional quests imo for story telling purposes. There is no coherence when you can come in half way through a DE chain and complete it without any idea of what is actually going on, and it is incredible easy to accidently complete a heart without being able to talk to the heart person. Not to mention most hearts are so bare bones as to be pointless.
Difference of opinion sure, but I just don’t care for GW2s story or story telling compared to GW1.
…
Also, a large part of players are complaining about how easy and casual this game is,….No, a tiny fraction of the tiny amount of players that come to this forum were complaining. The vast majority was having fun with the game as it is.
This. I honestly found a lot of the older content plenty challenging enough.
I like exploration. I like it even better when there are varied maps. In fact, I like exploration more than the dynamic events, and certainly a lot more than event maps like SW or VB.
I wish we could get a story as good as the original GW1 campaign. That thing was amazing. Of course GW1 was closer to a real rpg than GW2 is, so I guess that would be asking for a little to much >_>
The new map is fun, when you’re in a group. Unless you hop onto a zerg it can be a real pain getting through the map safely. Even with jump mushrooms and gliding.
Hopefully we get some peaceful, casually playable zones.
I think the mobs could be toned down a bit.
I think I could like this class a little better if weapon skills didn’t cost energy. Hell, the whole energy system sucks, but they would never change it.
I too would like more clarification on this system. Ran around trying to do events, and I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting anything.
The snipers normal attacks definitely need to be nerfed
This new zone is definitely not fun right now >_>
of course, a weekend of fun.
Depending on how the new map reward system works, I say bring it on
I’m pretty sure we should get at least ONE new set of armor. Hopefuly more but at least one.
I am most interested in testing out the new map reward system. I will most likely just be playing Rev (to try out new traits and changes from last time) and Reaper.
I don’t care about Tempest (I don’t like ele), but I may try out DH and Chronomancer after I’ve had my fill of reaper and rev.
Post a pic of a mini you would like in HoT :)

I just want them to bring bikini Kasmeer back.
This is one of the reasons why I pretty much shelved my necro outside of crafting (she is my cook/jeweler). Looking forward to trying out Reaper though.
If I where to guess, the white wings will probably be back around wintersday, and black wings (don’t long in for one fricken day >_>) will be back around halloween.
…congrats? If you hate the game so much now how about you find a game your like better?
I always found it absurd that anyone believed there would only be one map.
Because I don’t care for PvP or WvW.
Way too many people making a huge fuss when we haven’t even seen the weapon in action yet. Good god this game has a lot of whiny people.
Race you want to see in the next BWE as Rev?

shrug doesn’t matter to me since I will be sticking with my human.
Hopefully this one does get fixed. Button mashing was not fun. Nice to know I wasn’t the only one.
Here’s hoping for dual sword
Main reason I never bother with pre events is because it is a pain in the kitten trying to tag mobs depending on your class.
Agreed. Norn women are much, much better looking than humans for sure.
The exact opposite here, I find all but one of the Norn women bodies undesirable.
1) There is no “muscle” texture (similar to the Norn).
.
You can give your character a six pack
incomplete and potential
I look forward to playing the class again when all of the lines and weapons are complete.
I will finally start playing my necro more with greatsword. My mesmer may switch one of her slots from sword/pistol to sword/shield. I will need to see druid before I decide if I will give her a staff. My guardian probably wont change, not sure.
This, so much. Also allowing build templates would make it even better.
