Next time don’t be such an entitled brat.
I agree with you. Any time I hear people crying for harder content all I hear is “I want exclusive content only I can do, screw everyone else”
I only ever use angels, dolls, and models. I couldn’t stand playing an ugly character.
I voted for Graidy as well
Uh….you can easily gain multiple levels a day in this game. Try complaining after playing a game where a single level can take ages to complete.
I’m throwing my money at the screen but nothings happening
Next time log in during the LS.
Id say this game is plenty challenging enough.
These are my girls here.
Nice. What is the chest armour the far right girl is wearing?
Looks like the gem store outfit Rainment of the Lich.
Yep, just wish I had noticed when they had that day the wings where for sell….I hope they put that back up for sell some time BEFORE next Halloween.
Whatever the case, the RNG system is flawed and needs to be fixed so everyone has an equal chance. If it was truly random, the majority of portal winners would not be repeatedly be getting multiple portals.
A truly random system will contain clusters and repeats.
Not ONLY. The majority of my characters are human females, but I do have a couple non-humans for lore/story purposes.
Anyone who doesn’t think rifle or pistol wouldn’t work for Guardian go look up some Warhammer 40k stuff >:3
As much as I would love to get into the beta, there is no way Im going to completely burn myself out trying to farm it. I already had enough of this place getting my coat boxes and mordrem parts, so anymore than a couple runs a day is too much >_>
It is purely for the money. Any time you tie an RNG to the cash shop it is to milk as much money from the customer as possible. The smarter option, and the one players would prefer, would just be to make these skins straight cash shop purchases, but that wouldn’t make them as much money so of course they wouldn’t do that.
I don’t have any right now, but my plan is to have one of each class human, and then have at least one of each other race, so there will definitely be some overlap.

Your example is real world theft. This is just a game. example is invalid.
Ah, good point. So if my character could access your bank and pull stuff out of it, that would be all right. Why don’t we pretend?
You send me a couple dozen ecto. You can just suck it up and go farm and salvage some more rares.
Why does this in any way relate to the topic at hand?

It wont be that hard to get the other hero points you need. You won’t need map completion to do it, so just suck it up and do it.
I see. So I can come over to your house and walk off with your monitor, and you’ll be fine?
After all, it’d only be a couple days of work to earn back the money to buy a new one. You can just suck it up and do it.
Your example is real world theft. This is just a game. example is invalid.
….>_> There are actually people who find this a problem?
The only people hurt by the changes are those who rushed through, leveling only through dungeons or WvW, and never once did anything on the PvE maps. You don’t even need to complete the maps, just do the skill challenges and you are set. Easy as pie.
They need to bring back class specific dance animations.

Disagree, suck it up and do the skill challenges.
I actually like Trahearne.
I do not run full zerker, and I never will.
I never use sword on my ranger.
I play female characters, I make them at cute as possible, and I make them wear revealing armor. I also wish there was more bikini armor.
Even though I have been playing since launch I still don’t have a legendary or ascended armor.
I play PvP even though I suck at it, and I don’t care if I’m hindering my group because of it.
I think people who believe that certain items (like legendaries) should be rare and exclusive are idiots.
I think people who complain that the game is too easy are elitist scumbags.
No. This would be a terrible idea.
Changing "We don't rez the dead" mentality.

Sorry, but no. If you are fully dead you should WP. Only downed players should be revived, and selfish idiots who refuse to WP also make it harder to res downed players when they are all lumped together.
Mesmers have a trait that gives their illusions distortion on creation, so you should at least be able to get the phantasms initial attack off before they die.
Most likely human.
Some more sexy armor is always welcome.
Yes.
I am a PVE player who rarely if ever does pvp, so any boost to make scepter a more useable weapon is a good thing. As it stands now scepter has no clear use in pve. Confusion is a poor condition to use alone given the infrequency of enemy attacks, and the torment from #2 is so situational (easy to mess up, and given that once illusions are out they tend to take aggro more than you do) that it can’t really be considered a reliable way of applying torment. If the point of the scepter is to be a condi weapon then another condition is a necessity.

If you are in it for trying to make a profit then id say no it is not worth the trouble. If you are actually in it for being able to craft stuff for yourself then yes I would say it is worth it. If you are in no hurry then don’t buy anything from the TP for 1-400 since just doing regular map completion will net you all the mats you ever need. Even for 400-500 it is not worth buying stuff off the TP unless you are in a real hurry.
I got kicked out of my guild, but the friends I made from that few days was worth it. You don’t know what it’s like to hear “Oh crap. Poetik is here.” on servers you aren’t even on.
You are truly the Hero of Orr.
This kind of thing is basically what my trolling amounts to as well. Purposefully completing events other people want to fail.
You people complain too much.
I’ve opened at least 150+ chests so far, and gotten zero. Am I complaining? No. For two reasons:
1. What’s the rush? The chests have good loot, so I’m going to be farming them anyways. Just because I don’t have a weapon now, doesn’t mean I wont get one later. It’s not a big bother, nor’ do I lose any money trying. (Quite the contrary, chests are quite profitable…)
2. RNG adds a much needed flavour to RPGs like Guild Wars 2, and were long missing since the days of Guild Wars 1. Yes, you reading it right: GW2 needs more RNG. It needs the satisfaction of opening a chest and getting that rare item drop, or at least the excitement of trying for one.
Settle down, Beavis.
There is no rush. its a matter of wanting to know that you will actually be able to get it. I’m fine with working towards something that will take time to get, but its when you don’t even know if you will ever get it that is the problem.
I, for one, do wish to see more underwater stuff.
In regards to this thread, there is no “Wet Bottom”. Dry Top was the name of a dry plateau in GW1.
That was a joke son. You missed it. Flew right by ya.
I don’t understand why everyone wants everything to be instanced. It sort of takes away the point of being an MMO, doesn’kitten
Guild Wars did just fine that way.
Things like you mentioned with coming into Dynamic events half way through are part of the reason I gave up on this games story back at launch. Now I honestly don’t care what they do story wise to this game. I would have definitely preferred the game staying instanced like GW.
Honestly I figured she would die the moment she appeared in the first mission. I stopped caring about characters in this game after they kept killing them off in the personal story.
Ascended Jewelry, however, has long been talked about, but doesn’t seem likely to enter the game, as that has always been the big time-gated piece that forces guilds to run Guild Missions, even if they’d rather do something else.
If that is the case then why do we have
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Xunlai_Electrum_Ingot
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crystalline_Ingot
I don’t know about you but those clearly look like jewelry ingredients to me.
Just buy them from the trainers. This is exactly how it was in Guild Wars. At least with GW2 you don’t have to wait till some end game zone to find the skill trainer who has the skill you wanted. Buy just the traits you want and then leave the rest for regular unlocking.
This happens to me as well even when I have all the sounds muted.
My guild was able to do it with flawless defense the other day.
I would buy Kasmeers swimsuit without hesitation
I never used bear while I was leveling. I use Greatsword/Longbow with Cat/Dog or Cat/Drake. I love my cat, that thing can go toe to toe against champs and stay up for a long time before I am forced to switch.
Subdirector Blingg: “Citizens!”
I actually found this dungeon to be rather enjoyable. I usually hate dungeons, but this one I went through four times with my guild. Even the boss eventually got easier. My first time doing it, we wiped easily 10-15 times. The next day however, my group did it without wiping once. The next two runs after that only had one wipe each.
No, it could very well happen. They have plenty of skins in this game that fit one class that uses the weapon but not another. So in a future expansion or something that gives us new skins, we could get some different looking weapons.
I fully support soloable story modes.
“hardcore dungeon master”
because hard content is only for hardcore players…
i’m pretty sure most people enjoy challenges in games
And I am not one of those people. If anything I prefer it when they make things easier, not harder.
I found it difficult enough on my 35 or so warrior. Id be perfectly fine if they kept it right where it was.
It is the absurd random chance of a lot of these things that pisses me off with things like this. I’m fine with grinding so long as I know I will get the item I seek. My favorite ways of getting an item are a steady grind (think zcoins from the first game) or some kind of long quest reward, such as the tokens you would get after completing a campaign in the original GW.
