Firstly Necromancer is not the only class to “suffer” from this. When you use any transformation such as Death/Reaper Shroud or any in this list http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Transform it removes your own skills to be replaced by the transformations skills. No signet on bar = No passive so its intended.

So… maybe i’m a bit late to the party but i just noticed well of power no longer pulses stability like it should, and instead gives one stack which lasts for about a second and then proceeds to be useless… well it’s not that condition>Boon conversion is useless but stability is a hell of a lot more useful and without reaper spec that’s the only source of stability you’ve got short of popping an elite or taking FitG which is still also only one stack. So, when did this happen, was it documented, and did they give any reason for doing it?

Its never pulsed stability. The reason for it having a single stack is the same as warriors stomp skill. Its a stunbreak with a cast time so that one stability is there to cover the casting time so you dont get CCed out of your stunbreaking skill.

The way I see that could be attempted to fix the watchwork pick issue would be to change how unlimited gathering tools work.

Make it so all currently owned gathering tools are changed to no animation unlimited tools visually identical to the tools bought from merchants and also make this the default unlimited tool bought in the gemshop for around 600 gems.

Then they sell gathering tool skins which would be things like the the watchwork animation and the O-Tron robots each of which would be 400 gems or so.
Of course owners of the item before the change would get the skin unlocked for free.
These skins would be able to be changed at will for no charge like switching an outfit.

They could then sell something in the gemshop that adds “infusions” to tools you could switch like selecting the skin allowing them a small chance to gather a material on use. Watchwork pick owners would receive a watchwork infusion unlock for free.
Example materials could be Watchwork sprockets, Geodes, Candy corn and maybe even items like slivers of the different types Charged, Destroyer and such.

Personally I much like the OP would love to use different tools but have a hard time giving up the possible 3 silver on each rock I mine. I know I would buy alot more of the skins I like the look of if I didn’t feel like I would lose potential money with every swing.

Sadly I know this would be alot of work so im not hopeful but I would like it.

Blaze breaker - No line of sight

The warrior torch 4 skill blaze breaker gives an no line of sight warning and refuses to fire if you are not exactly facing your targeted foe.
It also will not cause your character to turn around to face the foe if used while standing still as most if not all other skills do.

It appears this minor trait from discipline will cause any burst skills currently recharging from use to have an additional second added to the recharge timer when you go from the not usable version of the burst skill to the 10 adrenaline level 1 burst.

Example – Combustive shot has 4 seconds left to recharge and I use signet of fury then recharge timer will increase to 5 seconds.

This bug only appears when traited with Versatile Power and going from 0-9 adrenaline to 10 adrenaline and “unlocking” the first level burst. It does not appear to trigger on the change from level 1 into 2 burst or the 2 into 3 changes.

Taunt effects get stuck if you are taunted while you have the resistance boon active.
Even after the resistance or taunt effects have ended it will normally bug out until the affected person dies at which point they are free to attack anyone again.
By your screenshot you have mallyx who has access to resistance and the warrior could easily have the taunt trait so I believe this is most likely what happened.

Every leap finisher can only interact with 1 field it total. Example. If you were to leap from a fire field to a dark field you would only get the effects of fire aura and ignore the blind from the dark field.

As for the burst I like the idea of multiple rings as if fired into a group of 20+ I hope each ring would have its own 3 or 5 man targeting limit so I can spread burning around more than just one large ring with the 5 man limit.

Also the fact that shield of absorption doesn’t count as a block for projectiles is kinda BS.

Maybe there is a hidden 1s cooldown?

Well shield of absorption absorbs projectiles so no issue there.

As for the trait look in the top right of it with the circle and arrow with the number one that shows it has a one second cooldown so not that hidden.

If you look just right of the ghost mini on the 5th row you can see the tiger icon or you can go ingame and see it yourself.
Also paul minis in the selected box dont change if you dont have the mini unlocked.
As for how to unlock it I guess wait for the next gemshop update?
Oh and also the mini tiger is about half as high as my max size sylvari so maybe it really is that size to an asura.

Has she tried opening any orrian chests on a different character on her account or were they all attempted by the same one?
If it was the same one i would suggest attempting one with a different character.

I had this happen to me for about 20 or so jumping puzzles. I thought it was just bad luck as people told me it wasn’t a 100% thing. I found that upon switching character i could receive them again.
So my question to you is have you tried a jumping puzzle on another character on your account as you might have been affected by a bug as i was.

It sounds very possible as you said fractals that the downed player was under the effects of agony.
Agony reduces all healing while active and as warbanner heals a downed player enough to revive them it can be reduced enough to appear to do nothing.

Having said that i have seen a situation in which warbanner wont revive a downed player in the circle but that was due to a server sync issue making the player appear to be in a different location.

On April the 15th we got the wardrobe update that unlocks skins for armour and weapons to be account wide.
This update included outfits.
In order to claim them back you must visit a Black Lion Trader (Armorsmith).
The positive thing of this is now it can be toggled on and off and remains in combat.

While i have not done this myself you should be able to update each ticket sent with a statement like “Please close this ticket due to duplicate tickets being sent” leaving only one ticket still active.

Sending multiple tickets only slows down response times and can cause your tickets to be moved to the back of the queue.
I would advise closing all tickets except one and not to send anymore.
As for the issue of 4 days you could try posting in the three days or more thread after removing the duplicate tickets.

Depending on how often he went down he could have just thrown a http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Toss_Elixir_R under himself.
Elixer R looks like a large mist aoe and would give him 17% downed health per second for up to 10 seconds so it would resemble the rangers skill in healing.

Thank you, Dan, I will try that to fix the display issue. Did you have mail or gem store issues, too? Wondering if leaving and rejoining my guilds will fix the other two problems.

Luckily for me i had no such mail or store issues during my name change period but as i look at it does sound like the “double” name problem would be the root of all this so if that was solved i would be fairly confident the other issues would disappear too.

Unfortunately i cant think of any more information at the moment that could help but i wish you good luck on solving this.

I had this same issue with a display name change and the guild lists not updating.

The solution i found was to fully leave all of my guilds and then rejoin them as it seemed to force the game to update the name and i have not had any issues with it since.

I know this could be annoying if you had alot of guilds but i would recommend trying it at least once it as it appeared to fully solve my issue.

Just remember to keep names listed down if you try this to ask people to re-invite you to the guilds.

Oh and if you have a single person bank guild please don’t leave it as it will remove itself and all items you might have left in it and i really don’t wish to be blamed for something like that happening.

passive & active Berserker Stance can counter that. Also BP costs 6 initiative and when you spam it, you won’t be doing much else. LB burst also easily counters the field by removing blind every second.

Whats this passive blind counter you say about? Also longbow field only triggers once every 3 seconds to possibly remove the blind.

Gap “closers” are totaly fine and needed on a class that’s designed to fight in melee range, but being able to run like 1600 units with Rush + Swiftness (1200 base range + 33%) in the blink of an eye is probably not what the skill was meant for. And that’s without Whirlwind and potentially Bull’s Rush.

I feel the same way about thieves when they turn and do 5 heart seekers away from me followed by a SR. Im not sure thats how heart seeker was intended to be used.

So im guessing you tried to jump into the hay while not in the story mission.
The goggles at the top of the airship wreck require you to aim for the small pool of water at the lowest area of ground level. If you try again i would advise trying to get swiftness before using the goggles as it can make avoiding the wooden beams during the fall a lot easier.
The hay is only used in the story mission achievement.

Well vs a mesmer the main 3 reasons would be the invul as nick said or reflections and projectile destructions from feedback or the warden which would either fling the fire back at you but not make a field (Can be hard to notice in a fight) or just remove it and give you the cooldown.

Speaking of combustive shot bugs tho i think the range bug has reappeared where if the shot is fired at max range and you move backwards the shot will “fall” out of the sky short by how far back you moved.
Im fairly sure this was fixed and i only seem to have noticed it come back in the last week or so.

Well all i can think of is maybe when you normally fight a boss like this you have either a smaller less dangerous enemy running around that would hit you at low health triggering it or the boss might be using a multiple hit attack causing it to trigger. If this was a high level fractal or depending on the boss going from 70% to downed could be quite normal so i dont see an issue there.

So are you saying you had 40% then got hit for 5k and it didnt activate and stop the 5k hit?
The trait version of endure pain doesnt work that way. It activates when you are next hit while under 25%.
So if you were at 40% and got hit to go under 25% or if conditions dropped your health to under 25% then the next hit would activate it. If you dont get hit by an attack then it would never activate.
It also wont trigger if you say got hit from 26% to downed state.
If this isnt what you meant then sorry but i dont quite understand.

I used to have this issue and finally fixed it by going into my mail and deleting every single one of them. npc, player and game messages then asking my guild members to send me one message each until it said i had 10.
I would say its worth a try unless theres any messages you have that you really want to keep and couldnt bear getting rid of.
Oh and dont forget to empty any messages of items or money before deleting. (Not sure if its possible but i dont want to be blamed for anything disappearing)

As i understand it for those achievements you have to purchase one set of tier1 tier 2 and tier 3 armour for each race of any of the weight requirements.

So for example in the human one i could get t1 light then t2 heavy and t3 medium for that title. Buying t1 light, heavy and medium would only unlock the t1 part of the achievement so that you cant just spend the smallest amount of money on it.
So as i see it what Deltor has done is unlock t2 then tried to buy another t2 which wouldnt give any more progress to the title and is not bugged in anyway just not very well explained.
Oh and also it should just become unlocked upon purchase so the level requirement shouldnt matter for the title.

Doesnt improvisation only give the damage bonus to bundles you use?
And in the image he still seems to be holding the feathers from stealing off the thief (not that they do damage anyway) and anyway if it was a bundle then he couldnt do a backstab while holding it.

And they thought 1 shot backstab was nerfed.

Traits 66002 with 3 signets all giving 5 might each and exposed weakness triggering off the previous attacks conditions and dagger training with revealed training.
The target had no armour/amulet but covered that by wearing the costume and you attacked from behind.
Am i right?

Is it possible you shot those skills into a reflecting area like feedback or on to a blocking or invulnerable enemy?
I know if ive fired those shots onto a blocking or invulnerable enemy it will just remove the projectile and start the cool down as the skills did successfully fire just not land.

As a baseline, anything that makes you immune to certain mechanisms without any form of counterplay to it should not count towards capture point contribution. Be it stances, ranger signets (yes i know, we need 6 points in marks to get invuln on 80 sec CD, but my point still stands), engi elixirs, stealth, camouflage (Hide in Plain Sight) or some other ridiculous function.

What about dodges and evade skills?

Currently you can contest points with Endure Pain up though really you shouldn’t be able to do so considering other forms of invulnerability (Mist form, Renewed Focus, Distortion, Elixer S) and stealth do not allow you to contest points..

Unless im mistaken those skills also don’t allow warriors to gain adrenaline or other professions to trigger certain traits by hitting while endure pain even with the other two stances active still only count as 3 different immunities not an invulnerability.

Have you tried removing burst mastery in your tests?
Ive been doing tests since my last message and i cant get any combos to interrupt me except when i active the burst mastery trait.
It seems in all my tests the key is burst mastery and the sigils together as if i use just fire and air sigils i get no bug. If i use just burst mastery i have no bug.
Edit: Only thing i can think it might be is would it be possible the sigil triggering is adding 1 strike of adrenaline and causing issues when burst mastery is trying to calculate the adrenaline refund making the game think you don’t have enough for the second burst skill mid use and causing the interrupt? (Not sure if that’s even possible but its the only thing i can think of.)

I’m not 100% sure about this but could it be the act of your adrenaline dropping to 1 bar while the axe burst is starting that’s causing this?
Ive had it before when ive been aiming an earthshaker and my adrenaline goes up a bar it will force me to re click the skill as the icon appears to flip to the new damage and stun stats.

Looking at your video in the slow motion section it does appear that the burst is stopped at the exact second your adrenaline drops to a single bar. You can even see the axe burst icon flipping at the last second as the icon goes black.
While in the normal faster part you walk a bit as the fire field is dropped and only start the axe burst after the adrenaline has readjusted so im fairly certain this is the cause of it.
You also fired it a further distance in the bug attempt so the adrenaline didn’t drain as fast as the fire field had further to travel before triggering.

I find that if the quickness doesn’t last the entire duration of the stomp from start to dead player then it seems to have an instant effect and can cause the bar to still have to fill from 85-100% before the kill is awarded.
Does the quickness you use run out during the stomping animation?
Ive managed to do multiple quickness finishes with no issues as long as the quickness lasts the whole faster stomp animation.

Bring it back in line with all other weapon traits and have Merciless Hammer with either a 10% or 5% increase or maybe even a +Attribute instead. Just recharge reduction alone is good enough on a weapon that has stunlock potential built into it (1/2 of its skills).

So if you want to bring it back in line can we assume that the disabled foe requirement would be removed to become an always active 10%?

So if i go to delete a character it says on the window that opens that it will cause me to lose all items in the inventory and character based unlocks.

So does anyone know what is considered a character based unlock.

Im not sure and i dont want to delete it if it may cause me to lose something i could never get back.

It’s a blast finisher already. No skill in the game is both a field and a a finisher. Not to mention Earthshaker is already an incredibly good skill.

Well necro does have foul current which is both a poison field and a leap finisher in the same skill and thieves do get black powder shot as a smoke field and projectile finisher.

But i have to agree with flissy that ES is already great and just adding the possibilty of warrior combo stealth with all the leaps and blasts might cause people to think warrior is getting op

^ Cyclone axe (axe 2) is also a whirl finisher but dont last long. Try using both in a combo field and surely you will see the difference.

From the sounds of this you seem to have not tested it as whirling axe is still a bugged whirl finisher and will only throw out one bolt at the end of the attack. I have just before writing this message tested it in pve, pvp and wvw and received the same results each time.

Warriors have nothing to complain about. Have you SEEN the offhand axe Ranger skill 5? Thought not. Also, damage-buffing Warriors, whether it would make them OP or not (even though every other profession knows warriors are OP anyway) should be the last thing on the devs’ priorities list right now.

I have seen that skill and i feel that not being able to move while channeling it is fair considering it stacks vulnerability, gives you retaliation and reflects projectiles compared to whirling axe which gives nothing except damage.

Toxic Seedlings that give Mushed Spore Samples appear with their name as a blank space both while looking at them and when hovering over them with the mouse on the minimap. The Seedlings that give Pristine Toxic Spore Samples still display a name and the Toxic Seedlings that spawn when a creature with Toxic Corruption dies or are spawned from the Toxic Outcast event don’t display a name but still give the Pristine Spore Sample. Has this happened to anyone else or has my game simply decided it wanted to make my collecting easier?

Skills – Burst skill – 1 second cast time – Single shot inflicts weakness, cripple and 5 stacks of vulnerability. (4/6/8 seconds)

Skill 1 – Single shot – 0.5 second cast time – Fire once. Does 10% more damage to targets with 3+ stacks of vulnerability.

Skill 2 – Piercing bullet – 0.5 Second cast time – Inflict 3 stacks of vulnerability on target for 5 seconds. Recharge 7 Seconds.

Skill 3 – Hook – 0.75 Second cast time – Throw hook at target slowing them for 5 seconds by 25% if it hits. Recharge 20 Seconds.

Skill 3-2 – Pull – 0.25 Second cast time – Pull target towards you.

Trait – Crack shot also affects Pistol Skills.

Pin down is my only problem. The animation isn’t clear enough and its projectile speed is to fast making it impossible to dodge if you aren’t at max range. If they make it slower and clearer animation and reduce the bleeding damage it would be a lot more balanced

While i agree with the idea of the animation not being all too clear i wonder how you would make it clearer to others. I feel that it being the only skill that fires a single arrow (That is not on fire or that trails smoke) makes it quite easy to notice anyway. And as for the speed of it i find it to be unreliable at connecting with anything over 600 distance. (Possibly due to obstructed arrows and out of range bugs)

I disagree with your idea about balancing the skill by reducing the bleeding damage of the skill along with making the skill harder to hit with as i feel this would be too much.

An achievement after hunter gatherer

We have the salvage master achievement for salvaging 500 items that then leads into agent of entropy and we can repeat that as much as we want.

Can we get another achievement to follow on from hunter gatherer in the same way as agent of entropy so for every 200 plants, ores or logs gathered we get a little ding and a few achievement points?

While i do feel that getting the time needed to activate the skill does seem far too long (So many times killed with vengeance needing 0.3 seconds more) it does give you access to all the skills and weapons you had before so its alot easier to rally at that point than any other class.

Vengeance should return us back to downed state when time expires, and rally when we kill someone, cd dropped a bit to have at least chance to use that. Sweet vengeance alone is a joke.

While i like this idea it would make sweet vengeance feel a little useless. Maybe the trait could give us some boons or a stance while we have vengeance active.

About the second skill hammer throw my idea would be changing it to a kick sort of skill launching foes a short distance in a cone area around where the warrior is facing.
