Have tried killing him 4 times. The skritt is not spawning that’s supposed to drop the cog.

Opened the Trading Post and this is what I saw, game crashed to desktop a couple of seconds later.

Go to wayfarer foothills north end, the big spikey area and kill guys there, that’s where I got mine for that one.

Can confirm this spot. I killed about 10-15 and got it.

Activity

We usually hover around 450 members. We do not require 100% representation, but we do keep an eye on it and try to incorporate members that will represent us most of their game time. Exceptions include personal banks, PvP and WvW. We make an active effort to contact non-representers to ensure that anyone that really wishes to be in the guild can stay. Typically we keep a 3 to 4 week inactivity timer. If we remove inactives we send them an ingame mail with the option to return to the guild.

We are mainly a PvE guild, but we do a bit of everything;

- Fractals; Daily runs of each tier
- Dungeons; Daily runs of most explorable paths available
- Guild Missions; Sundays all missions, Wednesdays Bounty and Rush
- Karka Queen every Sunday after missions
- Weekly Trivia Contests
- Weekly Hide & Seek
- Weekly Races
- Monthly Lottery; Alternating between a cash prize and a precursor
- We are really really really looking forward to Raiding
- We hold quarterly events and give away prizes such as cash shop credit/items, end game crafting materials and rare weapon/armor skins

We are on EU-Gandara and use TeamSpeak.

I have the same issue. It even happens when people leave my party, not just when I leave a party. Happens after leaving home instances, dungeons, taxi’ing… most frustrating bug I’ve ever encountered.

I was having the same problem but than i started clicking around the white space on the gw window, it looks like the “Play” button is there but not visible, once i hit it by accident the game started, try clicking around it, at one point it even took me to the reset password page.

I can confirm this.

I clicked randomly in the white area and eventually hit the invisible button and was able to play.

I didn’t have to move any of my SweetFX files to get this to work.

In my guild roster there is a stream of users (who have been active within the last month) that are listed last online over 136 years, 2 months, 1 week ago. Every time I open the guild roster the account name of the person offline for 136 years changes to a different account name. The “stream of users” is only 1 user at a time, but it is a different member every couple of minutes.

Thank you for your sympathy lol… I had just done golem, fire ele, and maw. I was salvaging all of the rares that I got from them. I didn’t even realise it was in my bags until it was too late.

Leaf of Kudzu isnt a rare, it’s an exotic.

I never salvage anything orange until i look at it and check how much it’s worth on the tp. I recommend you do similar in future.

I have the rarity turned on in my bags, but to be honest… when you have an exotic sitting in the middle of 5 or 6 other rares, you can’t tell the difference easily.

Why must we confirm deletion on “Hall of Monuments Portal Stone” and Finishers, but not on Precursors? It seems extremely overkill to have it on a worthless, easily replaceable item like the portal stone, but not on some of the most expensive items in game.

Today, somehow, I accidentally salvaged the Leaf of Kudzu in my bags which is worth roughly 480-600g.

I’ve written a support ticket and can hopefully get it back and included the time it happened… but seriously, it shouldn’t be able to happen without typing the name in.

Goes to a “Page not found” from the in game link on the Trading Post and the Black Lion Vendor doesn’t show any discounts.

I haven’t seen one of these threads in a long time and I tried searching for them, but didn’t find anything so I’m asking again…

Where are the amazing game functionalities that we had with GW1?

1 – Full UI Customization.

2 – Inactivity timers for guild members.

3 – Guild Message of the day pushed to member’s chat at log-in.

4 – Skill resets when zoning. We lose the boons even if they have +20 seconds left on zoning, but not a 15 sec cool down on a skill?

5 – Date joined on hover over a member name.

6 – Ability to see ping in game.

GW2 is based off of a modified GW1 engine… so I don’t understand why these functionalities were removed in the first place. They were a vital part of what made GW1 such a great game.

I’d like to know if we’ll ever see these features again, if they’re being worked on or if we should just give up hope.

It sounds like Grey DeLisle to me… but I’m not 100% sure.

Just did Hybrid for the 2nd time, no one died during the encounter, no one got credit for the achievement. So even though it’s not bugged to unlock it… it is bugged to get credit.

Not sure about having to do it a second time to complete the achievement but I did it solo and 1 of the npcs did die but was ressed by the other npc and I did not get the achievement, so I guess that COULD mean that the npcs count as party members.

I don’t have a Sylvari anymore. I deleted mine because it was dull looking etc. Even tho some people might not see it, but most of the pictures look better after than before. And i do not mean that in a offensive way, I am just saying that the “after” look is more glowy and colorful. That should of been done at the beginning and I wouldn’t have deleted mine :/

I guess that’s your opinion… but obviously the people who play Sylvari and bought the armor bought it because it looked a way that they liked and they are unhappy with these changes because it takes away from the detail. The after looks are more glowy, but they are definitely not more colorful, just brighter. There are less colors in all of the after pictures. They look as if you’ve turned the contrast up too high on your monitor.

Furthermore… this armor has been in the game for a year. You shouldn’t change it at all… You completely wasted the time and effort of everyone who got it for what it used to look like… I had enough trouble getting this armor to begin with and now I don’t even want to wear it any more.

I feel like I have much less control now. The glow has completely taken over an area on the T3 Light Sylvari chest that was affected by dye and now it’s impossible to match the chest with my armor set up. Since beta I haven’t heard anyone in my guild or on my server ever complain about the glow on the Sylvari armor… I feel like these changes are a waste of time and effort that should have been spent elsewhere.

+1 from me. I’ve got 1 of each class well over level 20. This item is completely useless to over half the people I know in game… and now we have 2 of them.

I’m Dav. I’ve been playing GW since 2007 and I’ve been with TIG / TKT the entire time. Our community was formerly known as The Imperial Guards [TIG] alliance in GW1, founded by Amadrus X. We downsized in preparation for the GW2 launch by recreating our community and became the TKT Gaming community.

We’ve been on Gandara since day 1 and have reached the 500 member guild cap several times. Every other month we do an inactivity check for inactive players and have recently opened up 150 additional spaces. We’ve got over 300 active members every 1 to 2 weeks and maintain most boosts (Karma, Magic Find, Experience, Gold Boosts, Gathering)

Sunday/Wednesday/Saturday- All Guild Missions starting at approx 19:00 GMT
Wednesday – WvW after missions
Thursdays – Orr Event farming
Fridays – Hide & Seek
Saturdays – JP races

We also hold a monthly precursor lottery with the drawing live on twitch, as well as an additional bi-weekly guild bank lottery.

We use Ventrilo for voice comms, have our own radio, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and YouTube channels.

Req’s? Have fun. We’re pretty laid back, but courteous and respectful. We treat our members the way we want to be treated in game. We welcome all classes, levels and players. If you would like to discuss joining, please give myself a whisper or any of the following officers;

I’ve seen other suggestions about making the message of the day editor a bit more user friendly, enabling Guild Leaders to push the message out to their members, etc…

My suggestion is that the guild message of the day should be automatically displayed in the chat interface for the guild you’re representing when you log in as it did in GW1. And/or be pushed in to your chat box when you swap representation.

It’s definitely a way to help guilds push information and was one of the best features in GW1 for the guilds. Now with a cap of 500 members per guild, ensuring that it displays when they represent/log in would be a great way to make sure that any vital information is passed along and that members won’t forget to check it.
