What T5 server are you talking about CD or IoJ both got their WvW population destroyed by being in T3.
Be that as it may there’s still a whole Texas kitten load more of them than there are of us. They outnumber us AND have better coverage yet we still remain competitive. I am kitten proud of SoR.
What a load of bull. You guys have similar coverage and numbers. Why do you think the scores are so close? Don’t tell me you actually think it’s because of skill? Some SoR guy mentioned they queued 3 maps last week on reset. Last time CD and IoJ saw anything close to a 3 map queue was during the tournament before both servers’ guilds jumped onto the T2 bandwagon. Interesting tidbit. Mag with a 3 map reset queue absolutely steamrolled both CD + Ebay and would have crushed IoJ too if they were in the same matchup.
Can we change it so that WvW players do not need to do PvE map completion for the sake of getting legendaries?
It may be one sided but the fact that you guys are doing better than NSP means you guys belong in the mess that is T3 now. DH also belongs there instead of NSP.
Tier 4 – 7 hasn’t seen a queue in a year even 30mins after reset.
Every server in T4 and T5 has seen a queue outside of reset.
TBH Server loyalty is the primary reason T3 is as broken as it is. Server loyalty is the problem right now. They need a meteor to wipe out all the severs and start over with 6 max , make more maps and solve the problem once and for all. Server loyalty sounds great on paper, in practice with a games fluctuating populations it can kill the game in the long run and runs off new players preventing it from improving. It would have been better with either 1) No servers, choose side b4 match starts or 2) reducing he number of servers to around 6 and adding more active maps available to accommodate the larger population.
New players coming into a dead server see a dead game and leave thinking they missed the boat already. That is not good for increasing a game’s population or lifespan.
You can’t be serious. How in the world did server loyalty kill T3? It died when guilds from all over silver league jumped onto the T2 bandwagon. In what world does server loyalty mean leaving your server?
The idiotic match ups killed Crystal Desert. We’ve had weeks of getting our kittens handed to us and everyone stopped playing WvW. I don’t even recognize any of the commanders anymore. They all left.

Yeah we had a blob occasionally last week but we see outnumbered buff more often than we blob.

Eh, SOS and FA tanked to get out of gold league last fall?
1) Don’t see how that would have been possible.
2) Very certain that was not what was going on in FA and just as positive about SOS.The only server in T2 that was trying to leave gold league in the fall was Maguuma, for very good reason since most of the guilds left or went to Archeage.
I find the assertion by Ark somewhat inaccurate in my opinion.
The ‘race’ was for the top t3 servers not to advance to t2 should maguuma fall fast enough before the tourney (cd says they wanted gold, but it didn’t seem like they all did as they were invisible at times too).
There were 5 servers in t3 / t4 that were very close swapping wins until the tourney was announced… The tourney occured, people started moving for easy wins… Tourney ended, mags dropped down, people moved to YB – cluster**** started….
We did want gold just we didn’t pull massive overtime to get it. Because getting into gold league right after burning everyone out to cover our huge coverage gaps is a horrible idea. CD was still gaining glicko until last week before seasons when YB stopped tanking and their EU +late NA/OCX PvDoor groups came out.
Why is it always people from upper tier servers that suggest closing down lower tier servers? Please kitten off and stop trying to ruin the game for us.
All of these T2 woulds have a very loyal pop. and there is a lot of pride on the line.
Best joke I’ve heard in a while now. You do realize the current T2 was made possible by draining guilds left and right from silver league servers. Not to mention a bunch of guilds dropping down from T1 too. You actually expect these guilds to have loyalty? There is a reason for all the drama in T2 right now and that’s because the server that gets stuck in T3 will implode for sure. And no one in silver league will shed a tear for the T2 server that goes through that thanks to how much you have kittened us over.
Dont transfer to Crystal Desert, all they want to do is karma train and blob around the maps. Come to HOD we have loyal guilds here that enjoy wvw, and don’t jump ship everytime the rankings change.

YB is famous for their siege humping.
After seeing the NSP zergs yesterday, there is absolutely no way you guys are better than BP, DB, DR, IOJ, and SBI. With even numbers and no siege, I would bet on those servers winning 9 out of 10 times.
For the first time we had same numbers ;< as the oposing forces. Good effort from ther nsp commanders.
@Death, your wrong, nsp loose stuff becouse servers atack on stacked blob or when bl is empty, on resets i see other servers going almost the 80 man map limit stacked on full zerg or the need to full stack, most of the times we can barelly reach 20-30 players on EB reset, unless 2 or 3 wvw dedicated guild combine to go to same map. last reset all we had were some havok squads.
But at the other hand u are right we dont have the same coverage that other servers have, but if we had the same coverege as silver league servers or as most of them results would be very different.None of our maps were qeueud except eb was queued for some time, and that is extremelly rare.

We had outmanned buff on your BL last night for the first hour or so right after reset. Only havoc squads? 25+ Zos and 30+ Os on your BL begs to differ.

Just now CD got it down to around 53-55%ish. Not bad considering we got caught off guard by his spawn. Many of us thought he wouldn’t spawn for another half an hour. Bone walls also went up twice.

Only real difference between the old one and this one is RNG. Old matchmaking did not have it and so it usually meant static matchups. Generally same opponents and same color every week. That led to a lot of people complaining about matchups never changing and so rng was their solution.
Kaineng doesn’t belong here? Wut? Sure, they are pretty much gonna be last, but if you haven’t noticed, this is the second closest matchup in all of NA.

The heck? Where did all these Ebay forum warriors come from? They weren’t here 2 weeks ago in the CD/BP/EB matchup. And there werent this many of them in last week’s matchup when SoS replaced us. What changed? Ah right, they are no longer third place.
To have someone “bend over and take it” requires someone to actually be present to “take it”. If we are not around, how have we been bent over? I have spent a sleepless night to see what SoS is like when they are Zergballing and what I saw was hardly impressive. If you guys were not awake when everyone else is asleep, you would be on Par with Henge of Denravi. Maybe Henge is a underestimate. Perhaps Darkhaven? I can say this with all seriousness. Coming up the ranks, we’ve had the privlidge of fighting numerous servers. SoS is a tier 6, maybe bottom ranking tier 5 server ,skill wise and number wise. The only thing is their numbers hit when North America is asleep.
And so, thanks to Glicko, you will be able to suck points off better servers (like Ehmry Bay) because you can night cap all their keeps and hold them for a couple hours until they wake up and monkey stomp you. But the Glicko still awards you those ranking points. Until you run into Dragonbrand anyway, and get curb stomped back down into Tier 3 or 4 to repeat the process. Beware though, thanks to Glicko, odds are good you are going to hit Darkhaven and SBI at the same time.
After that the glicko works in reverse. Note how BP has gained nearly 40 points off of you. All your points have been vampired from Ehmry this match. Against Darkhaven and SBI, all they have to do is maintain a pulse and you will lose points. However I know both are reasonably competent, so they will fight so long as they don’t get demoralized. As such, you are going to lose a ton of ranking points will be straight down to tier 5, to spend the next 4 weeks crawling back up. Call me the prophet.

No buff= not out manned. You may argue that “Oh but that takes into account Ebay” but you may notice that their side was completely red and they were making no attempt to get it back.
You just had your forces running out of spawn straight into ours. You are the oceanic server after all, this is was definitely coming on to your prime time as far as numbers goes.
Uhhh.. If you didn’t know as long as Ebay has even one person in their spawn, they will have outmanned while we won’t even if we were too. I’d say you guys had a 1.5:1 advantage. And who says we are an Oceanic server? Oceanic isnt SEA. Learn the difference. Oceanic logins before SEA. You guys without doubt have more Oceanics than us. On the other hand, we have far more SEA than you guys. If you check the scoreboard, you can get a rough idea of when our SEA truly logins by looking at the gigantic spike. It doesn’t happen for another hour or two at least.

Yea, nice job. I was a bit surprised at how many people you had and you guys are coordinating and fighting well. On the other hand, when I logged on for a moment we had 2 commanders. One was a good one and the other was completely idiotic. As if being outmanned with no nice buff (Seriously, Anet? How hard is it to code for 2 servers capable of having it?) wasn’t bad enough, guess who almost everybody followed? He insisted on auto attacking the gate down when both inner and outer walls were down elsewhere. He blindly led everyone to just straight out attacking over and over with no strategy or tactics. No attempt made to protect any of the towers.

This was something we did for fun late at night because you guys literally bored us to death at SE area. First you tried to spawn camp us with 20, failed, died a bunch and then ran back to your tower and never really came out after that. Later you attempted to build siege at the bridge which we killed promptly cause that’s not manly/honorable and pretty cowardly. Then you run back to hills and hide behind your ACs and Cannons aka super boring to fight.
So it was either have fun with CD with a 3v3 duel for ownership of bay or fight BP hiding behind walls and siege. Hmm…
And let’s be real here, who from Ebay was really going to defend Bay at this time of night? I believe you got it right back before the points tick too.

I agree. So we should implement a simple rule. Everytime your forces are going to attack a keep or tower, you must let the enemy know about it. Before the attack can commence, the enemy zerg must be there in full force. That way, there will be no PvD and everyone involved learns how to fight better.

Basically the north inner gate of red keep is bugged in EBG. When attacking it in close range, you can get teleported in. At least thats how I think it works since I’ve only seen people right in front of it get teleported in.

I dont think any reasonable person would blame YB for the actions of a few trolls. They exist on all servers after all and can’t be really controlled.
CD has never been a bad server. As long as I can remeber CD was a T3 server at one point CD was in T2.. Between T2 and T4 they havent changed much besides losing a guild here and gaining a guild there. Why it is that as of lately they did worst or better I dont know.
We actually had 3 rounds of guilds leaving. One where some of our best guilds went to SoS , one right before free transfers ended that decimated most of our NA force and at least half of our SEA, and one in the first week with SoS that saw most of our remaining SEA leaving.
Seems like we CD were the luckiest of T4. We face 2 T3 servers while SoS faces 2 T2 servers and SBI has to face a T2 and a T3 server.
I really really hope the chaos happening in the EU tiers right now make it to us. Everything would be messed up but it would be fun.
So what prompt their return anyways? First time I’ve seen a guild that leaves during a exodus and come back later. Well either way, grats on getting one of your former guilds back.

Know what the best part about bandwagons is? They collapse spectacularly.
You guys should listen to him since he’s from Mag. Remember the great Kaineng? Losing to Mag right now in T3 and was apparently reduced to +0ppt just hours earlier.
Ebay likely has the potential for T4, but we would not sustain the level of tactics necessary nor do we have the population to really compete. We are outclassed at night just as badly as you guys are right now. Between that and the “lets get a new paper shiny and forget to defend the T3 shiney” that all of Ebay, even the big guilds, seem to suffer from regularly we would get destroyed.
In short, we can sustain the level of effort we put out now but your seeing select coordinated efforts and our failures are in the long term efforts and decisions. We can siege and take things with coordination just fine. Don’t get too impressed of a view from the showey acts when we regularly neglect the foundation.
I would say you guys would probably do better than us CD in T4. You guys have a far bigger NA while we have lost our night guilds to TC.

That live stream was kind of a joke. I run around taking camps solo. I stopped watching after you fought with a zerg in a supply camp, at least that’s what I kinda remember, wasn’t really paying attention.
