Mesmer sweeping in Stonemist is generally pretty terrible on everyone’s parts. People tend to go the same routes and follow someone automatically even when they know they should be doing the opposite, and there is a lot of ground to cover.

I agree, but that tends to only happen when Commanders don’t bother assisting the sweep. Since tonight is reset night, and the first few hours of a reset are so important, SM had probably one of the most overkill sweeps we have done in awhile. That is the main reason I keep stressing the fact that a Mesmer hiding for over 2 hours inside SM just sounds ridiculous.

I’m sorry to say it AlMonster, but I really don’t think Deuce was being honest with you. That or you aren’t being honest with us. Also we did sweep, very well, we always sweep very well.

You scaled Phase 3 much to high, no event should be able to completely wipe a full map of people.

This puzzle is much easier then people give it credit for, just keep trying and think outside the box if you can’t make the rock jumps perfectly.

Same thing happened to our group. How do you make a dungeon where if someone dc’s you are just screwed? =/

No, I just think there should be an “Illegal program” option if you suspect somebody is using the flying, or speed hacks, or any other hacks that are about, and there are plenty.

You can’t really report somebody for using game bugs accidentally, maybe if you expect they have been deliberatly exploiting the bug then you should.

I agree “Illegal Program” would work just as well in this case.

I was helping get people ported up to the EB jumping puzzle one night. Some Mesmer from another server was hacking or whatever you want to call it. He kept porting around the map and going invisible when people tried to kill him. At one point, he appeared in an alpha siege golem on top of the treasure chest at the end of the puzzle. I can’t begin to tell you the number of ways what he did was impossible without hacks. Gave everyone a good laugh though I will admit.

Seems to only be the heavy armor set.

This would be a very helpful addition to the current Reporting tool. If I see someone using a hack, or exploiting a game mechanic it doesn’t make much sense to report them for Botting. I would love to hear what other people think about this.

Well this seems to have blown over pretty quickly. Everyone seems to be talking about the Clock Tower now.

1) Why did people not wait to buy black lion chest keys? If you don’t know what a “Chance” is why not let someone else find out for you first?

2) Why are people acting so immature about this? I do get where people are coming from with the drop rates for these skins. I felt they were a little bit harsh so I voiced my opinion in a constructive way. No QQ was needed, in fact you are much better off keeping things short and to the point, it makes it much easier for Mod’s to find and read what the community considers to be important and respond to it.

3) Why are people still upset? The Mad chest is exactly what I felt was missing from this part of the event. It brings the drop rate of these skins up to where I feel they should have been to begin with, while also giving some nice bonus items. It also shows that Arena Net cares about our feedback. That is very hard to find these days and should be appreciated regardless of where you stand on this subject.

I really wanted to start a thread about what the players of Guild Wars 2 find to be the thing they love the most about the game, while also asking what the players of Guild Wars 2 find to be the most disappointing. I think this information would be helpful to all those reading this topic as well as any Dev’s who happen to skim through it. This isn’t a thread for QQ or arguments. Help inform what is popular in Guild Wars 2 and what is not.

To start I find my favorite part of Guild Wars 2 is the jump puzzles. I have no idea why since rarely do jump puzzles treat me well (haha) but I can’t help going back to them over and over again. The thing I am most disappointed about in Guild Wars 2 is the final fight against Zhaitan. So many things can be done to improve the epicness of this fight. The easiest off the top of my head is to add in some epic music, the fight is FAR to quiet for a final big boss show down.

Just going to throw this out in the open. I find it hilarious that I can transfer to an average server that is losing WvW, pop a few siege golems, help take some Keeps, then I become the temporary god of the map and everyone bows before my greatness.

Just a crazy thought on my part, but maybe you all should spend more time figuring out how to use the resources available to you in WvW and less time complaining on the forums about night capping. I may be the odd one out when I say this, but I love waking up and having an entire map one color. This just means I can go around and take everything back and get XP, Money and Karma out the Kitten. I have never seen a server hold the night advantage during the day, so what exactly is the problem here?

I personally think the problem is that most people who post on here have ego’s the size of Texas. Let me guess, the second your server starts losing it is everyone’s fault but your own? Those darn Arena Net! If they were as awesome as me they would make WvW perfect like it should be. Now people become so blinded by anger that they fail to notice that the server having a lower score barely matters. You lose 1-2% of the buffs the winning server might have over you. Buffs which aren’t even that amazing from my experience, nice to have, but nothing to come on these forums and waste so much time QQing over.

I am not even sure why I took the time to sit here type this and post this. Maybe someone will read it and sit back for a second, take a deep breathe and realize that people like me are having no problem being on a losing server. Got to keep in mind, WvW doesn’t really give much of anything extra to the “Winning” side.

Hell, I go to WvW to PvP! Having my spawn camped is great! I have God Mode guards to hump and endless people to kill for the best Badge farming outside of doing all 4 PvP jump puzzles every day. I just do that until good old prime time rolls around then my losing server and the other losing server takes everything back… then night time rolls around, we lose it all, rinse repeat… oh the horror, how will I ever survive.. curse you Arena net! On that note, I am going to tab back in to game and go back to losing WvW and having fun while doing it.

The problem with Elementalist is simple, the class requires a great deal of skill to play and enjoy properly. The Elementalist can be just as strong as any other class, you however are going to need to put in twice as much effort to be just as good as other classes. If nothing else that is the problem with Elementalist. Imagine you and someone else are both given a puzzle. Whoever finishes the puzzle first wins. However you are given a 500 piece puzzle and the other guy is given a 250 piece puzzle. I am sure anyone who plays Elementalist at L80 knows what I am getting at.

So the real question is how to fix this? Buff Elementalist and you risk giving elitist players a class that can destroy any other just to make average players able to compete on even ground. If I was to suggest one thing I would ask desperately to have our base hp raised. To wear light armor AND have the lowest base hp in the game is just painful.

I also want to point out that I think a lot of people underestimate how good the down skill abilities can be. Granted you really have to be a skilled player to pull them off. I do however think that the #2 skill could be tweaked a little, it really is far to difficult to use while being useless if you were killed by a melee type player. The #1, #3, and #4 skills however are completely fine and need nothing done to them.

The #8 Trait in Air Magic “Inscription” Gives you a boon every time you use a Glyph. This however does not work with the Elite Skill “Glyph of Elements”. I am glad to see that the 20% Glyph reduced cool-down Trait now works properly with Glyph of Elements but now it needs to work properly with the “Inscription” Trait as well.
