Shoot, I sent them a ticket, took 3 days to get a response, and the response had absolutely nothing to do with what I wrote them. I responded back asking them to please re-read what I had written, and now it’s been another 24 hours with no resolution.

Great game, but their CSR’s need alot of work.

So I just read that article, and I’m kind of shocked.

dude, the whole point of the article was that Orr ISNT the entire endgame. once u get to Orr and finish it, u move on to the rest of the world (lower level zones) and complete the content youve missed. or you level crafting. or explore.

Complete the content you missed, so what does that entail? Doing all the heart quests and getting barley any money? Farming Karma from any DE you can find to get your exotic gear? Farming your crafting up to create your gear? Explore the whole map, get all the WP’s, all the PoI’s – Vistas to get what, an achievement unlocked? You don’t get anything for it, there isn’t any real progression after you get your gear because gear is the only thing that actually effects your character and how he plays. You don’t do more damage by unlocking the whole map, you do however get a nice little plaque on your login screen and get to see fractions that = 1

After 80 there is no character progression at all

Raiding isn’t progression either, it’s an endless treadmill of carrot on a stick. I’ve raided 40, 25, 10 man raids. I’ve run raid guilds for years, and frankly I am immensely happy to see that this game just has dungeons with hard modes. And no real carrot on a stick aside from just completing what is there. You know why? So you can finish for awhile and go do something else. Be it another character, or another game, until fresh content comes out. Really, I am fine with that. Or just be a total completest and do everything in the game that you can, and then see what’s happening at that point.

If you want tiered raiding, simply, this isn’t your game. Personally I find it to be a huge breath of fresh air.. and I’ll fully admit, I had NO intention of playing this game, tried it anyway, and was very surprised and happy with what I found.

Suggestion:

The guild forum needs to be broken down by server. While I realize that people across servers can join guilds, it is just impossible to try and look things up well by having them all in one forum.

Can we please get that set up? Thanks.

Though I will say as long as you work at completing maps you get a good amount of transmute stones.

I have a short fuse when it comes to puzzles and my mood needs to be right to actually care about doing them.Maybe Im just too old for puzzles and stuff (44).

Having said that,the small puzzle vistas and stuff in GW 2 aren’t all that hard,but the moment I’ve spent more than 30 seconds on one,I’m out of there asap and doing something more productive with my time. lol

Age certainly isn’t an excuse, I love the puzzles and I’m only just barely behind you (41), and yes I even hated games like Mario Bros, but these really aren’t all that hard. I have even done a couple of the actual Puzzle achievs, now those are a pain in the rear, but still, if you are persistent they are doable.

On the other hand, as many others have stated, you don’t have to do any of them, as apparently you don’t when they are a pain for you to do.

Yeah, I don’t understand why the OP is even suggesting it. It is, in essence extra content, do it, don’t do it, totally your choice. But there is no need for your dislike of something to change it for everyone else.

I have had this happen too, have submitted a ticket, got no result.. AND they closed the ticket..

My original point really wasn’t about space, so to those who posted about that, the point was missed, but just the fact that you have to spend gems to buy the slots, and with that being so, then why not have it go across all your characters instead of just one.. or drop the price some, one of the two.

To those who are saying, well you can buy gems with in game currency, well not everyone has that kind of money in game. Ive been playing since 3 day head start, granted, casually. I have a 42, a 25 and a few lower level toons. I think I have seen 1g+ on one of my chars once. So, really that isn’t an option.

Bag slots cost 400 gems, bank slots cost 600 gems. I don’t have a problem with the cost, I just convert gold to gems and buy it that way.

Sorry for the price misquote, not in game at the moment. But it should still go across all your characters.

Ok, I dont understand why when you purchase an extra bank slot its account wide, but when you purchase an extra bag slot it is only on one character.

Well, I do understand in a sense, because you guys want to make money, but I do not think this is fair, if you are going to charge 600 gems to open a bag slot, then it should go across all our charaters, that or drop the price to 100 or 200.

Also sometimes, the item you wanted for x price sells while you are getting ready to buy it and technically isnt there for that price anymore..

I just picked one and went at headstart and havent moved. I really dont see the point in moving to be honest, you can group cross server, guild cross server.. I dont know, seems like it doesnt matter where you are. But I will say I have enjoyed being on Darkhaven and will continue to stay.

The deleveling should be optional and toggled on or off as the player desires. If he wants to go back and do content he had difficulty with at earlier levels, he should be able to. And if he wants to get good exp and play with friends then he should be able to toggle on his deleveling. I just don’t understand why the player doesn’t have the choice, it seems like a win win to give them the option.

I couldnt possibly disagree more. The whole idea is so you cant go back and one shot everything, or farm lower levels. It really brings the M back to MMO’s amongst a few other things that they have done for this game.

In a PvE boss fight with my guardian, I used staff and mostly tried to heal and rez players. I ended up with a bronze and no loot.

Do supportive actions rank so poorly versus straight dps or did I just have a bad day?

Unfortunately for right now support actions don’t give you squat in those events. That really needs to change.

Really doesn’t matter that much since you can get together and join guilds (and multiple guilds) cross server, more important would be, which are the RP guilds themselves.

Karma items, you can destroy or mystic forge, they do not sell to vendors or salvage.
Regular soulbound items can be salvaged or sold or mystic forged.

That should cover your question.

I would have to imagine they will have a name change service eventually.

Can or are you guys going to eventually split up the guild forum by Realms? I hope so, or it is going to be very difficult to find anything. Thanks!
