It doesn’t. Ended up with “Daily Champion Slayer: 0%” after I killed the Svanir Shaman. Either the recent updates changed that or it is somehow bugged.

Yup, it was too weird, because i think i remember doing that Daily in the shaman, normally works. But this last night after the reset i tried 2 times, and one more this morning and nothing! Just doing that Giant activated the thing.

Update: Done! I tried the Giant in Diessa Lowlands and worked. I will use this champ in future similar dailys.

Update: So i was in Dulfy.net GW2 daily achievements guide trying to learn what i could kill to do this daily and i red this:

That Shamã was exactly what i tried yesterday to do this ( and the fire Elemental after), and still not get the thing done. So i must ask, exactly what i must kill to be able to finish this daily?

Oak is no longer a champion and was made a Veteran enemy many months ago.

No matter what, no matter if you like it or not, The Broom, the Carpet & the Sonic drilling are in fact mounts!
Something that can be activated from a item or a skill that “summons” something that we can ride and go everywhere on it, it’s clearly a mount without a doubt!

On topic : of course not! Mounts are not typical from GW!!

- The infusions that we buy in the npc’s in WvW, also works when we are in PvE?, or we loose the first bonus meanwhile we are fighting in PvE?

Exemple: Mighty WvW infusion = +5 Power; + 1% Damage to guards, lords and supervisors.

Meanwhile we are in PvE, we loose both bonus, or the Power one remains?!

That huge and tubular instrument it’s from the double reed wood family i talked later, and it is a Contrabasson.

You can see it better in this video, to listen it’s sound and timbre (please go to 7.10m.)

As you can see it’s similar to what we listen in the track we are debating about, but not exactly the same.

As we don’t have a Dev’s answer yet about this subject, will try to ask the composer personally. If i have luck and he answer me, i will post here after that:)

The first time the theme comes around (0:40) it sounds like a contra bassoon playing in a higher register, but the second time (1:28) it sounds like a flute and bassoon playing together. It is a gorgeous piece and I love that they used an actual orchestra for this. I absolutely love the french horns and the fullness that the cellos give the theme. It’s been forever since I analyzed any music, but that’s my guess.

Hi mate, i can guarantee this instrument it’s not from the double reed wood family because it lacks the typical timbre. I am pretty sure about it because i was a musician in classic orchestras and camera groups for 30 years, and that was something i am very familiar with, from the Oboe to the counter-Bassoon!

At 1.28 it’s the mysterious instrument again, but i can guarantee again it’s playing the solo alone. But that time it looks a kind of Celesta/Chimes plays also in the background some times, what can create a illusion of a “Flute” due to it’s natural echo & reverberation.

As i told before the most similar timbre i know it’s the Great Bass & Counter-Bass Recorders. Other then that it must be some Ethnic instrument of some sort!

Can some one from Anet please help me knowing what instrument is that one please?
I will be truly thankful!

I cried in the past several times due to GW Story! Glint was always kind of a Heroin for me, and i never forget her; i still miss deeply Master Togo from Factions, and the Kormir story in Nightfall was just amazing!

Now after all that amazing adventures, after all the exiting feelings i experienced, you make me cried again in GW2…!

The legendary skeletal lich drain life skill look like active all the time, what makes it impossible to be killed.
Just asking if we can hope to see this fixed before the event end, so we can do the achiv for it?

Per the OPs REAL question, you CANNOT use Portal to reach a place you cannot otherwise travel to and you in fact MUST travel to the location in order to lay down either end.

Portal can help others bypass difficult paths or create shortcuts but NOT the Mesmer generating the Portals.

Sorry guys, i really need help to learn how to do the Portal inside places i can’t reach, or see!

- Example: Rhendak’s Room…, i cant figure how a Mesmer can start a portal near the WP on the surface, and create the exit portal inside the flooded Temple under the ground!

- Or vice-versa:…He is inside the Temple, and make a “exit” portal on the surface near the WP!

Can you guys please try to explain how this is done? I am trying a Mesmer atm, and i wanna be able to understand this so i can help my friends in several situations similar to that example i give.

All i can do with Portals atm is create one where i am, and run/walk to the exact place where i want the exit. I can’t understand how we can create exits on places where we are not physically at the moment!

As mentioned, that was changed a long time ago.

To convert your old soulbound infinite tools to account bound versions:

• Unequip the tool to your inventory
• Speak with a Black Lion Weapon Specialist near TP NPCs in cities
• Select to convert it to the account bound version for free

Funny how some ppl here are so “tired” of this spoons!! Obviusly, money it’s not a problem for them.

Guess what, not all players in game are rich, and that players are very happy selling them to NPC’s!!

So as we easily notice, there are plenty of good choices to her, the most difficult one look’s to be the Mini-pet then. Because as far as i can see we don’t have nothing"Canthish" in the collections.

Sadly Tequatl looks the obvious choice then.

In another way, if we think in Luxons, maybe the exotic floating reef creature could be a good choice also, maybe!

Hello guys, as a huge Cantha fan, i want to make a “Luxon” female warrior based on the Cantha lore. So i am quite lost atm in about 2 decisions at the least:

- What will be the best “Cantha looking” armor set out there, and what will be the best mini-pet for her!

The mini i am thinking in Tequatl…because Cantha is the Dragon Empire after all, but i don’t like it so much as it’s kinda a undead Dragon, (I wish we can have a Kuunavang).

Weapon is Belinda’s GS, and for armor i am using:(Dyed in Red & Gold)

- Scale Boots.
- Heavy Scale Leggings.
- Klaws of Koda. (Hands).
- Draconinc Coat as the Chest Armor.
- Burden of Koda for the shoulders.
- No Helm! She have a “Chinese look” (as much as possible…lol) with white ribbons on the hair.

- Tequatl wings as the Back Pack!

Do you have any good advices for me? What will you change/add to her?

I will be deeply thankful.

But my biggest issue after the update is, as soon as i use the TP for whatever the game crashes!
Now i can’t “upgrade” any of my characters because i can´t buy nothing…!

Before this update my game was running flawless!!

So…as Cantha looks to be a huge Tabu for GW2 now, and because we possible will never see it again, i ask for any of the Top Cantha armor sets.

Same for the Elona ones!
