I think whole of Cantha and/or Elona needs to be a lvl 80 area. Even the endgame of this could be build around ascended items. It makes no sense to do hearts and stuff like that with you veteran char does it?

Seriously… Is there some sort of account bug or am I just incredibly unlucky? I hear how people get 10 exotics if not more a week. Some players who’ve had their accounts for less than a month get a precursor sell it and make quick bank.

I go months without seeing a single exotic besides what I use!

I’ve only ONCE got an event claim ticket for a skin, and it was compete accident when I didn’t even like them.

My buddy quits and goes to WoW then comes back and gets two precursors two days in a row. I haven’t even gotten a fractal weapon!!!

Guess what…i have a similar story with a old friend during “Dragon’s bash”…

I opened in a total kinda 1000 chests and get 2 Jade skins,(Truth is i got them both opened the first 400).
Other friend of me (Playing from game start) was kinda in love for the Staff Jade skin, because he is a Elementalist, and it’s his only char.

That guy, till the Dragon’s event end,have opened nearly 50.000 chests an not a single one he got!!! I can testify this as we live in the same house!!!

Result….when Dragon’s bash ended, he left the game and he is playing GW1!

I must say also, he was one of that players that spend a lot of euros in the shop, to help support the game! (kinda 100Euros per Month, what is a lot with the kind of economy we have in my country)!

This is not exactly to rebuke or debate….i write this because IMO anet need to know they are loosing this kind of players, due to problems like the RNG System!

I can’t say i don’t like it, in some way it amuses me!
What i am worried about is it looks IMO the game starts to have too much Robotica in it…seriously!

In my personal experience, each time i soloed Champs i get nothing or c.r.a.p.!

When i kill them with other ppl, normally i get the normal box and average loot!

But some times weird things happen…like i giving tons of dmg and get a Bronze medal, and other times the champ is almost dieing when i arrive, i just hit it once and get Gold!

Why is MF even in gw2? Everything been nerfed, over nerfed and @#&$ on, so having higher chance of getting something that doesn’t drop isn’t much help from MF.

Maybe the dev that decided that was a DIablo2 & 3 fan too?…:P

I’m fairly certain they will either remove mf and replace it with nothing or it will be replaced with something like xp gain or something equally worthless. Why? If they replace it with a combat benefit they will face massive balance issues. So they will go the easy route and just remove it.

And in the end Devs get chocked why they work so much for the game and “us”, and all they get is negative and angry responses from fans in general….

How can the fans be positive and able to appreciate the devs work,if all we see is bad decisions after bad decisions, after bad decisions,… … …!?

Small Parable:

- They say in the beginning a white chair will be made, but NEVER will be painted .
- The day came an we see it’s not a chair for starters,…but a wall instead!
- Fans get angry…
-One day we awake and see the wall painted in Red!!…
- Fans even angrier with that,tell’s them Red is not good for that wall at all, and asks for yellow!
- After some time they came and paint the wall in Green!!
- Fans riot…and they can’t understand why this happened!!!

SO….i am forced to ask…what in the World are modern Devs smoking this days!?? No seriously!!! It’s far behind logic!

You got me wrong there, I didn’t ask the HoM to be removed, keep it there with its rewards. Just keep the AP system strictly for GW2. Moreover, “smaller” achievements don’t mean easier ones. Smaller achievements can be something like “Finish a fight in a dungeon without getting hit with AOE.” “Kill a boss in a specific way.” “Kill world bosses”…etc…

What I’m saying, is I’d like the AP system to have a meaning. If you see someone with 7k AP you would go, “wow..that guy did a lot in GW2.” and not “Heh, he did dailies everyday and has HoM.”

- Devs create the “drug” to addict us!
- Then they announce that a “Drug II Formula” will be released soon…
- When that new "Drug enhancement came out, Drug addicts notice it is nothing even similar to what they normal used, it is not in that they are addicted!
- Time pass and the Devs continue to “change” that new formula each week, and so The old “Drugged players” are forgotten in the void!

So, if we think a little bit in that parable, don’t you start to think who is really the ones to blame here!!
- The bad educate & rude angry Mob , screaming desperately for they’re Drugs…
; or the Devs that started to “addict” them with a superb Drug, and later “transformed” all the used formula!!??

Well … this is the result of almost 30 years of a culture & education system where kids was allowed to do whatever they want, especially in the Cyberspace!
This “special treatment” give’s them the illusion, they are kings of the World & Illusions of grandeur!!

They just will learn they are wrong the day that some one will shoot them in the head, or spank them!!
That day they will learn that in the real world, there are also real people, and not just a bunch of virtual “NPC’s”!

I really wanned to disagree but I can’t.
I was fan of this game for sooooo long. I still love it, and it hurts, hurts so bad when I see what is happening.
Thing that I think would be impossible to imagine for me half year ago… I fear updates, I fear new content. Instead of feeling excitement while waiting for new content (that will steal my time), I feel afraid of upcoming chore list that is called “Living Story”. Good joke, but joke is on me.

I would really appreciate it if you would slow down with the introduction of new content. I have not yet finished the game in its original form and you have already flooded the world with new content.
I cannot keep the story lines straight, I cannot keep up with what I am supposed to do, I cannot get everything done that needs to be done in the timeframes you give for the events. It is too much!
Please slow down the introduction of new content a bit. I realize that there are those nuts out there that do nothing but game and that they rip through new content quickly but for the average person there is so much I have to keep up on that I am really starting to loose interest in the game it is all just too confusing.

Thee are so many other things i want to do in the game but that i never do, because i see myself all the time doing something related to the active event of the moment…!

Please create a kind of “Skin saver NPC” like the one that used to exist in GW1 where we could save all the head items skins gained in the events, and after that each time we want to use a different one, just give the guy some silver and voila…done!

- With so many skins for so many different types of items in this game, it’s too easy to just forget to use a transmutation stone first,, and lose for ever that particular skin!

Even doing that for all of them, soon all the free space we have in the banks will be just full of “stored skins” everywhere!!

With a NPC capable to “save” all the skins we can have,like the old one from GW1, this will never be a problem again!

Easy to notice this is in Jotun villages, but in the caves where Giants show up, there are always rabbits too<!

This is a massive MULTIPLAYER online (MMO) game. You’re going to have to expect to group up for some content.

Multiplayer & MMO just means that’s a game only played using Internet (On Line), and where it’s expected to encounter tons of people!! Doesn’t mean that’s a place where players must play together!!

And i also don’t like this event, ugly with no fun! With achievements too hard for the casual to complete.
