No matter what happens I got my boys for life. I’d never turn or snitch on my boys. There’s still some people that actually have logic on these forums even though they no longer play. The old community was where it was at. People now a days just look for excuses and to point fingers at anyone to create drama. Guess that’s why this game is dead and the players that flourished are succeeding in life.

Hey if someone has proof of foul play, someone trolling or dcing on purpose I encourage them to send it in for review. I’ve recorded numerous games this season for those purposes. Season 5 a lot of people griefed each other but I haven’t seen that yet from a top player. I’ve seen it from the usual suspects who I just report and don’t care to bicker with.

Not to mention the fact that the vast majority of players in MMOs are horrible at PvP. So when you combine that, with the fact that an extremely good duo will be forced into a match at 6-8 minutes, to be put with players hundreds of rating below them, is going to result in very one-sides matches. When top duos queue at the same time, it then becomes a game of who gets the vanilla staff guard, the condi thief gods, or players who are just known to guarantee you an auto-loss. So then you take turns losing 25-30 rating to only gain 6-8. That sounds fun, Woo!. I haven’t had one match this season where there were 10 good players in it.

In total I’ve had two games this season where someone deliberately threw. But in all honestly it didn’t trigger me and my duo queue partner that much because we just gain it back in 2-3 games. It’s the same thing on the EU leaderboard. They just farm noobs, what else is there to say that’s the reality.

You shouldn’t limit to who can play with who in my opinion. It’s been like 8 months since the last event and almost a year since the last pro league. No team will have more than a few “pro” players on it as is because of the state of the game. Letting people pick who they think is reliable to get on to scrim and grow as a team is important. The feeling of competitiveness is greatly reduced if you’re force fed players and log on once a week for a fiesta.

Sounds like fun, a few of us are looking forward to playing again.

Daddy never does PvE, but when he does, he wants the quests to work.

It’s appalling that anything from season 1 would be re-implemented or, even brought up. I’d like to think “Season 1” would be treated the same as saying Voldemort in the Harry Potter series.

A few weeks ago we posted a small update on this forum about how we intend to make a number of system changes to improve the PvP league experience. While the bigger changes we’ll be making to leagues won’t be ready in time for Season 4, we’d like to let you know about a change that will be in effect for this upcoming season.

With the start of Season 4, we’ll be returning to Season 1’s style of matchmaking which focuses on creating the most balanced teams from the players queueing within your pip range. This change may widen the skill range of players in each division, but we feel that increased match quality is worth the trade-off of reduced prestige for this season. During Season 2 and 3 we added two league features that greatly impacted your ability to climb: start-of-season division placement based on previous season performance and win/lose streak pips, and both of these features will remain enabled for Season 4.

We’re not at a point where we’re able to discuss the changes we’ll be making to PvP Leagues for future seasons, but making rewards more accessible for casual players and making divisions prestigious and a more accurate indicator of skill are among our highest priorities.

2) Changing up the rules may be harder thank we think it may be. As a professional tournament, this may require permission from arenanet and across-the-board changes in corporate operation. Not to mention that it would look bad when changing up the rules.

I agree. I think it’s something that should be looked into for next season at the very least.

I think it’s a great idea and I know a lot of folks have wanted this for some time. As an aside, I’m glad the AG tournaments have this rule. Even though the skill level on the whole is lower, those matches of late have been much more exciting than the pro league ones.

I actually caught a few AG matches last week and they were indeed enjoyable to watch. AG adding the rule was a smart move in my opinion.

Hello, with the poor state that competitive PvP is currently in, I would like to recommend and get feedback on how people feel about limiting only one unique class per team in Tournaments. The majority of the competitive pvp population would agree that bunker mesmers/ revenants are the two most overpowered and dominating classes currently in the game. Stacking these two classes makes it so kills often don’t happen until late in the game, and when they do the other person can bunker a node until the dead ally re spawns and comes back to the neutral point. When the vast majority of games timer out, no hype and excitement comes from these matches. You can see it in the players and viewers attitudes, the amount of negative feedback from both audiences is extremely high. By allowing only one unique profession per team you will open up so much more room for diversity. The matches will become much more enjoyable, and will no doubt increase the viewing pleasure along with the amount of people that watch. Please feel free to leave your feedback on how you feel about the topic.

There is potential for this to be one of the funnest metas. Unfortunately, revenants and bunker memsers are not in a imbalanced, but broken state in my opinion. Which leave close to every team being force to convert to using these compositions. It is very boring to watch and play in. My team scrimmed the double rev, double mesmer, tempest team for hours the other night and by the end of the scrims I had such a headache and everything just blended in. If a balance patch cannot happen until the end of the season a one class limit per team should be considered. If something doesn’t change this could be a big disappointment not only for the players, but to the already hard to spectate side of things as well.

Where in the code of conduct does it say who you can and cant queue with?

ESL teams are farming teams made of soloq players, rest of community loses games on purpose to tank down MMr to get easier wins later. I see NO mistake in your queue time, working as intended.

There were multiple full roster teams queuing at the exact same time. We also restarted after the patch, so it was not bugged from that. So the system by passes 4 players with high mmr and does not put them vs 5 team queued players?

You will not understand rage, frustration and trolling until you play some League of Legends solo queue.

Guild Wars 2 isn’t balanced around 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3. It’s built around conquest. So ten times out of ten, custom tournaments aren’t very enjoyable. It leads to certain classes being way overpowered, especially when you ban certain traitlines, amulets or single traits (which obviously you have to do because of how OP certain things are in small scale fights). The 2v2’s for example, you can kite endlessly on courtyard, running 2 support builds. Really how long can people live if they truly want to stall? Unless you sit down and study to create the perfect formula on what to ban, it leads to people finding loopholes or trying to bend the rules. Which then leads to salt, or people trying to out-aids each other. For example, kiting around for 5 minutes, perma stealthing or running close to unkillable builds(even when its restricted to marauder/zerker amulet. Kudos for the effort to these tournaments though.

Man my boy Jasher goes hard in the paint. No matter what the argument I can honestly say that verbal discredits are ridiculous. WTS 3 Cologne, Germany proves it. Until you’ve met an opponent in battle and have defeated them, can you only say that you have bested them. A lot of players/ teams in games are discredited because of the region they are from. That is absolute garbage. Where you’re from does not define what you can do, or how good you can be at a game.

Mesmers are indeed broke/ overpowered.

I can agree with OP mesmers are a bit over the top and incredibly easy to play now lol. Before the patch when i have 2 mesmers on my team i would sigh, but now even if we have 3 the game is still very winnable, lol. Been playing the mantra interrupt build myself and even with little experience on the mesmer class im still dunking kids.

I will agree damage is way too high on numerous builds. I 2 shot a thief for 9k+6k with weakness on me using rampage.

Keep any and all of the WvW filth the hell away from pvp. I agree to remove the food from WvW. Let the PvEr’s feel good about hitting the same monster everyday for an extra 1000 damage from the food stat boost.

Cruuk is the best thief in the game. His mechanical skills are second to none. He has crazy map mobility and devastating damage. 10/10 thief I would recommend him for any team looking to be the best!
