Just to let all of you know, ender’s coming back with a vengeance. His new team Ellusive got 350 against abjured in last week’s esl and got 250 against abjured in the monthly finals in one game…sort of.
I’m telling you guys, ender’s hormones are on fire now, and he wont stop until he gets a piece of what he wants. He’s VERY thirsty. Think of it as a mixture of Isaac Brook in the lonesome crowded west and Kanye West in graduation.
Ender will stop at nothing to channel his raging desires and inclinations into forming the coalition that will topple over the imperialists.

Not true at all. The leaderboard should reward volume because otherwise it promotes people waiting for their lame comp “team” to come online and then they farm pugs all day. Does that prove individual skill? Nope.

Lol the ones up there are team queuing and stomping pugs all day. Only the ones with the close win/lose rate are solo queuing. We faced the farmer team as a pug on our alt classes and beat them every time with no effort. Can post screenies if you would like. I am also concerned for their health to be playing that much.(wow)

As for gw2 currently, you can play a melee tanky dps, a ranged tanky dps, or thief (debatable if thief is really better than either of the first two) — you’ve got about 5 builds to choose from and 3 roles.

I see more than 5 builds used between Cheese Mode, TCG, 55HP, The Abjured, and Dodge or Die, formerly the Absurd.

Question, Toker, from your perspective, what is your solution to the celestial meta?

I would personally shave like 3% off the total percentage of the amulet on each stat. But of course this would be on a PTR to see how it is. Could be possible it needs to be nerfed further. I believe the physical part on celestial is a little too high. ( I can crit for up to 4800 dmg on my cele engineer). Now keep in mind I’m not an expert but I do have extensive pvp experience at top tier in multiple games. For example multiple gladiator titles in World of Warcraft and made money off of selling Rating in that game.

After 2 member couldn’t attend WTS, the abjured then replaced two players. After replacing 2 players the Abjured still beat every team in the world with substitutes. The roster was then changed following the WTS. Now, yes it had 3 celestial amulets. Did good fights dominate the NA scene before WTS? Yes. Before Celestial amulet was even introduced! The abjured comp is now 3/5 previous Good Fights. TBH as a berserker amulet i can 1v1 any “celestial amulet” player in this game and atleast go 50/50 win percentage. From a world champion I would advise you to rethink your team composition and tighten up on your rotations before blaming everything on a “amulet”. Also look at your individual player skill, and ask yourself do you honestly believe you can go toe to toe with players such as the Abjured and Absurd.
Now, do I believe celestial could have a few percentages shaved off the total stats? Yes. Does it need to be totally deleted? No. I believe hybrid builds should exist, although they shouldn’t be the most powerful in any stat. They should utilize defensive and offensive tactics in order to be successful. Which I believe they do well now, but could use just a little toning down(not much since I can beat them as a zerker amulet.)

You know ostrich eggs? well I’ve had a few run ins with him during solo que, he plays during primetime. Guess what hes on the top 25. He don’t farm newbies all day. And he doesn’t have a perfect score so don’t go around thinking you better than everyone else because you won WTS. He won WTS too and he’s been beaten a few times.
Those people with 20+ wins 0 losses, bunch of baloney. Nothing but newb farming because I don’t see other good players with 20 losses due to your beatdown. Those good players out there would break your perfect scores.

Points based on real games, no more cheesemode I beat the system and therefore #1 on leaderboards type games. I’m HAPPY that they finally have something that is a result of real games rather than people trying to cheat the system.

Hey toker reactions from game one. Im really curious to know did you guys notice the clock or just had a huge feeling of relief when you saw you won.

Yeah bro we didn’t know the clock was running out. We were so concentrated on getting a cap back that we had no idea the game was ending. Normally games never clock out to zero. It’s usually only on temple people pay attention to the clock for the buffs.

Autoattacks dmg are one of the things that should be changed and makes the game less “skillful” in many ways, makes the gameplay different.

People say that there is so much spam dodges. But why is that ?

People have to counter random dmg with random dodge. Autoattacks shouldnt never ever have to make pressure and force u to use dodge or even waste one of ur def cds no matter with/vs what class no matter what amulet,runes but this happens a lot.

It needs to be down, it doesnt let u to focus and dodge only important burst/off cds
from the enemy u have to just random dodge. Also AAs shouldnt proc with any offensive sigil. Even in the teamwork mechanics If AAs would do less dmg, players would even set up, sync their burst more. If its toned down u can even nerf vigor/energy.

The game should direct player to know all off abilities and counter it with dodge, sync the burst. Not by doing pressing 1. Try to count how many times u will have to waste dodge vs AA and gives some player advantage above u because of his AA + sig procs when u play next in 1V1s.

That is the correct roster. Chaith and I replaced Nos and Caed because they weren’t able to attend the event in China due to personal situations. Although Wakkey, Chaith, and I were all three once Good Fights , we are now representing Abjured for the tournament. I know the roster has confused a lot of people.
The events yesterday were unfortunate and unexpected. I have my mind dead set on who I believe was doing the DDOS attacks. I shall not disclose my opinion on the matter because I cannot provide any concrete evidence. What I can tell you is that every time Ostrich’s internet was attacked and disconnected, was a crucial moment in the match and could have costed us the match or set us behind very easily. Yesterday was stressful for all parties, but I would like to thank Grouch for making excellent calls and fair decisions for the events that nobody was prepared for. I’m sure Arena Net is working diligently to prepare for future interruptions. Despite the unfortunate events I still love and believe in the community and this game. Abjured will continue to prepare and represent North America to the best of our ability in China. Thanks to all.

I’m surprised it felt laggy for you – all of NCSoft’s servers are in Texas afaik, so it shouldn’t make a difference for you playing on EU servers.

Unless ANet have some sort of peering deal happening meaning your data has to get bounced across the Atlantic and back…

Yeah it’s actually a huge difference, for example when i use #5 on shortbow my character stops and then starts to walk again when i reach my destination.

I actually play solo Q to win every game. I switch classes depending on what would best suit my current setup with each team i get put into. But as far as the rankings in solo Q reflecting a persons actual skill level is around 50% accurate.

Actually backpack is right about solo Q. It can’t be taken seriously and the ranks mean absolutely nothing. For example, the high amount of 4v5’s. The amount of clueless pve players mixed in the queue, teams that are not even closely balanced(every game)..etc.

This is true. I use the Warden Greatsword on my Guardian (t3 cultural from Sylvari, cultural weapons can be used in all races) and I see way more Sunrises and Twilight than copies from my weapon. Ppl often ask me what weapon is it.

NA: BLU, Kensuda. Five Gauge
