I got asus geforce 1070 card, ssd disks and i7 intel (3.40 ghz).

Atm I run maxed in game but havent touch anything in nvidia settings or well I run DSR thats all. (I dont have a high res screen 4k)

I want to to optimize as much as possible, best quality. In nvidia settings I know I can change alot, but does anyone know whats best for GW2?

As for shodows, they look bad worldwide in any game imo. Don’t know when it ever will be fixed/redone/whatever. Try set shadows on low and it might work. Atleast then u dont have the rough uggly edgey look and the problem you mention maybe disapear.

I seem to be having quite bad FPS in-game with good hardware. I got this computer thinking it would run the game a lot better but that doesn’t seem like the case..

How is it a massive update affecting gameplay? You get a 3 hour window to log off at your convenience and you are no longer forced out when you zone or switch character.

Given it took just a few mins to fully update and it was listed as a maintenance build (common in any MMO), I’m not entirely understanding what the issue is. I went to make a cuppa and it was done on return.

As to the update, it was, as the notes said, a maintenance update. It didn’t change anything within the game, although yes, the download was large. But I believe it was maintenance on the update system itself. The update really was exactly what the notes explained, and any changes to the game would have been mentioned within the notes.

Any reason why the uppdate was so slow? 5-10kbs ……

As long you can tranfer to servers there will be no balance…..ever.

I’m not sure what happend, but SFR used to be one or the most populated, same one of the leading or rather dominant in WvW server (EU) Something happend a (year) ago? And after that it’s just gone bad, or well, was a period it went better but after the link “bang” alot just fled to other servers.

Today it’s a medioker server.

FSP → SFR bout 2 years ago. I might move back thanks to the latest changes.

I transfer where the activity is and not where Anets weird idea of server balance is. Anet should just merge all servers into 3 or 6 already instead of this useless linking.

Umm…if it’s T1, it’s not a dead server. It has to be T3 or lower to be considered dead nowadays. :/

It was T1 before the relink, it feels just as dead as SFR now which I left before. Now after relink it feels like dead SFR and people + guilds transfer away in droves.

SFR lost good comanders and whatever, dunno realy exactly what happend, then for awhile went bad in the matches. For a few months it went better again, but not for long. Now after that merge no wins, and seams like those who was left and played wvw are gone. 13th place now. 1800 gems for a transfer becouse I wanted to play with a server wit hreputaion and big zergs. Think it was over a year and a half I did transfer from FSP (lol). Ohwell…….

The art team has done such a wonderful job with the legendary reworks. Kudos. The new bowstring of The Dreamer and the new footfalls and arm/draw effects of The Minstrel are very awesome to watch.

It would be nice though if The Dreamer’s whinnying would restricted a bit to play only for every 10th shot or when drawn. Then it would be perfect. Just not during every shot

And for next a rework on Eternity (make the look worth x2 legendary) and and a mute option for the dreamer

Ok….so what happens then? 8 month old but still an issue. The Boon Thieves instability is a pain and for a guard thats a big problem, the meta build for fractral includes virtue and symbols. I play guardian and been on “fractal” break awhile Ive now even noticed “non reta guard” in lfg. Lol, well better just say no guards are welcome at all then.

Ive been playing the game since release, closing in 5k game hrs, and also never gotten a pre droped (if you mean drops).

Tho gotten like 10 or so from the MF, but probably cost more then gain.

Just get a pre drop from a chest or mob is crazy rare.

Is it ment that Wings of Resolve (SoC aswell) can be interupted and then go on full cd? starting to have issues with this lately, for an example, I got feared the same time I cast the WoR and the skill goes on full cd and I didnt get anything out of it…..shoundt it just be a recast cd? like alot of other skills/spells ? 3, 4 secs?

I dont pvp anymore with my DH. WvW I used to run but kinda died for me awhile ago so its fractals/dungeons/raid and pve boss hunt etc now days.

I go with the meta GS/LB with some traps. Works fine in both fracts/dungeons and open pve.

The fused weapon skins are amazing. However the price is well out of the range for most players. Would you please consider making them available for gems or black lion tickets again.

(For gems? erm no) You get this from looting tickets from BL chests by expensive/rare keys (that I can asure that ALOT of ppl got loads off (the tickets), just waiting for “destroy” the value/rareity of that/those skins, not a 700gem bought outfit/app.

But alright, its a gemstore item so…..can’t argue bout that I guess.

Im alright with DH, more disappointed with the name “Dragonhunter”. Even with the trapnerf, they still are strong with a zerkbuild. Virtue of Justice (wings of resolve) are realy nice, and they bow dmg/cc is alright imo, not op nor bad.

But the whole idea of the elite to guardian is a fail tho imo. Name frist of all, should been something like Justicar/paladin/frontliner/templar/warder e.t.c. Second, the weapon, warhorn instead of bow. Traps im alright with, but still, could be something else. Anyway, this aint something goin to happen and this been brought up 100 times so no atept to highjack something here hehe.

Overall, go guardian, I didnt quit mine becouse of its new eilte DH ^^

Not much for pvp, but do lots of fractals/challange pve and after the last update (courage) ive gotten cooldown and no effect alot of times……atleast the spell should be avabile in a few secs again but nope, 64 secs and counting -.-

Jaxnx is a dps meter that use screenshot of your combat log so you can’t get ban from that. Not 100% perfect, but it work very well and give you a really good idea.
