But, you can’t play ranked PvP during offseason, only unranked. If I recall correctly. And, based on the GW2 page, season starts next week.

i think things like needs to kept of the forums unless you want anet to “hot fix” like all of the other tricks the game use to have.

From my perspective, that is a not a trick – it’s a bug and bugs should be fixed. Even if they work in your favour.

Agreed, hope they do revert the change or do some visual update so the auras are actually visible. Those are some great visual effects (when seen).

Don’t know why anyone would take it over reduced fire CDs and 10% damage boost. A build would have go all out auras to make any use out of it, and the use wouldn’t be meaningful enough, if it was working properly.

Doesn’t matter what would someone chose. If it doesn’t work, it should be fixed.

Haven’t tested it myself. Played with an aura build and the tooltips for auras didn’t change much, with runes and such, even though I did notice an increase in duration of auras.

Could be a good idea. Least fo auras. They are not easily visible.

I sure hope Anet does something about those AFK farmers.

Map in all fairness is an okayish map. Basically all new maps are the same, concept wise. Tho, I really like Draconis Mons.

What is the purpose of this build. To take place of a PS warrior or? If you got PS warriors for might stacks and a druid for healing in a raid group, this build would incorporate both? So you can get one more pure damage build?

Agreed! I had the same issues as you. With so much clutter on screen, it’s easy to lose your cursor.

Get Yolomouse, you’ll never have issues with that again. Just set it right and you’re golden.

I’ve included chill and burn into my power reaper build. Stacking 25 might solo is pretty easy, so with 25 stacks my burn and chill do decent damage. Hey, doing extra few thousand damage is not something to throw away. Specially when you consider as a power reaper you spend a lot of time in reaper shroud.

As you can see, with bloodlust stacks, you go over 3200 power, with 225% ferocity. With 25 might, it’s really nice, and it’s pretty easy to self stack 25 might, due to spite traitline. All that is without any other party buffs.

Also, I don’t see any reasone to have toughness on your gear/food. You would just draw more aggro. Survining is a matter of learning and adapting to situations. Not a gear check. So, just play and get better.

I tend to swap my utilities depending on the situation, content. Same as weapons. I really like the axe, love to see those 26k ghastly claws! Also, with reaper shroud, you can do some great dmg.

I opted for dhuumfire and chill damage as with 25 stacks of might, they do some pretty good damage and suplement your physical damage. And with decimate defense, you dont really need shroud crit boost.

I find this build to be pretty good, and I can do most content with ease. Sure, soloing champs is not as easy as opposed to minion master, but hey, you can retrait on the fly.

If I know that they have been standing on the point for a while then I tend to summon my worm on the point itself. It triggers all the traps without any interupts or damage to me. I think it’s a good trade.

You just block and report after 1st abuse sentence and move on. Anet has nothing to do with people being jerks. It’s just that. People.

Also, you should grow some thicker skin, or you might get really hurt in real life. THere might not be a block and report button when face to face with a jerk. Just an advice.

I would also like an option like that. Happened many times I missclicked on the compact option.

Hi, I would like to report a bug – whenever I swapped a character today (after patch) I got a new daily log-in reward.

In a moment of confusion, I opened 1 extra, but I’ve left the ones that pop after unopened. Doesn’t seem right. Got 2 chests pending.

Yes, GW2 needs lfg filters. The filters should at least have: stats, profession, level, traits, achievement points. There should also be this dps meter so leaders could observe if one is slacking or playing the profession wrong. At the best there should also be keybind checkers etc. to identify if one is a filthy clicker and of course an autokick feature if one tries to chance gear and traits during the instance.

Hey guys, at work and messing with gw2 skills build calculator. I’m trying to make a full glass staff build and was wondering what is better.

Superior sigil of bloodlust vs superior sigil of cruelty.

250 power or 250 ferocity.

With 250 power I get almost to 3000 power without might stacks, and 228% crit dmg. But with 250 ferocity, I’m at 2700ish power and 245% crit dmg.

Not sure which one to use. Thoughts?

Can you try to play a class because you enjoy it, not because its great at most roles. So what if your warrior or whatever class you would play, is not the best? Does that mean you wont enjoy it anymore? Who cares if by running a warrior you do a dungeon 2 minutes slower? Big deal. Or whatever content you enjoy playing.

This is a game. Try to have fun with what you enjoy, not whats best at a given time.

Just leave, none is forcing you to play. Why would you play a game that you dont find fun.

You use Signets of suffering but yet you use no signets.

So basically, you dont do anything besides PvP and an ocasional dungeon, and then when a game or expansion comes out with a lot of features you dont like or care about, you call it expensive.

Do you understand that a lot of us do play ALL aspects of the game. Okay, 45e is a bit prices, but in the long run, I know I’ll get my moneys worth.

Hey all.

Got some issues here, that I normally never have. For the last 2 days, GW has been crashing way too much. Just today, at least 5 times. Was running personal story, SW, or a dungeon, it crashes. And, when I run Task manager, it says GW2 is not responding, but I cant close it. Have to restart the PC cause I cant do anything.

Is there anything I could check to see if it’s something about my PC or game client? Not really a PC wiz.

It is, as you suspect, borked at the moment. However, there are two reliable work-arounds:

• Walk in front of the mortar, atop the ‘floor’ over the water. Logout the character and log back in; you’ll be under the water and can proceed as normal. OR
• Get one of the frequent ports to rhendak’s tomb and work your way backwards. Each of the ‘gates’ can be unlocked from the ‘wrong’ side.

Hi all. So I got a problem, and probably more people who would like to finish Mawdrey.

I’m at the point where I have to go to Flame Tomb tombs and get the Water of Rhand. When you enter the tombs, should destroy the statue, grab the head and go left to the room with the mortar. Use the mortar, which will bring the roof down and grab the needed item from the water.

But the problem is that the mortar will not bring the roof down. I’ve got the head, clicked on the mortar but nothing happens.

Any ideas how to fix it? Can someone check it if its working normally or bugged.

You’re range is, what, 600 at max, with weapons? How do you compensate that? Lets say against a LB ranger.
