After half an hour trying to jump up to him, only to get pushed down again after less than a second the few times I managed the jump at all before the crystal wore off, I feel I’ve had my fill of this.

I am at the moment at 174/175 for exploring Shiverpeaks, and I have found Griffonrook Run, Forsaken Halls, Lair of the Coil and Ulukk’s Hunger so it can’t be them missing.

I can’t for the life of me figure out what I might have missed.
Any suggestions?

Check the turret’s level. If it is higher than 80 then you have too many people nearby scaling the event up and it will take you the better part of an hour.

That would explain why the turret was level 84 when I tried the fight last night…

I was toying with the wardrobe function today when I remembered that I had some skins in the PvP Locker, and went to the mists to check if I could unlock them too for my wardrobe.

Apparently some profession trainers had moved in there instead of my locker.

So I’m wondering this: Are those skins I had there lost forever now? Not that any of them was “WOW! Much Style! So Fashion!” but still…

Today I was going to sell some loot to Evon Gnashblade at Vigil Keep, and he told me about some statue he had acquired that was supposed to make me stronger, or something like that. I paid him 50 silver, as he asked, but nothing new appeared in my inventory.

Was I just so exhausted from the scarlet miasma that I imagined it? Or did he rip me off?

Had I had any sense about myself, I should have screencapped the offer.

Has anyone seen Water Closet Asura?

Only had time to read two pages so far, but I was really confused in that scene on the beach, because I was convinced they were already married.

I base this on something (I apparently only believed) I heard Marjory say once. I’m not sure when or where I think I heard it.

Well, the Living Story had only three achievements, only one of which made you go into the map where the fighting was. After getting lost a few times and eaten by a zerg, I finally found the Golem Pieces unguarded, so I swiped them and ran like a kitten out of hell.

Of course I got lost again, ended up in some building, made a catapult which gave me a PvP achievent (YEAH ME!) and fired some gavel from it. Gods only know where it landed.

Left the building, ran into some people fighting, tried to help but got ROFLstomped and respawned by the Golem to hand in the pieces. All done.

Felt pretty good about myself, still, as I am a PvE player.

Possible Crazy Talk:
I started thinking that, as there seem to be dragons for different elements, why not a mind-dragon? And if so, is it taking over Scarlet to gain a body? If SO, is the Lion’s Arch stuff a part of the dragon’s plan to gain power, or is it Scarlet trying to destroy the dragon and thereby herself? Assuming the mind-dragon is preventing her from ending her life on her own…

I really like the look of them. To me they feel a bit gothic/victorian with the dark metal together with the red gems. I will surely try to get hold of a few of these.

When it happens to me at the Marionette, I like to imagine that Scarlet blew all her savings on that thing, and we broke it in less than half an hour. That copper is all she has left and I gladly take it. And I imagine myself carelessly flipping that copper down the mystic toilet, leaving Scarlet with nothing but the Veteran Cave Troll outside her secret base for company.

I’m so sorry for derailing this thread, but how do you do the commoner run in 30 minutes? On a warrior/Guardian it takes me at least an hour.

On topic: Buying keys is a serious waste of gems unless you get really, REALLY lucky. Unless you feel the need for those tonics and armor repair stuff.

It would be really cool if your current personality balance made NPCs talk about you differently. Nothing elaborate, just a couple of dialogues and phrases that could play at times.

Just for fairness sake, USD and EUR are not equally worth. As a Swede 10 euro is 95,53 SKR and 10 Dollar is 70,14 SKR at today’s exchange rate. I assume the exchange rates differ for other non euro/dollar countries too?

I know players will buy this stuff, but c’mon. Instead of doing flames over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over, can we get:
Foefire
More radiant
Shadow Shadoe Chado (like the grinning ghastly shield)
Branded
Aura imbued stuff

Feels like they just copy/pasted the flames from one of the other flame sets and had three new armors in less than ten minutes job. Easy money.

I would love to see some kind of Conan-ish heavy armor with lots of skin for males and much less skin for females for a change. Like a furry loincloth and a necklace (for chest) in the male version and some chainmail tank top for the ladies.

I try to do at least one of the heartwood or monastery portals if I am there when they start. The tamlinn one is a no-no as I will never make it back in time for the main event due to my loading times.

They don’t even need to implement new weapons for it to work. Just use it as skins for Staves and Hammers, as the skills for those weapons would be similar to a giant axe as well.

The only thing I would want to change about the downed state is a way to kill yourself off before it ends. It’s really annoying in solo PvE when you get downed and you really don’t have a chance to rally, but the mob(s) hit you so slow it takes forever to die as they interrupt your triage but not much more.

Being stuck at Krennak’s Homestead for up about an hour and a half for fear of missing the Maw sure has enhanced my playing experience.

Of the times I have done Shadow Behemoth after the change, I haven’t gotten any special chest, like I do from Maw or Fire Elemental. I just figured it was excepted from that rule somehow.

So I should look for tribal armor, and I can then use it as a PvE skin?
(Gods, I feel as dumb as a lonely skritt… >_<)

I am a total PvP noob. Let’s begin there.

I got my eyes set on a piece of the PvP Masquerade armor set and wanted to know if it would be possible to get my hands on it.
According to the wiki, I need:
1 x item token
1 x wolf token
1 x arcane crystal
5 x arcane powder

I have no idea how to get my hands on any of the items and I didn’t understand much of the wiki, as I don’t know how the PvP works in this game.

Is it possible to, within the foreseeable future, get my hands on these items, and how?
Are the items accountbound or soulbound?

I am a bit hesitant to try out WvW and such, as I know from my WoW days how beginners are treated by the high and mighty pros. Do I stand a snowballs chance in (a very warm place) to achieve this, or should I just put it out of my mind as fast as possible?

Incredibly grateful for any advice.
