Guild Wars 2

I was able to log on to my revenant, but yeah same problem, it’s trying to load me somewhere else. I was in Straights of devestation when the server crashed and it’s trying to put me at cursed shore. My main I play I didn’t even use yesterday and I can’t log onto it either.

Hey, is there a known server issue going on right now? I can’t log on. I get to the character select screen, and when I pick one, it goes to the loading screen and then drops this error code: 1083:5:7:1596:101. It’s happening to more than one person in my household but one person is able to log in.

Additonal note: My girlfriend and I was clearing straights of devestation last night on some alts and those alts are logging into Malchor’s Leap for some reason, even though we logged out elsewhere.

I was getting this exact same error. When I got to the character selection screen I changed my graphics option from windowed fullscreen to fullscreen and it worked. I am now in the game. From within the game I changed it back to windowed fullscreen and it seems to be working fine so far…hope this helps you guys!

I was getting the exact same errors and this fixed it for me. So it has something to do with being fullscreen i guess?

Make sure you linked your GW1 account to GW2. I’m pretty sure they didn’t remove the ability to get HoM rewards out of nowhere.

I enjoy doing them too. However, the problem with increasing the rewards is that people can just park alts at the end of them.

This would actually be pretty easy to fix. Just make some sort of consumable key or buff at the start of the puzzle that goes away once you open the chest at the end.

I only have earned half of the skins from the HoM but I do not agree with this idea. I worked hard for those skins the summer before launch but I can’t imagine the work people put into earning everything the HoM offers. To devalue their work would be a huge slap in the face to the people who worked for a maxed hall. Honestly Guild Wars 1 is a great game and you can enjoy it like many single player games. If you only want the Firey Dragon Sword it shouldn’t be too much work to get (you can just get jormags breath if you like blue). Learning more about the lore and having a great game to play should be more than enough reason to work for these skins. Also to note many of the guild wars 1 players are pretty willing to help people fill their halls with mini pets or on some of the harder content. In fact I believe you can get rewards by just starting your hall.

I suggest making an ele, their skill variety is amazing and I never get bored with mine. I run dungeons a lot and I never have any problems there. For WvW and PvP I don’t do as much but I do fine with my ele when I do. Engineers can be fun too but I personally get bored with a lot of their skills fairly quickly.

Check that out if you need help. Also you should be able to get points for each campaign you finished. Like others said, M.O.X is a freebie. Also check for your minis as they can be very easy points. My guess is after you figure out everything you have, you will probably end up with more than just 1 point.

I have noticed that there are a ton of quarts spots that show mined out for me but I haven’t even been to them yet, while I see other people mining them… My girlfriend has been able to mine every single one she sees but I can’t mine them. Is there a limit on the amount of quarts you can mine a day or am I experiencing a bug? Note I was able to mine them when I first logged on, I mined about 3 nodes but now all the rest of them in the upper levels I can’t mine.

I found one while killing a ton of centaurs in harathi hinterlands, honestly you will probably find a couple before u acquire 100,000 candys…

You mean to say if you face check 5+ lvl 84 karka on your own you will die?!?! Madness!!!!!

Hello, I recently went onto Guild Wars 1 to see if I had any mini pets so I could gain more Hall of Monuments points. I managed to squeeze 2 more points out of my mini’s which set me at 14 points. I really want to get to 15 points so that I can acquire the Black Moa for my new ranger on Guild Wars 2. Is there any awesome fellow guild wars 1&2 players out there who may be able to help me out? I only need 1 point and I would appreciate any help. If it helps any I have 19 mini’s and I’m not sure but I think I can get one more point if I hit 20? I believe it will remain available to all character levels after the event. Also it is designed with level 80s in mind considering one of the items you can exchange tokens for gives you a skillpoint.

Hey I’m posting this for my guild leader as she has problems getting on the forums. Anyway her UI keeps disappearing randomly while in Fire Heart Rise. She can’t access the menus at the top of the screen, her skills, map, and chat disappear, and none of her hot keys to access menus work either. Anyone else experience this and know whats causing this? And yes she is aware of Ctrl-Shift-H that hides your UI and she already stated that she thought this is what was happening but it apparently isn’t. Please help if you can

I had this same issue, and the same location, i had already been to the chantry but thats where my map completion stuff appeared at for some reason.

How do I open a ticket with the GM department? I just sent a regular support ticket.

I’m pretty certain I’ve never forgotten one considering I aim at completing maps 100% and I always rummage through the rewards, also my character selection screen says i have 99% but in game it says 100%…..

I just 100% the world on my Asuran Elementalist and I did not receive my gifts of exploration! I got my Been there Done that Achievement/Title but I didn’t get my Star or my gifts! Please tell me I’m not screwed on this?!

When I hit 60, my Jewelcrafting was around 300, and even though I dumped money into it, I still had several gold at that level. I would suggest selling crafting mats that you do not use, and also adventure in higher level areas. Make sure you 100% maps since the later ones give you about 20+ silver, but also give you exotics you can sell at least above 50 silver each. I typically salvage all blues, and whites, but if you need extra money, selling blues and greens you don’t need at vendors will help out a lot(though i suggest checking some greens on the tp just in case). Doing events help out, and if you need new gear, you can find some nice things at the karma vendors so you don’t spend more gold on gear.
