Renegade hero feels very weak for pvp. Stun break should be in another utility other than the heal, also healing from Kalla is pretty low.

Shortbow skills cost too much energy. skill 4 and 5 are ok, the damage from 1 ,2 and 3 are very low.

Renegade tratline feels weaker than basic revenant traitlines.

My opinion is, Renegade feels underwhelming and is useless.

To be honest, by looking at the Renegade elite spec i also think they are underwhelming and boring.

I wish we could equip Glint legend with renegade Traitline.

When i started i felt revenant was the perfect profession for me, loved it. Then they started nerfing it at pvp and i had to start playing warrior. Then they nerfed Rev in Raids then i started playing Warrior in raids. And i hate the balance team for it, ruined my favorite class. Now i only play Rev in WvW and PvE, hoping they’ll show rev some love.

I expect new gear to farm, new areas filled mobs to kill, better balanced classes in pvp, new tyrian masteries, better (new mechanics) world bosses, revamped HoT maps events, GvG events. Aside from these ofcourse new elites specs. with cool spammable animation skills. That’ll do.

I’ve played this condi rev build thinking now power rev is dead. It is fun but not nearly as good as condi warrior….

This season rev is dead. You better of playing Engi, Guard, Warrior or Thief for some “Fun”.

You can do Vale Guardian as a rev, but it’s not optimal and not recommended for the rest of the other raid bosses.

Please Bring back the Jungle Explorer Outfit.

Staff 5 wasn’t a bad nerf for me but precision strike nerf sucked bad.

Anyway, i wish staff 4 would’ve atleast energy cost and cast time reduced. The cast time is so slow by the time you want to cleanse conditions you are dead.

Btw if they want to force condi rev, they should fix mace skills, skill 2 should be a flame wave projectile kinda thing, so it would hit on uneven terrain.

Looks like a fun build, i’ve always wanted a 100% quickness uptime while having decent stats. i’ll try this when i get home.

Guess i’ll wait for season 6. Atleast i can switch to WvW.

This balance team is just out of this world, unbelievable.

They destroyed my beloved rev….this really rewally sucks. I dont get it, why force revenant play condi since mace skills still very buggy….

Pros:

• no rotation, so noob friendly
• good fury, swiftness and protection uptime
• there are no bad weapons, because there is nothing to compare
• great for gathering, JP and doing your daily stuff because of the perma fury and swiftness
• not the worst DPS, yet…
• can sometimes ignore instakill mechanics with glints heal
• bugs can make you laugh, sometimes

Cons:

• no rotation, so extremely bland
• no variety in weapons
• no variety in traits/utilities
• no racial utilities (seriously anet, why?!)
• no build variety
• jack of all trades, and sucking at all of them
• barely any condi removal
• still an unfinished class
• gets nerfed every patch
• no facet of quickness
• not allowed in raids, except MAYBE escort
• bugs still present since day 1 (just make sword 3 remove confusion and you fixed 1 bug already. it’s not that hard)

And still, I always find myself playing my rev in PvE. I once made the rev my main and altough I want to switch back to guard, I can’t. Probably lack of perma swiftness/fury. I don’t WvW or PvP with my rev, but looking at other threads should give you a general idea what the rev lacks.

A Facet for Quickness would be stupid broken….. the Shiro skill is good just needs to have the upkeep lowered.

In skyrim when you turn into a vampire you can do this too.

Crafting to max is the fastest way. Garanteed 15 levels per profession.
20 minutes to level each profession to max using only XP booster (500).

I have The Ascension and i have to desagree with you. The new back / glider is cool and all but its too big as a back item. And the Ascension is too awesome

It’s short but you can notice what i’m talking about.

Looks cool and all but you can do it w/o macro and if the guy dodge it you just find yourself with cooldowns leading to your death.

It does looks great, unfortunatly you’ll only find when its available at the gem store =/

They are ok. Be careful with condi and know your role.

The only thing macros are good in Gw2 is to play instrument, otherwise we have so few skills ,using a macro will only cripple you in pvp, trust me…

The best solution is to keybind the best setup for you and train.

Everytime ppl mention new elite they tie the idea of it having a weapon not yet used by the class.

Maybe it could still use the same weapon but once you equip the elite traitline, the class could get new weapon skills.

I main a rev, but im not happy about getting nerfed to the point we’re out off raids.

I have to agree, this outfit is pretty awesome! i really really like it.

I main a rev and had the same problem until i leveled a warrior for raids. Still i’m doing vale guardian as rev.

Like some ppl said, level another class, join a raid group and try your way in as a rev.

Terrible changes so far, as i was especting…Nerfenant is not even close the class it was when i started playing it. Now i’m just waiting to get a useless weapon and skills for the next especialization to quit rev for good.

If they decrease the protection skill upkeep cost to compensate it would be nice. But they won’t, this is Nerfenant… every patch we get nerfed as always.

I like the idea of meta events from HoT maps much more than doing repeatable hearts.

Rev need more weapon choices and more efficient Jalis and Ventari.

Ember bay – looks pretty sick! graphics, new monsters difficulty are great. Farming seems cool also.

PvP map arena – A little too big but very fun. Looks great. But didn’t like very much the revive buff and the buffing mechanic.

The story looks very promising and interessing on the active dragons. I liked how you handled Rytlock going to the mists and i’m looking forward to see what happened there.
Maybe throw Lions that attack only the enemy team instead of the buff.

The only thing keeping me on this game is HoT content.

When i 1st discovered the downed state…. saw a pack of wolfes and attacked thinking they were easy. The result? one of them was a veteran wolf and found myself “fighting to survive”

You’re not the only one, that jumping puzzle was hard once i got the 1st time that i needed the mastery. Now that i don’t need it, feels pretty easy to get there >.>

HoT maps are absolutely amazing. So many events going on feels like it’s more real. After awhile my favorite map is TD, so complex and beautiful. Also the forest theme helps a lot.

The characters effects doesn’t bother me.

This season is giving me more often even matches till t3 ruby, dont know about diamond and legendary div yet >.>

For casual pvpers who started in the second or third season this achievement in particular is the worst. Many won’t get the wings i see >.>

Nice video. I’ve always used axe with my rev, never really liked shield. It’s good to see ppl trying something else. Btw nice video, it’s so good to see some ppl care about rev still. Last video you posted i said your enemies sucked but in fact you’re quite a good rev.

Best map so far for me, having so much fun. The mechaninc of the map is fun, if you focus on cap points the other team can focus on cannons and both are pvp related, needing both teams to fight over it, not some kind of “kill the commander and earn 150 points” pve thing.
The only con i have with this map is it too large as Aza stated above…. still not a bad issue.

So since the patch dropped on July 26th, I can definitely feel the nerf on most classes when it comes to staying alive for a long time. With the small nerfs our class got I feel like we are very much a power house when it comes to damage and mobility. I would really love for this REV hate to stop and the miss information of our class to be said correctly. Rev’s are a heavy class that deals massive damage and has mobility of a thief. That being said if you are new to this game and are being told otherwise please close your ears and “YELL LEROY!” until they stop talking. It is a fun class and very rewarding once learned and played right. Win or lose Revs are fun and very different from any class in any game you have played. ANET has done a good job with it, they just need to finish it and make these bug fixes go away. By any means it is not the perfect class, but if you’re looking for a heavy that has mobility and damage this is what I recommend. Enjoy!

Same here, camara bug. by the time camera fixed i was already dead.
UA not landing very often and this patch made it worse.

~Bought it and love it. But its really bothering me also that the back color does not match with the glider.
