Sorry but no anet employee ever said “they might” add another race.
This is a pretty good post/point/question.
It might have been overlooked.
So I suppose I’m not going to get an answer as now my topic has been moved here.
You know, without the Moderator that moved it, actually doing something about it or mentioning to someone from the Mac department.

I’m aware there are people that are suppose to take care of the Mac forum, the point is
THEY DON’T.
I’m aware there is a Mac Forum board but everyone knows no Anet employee would ever visit it so I’m posting here.
Any idea as to how long I’ll have to keep lagging when in WvW or if I turn the shaders up so the game at least looks decent?
The game has been in “beta” for mac users since mac went live and I’m almost 100% there isn’t even a team working on improving it because it’s been 100% the same since day 1.
I’m grateful I can play but why allow me to play if you’re going to completely shrug it off?

All these threads come up again and again and they have the same answer.
After the champion purses were introduced the players noticed that the rewards were too generous (when using zergs on group content) and made trains to cash in, immediately, in large numbers. The designers noticed it too and made fixes many months later. So everyone could see that it was too generous, and that is why it was popular, and it has inevitably been fixed. End of story.
If you’ve got complaints about farming then consider this. Farmers gravitate to the points in the game where the rewards for challenge/time are most generous. These are always going to be the points in the game that are out of balance and the most likely to get rebalanced later.
You act as if I didn’t know this already. I am aware of why farming gets nerfed.
That is NOT the issue.
The issue is the fact that farming continues to get nerfed time after time while people that flip items on the trading system are left unscathed. Their “farming method” has always been the same and has never been nerfed and yet it produces a MUCH HIGHER amount of gold into the game than “true farming” ever could. Yes trading uses gold that is already in the game but with the listing fees, what does it matter?
I simply don’t understand why players that farm via combat are reduced to ashes while players that farm via trading get to shine bright.
Every single farming method that has ever been discovered has been nerfed without fail.
What should I do? Flip items on the Grand Exchange?
Cause apparently people that use the GE as their money making method are:
1) Immune to getting nerfed.
2) Able to make far more money than any farmer ever.
3) Never have to worry about how to make money because this method has never changed.
I fail to see why people that actually “play the game” and farm are told NO.
Yet people that “play the game” and sit idle while they buy and sell things on the GE are told nothing.
There should be some consistency.
If farming gets nerfed because it is seen as not playing the game and gives too good of rewards, then why shouldn’t flipping items get nerfed somehow?
They aren’t playing the game either and actually get more out of it.
Where’s the balance?
The top richest players benefit once again and continue to make money without limit, while the rest of the players have to think about how they will make money now. Again.
Because they got nerfed. Again.
Where’s the balance? You can’t just nerf the things all the average players do and not do anything to the things that the above average players do.

I’m not saying they aren’t other issues, but I would have assumed that because the Legendary Rework was so recent, that they would have done something about this by now. I mean Legendaries are the biggest item in the kitten game to go for and they ignore the BIGGEST one. Yeah it finally got updated and given effects, but Jesus, at least make sure it works correctly instead of just being like “Lol here you go, have nice day”

Would be nice if one of these many patches we have had actually fixed the graphical issues with Eternity such as no burst of energy when drawing weapon and no weapon trail on certain guardian/mesmer skills.

This is great, it’s too bad Anet doesn’t know the suggestion forums exist.
I’m assuming this means mat prices will drop if we are given an alternate version of the same items.
I thought maybe prices would rise since it seems a lot of the content uses mats.. but if there are normal powerful bloods and acc bound powerful bloods, what will happen?

I was around when it first came out and I’ve done two of the “stories” I suppose but then I quit playing.. (I’m 2/4 Living Story I think)
What is the purpose? They appear to be “quests” but the rewards are extremely lackluster and not worth the time. I thought this content was a way to keep people playing the game after they have accomplished everything..
As it stands now.. I still have nothing to strive for or an endgame to participate in.
P.S. I have all the armors and weapons I want including a legendary, ascended, shiny fotm back piece, etc.

Your not going to get a response from ANet, It’s a question that has been asked many many times before and they obviously read right over it and offer no information whatsoever.
I could care less how long it takes to gear up via Laurels, what I want to know is this:
WHY the heck can’t we get ascended gear (other than rings/back pieces obviously) from doing FRACTALS, you know, the content that requires it!@@@@@@@@@@@
I don’t think I’ve seen an answer on this…..
Edit: Yes, I know it was intended to give players alternate ways to obtain the gear, I just don’t think anyone saw it coming that you can’t get it the original way as well.
(Which was completely fine by the way..)

I was honestly expecting Spirit Weapons to get a buff whenever the next class changes hit.

Are these 5 craftable minis able to be used the create the quaggan? Or is that only the minis from the mystery box?
I understand there are ways to avoid this from happening but thats not the issue. The issue is that getting kicked when the Host leaves, shouldn’t even occur.
The simple fact that when Hosts leave the party, it kicks everyone from the dungeon is unacceptable and horrible programming. I’m no longer wasting my time doing a dungeon, just for the host to bail and cause me to receive nothing. This is especially irritating when doing Arah because it is so long and hence why I’m upset right now. I just spent two hours in the dungeon and the Host had to leave so GF progress, kicked.
Stop introducing gear progression and fix the real problems this game has.

I have seen toilet paper on the ground on certain maps in which you can throw it around a couple of times but I also received an actual toilet paper item from my Mad King Chest and I’ve heard nothing about it. Is this the same toilet paper and it will disappear after some throws or is it a permanent throwing item? (that would be awesome)
It is only day 2, Event 1. Everyone is raging and seems to think everything this Halloween Event has to offer has been released already. There is still a good week worth of content and I am sure by the end of this all, most of you guys with entitlement issues will be happy. Give ANet a break, they did a good job and I am happy I participated thus far. Props to this great company for taking the time to release such fun content/achievements and not caving in to upset and angry players.
