I love how GW2 is taking the path that killed WildStar PvP: more and more AoE and AI, less and less skilled gameplay.

It’s just way too much spam happening at the same time to be eSports. GW2 is just eSpam in it’s current state. Vanilla gw2 was better.

Or just buy a new pre-pack when you can afford it. Free ascended back.

Yes, it it really is, and the metabuilds dominating other builds. Especially necro and scrappers. And with the last corrupt boon pacth, necro is just broken.. I think we all have experienced atleast 5 or more matches with 4++ necros these days.

Yes, it works. When im moa’ed as a mesmer my Phantashmal Defender still activates if i have aegis.. Its funny tho.. Moa phantasm

And not to forget that if you AFK in a ranked match and win 4 vs 5, you get to advance in the Year of the Ascension achievements too.. Then who wouldn’t want that? Anet is not doing anything about afk’ers anyway. :o

Yeah, but there is already a win for a specific class, so why not get two in one?

The new PvP “Daily PvP matches played in unranked or ranked arena” is promoting players to go AFK, even from the start. Anet, you obviously haven’t learned from Dragon Ball, and are now ruining PvP with non-PvP players just going afk to get one easy daily point.

Why on earthy couldn’t you make it a WIN?? So simple solution.

I play engineer and totally agree with this.. Scrapper is “required” now for playing engie! It’s really sad, and once again we’re in a pvp leuage with not enough balance.

Can we expect to have the 1st year halloween skins return for the new players and veterans that never acquired the skins with a different way such as a skin or quest reward?

Please, don’t bring back the 2012 BLC skins. Please, let there be some prestige old-time items in this game. The veterans who where there had their chance.
And why should new players access the skins while they weren’t around the first time?
Why should everybody have everything? When that day comes in GW2, it will be a really sad day.
So Anet, when end-game is about fasion, please don’t disappoint your older player base.

I agree with all saying the iAvenger need it’s range back.
A lot of people play a ranged mesmer and want to place the alclarity buff where they want it. This pleases both melee and ranged.

So make it ranged, no bouncing, with an AoE attack (purple explotion with butterflies, please) on hit. It pulses alacrity around himself, just like before.
This is not an advanced phanthasm, and it’s just the same as the trait Illusonary Inspiration, only that’s with regen.

I know you have tested this internally, Robert, but please let the players test it too.

Yes, I main a mesmer, and PU is a was cheesy trait.

Really looking forward to BWE3 to test the avenger. I want to test it before complaining any further, but as an elite spec, there should be room for a bit ‘advanced’ phanthasm.

I’m looking at the ranged as the best choice.
- you are better equipped to place alacrity where you want it to be.
- and your phanthasm isn’t going to run into it’s death.

It should stay ranged, but the slow has to follow the attack and though should be tuned.
Some of the suggestions over are really good, but for the sake of calling it an avenger, let him throw the shield f.ex. a range of 900, when shield hits foe it does a bit of damage and proc an AoE slow. When the shield returns it proc AoE alacrity.
This way we could se some skilled counterplay by interrupting or blocking the phanthasms attack.

Not sure if I like this change at all, very sceptical about this one. Sure, I want to test it first – but placing phantasms in melee range, and only hitting one target with slow at the time is a big nerf overall to this one.
Also giving alacrity only to the melee part of the group.
In full melee range this phantasm wil be pretty useless in both PvE and PvP, making it easy to kill.
I would probaly want the old functionality back, with shorter range on the bouncing projectile (if that is the issue at all if it’s ranged.)

The overall theme of the chronomacer and wells feels like it synergies better overall with melee / power builds. I wish there was some confusion or torment on atleast 1 well for mesmers who like conditions.

PLEASE MARK WHAT IS GEM SHOP EXCLUSIVE

With this mordremoth event, a few of the earlier exclusive skins was from the gem shop wich I bought with real money. If I ever knew ther where obtainable in-game sometime, I would just waited.

I feel this is really unfair, and I will always have second thoughts about buying skins ever again.
I know people will reason this with “you got it earlier”, but that’s not the case. It’s the principle that matter!

I hope they do more of the “aetherblade” event styled rewards. Was much more fun, and loot was obtainable. :o
I feel the loot is behind a time gate, forcing you to “hit-and-run” evry event and staying for the whole duration.

I hope Anet is just testing the terrain.

You eather love it or hate it. Simple as that.
But I would say there was more “annoyingness” with mesmer in GW1.
People who can play it – love it, people who can’t kill it – hate it.

+1 for Robert, you did a really good job on the mesmer changes.
But please, I beg you on my knees for me and the rest of the mesmer community, please stop with the over nerfs.

Yea, these are good suggiestions. At this nerf rate arenanet will take the joy out of the mesmer before even HoT hits.

But a 10 sec ICD? Thats a pretty long time.. And why are they only nerfing mesmers? There are other way more OP skills to look at..

I can’t get it to work either. Nor does it update the skill description on my healing skills. People in chat have said that one have to retrait for it to work, but how can I retrait a minor trait?

Edit: It does work, just not updating the skill description on my healing skills. You can hear the sound of power clense and conditions are removed.

So Echo of Memory is the third skill with just a 1-hit block.. (okay, 2 hit block if you can actually block an attack)
Gah, I was hoping for some more survivability with the shield, like a 2-3 sec block like other classes have..

Yeah, Im hoping this is a slip, and the achievement is back in the game when the new patch comes later on today/tomorrow.

Where did the Jubilee Daily achivement go?
I needed 1 more for completing the meta “Queen’s Jubilee Completionist” achievement.

I totally agree with OP, especially damage wise. Even if it’s AoE, the damage is too low to be worth it in the long run. I hope they fix it soon!
