in Beta i did find a lot of missing things but i thought within a week or tow after release or during beta things well change but what really happened is that the game was just the same only that they made it playable for noobs in beta 1 i spend 2days leveling to level 11 in my thief while now you level up to 80 in 4/5 days tops spamming world vs world and some events that never end.

PVP is Seriously a JOKE no need for skills what so ever spam your 12345 keys very good and quickly and you well win this is worst than i thought its like the pvp in Mist Of Panadaria just spam your keys and hope you win.

SPECIALLY the whole (no raid thing) is seriously Weird and makes joining a guild Useless because whats good is a guild if there was NO Progress to do?

MMO games are changing to fevor the player who plays 2 or 3 hours a day or less than the player who spends 9 to 10 hours or more playing an mmo game

what is the point when you kill someone in 5/10 seconds without any thinking what so ever, in my warrior i just throw a net on them and burst them with my 100blades ability and suddenly their dead…why they die? i don’t get it, i don’t want to kill someone just like that i want the fight to last longer making it more fun to play.

am sorry if you want to 3 shot everything front of you just like that then this game is no different than world of Warcraft it is just the same thing in a pvp prescriptive

Remove Clones in PVP.

a ranger with a pet…Ok sure he is a ranger in any mmo a ranger well have a pet.

a caster with 4 pets is seriously stupid what was the development team thinking when he made a class that has 4 pets running with it, then all i can do is send my pets to attack and i can just hit my enemy with range attacks (like if that well make me look so skilled)

This is not my game i do not own it or am telling the people who own this game what to do but as a Customer and a player am leaving my thoughts in this game that i have been waiting for all year long and in the end it turn out to be 100% something it is not.

1-You dont farm anything in pvp beside looking good in pvp and you cant gank anyone in pvp because he well be having an army behind him in world vs world or if it was in a normal battle ground then it is Impossible to beat tow players in this game due burst damage, unless its tow people without keyboards or if they both are low hp.

2-has anyone noticed that you cant duel? you cant do any real arenas with ladders and ranking? because Everyone well start Whining and the troll posts well rise up and the QQ well never end the cycle of hate and Umad threads well never stop simply because everyone well die in seconds.

from the PVE side. general/story mode the entire game is great but when it comes to pvp i think arena net dont really know how to make a good pvp system now i understand why we well Never have duels/2v2/3v3 not because they dont want to be like other mmo games specially world of warcraft but because all classes do Crazy Burst damage.

has anyone lasted more than 30seconds fighting anyone 1v1 ? or some how could kite 3/4 people? i dont think so.

basically world of warcraft sucks but i find guild wars 2 pvp even worst, or even the same in a way when it comes to low CC and high burst damage SAME THING IN EACH MMO NOWADAYS its like players want to one shot anything front of them and think they are awesome and OP etc etc.

i played each class in pvp and i was destroying people by hitting few keys , it did Not take me more than 1minute to understand the class in pvp now am not saying i want to spend a whole year to understand a class am saying whats up with the burst damage in the game when it comes to pvp and why arena net added all the hype about balance in pvp since everyone gets 3shoted this is Not fun.

in my warrior i just hit few keys and finish my enemy just like that without any strategy what so ever.

basically when the system is like this and there is No death matches its better for arena net to remove/add new things a lot easier than working on making classes require brains to use and strategy to but into pvp, in one side PVE is great but in the side of pvp the game is Un Play Able what so ever, with zero fun and the entire reward system does not make sense.

i have seen few topics on what to do at 80 but still i am still looking for what to do as a hradcore player

so far all i found is things evolves nothing but farming while in my previous mmo which i quit playing a year and few months ago it kind a made sense because i farmed YES but for entering better content and must of all a lot more enjoying! and must important thing is i had to do it with a guild that i had to be loyal to and make new friends with.

but in guild wars 2 am lost…….

i got sick and tired of my sword that looks like a piece of iron

so i got to rank 8 yesterday and had around 2500 glory , spent some on rank 1/10 vendor now i know am not that super awesome rank guy am just getting started but the thing is people kept telling me to use the forge and that really made me feel that i must get Lucky in order to get the weapon to come out, and must of all felt Grindy i remamber arena net said they are not a farming mmo but i can see that way.

now i gotta save my glory till rank 40 and wait for a long time so i make sure i well have some….luck to gear….
i mean REALLY? was it hard to have items in the pvp locker sold with X amount glory ? or yeah right i should get…Lucky in order to get items

please guys dont get me wrong all i want is to have fun in pvp in this game if 2v2-3v3 is not an option then make 5v5 a death match and not a BG like match cuz 5v5 capture point arena feels like a premade vs premade match:(

You’re way too used to WoW.
This game’s PvP is not supposed to be working like the Arenakitten1 combo 1 kill that it is in WoW. “You cant burst someone down: Flawed” <- wth ? haha.
I’d much rather have a game without frostmages using 3 skills in a combo to 1shot your face if you’re out of defensive cooldowns, that sort of gameplay is proper bs.

You don’t have 5 abilities, most proffesions have around 15 to use, what are you talking about ?

Necros are crazy good if not in the hands of a kitten scrub that has no clue how boons and conditions work. Some bugged traits, yet still they can slaughter. Ele’s are too un-rewarding for the high skillcap of the proff, i agree. But these are just minor minor balancing issues, and the game isn’t even a month old. I seriously do hope you’re trolling here.

“Dodge removes the skill factor” ….. It’s one of the fewer tools in this game at actually requires skill and awareness. Proper usage of your energy ( and focusing on having the vigor boon up ) separates scrubs from good players. If a player pays attention to his opponent and properly reads how he’s about to play he can avoid a spike of damage if the opponent is careless. This ADDS to the skill factor.

There is 1 job with evade spam, possibly two. Rangers and thiefs. And even if a Thief spams away his lotus, the damage output is low as kitten, and ground-aoe’s and well-timed knockbacks screw them over in a second. Try to play the game and actually learn how to counter things out before blatantly claiming things to be unbalanced, and ontop of that the things you claim to be unbalanced is what 8v8 hotjoin scrubs moan about. (heartseeker spamming for instance, which was by far the most useless thing a thief could do vs someone with half a brain.)

There’s a reason why the “water map” is not in tournaments, it’s in the hotjoin PvP because thats where people go tokittenaround when they are bored. If you want proper PvP go play Tournaments. And don’t say “what if i just want to play on my own and have some fun, without a bad underwater map”
I’m pretty sure no other game had fun-solo PvP either. WoW for instance, nothing was more boring than solo play battlegrounds.

1/10 to this post, 90% of the things in your text is just pure l2p issues.
I agree that the PvP has alot to improve, which i’m 100% sure they will. Yet none of the ACTUAL issues were stated in your list of “bad things”. Such as having different modes, bigger tournaments, more maps, just a larger PvP experience in general. The balancing and the combat of the game is absolutely fine. It’s the things around it that needs some work.

TL;DR: Op needs to play more PvP and actually figure out how this game is built up, and that it’s not kitten world of wartard.

I agree that classes are balanced i played a thief then engineer then i find out that i was not good at those tow classes so i decide to try the warrior class and i enjoy’d it pretty much am good at it.

but back to the point where you said people want the game to be like wow, well i dont want it to be like wow but i want the system to change, the idea that i go random play with random people in battlegrounds is not fun and the idea that battlegrounds match ends seriously fast is also not fun, it did not really feel like a battle between tow teams it felt more of a farming glory battlegrounds ,wait for the other team that is obviously winning and wait for some glory to get rank 40 and nothing happens.

because there is No Duels which is Weird i did not see that coming in guild wars 2 i thought duels would of been implemented but its not.

i could not agree more with you here, i see the game and it is GREAT which is the part that drives me crazy but i dont see any great system supports PVP-PVE , now am 90% pvp guy and i did not see any post from arena net on duels or arenas etc etc
i give the game another 2/3months and then we get instant queue to eternal battlegrounds know why?

PS:wow arena failed because of healers and tanks and gear problems and the huge Unbalance issue in game while in guild wars 2 there is You and that all matters , all the classes you dont know how to play good its not the class its you.

fix it please!

first of all i love world vs world but there are few points not allowing me to play world vs world at all.

1-Eternal Battlegrounds Queue takes 2 to 3hours ……..now i understand there are 100s of players Queue to Eternal Battlegrounds too but it does not mean i have to wait forever the Queue is annoying and increase the amount of players who can enter Eternal Battlegrounds because after 2hours wait for a Queue i find out my team is 40/50 players tops and only 30/35 of them are actually doing something while the rest are exploring and gathering skill points.

2-Other World Vs World’s i choose i usually sometimes get an instant Queue but the problem is i always end up having instant Queue for the losing team that does not have enough players to conquer the map and be able to do something and have fun.

3-DC====>Wait another 2/3hours for Queue. and that does not happen just from the internet also from the game its self i find myself at character selection with a big facepalm again….also must of the time when i Queue to any World VS World i DC and find myself at the character selection.

4-Allow Raid Grouping…seriously i mean how can guilds can make World VS World runs without having 30/40 players in one group and with a leader leading the group to what to do.
i understand there is MAP chat but not all people listen to everything they read infect must of them dont really care and play solo and end up dead but with a leader in charge specially when its a guild run the players whom in group well listen to the leader.

so i am trying to finish my story and come cross this area , its a really cool area btw but problem is if i fight one moob then another jumps in then i kill him and then am fighting 3moobs and a second later more and more come.

now i have a really good rotation in leveling am level 76 , am not saying i want to kill 11 moobs alone am saying reduce the amount of them in that area there most be 1000000 of em out there.

and i know an mmo is about team work specially this one but problem is the personal story is not there for i ask you please reduce the amount of them and also why when i kill so many of them they spwan way fast like if am fighting chuck noris’s cloans

i know what you mean and its hard for you but here is the thing people dont get about warrior in pvp is that they dont know how to play it good now am not top warrior in game
but i also stopped using my ability’s at full duration.

for example when your using the Hundred blade ability dont use all of it the enemy well usually run away so instantly use Whirlwind attack forword against him and slow him with Bladetrail and then switch to Bow and use Combustive shot along with Pin down ability to Immobilize him afterwords use arcing arrow and his yours

this compo works for me not sure if other players have tried this before or not but its imba:D

also Always dodge dodge dodge because we are used to our previous mmo games for too long and this game is almost 1month old its normal that we dont use dodge much.

focus your attacks and you well do good.

but only make it Viable in The Heart Of The Mist because its 100% balanced there with no excuses.

Actually I feel the opposite. PvP seems just about perfect to me, and pve (especially De’s) requires a lot of improvements. Still having a blast leveling though.

yeah the leveling and zones and specially when i go to an area where my level is reduced is amazing only that i am waiting for a solid pvp system

i have been waiting for this game for a year and few months like anyone else, everything in the game is great and perfect from the amazing story line to the amazing events that never ends Specially when taking an area back from the enemy!

the only problem i found out so far and after playing each beta/stress test and now since 25th august is the lack of pvp participation, it does not have the feeling to get to rank 40 at all.

classes are balanced 1VS1 and all of them are fun to play but the reason pvp is bad is that there is no SYSTEM to make pvp fun and make players hurry to participate in it at all.

i mean lets face it, why would i spend a week or tow to farm glory to get rank 40 and then thats it no duels no rating on arenas or any of that.

people hate arenas from wow but people also forget one important thing
that Blizzard Fail and regraded arenas because they had healers and tank spec in pvp which ruined the entire game not to mention resilience and 40minutes 2v2 fights that never ended.

i am not complaining here am just seeking an answer from Arena Net on their next step for PVP in this game because i well level up to 80 i well finish my storys and explore the entire map but i also want to pvp.

Duels.

i dont understand why players or some players are against the dueling system.
in other mmo games pvp is seriously bad and all classes are just like world of warcraft 2 of them are OP and rest is unplayable but in this game guild wars 2 there is NO Over Powered class at all, you play the class that suits you the most and make your own gameplay in pvp
basically arena net has successed in making an mmo that is about the player not class but without a solid pvp system for it.

Arenas

Why arenas have place in the same as battleground area and it ends Fast, i mean in 1minute i just afk and watch the score end fast.
2V2 is a great way to start arenas in this game.
it well be 100% based on players and not based on the class/setup.
incorages players to work together.

Nothing wrong with classes its just needs a solid pvp system to increase pvp participation.

excuse me if there was an arena net post about arenas in pvp future or duels for that matter but i feel sad to see such a balanced pvp game not have a solid pvp system at all.

Spamming for duels is no excuse. There are games with a simple checkbox that disables incoming duel requests.

i predicted that someone well say he does not like get spammed for duel requests so i said make it available only in heart of the mist and also make an option in interface to reject all duel requests.

whats so ironic is that pvp in guild wars2 is balanced, but no duels.

Blizzard FAIL in arenas in world of warcraft beccause there is healers

i played wow for 6whole years and one thing made arena bad and fail is the existing of healers…100% of arena teams had healers and the gear problem as well made arenas in wow fail too.

but in this game there is no healers there is no gear differences only thing that different is the players skill.

Why there is no duels allowed in this game?
you got perfect balanced system in the Heart Of the Mist:(

everyone has the same gear
no one level is high’r than anyone else
the area is big enough for players to duel in it

Allow Dueling Only IN The Heart Of The Mist because its the only area where pvp is balanced.
in World Vs World Vs World you got players with different type of gear and in the normal areas there is the level advantage.

Dueling improve players skill and add a big challenge to servers in game to find out where the skilled players are.

and again please dont QQ with the (but i hate people spamming me with duel requests)
i said allow it in heart of the mist where its a pvp area where you should be doing nothing but pvp and dueling players is pvp.
