It only make sense for Engineer to use Grenade launcher to have grenade target @ 1600 range. If he do it with his arm only, he should be able to power punch people to death anyway.

It would be weird since the situation I experienced, on screen I am just standing within a siege engine, nothing more. (all weapon skill and utility skills normal) No other visual indication except you cannot move.
Can do a screenshot next time anyway.

This screen I counted 22 SBI (all downed lol), and from the minimap, at least 27 green dots (BP).
I agree it is hard to get exact number from minimap.
I do believe both of your screen capture have included more BP on screen than SBI.
Also both screen shows 2 BP commander on the same map.
Glad to see our opponent brings both number and gold commitment to the battlefield. GLHF.
Nice work BP, kind enough to enlight us on how you can sqeeze thru a closed gate?
Note: 2 + 1 pet goes thru before gate is down, see one body on floor on the right side.
With 10 men against 3, actually I think this is a bit overkill, what do you think?
What Venom related trait / effects are shared by Venomous Aura (SA XII)?

of the Thief character are not shared, correct?
How about traits like:
Potent Poison (Increases poison duration by 33%)
Lotus Poison (Weaken targets for 3 seconds whenever you poison them)
Venomous Strength (When applied, venoms grant 2 stacks of might for 20 seconds)
Residual Venom (Applied venoms last one extra strike)
Leeching Venoms (Steal health when triggering a venom. This can only occur once per strike)
Are these effects applied to allies?
And when a thief share Spider Venom with another player (e.g. an Ele) who land an AoE which hit 5 targets, that Ele used up all 5 Spider Venom strikes, correct?
If Leeching Venoms works on the Ele too, will he get the 5 heals in 1 AoE?
Edit for extra question:
If a thief share venom with another player dealing the same condition, say to share Ice Drake Venom to an Ele who use Freezing Gust, will the Chill stack?
Basilisk Venom and other stun don’t stack, correct?

Not to mention you have a lot of skilled players, always nice fight with AR. And on top of that, you keep it civil. Not once I have been /laugh or sit on by AR (happens quite a lot with some servers).

Honest question: I want our server to be better @ WvW, so besides being bad sport, what else did we mess up?
Rating says SBI should win while our score says the opposite, must be something we did very wrong. What did you saw from AR/ BP perspective?
Is it we die too fast? Not organized enough? Lousy defense?
I wish you(both AR&BP) can share and in the end we all have a better game. Thanks.
Guys / gals from AR, huge respect to you. With your own BL all blue, you still have nice amount of players committed to defending, which included upgrading all the camps & towers, taking the quaggan, and really putting man & a seige or two in every camp. People respond quickly to swords, and reinforcement comes promptly.

Happy to fight against you this week, hope we @ SBI can provide some good fight that you would enjoy. I am starting to understand what BP means by their “love interest” to AR.

You want to know what’s even scarier? Our numbers pale in comparison to some servers.
Absolutely glad to be fighting someone else this week, there were a lot of great battles from everyone. Keep it up!
I can’t imagine how many people are playing WvW on our server (SBI) either. Where did all these people come from? I don’t think we’ve queued all 4 maps since like October. What the heck? We could’ve used them last week.
They will be gone when all POI and Vista have been checked in the Green region.
Have been over 3 months since last time SBI is green
When the system give most of us the most balanced matchup, meaning facing the same servers for the 14th week, people say the game is stale.
When the system add randomness and as a result some matchup will be unbalanced (server population is unbalanced inherently), people say the game is unbalanced and can’t see why randomness is introduced.
With the server population stabilized at this stage, you simply can’t have both (balanced & frequent server rotation)
So what actually do you want? You have to pick one.
And who said WvW matchups have to be balanced in the first place?
Out of all the posts in professions section, warrior section is the only section where people are endlessly posting their ideas to replace/improve the existing skills sets they are given because of how lackluster their class is compared to every single other class.
There is so much doom and gloom its just mind blogging, I made sure to check necromancer’s section too and necros could use help for sure but aren’t in anywhere near the sad state as warriors.
There is a classes which are poor/strong in certain areas and classes like warrior who are the laughing stock of the entire sPvP community that even the dev themselves laugh and are widely known as a “free kill”. I’ll keep playing warrior because I find it entertaining when I pummel the lesser skilled players in a 1v1 as a warrior.
Because Warrior is a beginner class with lowest skill floor. (edit: this do not mean Warrior can not be skillful)
This class attract players that QQ most.
When one have actually played 3 or 4 other professions in all game modes, they will not consider Warrior a underpowered class.

I used to believe I can beat the odds, or at least what I do in WvW against higher pop servers mean something. Now I have doubts.
“Players may only have one of a given trap type deployed at a time.”
Assume all other things being equal, the server with more players have more traps active. So now the higher pop server not just have the number advantage in head count, they have more traps too to hinder lower pop servers to make a come back.
Think what will spamming supply trap do at the camps with limited exits (eg. Dane or Pang in EB), and choke points near towers (eg. tunnel near SE tower, the Z-slope running up to the NE/NW towers in BL). Small grp (less than 10) have difficulty assaulting keeps with 2~3 defensive ACs after the AC buff, now they have hard time get 2 rams setup if they got sapped by one or two supply traps.
Zerg can handle traps when they can afford 1 or 2 ppl to run ahead and trigger before the main force. For smaller groups every supply counts. One more supply run means higher risk to be wiped by enemy zerg before objective is captured.
Stealth traps makes hiding and harass tactics much harder to pull off, which is pretty much all smaller groups / solo can do now. Stealth thieves are against much higher odds if they choose to hide in keeps to contest and distract enemy zerg; mesmers will find their usual hiding spots laid with traps, much harder stay hidden in crucial seconds and prepare for portal.
I may be very wrong, and I do enjoy open field zerg fights (love those loot bags). However I have doubt reducing effectiveness of smaller groups will benefit gameplay as a whole: Join the zerg where personal skill matter less, or run in smaller packs where getting things done is now even harder with traps considered. And for the server with higher pop in the tier, what is the point further reducing the challenge? Will WvW be more fun if everything is favoring more brute force and larger zerg?
Would love to hear ideas using traps to help the outmanned side and small group play.
