Now that I’ve seen them ingame, there’s one entirely unforgivable thing IMO:

  • You again screwed up Charr and Asura.
  • No tail flap/hole for Charr.
  • No toes for Asura

What’s the problem with the Charr? I seriously think all 3 sets look best on the charr, because of the tail and because of how their upper bodies are much wider than their lower bodies. And because they are simply bigger race.

So personally I am rolling every class as a charr, because that legendary tail is something out of this world

[SPOILERS] Love it! Very good: final battle with the pooches, the scale of Primordus. I experienced awe, fear, goosebumps, excitement, disbelief, and now anxiety as to how I shall be received by humans when they find out I ‘may’ have killed their god. Final instance volcano throat is just magnificent in scale. I did feel like story made a bit of a jump with lazarus then balthazar, but I suspect you wanted to tell Mantle story and close that before moving on into Dragons -> Gods transition, so all in all loving it. New mastery can be gained by doing story + couple hearts, no problems there. Map is gorgeous. Love new water mechanic but still hoping this won’t be water from now on, that is in some new maps i’ll still be able to go underwater? In conclusion: can’t wait to tell Braham! XD
Edit: Oh also I loved the gliding mechanic in final story step. It made things very immersive, having to zero in on those balls. How am I supposed to 75 words this
Edit2: Love the new friend I made, golem in the homeinstance! Vine mastery is great! Lore all over map great. Love how thermal tubes are required for the map (creates progression). Inquest base great. Oh and Phlunt dialogue when he commands his subjects to battle? I’ll bring up the rear, put your bodies in front of my research – very good.

Anet, just want to offset all the complainers a bit, great job! I love each set, I love that you did not go overboard. The wow effect on unsheathe is definitely there (made the light set first myself) , and it looks gorgeous

Thank you for giving us this long term reward to go for from raiding, and immense thank you for the rune swapping and infusion swapping – that brought tears of happiness to my eyes when you announced it, not joking

I am ready to bet a lot of negativity will come from people who cannot raid/cannot make it, more will come from those who are somehow salty they have to raid another 3 months to make all 3 sets.

You made great decisions imho, stick on your course, and amazing job. Thank you!

Also I am glad this armor didn’t come with Raven glider attached at 10 points all over it. Things like that are obnoxious and ruin my immersion/what I see, and I want an option to not see it if Anet chooses to put such horror flashy things into the game :P

So , so far I’m loving what I saw. Can’t wait for Tuesday to see the armor in action! :O going for light set first

[quote=6565318;Shovel You don’t actually love it. You are settling. [/quote]

1. Don’t tell people how they feel. You won’t be met warmly
2. I’m reserving my reactions to when it goes live and I equip one. Armor:
* looks best on yourself. The game on any setting I think will always render your own armor better than anyone next to you
* whole point of this armor is that it’s dynamic. Thus making judgements based on one screenshot is outright silly. The only way to see if you like the armor or not is put it on, dye it, and enter into combat. Then look for the ‘wow’ feeling

I’ve been wanting Guild Wars 2 housing since it launched in 2012, and it’s still true today.

I’m hoping the next expansion will expand this feature for proper player housing.

This. I believe! I personally take the living story trailer submarine as 100% confirmation that the submarine is a player house, one of 100 available, and it comes with a fishing rod I can use to fish.

I believe! Player housing is coming.

This is not a sarcastic post I seriously think (and have made posts previously) that housing would bring new gemstore items, drops, rewards, achievements, collections, incentives, ‘quests’ to the game, even progression if they take time to build it (crafting disciplines? masteries? could come up with a lot) and thus add a lot of monetary and gameplay value to the game!

Woot Woot! Hype!

In fact I think the houses of White Mantle in that heart in Lake Doric where you turn into one, are player housing props. Did you see walls that clean and renovated anywhere else in the game? No sir. These houses look ready to move into. :P

Hah but people never manage to disappoint. Here come the hoards of crying individuals making final judgement based on a static image about the armor the whole point of which is that it’s dynamic.

They said, if it wasn’t clear: the armor moves. That’s the whole point about what they were trying to achieve.

Thus I am reserving final judgement and impressions for when I see it in action, it should have the wow factor every time I enter combat, and I’m quite certain I won’t be disappointed.

The images look promising considering the above.

I’m thinking Anet did a smart thing posting just one durpy image, so the general expectation point doesn’t go into overdrive.

You don’t fix PvP and WvW issues by hiring 10 ppl whose opinion you’ll exclusively listen to. You solve them by gathering all the data and analyzing it (Big Data, yaaa?) and coming up with solutions, implementing them, gathering data, analysing, coming up with solutions, implementing them…

Suggesting that any one player playing PvP and WvW can get a grand insight just by playing and solve all issues is like assigning 10 people to solve world hunger.

You know griefing is not encouraged or even allowed by Anet, right?
The mere possibility of people using Quip or Dreamer specifically to annoy other players justifies the change.

Following this logic they should remove Raven Glider because I am sick of ppl gliding with it on purpose right in front of me so my 24 inch screen suddenly turns violent purple eye hurting color.

THere should be option to turn off seeing/hearing things you don’t want to see/hear. Trying to tailor sound so it annoys NoOne is a bound to fail venture.

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Gimli.9461

Absolutely and Unequivocally NO!

Leave my Quip Alone! I made it Specifically to annoy people with the sound, and if they don’t want to listen to it, they can turn off player sounds! And if that doesn’t turn it off, well make an option to turn off player Weapon Sounds!

I find the whole idea ludicrous and hypocritical considering your Cosmic Mining tools, and the most Obnoxious Raven Glider!

Unlike Raven Glider, I actually spent sweat and gameplay to attain this amazingly annoying weapon, and as such, I demand recompense if you choose to change the sound, in the form of a free choice of a HoT legendary.

Also, allow me to note, that your dev time would be much better spent to implement Fishing, with Fishing Boats, and Housing, with Mugs and Pillows, to introduce countless Gem Store items. Also a Bloodstone Brewing station where you feed 250 bloodstone to let people drink hot mugs of Bloodstone from to become the glowing color of bloodstone for 10 min.

No, what Anet should do is add fishing so we can kill more fish!

Anet, you guys are breaking my heart. This is my official feedback. The number of references to fishing in the game keeps growing, and Lake Doric was just the deepest stab of them all. The cages! The fishers! The items. Cries long and hard
And that fisher in Queensdale that does the unsheathe animation with a fishing rod. Give me that fishing rod!

PS: I’m gonna edit this to add that yes, I want that chill activity in the game to take a break from all the fighting. I found myself just going round lake Doric yesterday rummaging in fishing cages as the best fishing substitute to date. Pretty exciting! What am I going to get this time? Ooo a dirty rag, niice.

Blocking dps meters

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Gimli.9461

Gimli.9461

Interestingly enough even if you could block DPS meters, doesn’t mean you won’t be discriminated against for low DPS.

I only run DPS meter while raiding, to see my own dps and let the raid leader see my dps to detect issues etc.

I never run it outside raids. But still sometimes when I pug fractals I end up with a group whose DPS is abysmal. I don’t need a DPS meter to see this. I run T4 daily and I know on average what a great DPS is, what an OK is and what a horrid one is by the speed we kill bosses at.

Now I’m not toxic generally, and I never kick people, I just leave the party myself if I’m not willing to put in the time. However when I’m feeling antsy I can occasionally mention in the party the fact that I think people’s DPS is very low, or joke about asking people if they are wearing Nomads (which occasionally will cause people to link their zerker gear which I find pretty funny) – and yeah that’s a bit toxic I suppose? That case of letting your bad mood affect your actions in game.

This makes me think that now that DPS meters are allowed, any time anyone says in chat ‘low DPS’, people assume they are running a meter. Not necessarily, not necessarily.

Why just cats?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Gimli.9461

Gimli.9461

I don’t know if this has been said before, or not, but why just have cats that you can add to your home instance? That only really feeds into one group of people, cat people. I personally wouldn’t spend even 1 copper to get these cats in my home instance, but if I were given the opportunity to add puppies, or full grown dogs to my home instance I would blow through whatever gold it took! Please?!

These cats they keep adding, the entire thing just baffles me. There’s no collection for them, so no way for me to track which ones I got. And they don’t get money out of this.

If I got to pick the random thing they spend their free time on, I’d ask for a gem store fishing rod for 2k gems that lets me fish for junk :P And then they can add more junk. At least it allows me to chill, and makes them money.

Just baffling

No, I have created a thread with my suggestion/ideas on a simple implementation which wouldn’t take a lot; if i go posting this in my previous thread I’ll get slapped with – you’ve resurrected an old thread offence (as far as my previous experience goes, I think this is a thing); this thread is a different topic – implementation ideas

[Suggestion] Fishing!

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Gimli.9461

It’s me again, and yes it’s about fishing again. I can’t stop thinking about it.

I have a phased fishing implementation suggestion! Played some minecraft and thought – how hard could it be to implement fishing like this? Shouldn’t be too too hard right? I mean, basketbrawl.

So here are my thoughts on what a starter Phase 1 very basic implementation could be!

1. Mechanics: just like in minecraft. You equip a rod, you cast, it bobs up and down every 5-7 seconds, you have to right click – boom fish.
- won’t get too boring as you get something very often
- as far as bots go – I’m not an expert, but lets make rewards such that even if we cannot detect all botting, it doesn’t really matter; You fish by standing on a non-water space, and casting the rod into a water space (so basically anywhere there’s water and a shoreline/little island);

2. Rewards:
2.1 JUNK . junk junk and more junk
- The idea is you can fish out any odd item, and sell it as junk to the vendor. It’s soulbound (for now that’s all you can get)

2.2 Account bound Fishes:
- not used in any new recipes
- go toward some simple collection counter
- once you get a huge number of these you get a title Fish Lover or something

3. Fishing rods:
- Toy on gemstore for 1000 that per cast eats a Bloodstone Dust :P (or similar overflowing item) . Items caught with this rod don’t count toward achievement, just junk to sell to the vendor
- Craftable fishing rods, throughout each of 6 crafting tiers; things you catch with these count toward collections/achievements (so achievement is phrased: catch 5000 pufferfish with a starter fishing rod):
– First phase just gives the starter fishing rod, Novice Huntsman, and on each of the 5 starter maps you can purchase a recipe from a fishing vendor!
– The heart fishing vendor also offers bait you have to use! Worms
– Eg: Queensdale fisherman by the dam; Ascalon the fishing tar lake; Wayfarers you can go to either the bear heart, it has a fisher nearby, or the frozen fishing holes up north; Azura land I don’t remember anything fishing related but I’m sure there’s a suitable body of water – how about that krait infested lake with azura krew that sells tonics? And for the Grove – the island of the Soundless? :O

4. You can only fish on the starter maps for now. Or maybe anywhere but later the other maps would give better fishes

5. You get experience each time you catch something

6. Fishing rod that’s not from gem store breaks after 250 casts

That’s it.
You won’t have any economy impact because it’s junk; give it at a low rate so it’s less money than you get if you farm mobs; junk profit will be offset by bait cost, and the endless fishing rod will eat bloodstone dust => who won’t like that? :P You can add more items it can eat too

This’d have the benefits of new players discovering this little useless activity and going oh let me get Huntsman and craft this fishing rod just for fun

Yes I know not everyone likes fishing, bah! But this is my biggest dream to have the ability to fish in GW2 :P I can’t help it :P

Phase 2 would add further tier fishing rods, more collections, maybe even masteries, and start adding recipes that use actual fish

Phase 3 would be to add an Aquarium craftable item for the guild hall to fill with fishes/sharks/other water creatures, rare decoration fishes to fish for in various content throughout the game (fractal? raid? lol), and fishing boats: so now you can also fish out on the waters
This would enable such thing as fishing boat skins in the gemstore

Fishing>champ farming
I want fishing like this though, it was very enjoyable and required effort and skill https://youtu.be/S8eR8PghHE0 (and the fish were very colorful and beautiful)

Huh, that’s an interesting way of fishing I’d actually though be opposed to this way, as what I enjoy most is the scenery around me as I fish, so if I was forced to go underwater to literally pull the fishes out, that’d not be quite what I’m looking for in fishing.

But then there’s always the magical ‘make it an option’ :P One or the other.
I mean to the point of ‘jump underwater and hit fish with the spear’ – that’s not fishing to me, it’s the sitting in a little boat bobbing on the waves listening to gulls/watching the sun set/watching the surroundings, or sitting on the shore – that’s what it’s about for me

Also, sorry for double post, but another point:
I’m itching right now to buy something on gemstore. And I have nothing to buy! Another glider? No thanks I have half of those unlocked. Another outfit? No thanks. All skins I want from there I got. Okay sometimes they do come out with new cute thing I just can’t pass up, but a whole new category of items I might want => I think the gemstore could use that.

THe only thing they can sell right now are moar shared inventory slots. Where are those btw :P

Now imagine fishing were implemented as a toy broomstick, except you are in a boat with a fishing rod. There’s a new category for gemstore → fishing boat looks. Imagine ember bay water expanses with tiny fishing boats! Imagine poor charr crammed into one with knees sticking out oooo one can dream

I understand people’s arguments, and disinterest in such a monotonous activity as fishing for some.
But as pointed out above, different people like different things. My main point will remain that in MMO, there’s a huge population of people that are:
- completionists
- explorers
- hoarders

And to those people, systems that add more stuff stuff stuff to collect, more places to go explore and enjoy, and more collections/tasks/masteries to complete => will go a long long way.

Right now, the type of player I am, I will go level some more characters, make sure I do every little achievement wintersday offers, and next festival, go get new items new maps offers, go knock some collections out of the park. I want moar! Moar!

And if raids dropped a rare couch for my home instance, I’d just be that more excited every time I killed slothasor :P

Well, I don’t see the appeal of fashion wars. Couldn’t care less what my character wears. But I’d dive into decorating my home instance in a flash :P

Then why do you play GW2? Collecting skins is what the end game of this game is. If you don’t care about it, I don’t understand what you are really doing in this game. At it’s core, GW2 is about playing dress up.

I mean, there are reasonable requests for changes and improvements … and then there are requests that try to make the game something it isn’t. I’m not saying that houses and fishing won’t happen, but recognizing a game for what it is will go a long way to ensure you choose games you want to play wisely.

That was my point, I don’t care about dress up, yet still GW2 is almost exclusively what I play. Why? Because it’s incredibly short sited to name any one activity of this game as primary and only activity of this game. I love exploring, I love the raids/fractals, I love making new characters, I love quest-like things like collections for legendaries they introduced, and many more things.

Personal decorations instead of guild hall decorations would have been way more successful, as it’d engage so many more people – so saying that requesting such feature is off this game’s path, I don’t think so.

Fishing – blah, gw2 is all for chill with your friends or alone and fishing is the most chill thing one can think of.

At the end, the argument I’m making is that both of these activities would be quite popular and generate lots of cash for them, that’s all. Personal housing more so than fishing but fishing is easier to add :P – ah and this kinda statement I can’t make who knows maybe having added guild decorations, adding personal housing would in fact be easier.. I retract any ‘easy/easier/the easiest’ statements %)

1. Instead of guild halls we should’ve head personal home instance decorating, or a separate house instance

I can’t disagree more.

This is an MMO and it should generally support groups rather than individuals.

2. This game needs FISHING!

Needs? I don’t think so; it’s a fun game without it. Would fishing be fun if it were added? Perhaps but it seems to me it would require a ton of new mechanics, rewards, economic rebalancing, etc; it doesn’t seem like a good use of ANet’s limited resources.

Re “groups rather than individuals” – home instance would be for a group of 5 to show off to, and catering to groups that are too large ends up excluding a lot of people who like personal achievement.

Re ‘needs’ & ‘limited resources’ – I’m not saying the game will die without this. I’m voicing my long-time dream :P If I had to choose one new thing to be added, it’d be fishing.
Limited resources – I’m not saying drop all implement fishing. Of course they’d evaluate the effort involved, the returns they’d get, etc. I think it could be done in stages, as other things, starting with simple 6 fishing masteries, fishing rod crafting, 1 type of bait, 3 fishing spots, and 10 fishes, and grow gradually while making them money in the gemstore. I’d even enjoy it in its simplest form if it was the dumbest ever minigame with 1 type of fish :P

Well, MMO’s are largely about wasting your time, and the two proposals by the OP are certainly time wasters. I wouldn’t waste my time on either one, though.

Exactly! That’s the thing, now that I have steady raid group, and everything one might want pretty much, I need more relaxing activities and goals to waste my time on.

I Loooove the nodes you could get for 10k magic from new maps, they gave me that goal to farm for in those maps. I need more of those things but I need them in some quantifiable form.

Like, kittens. They are sort of decoration except you can’t place them, yet you can still go get them – the only thing missing is a list of them? Is there a collection that keeps track?

Fishing and housing would just add 2 huge layers of ‘stuff to get’
Right now it’s just the legendary weapons, skins, and .. what? Gold? Gold is a very boring option though.
Home instance nodes are okay, except they should add them as rare drops to more places, eg raids or fractals I think.

would love to see housing but the engine almost certainly does not support the kind of freedom you would want with house building, i.e a Wildstar style housing system not a LOTR style system which would die a death and be massive waste of resources (as with Guild halls imo). 1. Instead of guild halls we should’ve head personal home instance decorating, or a separate house instance
2. This game needs FISHING!

Personal housing:
The benefits of this system would have been huge, and obvious. It’d have avoided some of the guild decoration issues:
- limit on items would still exist, but wouldn’t have been so severe to deal with as the space you deal with is smaller, and the number of players in the instance is capped at 5
- ownership; I couldn’t give a rat’s behind about making anything for the guild as I don’t own it. Not only is the guild hall huge and thus the chance of anyone seeing ‘my stuff’ small, but the decoration limit prevents us from any real decorating, and as the items can be removed by anyone with permissions, the entire system is just not attractive to most people
- Impossible to know who the items really belong to just by looking. In personal home instance, if I had a Gorseval golden statue, that’d say more than it being in a guildhall :P

Now housing system, similar to wildstar, would let you:
- literally unlimited gemstore possibilities :O all those differntly colored cushions, yum
- random rare drops from any event in the game to hunt for certain decor
- another crafting discipline if wanted

And if it was possible to implement feature of visiting other people’s houses/instances to view like in Black Desert Online – oh boy. And say rate them? (What I’m talking about here, instead of just having option to go to YOUR home instance, you’d be able to search player name and ‘visit/view’ their home instance, without being able to touch/harvest obviously).

FISHING:
Now there’s many hints of this in the world already, so putting it in would not be out of place (Queensdale, fishing Charr bands, etc). Benefits:
- Craft fishing rods, or buy them on gemstore (unlimited :O?), yay
- Craft bait, or buy some on geeem store? :P Nah lets just harvest/craft
- Fishing Masteries – weepee!
- Fishing collections
- Personal home instance/guild hall fish tanks, to be filled by rarest fishes/sea creatures that will drop from raids/events/god knows what
- Little boats (aka glider skin frenzy) – lunar year boat for only 700 gems, take it out in orr and off you go fishing :P
- Must have some sort of non afk thing
- New food recipes to do with them fishes
- New TP items
- Fishing Adveeenture? :S
- wait for it… LEGENDARY FISHING ROD XD

Imho if GW2 had these 2 systems it’d be truly complete :P I’ve sunk an ungodly amount of hours/money into this game, yet these two are still missing. I am eyeing ESO to be honest just to fish with my friend because it’s so relaxing, and I saw their Feb 2017 housing thing, so I plopped housing in this post also.

Minimap Opacity: Hide Minimap

I love the patch, I love Anet, I love it all!

So much content is going in it’s amazing, the only thing I keep dreaming of, apart from Fishing :P is the ability to hide minimap.

If hiding it (adding option to hide it) is too involved, could it be easier to add opacity option to it so I could make it completely transparent and thus pretend it’s not there?

I’m just one of those people who cannot tear my eyes away from minimap so I miss out on the wonderful surroundings a lot. Right now I just make it as small as I can, zoom out all the way, and set it to rotate so I can’t tell anything from it XD I tried ICM mod but recent versions also hide text when I chat to NPCs and inventory interface so that ruins it for me I like talking to all NPCs, immersion you know.

In addition, I’d love to hide everything in top corner except events. Now I know it could result in quite a few options but maybe again if opacity could be added to that, even to the entire interface that stays on screen, that’d still be something.

Just a thought %)

HoT maps are amazing, thank you

Just want to say to Anet: thank you for these amazing maps.
Now I’m a veteran player, and I pre ordered HoT. Rushed through the story, was hugely dissatisfied with how short it felt. I’m sort of in that camp ’I’d rather be forced to go through maps and do meta’s for that grandeur feel’. But I understand most ppl would hate that.

So it ended up that I never spent much time in the maps. Time I did spend was only to get HPs for specializations, which for me is 1 DragonStand, Verdant brink, and some Auric basin. Anything I did I was rushing toward that goal/HP and considered the difficulty/maze-ness of the maps a nuisance.

But now! Now I am crafting nevermore. So here I am doing map completion on HoT maps and just chilling, exploring all the nooks and corners. And it’s amazing. No flat map even comes close. I’m starting to notice patterns, and pre-defined paths, and the thought that had to go into arranging these maps.

These maps are, quite literally, a work of art, and I think it’s a bit of a shame and hurts HoT maps that the rest of HoT legendaries won’t come. They’d bring many more players in with incentive to explore the maps than otherwise will be the case. But oh well.

Anywho, back to exploring I feel a bit like I am in a roleplaying game where I have to hide/take circuitous paths around mobs, or fight to the death Just shame took me so long to get to this propertly

TLDR: If you are new to GW2, go here :P
https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/3rjeyc/reshader_mastereffects_installation_guide_for/

I will never get tired of celebrating how amazing this game looks.
If there’s a best looking game award, GW2 has to win it hands down (maybe subject to the game coming with reshade preinstalled? haha..ha %)))

In this particular case, I’m amazed by how Wayfarer forest looks almost like a real-life photograph. I’m not even getting into how amazing HoT maps are, look at this forest! (And, okay, 1 screenshot from Verdant Brink :P)

Why is this not fixed? It doesn’t scale properly. This outpost in verdant brink is only complettable if i start it the moment night ends, it’s frankly infuriating. it’s needed for both Chuka and Raven staff and I spent ages trying to get it done for Chuka, now i unlock ravenstaff collection this still not fixed?

why do raid discriminate classes?

Simply becaue to beat the raid you gotta usually use one of a limited set of compositions. I have seen often how when I run with my group we one shot things on our regular comp, and then we swap classes around for fun (so people learn to play other classes in raids), swap the comp around a bit => and keep failing XD just because it’s a tad harder.

You have to be fully prepared to have several classes you can bring to the raid that you can play well and have geared out. Best to have will probably be :
one of – (warrior/revenant/chrono) – sort of your boon givers
one of – (tempest /daredevil/necro) – condi or zerk damage. having both necro and tempest will get you a lot of raid spots, i think
druid I think is nice! i don’t have one atm but want to level one and learn to raid with one

This now has me thinking on a whole topic of gear:
Once you have your legendary gear in, as well as legendary trinkets + figured out how to swap out runes, Theeeeen you can start building Tier 5 fractals with mechanics that’d require a different stat set for every fractal :P super elitist tier XD

Thanks for this! Read it through, and two comments:
1. “remember how raids were when they just came out, it was a wipe fest”
– yes, I was thinking about that as I was playing it, definitely there’s a factor of learning curve. I was able to do this with friends, but with pugs it’s hard at the moment – you have to get lucky with pugs. Once the learning has been done by the majority of T4 runners it will definitely be easier.

2. This is something I find mildly disturbing:
“Pay attention to your build. Like a raid, you will actually want to make sure you have proper gear and skills equipped for the encounter. "

NO No no no no no!
ANET – attention: skills yes, gear NO!

Raids are actually EASIER to gear out for than fractals, please remember that when you develop T4 fractals!
I can run a raid in exotic gear, or in ascended gear with runes – but NO AR!

Fractals in fact have a ‘slightly’ harder requirement on your gear, and while you could argue that filling your 6 gear pieces with 8th or +9th is relatively cheap (9 being 10 gold, so 60 gold extra, shouldn’t be too bad for experienced fractaler at all), I would urge caution on building fractals where I have to swap from zerker build to clerics or something quite so drastic (not saying this currently exists, simply saying exercise caution with gear swap targeted fractal designs).

I currently run an AR distribution where my 2 zerker rings each carry the BULK of my ar (65), and thus I run meta gear on a class (dmg meta, eg necro = viper raid build), but with rings swapped to zerk rings.

Yes I could build a more survivable gear set and stuff AR in there, but I’d rather then roll another class and build a whole ascended set for that (eg non-zerk non-viper druid that is also usable in raids), than create another full ascended full kitten t just for one fractal.

So please, mechanics that are hard and are similar to raids => sure. But requirement to gear swap that forces you into meta that isn’t usable in raid => no no no.

Another one would be, the attacks are too punishing. I was doing so well then ended up just on the very edge of his jump and insta down=death. Also when u get knocked down you get knocked down for way too long. It means almost certain death. Maybe reduce that by a second?

1. Did you clear this fractal overhaul with the upper management?
- because honestly I already have raids I run on set schedule, and fractals I pug mostly
- I just spent 40 min with pugs on this and I bailed . Because I don’t have time for this
2. How is a MELEE class supposed to do this? Yeah i know i’m supposed to CC when he pounds, but hey he pounds. So only range CC? So all ranger group? :P
3. Can we have SOME CONSISTENCY??? Why are Champion’s pounds without AOE circle indicator? Why are Bloomhungers charges without AOE indicator?

Bottom line now I have to go roll a druid so I can heal the pugs? Thanks
Anyway, a little rant, I hope you’re happy with your grand fractal. I hate it atm, just my 2c. Completely unnecessary level of difficulty. And most AoEs only wipe parties because their indicators are absent. Also => no class has enough dodges for THAT level of madness. Tone it down.

You didn’t succeed in teaching people to play better, you succeeded in making them mad, and hopping into an all-reaper party. Good job.

Gah this is infuriating! It’s impossible to find instance where this outpost actually succeeds. Better go play GW1 lol. I"m so mad at the game at this point, going to abandon entire collection. F it.

+100
How am I supposed to do this outpost for Chuka collection? The airship salvage doesn’t scale properly at all. Doing it with 5 people is a certain fail. It takes forever.

Couple this with the fact no one plays this outpost ever, I ‘m stuck now because I can’t complete this outpost.
