Hi there, been disconnecting every few minutes for the last hour or so. Am playing on Tarnished Coast from the U.k. and it comes up with the ‘unable to connect to server message’.

This is still bugged, please tell me if it wont be fixed and I wont bother continuing.

In patch notes: Fixed a bug that caused Magister Izzmek to stay in Gavbeorn’s Landing instead of starting the assault in the Temple of Melandru meta-event.

Izzmek still stuck at Graveborn’s.

My two cents:

There is no reason for players to work together other than gather in one place and smash stuff randomly. No tactics at all

No loot – if you don’t want the mobs to drop anything how about a champ at the end of each vine destroyed with a chest or similar – would stop people running around the map hitting two mobs each time for the stacks.

Give bloom(s) for each vine downed – would help with disconnects etc.

Second, extend the event for a week.
Third, scrap the gold required for rewards.
And lastly give more blooms, as new players are not going to want to grind, grind, grind!

+1 especially on the gold requirement. Problem with it, especially at its current cost is the gold will simply be deleted from the game. All those hard won drops and vendoring will go poof and not into the hands of another player on the TP where it can actually circulate.

It’s better in the long run for that gold to be removed.

I wouldn’t even agree with you even if we were earning gold in this event which we aren’t. Even with the terrible Pavilion 2.0 Event where we had to use currency+gold to get so called rewards from the vendor, at least that event gave you drops. If you find this rewarding in any way shape or form, enjoy it. This is a bad event for new players as they have a lack of gold and they are getting no karma, no drops, no gold, and no xp to boot and it’s bad for vets because many of us have some/most/all of the items from the reward vendor.

Please explain why you think a reward vendor for an event specifically aimed at new players needs a gold sink. (ArenaNet’s own recommended level is to be at least level 18). New players don’t have the gold to blow on this event. If I were new I’d rather go play where I was getting XP/Karma/Gold/Drops.

Agree completely. I don’t need the vendor rewards as I already have most of them. the only reason for me to do this event would be if loot drops..which it doesn’t. Even ‘normal’ loot would entice me to do this again!

Well…it’s been pretty clear for a while now that Anet doesn’t like giving loot to players. You either have to pay for your rewards or get none at all!!!

I honestly don’t remember an event that has come out recently where normal trash mobs would give loot; Scarlet invasions, maybe?….

And remember all of the complaints where people would farm mobs rather than complete the events?

Yes, I remember those complaints. But the problem isn’t with completing the events, the problem is where/what the player feels will give him the better reward. Event completion gained you less rewards over-all than just farming the mobs would. I mean, just look at how most of the dynamic events in the game are ignored. You get more for killing monsters than you do for completing the event.

But…that’s just my opinion so….there’s my 2 cents. Have an awesome rest of the day!

Exactly his – it’s all about the carrot on the stick. You do something for the reward it give otherwise what is the point? I can go elsewhere in the game and have the same amount of ‘fun’ smashing mobs and getting something for it in the end.

Hey there, I am looking for a guild that has some older people in it who understand that things are no longer always ‘fast’

I am on SFR (EU), but I guess that only matters for wvw now. I also have an account on Yaks’ Bend but not yet 80 on that one. Would be willing to push things on that account for the right guild though.

I am normally a solo player but would love to experience the new raids and guild halls etc in HOT.

Things like this leave a bad taste in my mouth. I haven’t bought the ultimate edition so am not affected, but there should never be an excuse for making loyal innocent players have to pay the price for criminals. Not cool Anet, not cool.

You could have at least let those who don’t yet have their gems reserve sale items for, say, I dunno, how about 72 hours?

Hello ANet, I am wondering if this can be escalated.

My ticket number is 1698233

I noticed two days ago that, for reasons apparently unknown, 3 superior runes and 3 wvw infusions had disappeared from my ascendant armour.(The infusions were added a year or even longer ago, the runes were probably swapped out after then, not sure when).

I have been told I can’t be helped.

Now, I understand that some people might ‘try it on’ without ever having the items in the first place, but surely you should be able to see in your logs that these items were there a few weeks ago and that I didn’t remove them myself (not even sure if this is possible!).

So now I have to replace these runes and also the infusions (have to save up laurels again!!) with no assurance that this won’t happen again!

I am really not happy about this response. This has happened through no fault of my own and now I am being punished for your bug.

Please can this ticket be escalated to a senior support person?

Hi there, I am constantly being asked to authenticate my log in per email – I used to get these once every 4 months or so when my isp changes its ip range – but it’s just about every time I log in now. This is happening on my other account too.

Reminds me of the issue there was when it was first switched on. ‘remember network’ isn’t helping.

Support has already said they will try to resolve each players concerns. What more do you want? If you don’t like the new set, put in a refund request and any additional information about your “case”, and let them try to work it out. If you don’t like their decision, THEN you can complain about it.

After seeing all the raging about this, I honestly hope they take the skin back from players who purchased it, and give them 800 gems only, nothing more. I did have some sympathy at first, but after reading the comments both here and in support, I have none. The attitude, “I spend money so I should get special treatment” is just obnoxious. Players who spend money in the gem store deserve and get NO more special treatment then a player who has spent nothing.

Take it away, refund the 800 gems, then block them from purchasing the new version since they hate it so much before even seeing what it looks like.

If by some strange fluke an unbelievable situation occurs where they decide to allow players to keep the current version does happen, I will protest and make the biggest stink possible just to make sure they do not get to keep it on principle.

Don’t know if this would work, but how about pairing up servers? eg, one high pop server, one low and one medium pop. Make this ‘one big server’ for wvw?

Same issue here. but I have characters I can play already. Sucks for you new guys and they are normally a lot quicker at communicating and fixing – hang in there, the game is worth it!

We don’t know what happened with Overlook, we had the first gate down and the keep lord was behind the second. He died and we got ported in and auto had the keep – we have reported it as a bug.
