“You’ll have to hit harder than that”!
I demand more ringed planets, a few comets, and a black hole swallowing a binary star system. Kidding aside, I love meteorlogicus the way it is.
Supply is always an important factor in the cost of any commodity. Whether you are happy or sad about it will not change the fact that the supply has gotten a significant boost and this has caused the price to drop from nearly 4g to what it is now.
I have experienced massive lag and frequent disconnects doing frostgorge champs.
Experiencing the worst persistent lag since I started playing about 10 months ago.
Also getting tons of lag. I can’t even see the flame boulders in CoF path 1 ( they are invisible)!
I think charged lodestones were ridiculously out of sync with the prices of other lodestones. I think a reasonable price is somewhere in the range of 1 to 1.5 gold. I applaud Anet for increasing the supply of them.
Please update with uncontested NA server. Thanks.
They gilded infusion won’t be refunded 100%. It won’t stop working, and even if it did I think everyone made enough money thanks to it to justify the 20 laurels
Some of us bought these infusions very recently and did not make much at all.
If enemies can hear, one could disrupt their operations by playing horrific, cacophonous drivel. Could be the new secret Zerg-buster.
I definitely agree. I went to Queensdale the other day and started an event, and it was a very small event, but I can’t remember which one. I had just finished the event when a SWARM of players come crawling over the edge of a hill and almost simultaneously, I got about 60 whispers insulting me for ruining their event circuit. I was so confused for a second until I realized that they were running the events one right after the other, and I had just interrupted their run of these events and now they’d have to move on to a different event. This is on Gate of Madness, by the way. This is not how I wanted Queensdale to turn out at all, especially when new players start there. What are new players going to think about GW2 when players shout at them for starting a simple event? You should be able to start an event alone if you want to, shouting that an event has started is just a courtesy given out okittendness. Now every time I go to Queensdale, I start every event on my own without giving that courtesy because these kittens decided it was okay to insult and belittle. Screw them, when they swarm over the hill again, I’ll be smiling standing over the body of the champion troll or the bodies of multiple bandits and my smile will grow when they fume and insult me. I know I’m just adding to the hurt they’re already inflicting on GW2, but I really can’t do anything to stop their zergs anyway.
That is bullkitten that you get grief from the mindless, moronic Zerg for starting an event. It’s a free server, a free zone. You should be able to do whatever activities that please you, particularly in a low-level PvE zone.

My necro is a smokin’ hot red-head. Her name: Succubus on Fire
As a mesmer I can say I did all options. I did the puzzle manually, I took other mesmer portals and I provided portals for others. It was a satisfying and fun experience with each method. Ayrilana is, IMO, wrong in her belief that portals used in JPs are exploits. One thing is unarguable: 500 more posts saying she is wrong will still not change her opinion. And you know what? I’m just fine with that.
The only constant in GW2 is change. Adapt and thrive or perish.
yes the crafted food market (omnomberry products and other ones) is collapsing because of the cheap supplement food from dragon bash
This cheap dragonbash food is the most devastating blow to the high level food crafters.
High level food crafting was a steady but low (10% margin average) source of income for me and other food crafters as some high level foods were allways in demmandNow we can expect high level crafted food market to collapse. Its allready started with omnombery dropping to the historic minimum prices on TP and will continue to
Lets compare omnomberry pie (av price 3.50) vs Slice of Candied Dragon Roll (av price 0.32)
There are like 3.9mil Zhaitaffy in supply on TP and rising thats almost 800K dragon bash foodsAnet you have just destroyed crafted food market
Was that really neccessary ??
[Sarcasm]New Gemstore Item – Earmuffs – for 800 gems you can wear these earmuffs and not hear any of the noses from the Bell or Horn.[/sarcasm]
Well said, but Anet may just take your idea seriously. What an absolutely diabolical way to make money: first create the disease (obnoxious horns), then sell the cure (earmuffs).
I have yet to see a better looking LB than the fractals LB.
NA server uncontested Balthazar please.
Looking for uncontested Balt, NA server. Thank you!
Looking for NA server uncontested Balt. Thanks.
I use banners all the time and they are awesome aids to both group survivability and damage output in level 40+ fractals.
Didn’t want to have to, but I think I’ll be buying some Gems with cold hard cash fairly soon.
And THAT is what Anet has been working overtime on: thinking up new ways to separate people from their cash (rather than virtual gold) for gems.
Also looking for NA uncontested server.
Come on, am I missing something or is there really no new infusions? Vendors in fractals also have nothing new. No skins. No new fractals.
What??
Fractals were not ignored, just made even harder by eliminating more shortcuts/exploits. Will Anet compensate us by improving skin and other loot drops? Don’t hold your breath.
Just going to throw this out there and hope maybe a dev will like it:
Why not let people trade 2 or 3 (or X) fractal weapons they’ve already gotten for a single fractal weapon of their choice?
It doesn’t really sound like anyone is complaining that “a” skin is difficult to get. Its the fact that the chance of getting “the” skin you want is so small, and that chance never increases no matter how many times you do the fractal. Run a bunch and slowly collect random skins you don’t really want, and trade a handful for the one you do. Won’t conflict with tokens. Will still reward doing higher level fractals more than lower ones. But most importantly, it still gives a reasonable goal that you can make progress towards, rather than the whole skinner box “maybe this next run will be the lucky one in a million”
EDIT: And for a simple way to implement this, just make all fractal weapons salvage 100% guaranteed into some account bound token (lump of fractal ore?), with a new trader that takes X of these in exchange for a new weapon of choice.
+ 1000
Great idea, Azael! Anet please take note of this elegant and fair solution.
What class are you? The light armoured classes do get kicked around badly at the later stages. I have a Guardian and a Warrior, both are fine in areas of group mobs. My ele…well he just dies. But he looks cool so I dont care
It can be as simple as playing a class not suited to your playstyle.
I’m a light-armored mesmer and I eat Orrians for breakfast.
i am also on Desolation and had to wait 9 weeks for map rotation and my final poi. Why should players now get an easy shortcut to world completion when everyone else has had to work for it.
I spend most of my time in PVE but i actually enjoyed my time in WvW when i was getting my maps there. I even go back now and then with my guild as it can actually be fun.
Oh and we have a few members in our guild waiting for map rotation to complete their 100% map.yeah hate to say it , and its probably against the code of conduct, but some people just have to L2P its that simple.
They could have made map completion a dolyak-ton harder by making you do guild bounties for it or something, but they didn’t .
Anet just asks that people go play WvW for a while because someone(s) there worked hard on making it.
Someone worked hard making dungeons, but the PoIs and waypoints in there don’t count for map completion. Nobody’s forced to go into them in order to get a token for a cosmetic item designed to be enticing and something that people would want to pursue.
If PoIs and Vistas weren’t locked into keeps, and if it didn’t force you to trek across three of the same map I could see “trying”, but it in fact is designed in a way that requires a higher level of dedication and time to get, just like every PvE map for completion isn’t “trying” PvE—it’s dedicating yourself to covering a large zone.
Killing ten invaders for a daily is trying content, just like doing 4 events in the Shiverpeaks is trying open-world PvE content, doing one dungeon is trying dungeon content. Trying is a very poor argument for the current state of Map completion, because it’s not designed around trying anything. It’s designed around dedication.
The question is, then, was it good design to include both PvE and PvP elements in that dedication? I don’t think, in the way that they set it up, that it was. I don’t think keeping these things in buildings that your server has to have control of in order for you to get into was good design—and I would say the same for any PoI or Vista or waypoint in PvE.
That’s really the crux of the issue for WvW map completion for a lot of people, I think (and it was my problem with it, aside from just not liking WvW)—it’s no longer about you, but about everyone, because it requires everyone coming together to take this keep or that tower so that you can actually get into it. And if you can’t? Then there’s no alternative you can take. You just don’t get it.
Even Badges of Honor can be gotten by running around by yourself and killing people/doing jumping puzzles. You’re not reliant on the numbers and coordinated efforts of other people for something that, ultimately, is only a reward for you. Because the only person map completion matters to is you.
The key phrase “dedicated player” one is simply NOT a dedicated player if they feel they “CAN’T” get 100% map completion. The achievement is for players dedicated to the game, and its supposed to show you are dedicated, if you have to com plain about getting it , you weren’t meant to get it plain and simple. A person may FEEL they are dedicated but its the ACHIEVEMENTS that VALIDATE this feeling. Arena net makes the rules. They CLEARLY don’t want to give map completion to EVERYONE except the most truly dedicated to playing and roaming all aspects of the game THEY feel are essential.
You may be a customer but this is THEIR game
if WvW is an issue people need to learn which build of their favorite class has the most survivibility so they can run to POIs instead of whining that: this “elite” (what it is supposed to be) achievement is too hard.
Sadly, the fact that legendaries can be purchased with a credit card greatly diminishes the sense of accomplishment of the world exploration achievement. Legendaries should never have been tradeable on the bltp. Then anyone who wanted a legendary would absolutely HAVE to get the world exploration achievement.
Well, on the bright side Mjolnir does come with remarkable exclusivity. I’ve never seen one in person.
I’m working on Infinite Light (up to 56 Lodestones, the rest is trivial). I’ve only seen it in person maybe twice (not counting those &Y*#$@ing harpies ).
Those ‘similarly dificult’ legendaries swarm in Lion’s Arch like flies. You can’t swing a dead charr without shaving it’s whiskers off on somebody’s legendary greatsword.
I have seen Mjolnir once and, man oh man, was it great fun to preview on my toon: so close, yet so very very far. . .
Doesn’t take much time to take out your credit card and buy enough gems to get the 1150 gold it takes to buy the 350 charged lodestones. But that is not the point. The requirements for mjolnir are equal to or exceed many legendaries in terms of total time/effort/gems/gold. That is what is so frustrating.
The requirement of 350 charged lodestones for a non-legendary item is simply ludicrous. Either Anet needs to put the ingredients in line with other special exotics or make a new category: The Ultra- legendary weapon.
I doubt Anet will do anything like allowing a conversion of basic to fine transmutation stones. The reason is simple: Money. I bet Anet sells a ton of gems to people who desperately want fine transmutation stones.
Same issue here, native Jade quarry user. JQ listed as “full”.
Having same issue, JQ server. By the way, the world selection screen lists Jade Quarry as “Full”. It is time to end guesting permanently, if this is the result.

Look up. They are in a garden above you.
Lol, TY. That must be it. I will return to the spot to confirm.
Ok, though it says in the description of the copper sickle that it can harvest potatoes. Perhaps this is an error?
My lvl 9 character can see potatoes on minimap but will not let me harvest with my copper sickle. I am able to harvest other things like blueberries. What am I missing?
