Same. I set up upgrades (including the new guild world events unlock). Then I went AFK. Came back 30 min later and they were all finished. The upgrades that I had activated were no longer activated. Whenever we queue an upgrade it finishes instantly. Really nice, but clearly a bug we don’t wanna exploit. xD For now we just put back up our buffs and are waiting on a fix.

Well done YB and EB. I think today shows pretty undeniable proof that this is a planned 2v1. And today is the day where YB is gonna spoon feed EB points. I hope you guys know how bad you are making your servers look. I’m thankful that when my server had the opportunity to 2v1 to get in gold everyone shouted no because we wanted to get there on our own merits. Regardless of how this week pans out I’m extremely proud of my server. We may not make 2nd but at least we didn’t need help to get there. =)

and before people claim this is a lie, the guy was in our ts, and instantly name changed when called out. Got screenshots of the guy doing it over and over again.

Sorry to hear about that. Most of us on the server don’t approve of that kind of action to my knowledge, and hopefully you understand that one persons actions do not represent the entire server.

On another note there’s a lot of comments I’ve heard flaring around that some of YB and EB are working together against us. I perfectly understand that 2v1s are going to happen, but with us all being the current 2nd, 3rd, and 4th servers it’s really a bummer to hear/see this happen with everything being so close.

So I’m at the part on w2z3 at the blizzard where you have to jump across clouds that disappear to a door where you have to play your flute to open. I’ve been following the Dulfy guide for this and when I get to the door I play 332331 but it won’t open. Anyone else having this problem or have any suggestions?

I feel for you EB. I was very excited for the new match ups. We thought we’d be fighting servers more akin to our coverage. Definitely was not expecting to end up T3 against DB and Mag. It was a huge blow to us. Heck, I would love to play against EB. =)

So tonight for our guild bounty we got a ton of people together (even players from other guilds) to run a bounty tier 3 because we needed to do it in order to get enough merits to start our next missions unlock. Everything was going great till we got to Kamali. We had a ton of people and were not able to kill her in her timer because her fire shield was always up. I was wondering if because of the patch this was a bug. We were so demoralized because this kept us from finishing our t3 as well as caused us to have to wait another week to start our challenge unlock. =(

that’s what i was thinking but someone said otherwise and it got me wondering. Yea with the concentrated blast at that part the npcs just go down insanely fast.

Hey GW2 Community!

First off I’m on a server that rarely has people working on temples. So to help out the community my guild and I have been trying to take over Balth. We’ve been able to gather up 20-30 players each attempt. We’ve been doing the southern invastion up to rally easily. The struggle for us comes when we start the march from rally to balth. We are fine the first few waves but when we get to the one where enemies come from behind pact morale just takes a dive. And eventually we fail the event.

I’m also unclear on one thing. Does morale drop when pact members die, when active players die, or both. I have been told a couple different things and wanted to clear this up. 2nd do you guys have any advice for us?

I hate having to see the placers on my server have to go to other servers just to get their obsidian shards. =(

I’m actually a bit surprised that people feel so offended that they can’t wear town clothes in combat. I think it’s great that you can’t. I guess the feeling comes from a lot of people who played GW1 where it was allowed, but there’s enough ways to enhance and personalize your own combat appearance with armor and dyes without throwing costumes as skins. I do agree that it sucks that if you fall or something you get knocked out of your town clothes. But I love running around in costumes and outfits, and I don’t mind shelling out money here and there on a game that is sub free to support it. Also, there’s other things I would love to see them spending their time working on that this is a complete non issue to me.

Wonder if the riding clothes are some possible indicator of more mounts coming to the game.

All new stuff in dungeons is going to be hard for the first few days. We see it all the time with new content – people fail and get knocked down when they aren’t used to that sort of thing, and they claim it is too difficult.
Give it a week or so for everyone to develop strategies, learn encounters, and build fundamentals, and they will claim it is too easy. Trust me when I say this, the numbers are punishing (but less than they were before), but knowing the mechanics will greatly mitigate the danger.

This is somewhat accurate. As more people play it and learn the encounters it will become more easy to complete. However, what bothered me about this is that I feel the focus needs to be on scaling down some of the dungeons first before worrying about the easier ones. Ever since the WP change the only 2 dungeons that the majority of players run are CoF and AC (and FoM). This is because the others are extremely difficult for most pugs (heck most non pugs). People get frustrated and upset when they are forced to wipe over and over again when they are giving it their best efforts. Now with the AC update a lot of people won’t want to put in the time to learn new fights or will have limited patience. I don’t think it’s fair to ask the player base to have to re learn a whole dungeon that they’ve already put time into learning. If this was just to fix bugs or make a fight that may have been lackluster more fun that’s one thing but completely flipping what people knew is another. I would really hate to be at the point where CoF is the only thing people want/are willing to do on a regular basis. v.v Honestly I just feel like there should have been other dungeons that should have received priority on getting an overhaul.

Ditto on the bug. I was actually worried at first that my keyboard was not functioning correctly so i changed keyboards and still had the issue. Came on here and realized that everyone is having the same problems.

And tonight I’m running a Jumping Puzzle event for my guild. Should be interesting. xD

Just last week I saw some JQ complaining that we 2v1 them with BG. This week I guess it’s the other way around. Guess what BG, you are in the big boy tier now. I’ll make it as clear as I can, SBI does what strategy it takes win. We don’t get together and go “hey this is the server we’re going to give a break to this week”. Like many have stated earlier, if you are red to us you are going down. Sometimes we may attack a certain server in the moment because of a particular situation. That’s called strategy. Stop complaining about it, dig deeper, and come back stronger.

On another note I have enjoyed my time fighting BG and JQ. =)

This is a very well done jumping puzzle. Fun, challenging, and entertaining. This alone kept me busy for hours. Even kept doing after I had cleared it just to go and have some fun with some friends and guildies who hadn’t done it yet. Bravo Anet! =)
