It’s easier to win a game of standing in circles when you have more players standing on them, I’m sure most people would agree. Not sure what that’s going to prove.

Never heard anyone say it’s only skill that matters because it’s clearly not, but maybe you’ve had a different experience.

Here is a serious question. What will be the general feelings from players towards the guilds that have sent in footage?

I am on the side of those who want to send in videos of glitches, incorrect tooltips we count on, cheats, missing items and wrongful WvW associations.

Perhaps someone from the community should compile another WvW promo video, including the jewels that have been removed from this thread along with other little incidents that happen on a daily basis. Release it at the same time Anet release theirs and see how much they differ.

Same here. I’m playing on JQ and can’t join BG or TC borderlands and some of my characters are stuck in Divinity’s Reach or other maps that give me the same error.

Well, FSP are known for one thing in particular but it’s not really their fault.

You can just follow the respawned half of the zerg back to the commander, I’m sure someone knows the way.

Many people are experiencing the same issue, check some of the topics on the first page for reference. Something went terribly wrong with the latest patch I think.

The client crashes for me too, after installing the latest patch it crashed and since then it gets stuck at 0% each time I try to launch. Repairing the launcher doesn’t work either.

Are you running a cheese build on your character? Maybe the AI is smart enough to say “kitten it” and drop combat.

OP is basically a good TL;DR covering the entirety of WvW customer support.

There is no need to submit a ticket. Customer Support is not handling anything related to the tourney World vs World at this time.

It’s the same thing as guys with fancy sports cars or big hummers. When you see a norn with a dagger in his codpiece, you know he’s a keeper.

Thanks, I didn’t know about that one. On my server “small water” means commander needs a three minute break and “big water” means he needs a ten minute break and another roll of toilet paper.

Developers post on the WvW forum and act like it’s something they do regularly.

They should enter the legendary sPvP tournament, at least someone from ANet would notice them then.

This is an equal opportunity tournament. Those that focus on PvE and WvW are absolutely welcome to sign up. This is not a PvE vs. PvP situation. What’s good for PvP is good for everyone.

And to clarify on a few things:

This tournament is being hosted by Mistpedia, similarly to the way PAX was done with Mist League. I have faith that Sireph, Blu, Shadowplasm, and their team will do a fantastic job, and we will be supporting them throughout the tournament. In hindsight, I should have emphasized that in the blog. Sorry about that!

There are going to be two tournaments. One for EU, and the following for NA. This means five Legendaries per region.

For those that don’t think they can compete in the tournament, you can also just tune in for a chance to win some shinies. No, we’ll not be giving viewers Legendaries, but it will definitely be worth watching.

I was very much against the tournament rewards at first and was going to voice my opinion against them, but after holding my thoughts in for a while and further considering it I now feel like it’s a pretty good idea after all.

I’m am by no means an sPvP player myself (rank 6 and haven’t played maps released after the ones the game launched with) but I can appreciate giving dedicated PvP players a chance at gaining something rare* to show for their effort. Which brings me to my next point — would it be possible for ANet to consider sponsoring similar rewards for tournaments organized in other game modes, such as a community organized Guild vs. Guild league in WvW (just an example)?

I’m sure there’s something that could be done with PvE as well, but I’m drawing blanks here since I don’t participate in that game mode myself.

*Not speaking about something literally rare like WvW tournament rewards (excuse the pun, it was of poor quality… like the rewards we’re used to. Okay, no more of that)

Nice action in the first half but I couldn’t bring myself to watch the rest of it, I’ve seen too many videos from hammer warrior perspective with cinematic soundtrack playing in the background to keep me interested.

The game really needs in-game moderators that check up and act on these reports live. The current way to report these exploiters is unnecessarily complicated, time consuming, and you get better results by punching the hacker on your monitor than trying to report him.

I don’t see a big impact with this change. Every WvW player already has applied fortitude and guard leech applied strength on all their characters, thanks to account bound WXP.

I don’t have high expectations anymore, especially after the summary of the two CDIs we had.

Unless you have a habit of handing out your bank account credentials along with CPR you should be fine rezzing anyone you see lying dead.

There’s actually a pretty simple formula for this. The more guardian you are and the more you smash auto-attack on staff, the more loot bags will drop. Don’t expect the quality of that loot to improve from your earlier experience though.

If the colored tags make a real mess, they can’t just remove them. As players spent gold/money on them.

Town clothes made a real mess and look what Anet did. Don’t tell them what they can’t remove!

I thought the present was mantra mesmer zergs with venom share thieves here and there.

It’s about the NPC’s leash distance and not over-aggroing, but I agree that it’s frustrating when it happens. Sometimes your pet/clones/whatever is inside the leash radius but when it dies or gets called back, you happen to be just outside and it causes the NPC to reset.

It’s the bare minimum amount (30%) better than other classes’ corresponding traits as per warrior design philosophy.

Do you have screenshots of the combat log? And was one of them this guy?

I don’t mind people rezzing through the gates but there really needs to be a forced respawn timer. I consider circumventing the afk timer whilst being dead an exploit.
