Defektive, why not use 30/0/20/0/20. if you want cleave downed people, you can cleave like a boss with Berserker’s power. when they are downed, +50% crit on stun doesn’t help much
i can understand its trait for peel, still overall damage output will be great. i run something similar these days and that damage is funny. still good job bringing this to top pvp

great you post here man, i like your vids! i running last two months with 10/25/20/0/15 and i enjoy it like never. need to try your changes on equip, it sounds interesting have better survivability and almost same damage

this is know from beta, maybe it’s working as intended

My friend, this is one of the best posts worth reading on the Warrior community. The thing is is not the Warrior, its that people cant play their classe. You see people complaining on the Warrior thread, on the necro thread, on the Engi thread. kitten , you even see people complaining on the Guardian thread.

Like you said “Do you guys see a pattern here” ? I almost never die on WvW with my Engi and people say they suck. Same thing on necro. As far as my Warrior goes, still learning but im kinda sick and tired of reading the thread where people actually think that Warrior absolutly suck at WvW.

i think warriors are great, problem is, they have so many flaws. so if you meet in wvw good enemy and he know what to do, you have problem. and some builds and some classes outshine warriors and they just need to be decent to fight good warrior, and if you make some mistake, you die. and only few ppl in wvw roam solo, more common are 1v2+ fights, where warriors are fubar
another thing is, 90% ppl you meet in wvw are bad PvErs, decent pvp warrior destroy them like flies

i was trying every weapon set, every combination. i think longbow > rifle if i want range weapon, it just fit me better. also nobody want to stay in that kitten from F1, which crit for 1,5k every tick lol
problem is, i found overall best weapon set for warrior gs/a+shield. its maybe boring (i don’t think so), but warrior work best with this. gs gives great mobility and burst, axe and shield gives sustain, cc, burst. problem is, if i want to take rifle from bag, i need trait it also, or its kittening useless

btw i have today very frustrating fight against two p/d thieves. problem was, when i manage get one down, second use shadow refugee, first port away and second ress him under cloak. seriously i get them to downed 7x, they still ressing themselves, cloaking on mobs around and they kill me at the end /sad panda

don’t know about condition, but in power build it work well. you have mobility and Rip from #4 crit for a lot! i was trying once mh axe + oh sword and i can sometimes instant ppl only with eviscerate + rip combo, when both crit

i don’t know how you play, but i play wvw exclusively and i have last two months done monthly and at least half of dailies without problems or focusing on it, just watch what is needed. and when they add wvw dailies, i think i done them all. so np there

ok, i want talk about wvw. i meet sometimes good guardians and seriously, how can i kill good guardians? they have much better hybrid damage because of burning and they have so much kittening heal and protection and aegis and kittening invincibility from elite and staff, even i have signet of might for sure eviscerate, he just walk away from fight with half hp, when i am dead… seriously, need advice. or is just better run away?? i can kill every class, when i use brain, but guardians are so kittening op, i have no words for it

well, i can talk about wvw. conditions are bad, but try use full Hoelbrak runes (-20% condi duration), Lemongrass Poultry Soup (-40% condi duration) and trait Dogged March, which is must have imo
then you have -93% movement impairing condition duration and -60% condition duration. it’s just great! you can go full head to condition classes and kitten them. yes, even p/d thiefs :P you can kitten condi removal skills, just run full damage and Healing Surge

i was trying this in spvp, but w/o food it’s harder, but still it help a lots stay alive and do some nice damage!

i don’t really care about blobing or zerging, it’s kinda amazing view see red sea roll over me sometimes
but i can’t stand these skill lags, don’t need to say, how frustrating is hypnotize heal skill and press 6 like crazy or hitting 1 and hope he will die first. even i was trying escort doly somewhere on far part of map, and 3way fight happen in SM, doly stop for 3second every 3 meters… even with swiftness, so it takes twice or triple time to escort him… it’s insane. really hope A-net will focus on this now -_-

culling is terrible thing, but which is worse are skill lags. i hope anet talk about it in blog post also

i have crit chance 100%. 71% with perception signet and berserker gear. + fury + 9% from trait.
still i have situations, when half of my 100B didn’t crit. but autoattack crit always, or almost always. it happend on others skills also. 100B is most visible, while it’s crucial land it properly.
anyone can explain why? this happend in wvw mostly, can’t compare with dungeons, while i ignore them

i have only problem with P/D thief, they have mostly high survivability an insane stacking of bleed + still they have c&d from dagger, this is "meta"in wvw atm i think, i see more and more thiefs with this
anet forcing ppl to play thieves, when they want small scale pvp in wvw

i didn’t read this whole thread of QQ, but i have some points for serious note:

1) i don’t have much problems against thieves 1v1 (playing condition engi and mesmer), problem is in teamfights. decent thief wait in cover, till i engage fight with someone and then he use stealth, quickness and steal->backstab/PW -> dead. then he can move to another node and repeat. usually he is in stealth whole time his burst (2sec), or with PW, he is out of stealth after i have already half HP. this is bad. he must be out of stealth immediately after his attack from range (steal). this implement for all classes with stealth ofcorz

2)high mobility. when he fail his combo and can’t kill me in 2sec, he just use hide and with bow disappear. repeat: stealth and high mobility. i know, it cost him ini, but this is wrong also. he can have stealth OR mobility, no both

3)skills w/o cd. i use frozen grenade with chill, but he can still spam his skills. this is also wrong. with chill on him, he must have some cd on skills, like 1sec or even 0,5sec

4)PW+quickness. i often use on mesmer two stunbreakers. against PW with quickens it’s almost useless. i can’t even dodgeroll mostly. only distorsion save me. this can be fixed with some “stun protection/immunity” after stunbreaker use. 0,5s will be more than enough i think. most ppl cry when i use my #2 sword skill. “he is invincible and deal tons of damage OMG!”… well, against PW with his interrupt it’s piece of cake i think

this all together can make from good player killing machine in teamfight, especially with backstab build. PW is also strong, but not that much. HS spam don’t bother me mostly.

i think GS/staff mesmer is very viable for aoe farming. i just don’t bother with solo killing, every time i just pull three or four mobs (traited for 4 bounce and lower cd on both weapons + faster shatter), because it’s much faster than kill them separately. and you can handle pack with one veteran easy, staf is AMAZING weapon for this ^^
anyway don’t stack only power/crit, pick some toughness and every pve will be much easier this way. enjoy
