Short answer: they will have individual teams targeting each mode outside of PvE. They will ask what the users want to see next and they will add them.

Stop using drugs dude (or dudette), They already do standalone updates on that (except for Dungeons, but that’s what fractals are for)

Diversity… you are talking about a class that was the main reason why they took celestial stats out of pvp because it had to much of everything.

We elementalist ARE the definition of Diversity in the game. Why the hell we have gotten over 1+ years of patches that the majority has been nerfs?

Hint: It was not because we are bad or anet is bad. It was because even with a stat selection that focused on healing and tanking we were able to still be top dmg.

Wouldn’t main hand focus go better with this?

Take the dust out of all the unused engines, and make sure the servers don’t break with the load of ppl connecting to WvW this week after the update.

Crashes could destroy the hype quickly.

Episode 5 was good overall,
-I loved the map and I give the Mastery an A+.
-I did not like how Taimi bypassed everything with scruffy 2.0 and the fact that there was no big introduction for Scruffy.
-Kasmeer was a cameo nothing more.

Now, I know a bunch of ppl did not like this, but the Mr. B. introduction opens up a lot of posibilities and I like those.

The last fight was a LOT of Fun.

Now… Plz let the product owner of the Legendary Armor to at least look at every skin and outfit of the game… A better message would have been: “I just wanted this set of Legendary Armor to make a homage for what has been made before. To honor what our amazing artists have done in the past.” Since Outfits change weight type look Outlines already.

I know, it will probably happen anyway, the difference is that the blob will have 20 commander tags instead of 1, that’s why I would punish blobs.

I’ve only dabbled in WvW but is that something that would be welcomed by people who play it primarily?

Well… that was one of the few things that made me hate it, because higher tier server only had to stampede others to win.

If it where for me I would go even further and add a condition when more than 10 ppl are running in the same spot called “trample” and will deal dmg to blobs of ppl or a knockdown like when the centaur in lake doric run you over.

I don’t mind gigantic amount of ppl fighting, I just don’t like the cluster of 50+ ppl charging fire field in a small radius and completely destroying others in less than a second.

This is a rage inducing post – sorry – not sorry.

Anet, just don’t let pets or AI controlled characters tag enemies. If they don’t tag mobs, the mobs will not drop loot.

This way, only attacks from your equipped weapons can tag enemies and it will be reduced to auto attacking staff 1 guardians behind trees and pets can still help take enemies out faster for people that are farming while not AFK.

It wont end it, but it will minimize it.

If elementalist get weapon switch I would die… in the moment… just… X___X,

I can clarify that the leak is not fake. Some people reveres searched the image on google and it came back negative, meaning there are none like it. I’m hyped just like everyone is, so ill try to contain my self alittle until a gameplay reveal.

I would suggest to also hold your money in your wallet until every close to release / after release so you are sure you want to buy it.

I regret a lot having bought HoT when we had little to no information to just be disappointed by a bunch of features and the elite spec.

I’m buying the expansion without a doubt, I love Gw2. The only MMO so far that has kept my attention for this long. Been playing since 2012 can’t turn my back on it now.

HoT wasn’t that good at the beginning but when you look back now, after all they have done… its worth that and more.

Well is that plus the past “leak” from the skills… those 2 together are exactly what was posted in the forum long ago as a suggestion that got quite a good amount of support from the ele community… that is why i don’t think it is real.

Try not to overhype yourself, wait for the full details of the elite to be revealed. Personally i try to be as low in expectations as possible, that way i’m never disappointed (but can’t help to get a bit hyped with the leaks lol)

Well… if the point of elite spec is to get a different use of a class, i dont see a prob with not having lots of heals and or condi cleanses… This spec could be focused on dmg and toughness instead of support…. that way tempest will still be extremely useful.

Still, there is no point on hanging on things that are not even confirmed.

I actually love this idea, it is different… but I will evade any type of hype or desperation until anet reveals every details.

I wasn’t able to participate of the AMA for ep. 5 at the time, but maybe there is an answer to my question:

Are the next Elite Spec going to have lore in game on how they came to be or are they going to be introduced like the HoT elites?

I rlly dont care about the skins or animation… I just want to be able to change the stats of all my equipment super quick so I become more able to try different build in the open world AND WvW without having to carry a million armor pieces…..

…Soooo, from a WvW/PvE (non-raid) player, plz add the ability to obtain purple armor to WvW, even if it takes 5 times as much materials to make.

NOW, congratz on daring to add a full set of armor to the game. Fashion wars would rlly benefit if you could transmute THE LOOK of any armor and outfit no matter the weight.

Ppl always talk about MC and Leather but what about Lodestones some of them are around 2g and you need a stack for some legendary.

Positives:
-The Mastery is the my favorite one so far.
-The map is awesome to explore.
-The Spirit Collection has me intrigued and I love the story behind it.
-Kasmeer is back.
-The way we travled to the new map was awesome.
Map es beautifull and all the events are fluent and fun.

Negatives:
-The story is too short.
-(I bet anet will explain this in the future but…) How come we where able to defeat fake Lazarus since he is actually an extremely powerful entity.
-Kasmeer (she came back for 10min… just to disappear for the rest of the ep.)
-(The one that hurt me the most) Scruffy 2.0…. yes, he is in the ep…. but he was treated in the past as if he was his own character and Taimi’s companion… he should have gotten a bigger comeback.

I love the map, and it has the perfect Mastery to go with it!

I hope next ep focuses on Rytlock story and what he saw in the mist and introduce a new Ascalon region map.
