Awesome! tnks for the update. If it has the same quality as the ones before, it is going to be AMAZING!

My guess is that this LS will be shorter since it has had waaaaaaaaaaay more content packed in one episode and when I say shorter I guess it will be 5 or 6 episodes and only 5 will get a new map from Ascalon continent.

Edit: Part of my guess is that the next expan will come out 2-3 months after the last episode.

But to be honest, I am happy with the current dynamic. Great content each 2-3 months is AWESOME! And some day (when it is truly ready) we will get an expansion. I have high hopes, and we as user should let ANET know the direction we want with our wallet (even if it sounds bad), soooo if you prefer Episodes each 2-3 months, buy 5-10 dollars in gem and if you prefer an expansion… wait and buy.

I for one don’t care as long as I get good content and this game is worth every penny (Even HoT).

ANET, just keep doing an awesome job as you have been in this LS and apply that to the next expan whenever it comes out.

Jungle… Plants = Plants that are in the Jungle. BloodStoneFen also has a few along the mussels near the waterfall.

I would like a veggie Gobbler, for all the chef ingredients that that are basically useless.

The same thing happened to every Elite Specialization unfortunately. We just one day could not even touch a weapon and all of the sudden we are not only able to touch the weapon, we can use new powers… just… like…that

Maybe it was an allergic reaction to the Jungle Dragon’s Pollen, or maybe it was Glints egg, idk.

Well… since Garm returned, he had a mist aura around him… maybe that’s Eir’s Spirit.

There is something that Anet is doing witch its really good with the skins! Once you unlock them for one set (light, medium or heavy) it unlocks for the others as well.

Plz do the same with all the different skins in game. Let us mix and match!

To be honest… Not everything has to be 11111111.

I liked that it was hard since we are not talking about a common mob (this was the last boss of the story).

Yes, it was annoying and the Jade bow made it harder. But the check point is right there and you don’t lose progression.

I’m an Ele, and I have the Raid meta build (aka, no Stability outside of earth OL) I died… a LOT… and that is ok.

Too much aoe affecting the game right now. They need to increase the cool down on all aoe skills on all classes not just guard. But, yes I agree. Guard is op and it takes 0 skill to play.

Just make it work like it was in wow(?) with pets; limit the max damage you can take from aoe every second, job done, it would solve wvw problem too.

I just finished watching the Guild chat for Aurene (I’m never able to watch it live but I do watch it in YouTube).

In this guild chat Keavin talked about the difference between playing fetch and catch and that the souvenir quest was meant to be to let the player know you are building a relationship with the baby dragon and not just a “here I am now, see you next year” thing.

Now, for the future you can create a better player involvement for the player if you made a “play catch” daily.

This would make that point come across even more directly instead of indirectly.

Sorry if this was discussed before, but if other Dragons absorb the defeated dragon’s powers; wouldn’t this mean that other dragons would be able to control the sylvari characters?

This has been the best season so far.

Since it started I have not seen any AFKs.
I have played with all my pvp characters (Temp, Engi and War) and I have both won and lost some.

The only thing I have seen is a lot of ppl are using a macro to jump and evade at the same time. (witch looks cool, btw) but Idk if this gives them an advantage.

But overall, I’m happy so far. Anet, has done an extremely awesome job.

All I know is that no matter what you say, this is the most effective and efficient Season of PvP in GW2. Even when I lose because of an AFK person I don’t get punished as long as I do my part.

I will keep giving feedback each 3 days, but so far so good

Ele do hit hard, we just wont last much without off-hand foci and the support build.

To be honest there is so much power creep that by undoing all the nerfs pre-HoT it would be good enough.

Also I believe Dagger~off-hand~Water 5 does not scale Heal with Healing Power.

Change is good, if we don’t try different things and test it with all of us Anet will never get to know where to direct their efforts in.

To be honest I just use it for the Aura/Condi cleanse.

The rez factor is worthless, since by the time you are killed it will heal for less than 4k with Healing Power and by that time you are probably being targeted and in less than the tick of the activation you are in down state.

We are aware of the Kodan tonic ‘spam’ and the use of tonics in WvW to trigger weapon-swap effects. I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that in the next update the Endless Kodan Tonic will have a 5 second cool down and will not be useable while in combat. We also plan to make it so you can’t use any tonics in combat going forward, but that will be coming in a later update since doing this work to all tonics in the game is going to take more time to implement and test.

Soooo, it will become a regular tonic? … Not a Combat Tonic?

In othe words: Are we going to be able to fight as a kodan if we activate the tonic before we fight?

Last boss is weird. Maybe I missed some hint at the start.
Making him charge at mobs to destroy rocks is kinda weird. Long tooltip about how they have 98% resistance to attacks did not help either.

Same happened to me. But learning is part of the fun. After I failed the first time I figured it out.

I would love for ANET to make a UW update with content… but unfortunately most of the mayor content creators (Specially WP) hate UW and they never give any recommendations on how to fix it, or they just want to focus on all the other components of the game.

Not acknowledging all the awesome cultures, lore and possible event that can become part of the GW2 universe.

I watch all of WP’s video’s. He has never stated this to my knowledge, and has hoped they would bring it back for some time( Just watch his videos on the new pvp maps, and raid on the capricorn). Don’t go around name dropping unless you can confirm your claims.

Then we are watching different WPs. Cause he constantly talks smack of quaggan, skritts and UW content.

I am a WP follower, and what I do on content droughts is rematch old videos in order, I’ll advice you to do the same and see what I’m talking about.

Idk if it was my computer, but after the last mission when it jumps to the cut scene it did not make any sense to me how it jumped from one thing to another.

Also, you really need an option for hi resolution, that cut scene looked soooo ugly on my monitor, I would have preferred it to be with in-game graphics than the low res scene.

Edit: On the positive side: yes, this map is the most beautiful so far and the map events and hearts are really cool. Great job with that!

I have never liked any Norn outside of Eir, usually they are extremely bland and boring. Braham, although he has too many mommy issues at least has character.

Another lesson is that it is easier and cheaper to buy cultural armor in WvW than in PvE.

To be honest I’m kind of lost with the current status of each character, but specially with Kasmeer.

Yeah, I was just talking about time efficiency. At the beginning I did not even have to open the LFG, they just appeared. Now you have to wait for someone to get out of their routine to help you.

Soooo I do understand, from a “fun” perspective it would “not” be fun for some ppl, but from the perspective of getting map completion and mastery points faster it still stands.

In conclusion:

“Fun” People:
Have it your way.

Not so “Fun” People:
Forget about Story instances and zerg the kitties out of the maps.

By lessons learned I meant that it was waaaay easier before. I did it recently, and yes it is possible (if it were impossible anet would have fixed it) but my lesson is rush map completion when a expansion comes out since you are going to be able to complete it in a quarter or the time it takes now.

Hi everyone, I decided to make this post where we can share lessons learn from GW2 and when a expansion comes out.

For example:

The lesson that I learned was that I should have completed the HoT maps when everyone was in the maps when HoT came out since to complete it now you need to either have a helping guild or wait for planned events in the community if you want to do it quickly.

Edit: This is my opinion, considering the fact that next week is thanksgiving (aka black week) and a lot of employees will be with their families.

Season 5 will definitely not begin tomorrow. There’s always a blog about it and I don’t remember seeing a date listed under ranked on the PvP match queue.

It was only a wild guess, and since they did not even promote the legendary tournament it wouldn’t surprise me. Anyhow, if not today, it will most probably be on December.

To be honest, I did mine in 2 weeks… just by doing dailies (not all of them). I also played for 1 hr on each reset and just joined the biggest zerg.

I would love deathmatch, not only on this map, but an option for all. Down state is a waist of time where now the meta is to let ppl bleed to death if they have no allies around.

Sooo yeah, deathmatch or remove down state.
