I would focus on weapons that are not used a lot or the weapons that the majority of classes cant use.
Why have a report? why not just add a way for them to leave and get replaced?
I’d much rather have a working Leave button during the warm up phase. When someone uses it, the countdown pauses until he’s been replaced.
Seems like a much better solution than throwing reports, frustration and general hatred around.
Like in the Dragon Bash Festival? No thank you, that is the reason I hate dragon bash, ppl keep switching teams until they are in a winning team.
I just want to report them so they get a penalty, that’s all.
They can make it like when you want to kick some1 from the party, once some1 reports the others confirm if they are AFK and that way they get the penalty.
Can the elementals be more like minions in that when you conjure them they will be with you until they die instead of by time.
Also the Glyph trait is basically useless, can you change it to remove a boon from the enemy instead of applying a boon?
If you have gliding this JP is SUPER easy!
Just go to the highest part (higher than the chests) and glide your way to the highest Orb, then just glide your way from top to bottom getting the 12 Orbs.
Return to the chests and done.
Can the elementalist be immune to dmg, and/or CCs while casting Ride the Lightning?
In PvP everyone has access to CC and it is basically imposible to land this attack witch also triggers the longer cool down by not landing the attack.
So yeah, my suggestion is to either make the elementalist immune to dmg and/or CCs and/or remove the cool down penalty.
Can we add a category for reporting on PvP for ppl that AFK then the match starts.
It is annoying to be almost winning a 5v5 and losing because some decided to stop playing.
That way they can receive a penalty in PvP.
Mesmers are still OP in PvP.
A team with a teleport mesmer will always win against a team without a teleport mesmer with them. They just stay together and teleport to the point with less ppl of the other team and done.

These toys do not need swiftness – they are not mounts (for the love of Dhuum, don’t add those to the game).
Actually, they do sell them as mounts.
I love the idea of swiftness on carpet, broom, etc.
This thing are used in PvE, not anywhere else, so adding swiftness would not affect any1 in a negative way.
Also, every class has perma swiftness, so it would be more of an QoL thing.
Anyhow, I will not buy the toys until they give swiftness in PvE.
In a game that every1 has perma-swiftness, is it too hard for Mounts (broom, carpet, etc) to give swiftness while you are on them?
I can already run faster with my regular character that with a mount, and it is cool that the mounts now reactivate once a fight is over but really it is a hassle and not worth the money.
Is there a way, or is it possible to have a Grand Master Trait or any type of trait that would give wheels to the Turrets or some turrets?
I though Gyros would stay with the Scrapper until deployed, but they are AI controlled and never stay with the Scrapper witch does not even play with the class since they jump around all over the place or are in constant movement.

Teleport chrono or mesmer is always a req in PvP
A good QoL for underwater would be a separate build tab for underwater, that way even if not all trait work in UW you can have a build with the ones that do.
Can I move the Deploy button to the evade button instead of the jump button? That way it would not mess up my Jumping Puzzles so much.

Can you explain where Elite Spec came from in future Updates? What happened that a class could not even wield a weapon before and out of nowhere they can not only wield id but gain additional power from it?
No matter how awesome the latest patch was and is, my mind wont stop asking where the heck did all the Elite Specs came from and where the heck did all does Revenants become to be. I don’t think a personal story should be continued, but a class story and elite spec should be.
Please ANET, you have the lore, and if you are never going to add this stories, at least don’t create another Expansion with Elite spec without explaining where they came from. Make it part of getting the abilities, or give a piece of armor for the Elite Spec for each chapter to make it rewarding.
Now that I think about it, they could add a Mastery for mount, and allow certain content to be accessed via the mount of the mastery lv.
You seem like a person that has a lot of love to give… Play with every profession, get ascended armor for light, mid and heavy and share it.
This game becomes more fun with alt.
Whereas in 10 chests I got a ticket, some scraps (sadly 1 shy of filling out to another ticket), a Balthazar’s Rifle (that I should have sold to high bidder right away, hindsight lets me know — I listed it so I’d get over 150 gold from it but today it was down to 30 gold sale listings, alas, so I sold to high bidder before it went down further), some unidentified dyes and two Glint dye kits (no special dyes in them), along with misc stuff.
Not the perma hair kit I always distantly hope for but it was a decent haul for 10 chests. RNG happens.
When I grow up… I want to have the RNGs you have.
Three tickets, or three ticket scraps? Because three tickets sounds like an outstanding draw.
RNG is RNG. The odds might have improved, but I wouldn’t count on seeing major fruits of that in ten random chests.

idk if you noticed, but what they did was just a undo to all the Elementalist nerfs to dagger, scepter, and staff fire 1.
In the past dagger was the meta and by undoing the most of the past nerfs and leaving the staff strong I believe you will see more type of weapons being used.
where is the unnerf to ride the lightning then.
You mean the one that does not allow ele to cast ride the lightning in mid air? does that count as a nerf when no other character can cast abilities in mid air?
Anyhow, I tried it and I like it more than what we had before.
The lore of the game is that weapons are how chars focus magical energies, or something like that. Unlikely that they’d throw that out 3 years into the game.
well… they never explained how out of nowhere ele where able to use a warhorn… sooooo in a way they already did.
I have said this before. Either a hide or an invisible weapon, but hide/invisible weapon should not work in PvP or WvW, since being able to see a weapon affects strategy.

Every time ANET does a good update I buy 10 dollars of gems… and when they do a bad one (based on my opinion) I penalize by not buying anything for 3 mo…

I understand that developers and designer, etc don’t care about the money I give, they only care about that the content they create gets acknowledge and accepted, but Mr.Admin always care about money and this way I say ty to the team that did the great job and ty to Mr.Admin for allowing them to do so.

… what build did you created in such a short period of time? … did you test it? did the buffs and nerfs that other professions got improved our odds as elementalists in PvP or did it do the opposite?

the introduction of regeneration on auras as last ditch change was a fail…. Change it to 3s quickness …
I love Ele, but isn’t quickness an OP stat for Ele?
I say this because we have the signet of healing and if we attack faster we will have our health at full most of the time, witch will proc all our traits that are 75%+ health all the time.
I do like the idea, but quickness is to strong of a buff for me.
and yes… the title is really strong and harsh… but that’s the American journalist in me ^_^
With todays patch idk why I’m expecting another nerf to my Ele.
I imagine it is because Elementalists have been getting a nerf for every patch since HoT (with the exception of the “Scepter buff”).
Right now we have the bunker Cleric meta, witch is the most boring meta to date where you don’t do dmg but you can survive a 4v1 while your team in PvP take the points in other places.
Soooo yeah, Eles are getting used to constant nerfs but we will continue to make the best with what’s thrown at us.

I said it when Hot was announced. Elemtalist, with maces, mesmers with short bows, necros with rifles… these are only examples.

Mobs are fine, I can move through any map without too many issues, running through raptors and smokescales is suicide so just take your time to either kill them or avoid them.
The map that everyone complains about, tangled depths is actually when you look at it very easy to navigate, hint use the skills you have developed and don’t blindly stumble through the tunnels.
I get you, but I believe they are talking about the events, HP, and other content and achievements that ppl cant get because they are not in a YUGE Zerk Squad like before.
In the beginning I would have HATED a nerf to the difficulty of HoT maps… But in the beginning the maps where always full…
Right now, with empty maps is basically impossible to do them alone.
After checking every guide (and watching every video too many times), I think this is broken.
I have:
1. my character in W2Z3 at the right place
2. wooden whistle, equipped and playing the right song 332331 (at the right time, by the door)
3. I have the achievement for all the hidden rooms in W2Z2 – so yes I have the song unlocked and did this in Z2I have tried it identical to the way Dulfy does it.
I have tried it identical to the way Kelani does it.
I have tried a few other variations changing which of the clouds I land on first and last.The door never opens.
This happened to me 2 days ago, I just tried it everyday until it finally opened.
I would LOVE to have them on pink and purple.
