Thew new BL map designs were pretty much the worst thing they could have done for WvW. Most of the guilds that are dedicated to WvW want to go to EBG because it is the only map that still supplies the types of interactions that they are looking for. At a time when WvW was fading a bit, especially in the lower tiers, they added these larger BL maps with more complex paths that now more closely resemble an empty maze than a WvW borderland.

Thats great that it gets, maybe a handful more PvE people into the map, but the lifeblood that was keeping WvW going were the WvW guilds, and every change made seems to just fly in the face of what those people are looking for.

The doors are still open, and we are looking for a few fun guys/gals to join our ranks and be a part of the ESP legacy as we move into the new year and beyond.

ESP was formed in 2005 in GW1, where we were an ANET ‘Guild of the Week’ and ‘Notable Guild’. Many of our members followed over into GW2 and we have met many other new friends as we make our new legacy in this game. We focus on ‘casually-hardcore’ styles of play, where people don’t have to feel pressured into doing anything in particular, but we do strive to work well together and succeed as a team.

We also are well known for our strong love of the noble platypus (we even have our own festival to commemorate it), delicious vodka, tasty crumpets, and we may or may not wear any pants.

• We are an 18+ guild with an international player base. Yes, we have people from all over the world join us. We set up guild events for all time zones, so long as there is sufficient interest shown by members.
• We run a heavy rotation of events that includes guild missions 3x a week, plus WvW raids, PvP meetings, scheduled PvE raids and even a dash of RP
• Experience is not required. We would rather have members who are fun to hang out with, rather than someone with a ‘know it all’ attitude. We are more than willing to help out and train new people
• We do expect majority rep time from all of our members.
