At this time we are still open for recruitment.
We have a very active NA and European base, and would love to get more Oceanics to help us cover activities during that time of day.
While anyone who is interested is invited to apply, at the moment we have a special focus on WvW players.
Tarnished Coast offers an outstanding community, a high level of cooperation amongst our players, and a lot of talented players to interact with. We are inclusive and see the large variety of players on our server as a strength.
TC Forums: http://www.forthetoast.com
About the Coast:
Tarnished Coast was a long-term contender in T2 and we eventually climbed our way up to tier 1. The server placed 3rd in the Gold League during the First WvW Season and we are currently poised to finish in the top rankings of Season 2.
We are the unofficial North American RP server and are home to a very robust and growing WvW community that has ascended gradually through the server rankings. We pride ourselves on our quirkiness, our tenacity, and our community. In WvW we have a very strong militia and a variety of guilds with different interests and specialization. This wide spectrum of interests and experience has given us a very inclusive server attitude.
What we are looking for:
Due to the nature of T1 we seek to round out our coverage so that we will be able to ensure engaging and fun fights with all manner of opponents. Currently our biggest needs are during late NA/early SEA times and early EU.
What we can offer to transfers:
- Repping from TC WvW guild members to help build influence for transfer guilds
- Guilds that offer open guild missions
- Server-wide events and contests including beauty contests, races, trivia, and more
- An active and engaging WvW scene with tough opponents
- Weekly WvW meetings and access to strategic WvW resources
- A server-wide Mumble for voice communications
- A strong sense of community that is welcoming and encouraging
- One of the strongest PvE communities out of all the NA servers
- Respect: we welcome anyone looking to make TC their home

2014 will mark the 9th year of existence for the Everlasting Sacred Path. As things stand right now, we are still open accepting a few new members into our ranks.
Over the year ahead you can expect the same focus on camaraderie and member interaction, a high level of activity (weekly events, yearly parties, creative activities), and the same level of innovation as we redefine just what all a guild can accomplish together.
Look us up via our web site: http://www.espguild.com or feel free to contact any of our members direction for more details.
Here’s looking to a great new year.
We are still actively accepting new members into the guild. We have people from NA, European, and Oceanic regions, giving us stable coverage for all times of the day.
Our guild events remain as follows:
- WvW at least three times a week, sometimes more
- Guild Missions three times a week
- sPvP twice a week
- Weekly dungeons/jumping puzzles
- Weekly living story focus group
- Assortment of other events and yearly parties that we create
Most importantly of all, we work well together, are well structured. and have fun participating in activities as a guild. Coming up next will be our 8th annual Winter Holiday Party
Tarnished Coast runs organized WvW extremely well together as a community and we could always use a few extra experienced commanders.
You can find more about our guilds and players at http://forthetoast.com/ or feel free to contact me directly with any questions.
We had a blast with our 8th annual Halloween party.
Recruitment remains open for now, although I expect that we will probably close it again some time before the end of the year.
Looking ahead, we would like to continue to expand our war efforts in WvW and we will continue to host the wide variety of player events that we are known for.
I highly encourage people from all over the world to have a look at our guild, as we offer 24/7 activity and have a great group of officers in place who help make things fun for all.
Many thanks to all the Tarnished Coast residents (and guests) who came out to help us support Pink Day in LA. Everything went extremely well and we had a great time organizing all the various events and watching the competition unfold.
Coming up next for us is the ESP Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26th.
We will continue to keep recruitment open throughout the month of October, and perhaps for a little while beyond. I’ll be sure to post with any updates. If you are looking for a guild that is organized yet always fun and goes the extra mile to create memorable gaming experiences then I encourage you to check us out.
As always, I am open to answering questions that anyone may have.
@MaKeoSeu.2714
You do realize that you are bumping a ton of threads that are a month older or more. All these people probably found guilds long ago and you are just cluttering up the forum with your needless bumps.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
Yeah, it seems like not many of the RP guilds check this forum for whatever reason. You would probably have better luck at http://www.guildwars2roleplayers.com/ which covers RP guilds from both Piken Square and Tarnished Coast.
Next week, on Saturday, October 19th, [ESP] is playing host on Tarnished Coast for Pink Day in LA.
For more about this event see: http://pinkday.gamergivingback.com/
Feel free to come hang out with us in support of a good cause and win some fun prizes along the way.
It has been a while since we closed recruitment, but we are once again accepting new members into [ESP]. All info from the original posting here is still current.
October promises to be a busy month as we prepare to help host Pink Day in LA on Tarnished Coast (Oct 19th), get ready for our guild Halloween party (Oct 26th), as well as continue to host all of our usual events — WvW, Dungeons, Living Story, tPvP, and the (un)usual crazy mischief that we tend to have a knack for creating.
Please visit us at our web site – http://www.espguild.com – or look for us directly in game and we will be happy to speak with you about our guild.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
Looking forward to this. Pink Day is always one of our favorite events.
You might want to look at [NAGA], [Awe], or [xTyr]. They all focus on players close to your time zone. You can find out more at http://www.tcgw2.com
Next weekend we will be celebrating our 8th year of [ESP]. Feel free to come by and join in on the party events. Those looking for a new place to call home can expect plenty more interesting years ahead for the guild.
Tarnished Coast is the unofficial RP server for the NA region so you will find that a great majority of the RP-interested players are over there.

Active Since 2005 — International Player Base -- A True PvX Guild — 18+ Age Requirement -- Tarnished Coast Server
About Us:
ESP is a guild which was formed in Guild Wars over seven years ago and ever since our inception we have remained steadily active. After racking up numerous awards and accomplishments, including ‘Guild of the Week’ as recognized by Arenanet on Nov 28th, 2006, we now concentrate upon Guild Wars 2 with full force to continue our legacy.
ESP is a social guild — meaning that our primary focus is upon the people who make up our guild and the sense of community that we all share in together. Together we seek to explore every angle and all aspects of the game, always with the aim of having a kitten ed good time in the process. To help facilitate our high level of activity and encourage interaction within our guild we organize many of our own events and highly encourage people to make use of our guild forums and our TS3 server. As a member of this guild you are part of a team that bands together, sticks together, and offers everyone an equal voice
In Guild Wars 2 our events range from weekly dungeon groups, sPvP teams, WvW raids, and a weekly RP event, as well as a number of unique yearly events and tournaments which we devise ourselves.
To summarize: we are one of the longest-standing guilds in the game, we are here to stay, we are here to have fun, and we don’t take our success too seriously (because we are also here for your crumpets, pants, vodka, and platypi).
Member Requirements:
We are an 18+ Guild. Aside from that, what we look for when we review prospective new members are people who are friendly, easy-going, and who have a strong willingness to interact with us and take part in guild activities. We would rather have someone who will run around laughing and having a great time win or lose rather than someone who is a professional at the game and plays 40-hours per week (not to say that some of us aren’t game addicts). We believe that our easy-going humor along with just the right amount of organization are the keys to our longevity.
Our player base is international; we have members from every continent (except for Antarctica), so people from everywhere in the world are encouraged to come find a new home with us —a home where you can find great people to play with no matter what time zone you live in.
Joining:
If you are interested in joining ESP then you are encouraged to review our charter on our web site at http://www.espguild.com and then submit a post telling us a little bit about yourself and the best way for us to contact you (note that you will need to register before being able to view all content). You are also welcome to contact us directly in game (look for Karuna or Danni in Guild Wars 2) and we will be happy to answer whatever questions you may have.
Please understand that we are careful about who we allow into the guild and we will likely want to get to know you a little bit before actually issuing an invite — both for your benefit, to help ensure that our guild is truly fit for your needs, and also for ours to make sure that all of the new members that we bring mingle well with our current group.
I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read this post and I look forward to seeing you all in-game!
~Karuna

We continue to search for additional WvW focused or WvW interested individuals as well as members of the international community. Most importantly of all, we operate in a no-stress, no-pressure environment where everyone can relax and have fun.
We have had some great inquiries recently. Keep them coming, we are still open to accepting new members.
Upcoming events: Guild meeting and missions (we have all mission types unlocked) this Saturday. Monday WvW.
The 8th year birthday of ESP is fast approaching. We have some fun events planned for the celebration and will be making an official announcement here in the near future.
If you are looking for a guild that has a long and illustrious history, focuses on people rather than just numbers, stays active, and knows how to have fun then I encourage you to come have a look at what all we have to offer.
~Karuna
Greetings Mitsuru
The Everlasting Sacred Path [ESP] was established back in 2005 and we have been running strong ever since. We value fun, camaraderie, and creativity, while still respecting skill and striving for a high level of coordination.
http://www.espguild.com — Tarnished Coast Influence
Our events cover the entire gamut from WvW to tPvP to Dungeons/Jumping puzzles, all of the various types of guild missions, plus some unique contests that we devise ourselves.
We tend to have people on ventrilo 24/7 and you will find that our forums stay very active as well. Feel free to drop by and have a look around to see what we are all about, and you are also more than welcome to get in touch directly with me or any guild officer and we will be more than happy to chat with you.
Take care,
~Karuna
We are still looking for some more people to join our family. Our current preferences go to people with some degree of WvW experience or who are willing to participate and learn as well as people who play outside of NA peak hours.
If RP is your primary interest then I would suggest you check out http://www.gw2rp.com
Tarnished Coast and Piken Square are the unofficial home for GW2 roleplayers for the North American and European region respectively.
Our guild is on TC and has a light RP-focus — hosting a few RP events amongst all the various activities that we run. You can find out more about [ESP] at http://www.espguild.com
http://www.tcgw2.com is a great reference for getting info on and connecting with most of the active WvW and PvX guilds on Tarnished Coast.
You can also check out our guild at http://www.espguild.com
ESP is a large-ish guild that has never lost that close family atmosphere. We value personality over skill, though we admire the later to some extent. We continue to look for more WvW-interested players from all over the world as well as anyone who fits in well with our mixture of easy-going fun and well-organized events.
We are a long standing guild that has a positive reputation with Arenanet. During our time we have been recognized as a ‘Guild of the Week’ — http://www.guildwars.com/community/guildweek/gotw-2006-11-28-esp.php and we are also listed as a ‘Notable Guild’
What we are currently looking for:
Members with a strong interest in WvW. We do not WvW every day, but when we have guild Wuv Wuv events, we expect people to try their best to be there.
Members from outside the US, or who have play times outside of normal NA primetime. We are an international guild looking to further expand our non-NA presence. We love the diversity of our guild and seek to embrace even more quality players from all around the world.
We would absolutely love to have another late-night commander that could help cover anywhere from 10pm – 6am server time.
Stop by our forums or contact any member of guild leadership for more info.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
While there may be a few roleplayers scattered elsewhere, Tarnished Coast is the unofficial RP server for the NA region and Piken Square is the unofficial RP server for EU, so those are your two best bets. The site linked above hosts rp communities from both servers.
Keg Brawl Bonanza was a lot of fun last night. Today we have ‘Wuv Wuv Wonday’ (WvW event) and we have a new Witch Hunt slated for this coming Saturday.
We are still open to accepting new member from all over, with a special focus on people who have playtimes outside of the NA region to help round out our roster.
The days of long queues are mostly over in this game. From a WvW standpoint it is actually healthy to have a short queue for your maps — it means that you are fielding a full team on a consistent basis. Longer queues get to be a pain, but as I mentioned, that pretty much doesn’t happen anywhere any more.
It’s a big game and most medium population servers are probably going to seem pretty quiet by comparison to the rest. Those servers really need more people, but it is a matter of whether or not you are willing to take the tradeoff of not having enough people around for events and a much lower level of competitiveness in WvW.
I want to say thank you TC, FA and BG for the best WvW experience we had in T2.
Looks like we may never see each other again unless we gain new allies in the future.
With all guilds leaving, I’m projecting that we may go down to T5 maybe T6? We’ll see how it goes specially we are down to 2 NA WvW guilds lol.
Many of us over on the Coast are sorry to see Kaineng losing steam. You guys have been excellent opponents over all of the weeks that we have faced each other in tier 2. Wishing you the best whichever way the tides may turn.
Another busy Thursday night ahead for us with WvW Training, our tPvP event, and then a repeat of guild bounties/rushes for anyone who missed out on the earlier runs.
Talk to any of our members if you would like more info and/or want to join in with us on some of our activities.
Lots of exciting things ahead for the Everlasting Sacred Path this year. We will be celebrating our 8th year anniversary in June with a big community party. There is also another ‘Guild Wars Family Feud’ in the works.
All this in addition to the usual WvW, tPvP, and high end PvE play that we partake in plus the random shenanigans that we are known for. Stop in today to see how being part of a guild can be fun while still keeping your competitive edge.
~Karuna
I appreciate that you guys are trying to find a solution that works better for everyone, but I honestly don’t think the time that you have chosen is it.
I don’t see how two hours earlier is going to make a huge difference for EU and it is going count out a very significant portion of the NA population. Probably worse for the majority of Oceanic players as well.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
WvW guilds will all know about it, but it doesn’t leave a lot of time for guilds and servers to figure out an alternate course of action. Majority of the fun on reset night comes from coordinating that big initial push and taking the field with the rest of your guild/allies.
This new reset time is probably going to interfere with the plans of about 50% of the NA players who used to show up before.
Many have mentioned this already, but this is going to be terribly inconvenient for the majority of NA players. This moves reset to a time that is still awkward at best for a lot of EU and impossible for any NA players who have work/school or other real life commitments.
It is Friday Wuv Wuv reset night and [ESP] will be taking the field. Come check us out if you would like to join in on the fun.
I’ve always wondered why do people post threads like this. It seems uninformative and pointless to me.
We like Kaineng and hope that they do return to form. The competition in T2 has been simply amazing and it wouldn’t be the same without them constantly beating on our keeps/towers and giving us hell.
An update on our current recruitment needs:
The Everlasting Sacred Path is a clan that is now going on 8 years old. We have a mature member base from all around the world (currently at 270 members) and we cater to those who prefer a casual and yet competitive gaming environment. Rather than focus on one particular aspect of the game we prefer to vary our events and experience all that GW2 has to offer.
While anyone is welcome to apply, we have a few particular needs that we would like to address:
- Players outside of NA peak hours — We currently have a strong NA presence within the guild and a moderate presence during European and Oceanic/Asian hours. We would like to boost our international presence in order to have more people to help coordinate guild events during these times. We love the diversity of our guild and wish to see it grow even further.
- Players with a strong interest in WvW — I would not classify us as a ‘hardcore WvW guild’. However, we do have guild WvW events three nights a week and we will spontaneously form teams at other times based upon player interest. We run well-organized groups and enjoy trying out various tactics and could always use more people who are interested in running along with us.
What we offer:
- Officers based in NA, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East
- Active and professional guild forums
- 75-slot ventrilo server
- Around the clock coverage where there is always someone to game with
- A sense of humor coupled with a desire to play well
- Guild bounties, treks, and rushes unlocked. Getting ready to research guild challenges.
We do prefer that people apply on our forums, as we are selective in who we invite. All interested parties are also welcome to contact me directly or our co-leader Danni.4756 and we will be happy to chat with you and answer any questions.
Thank you all, and happy gaming,
~Karuna

I wouldn’t call 6k points ‘pretty far behind’. TC was farther behind last week before coming back to win the thing.
This is still anyone’s ball game.
Nearly half of our guild (of 260) is female, including the co-leader. I hear what you are saying, but it is def not always the case.
Great job this week Tarnished Coast. The server is really coming together and seems to just keep steadily getting stronger.
That being said, we could still really use some more Oceanic/SEA/Asian/European coverage. Then maybe some of our WvW regulars will start getting a little more sleep
Our first Guild Rush was a blast, thanks to all who attended!
The idea of assigning labels to servers isn’t a terrible one. Although, I have to disagree with you on the notion that TC has declined in any way. I would say that the community is just as stable, if not more so, than it has ever been.
Just because a server is designated as a ‘roleplay’ server does not mean that only roleplayers are welcome there. Almost all of the people that I know of who have come to the server recently made an educated decision to come to TC because of the community aspect and our overall level of maturity. They may or may not have any interest in RP but they all have a strong interest in finding a strong, stable community to join.
You also have to realize that ever since guesting we have been seeing a lot of people from other servers guest to TC for PvE because our PvE community is so active. Not everyone that you see running around is necessarily a member of the Coast.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
Well you are asking for EU time zone play times on a NA server. You may want to try looking at EU servers as that is your primary play time. Just a suggestion.
Almost all of the top NA servers have a significant EU presence, Blackgate and JQ especially. Tarnished Coast has a growing EU population as well.
Sarah, I assume you are not looking to transfer servers, but if so, there are many great guilds on TC that would be happy to have you
You are welcome to come check out the Everlasting Sacred Path [ESP] — http://www.espguild.com — Tarnished Coast (the [MKAT] thing on the website is an April Fools joke that I decided to leave up for the week)
We are an international guild with a lot of people in the Pacific time zone, plus Oceanics, Europeans, Asians, etc . . . so we spread out our events to accommodate everyone.
If you would rather look around some more, http://www.tcgw2.com is a good resource to get information about some of the most active guilds on our server.
Feel welcome to look me up if you have any questions.
It isn’t too uncommon for me to find promising new guild members who happen to be on other servers. Usually we will end up helping out a bit with transfer costs so they can join the ‘family’ on our home server.
Anyone willing to give it a shot will find TC to be the most welcoming community in the game.
The Everlasting Sacred Path [ESP] is now MuthahKitten Awesome Train [MKAT]!
Check it out here: http://www.espguild.com
The guild party Saturday was a blast. My thanks to everyone who showed up and had a good time with us.
