Tarnished Coast has a couple of former CD guilds (Cynical and KH) as well as some extremely talented guild that have called TC home for a long time (PiNK, TC, DIS, CERN, just to name few.) And it is a great environment within which to play — free of egos and full of cooperation.
[ESP] isn’t really a hardcore WvW guild but we do organize for wuv at least three nights a week and could benefit from another experienced commander. Feel free to look me up or check us out at http://www.espguild.com for more info.
You should definitely stick with Tarnished Coast since you are already on the best server
http://www.tcgw2.com is a great resource for active TC guilds.
You are also welcome to check out [ESP] at http://www.espguild.com
It is preferable for people to post an application over on our forums or get in touch directly with a guild officer
As I do not check these forums every day, and we do not auto-invite anyone that we have not first spoken to in game.
On another note. It is almost time again for our big Friday WvW reset event, we have Guild Rushes in our build queue, and this Saturday is our yearly Platypusapalooza festival.
Feel free to come by and see what all the commotion is about.

I like the sound of AFS. I see that a few of my server-mates have already provided some info about Tarnished Coast so I just wanted to drop in and say ‘hello’ and confirm that TC would welcome you with open arms.
WvW is a 24/7 battle in tier 2 currently and often comes down to the wire as far as who will come out ahead. I moved my guild to TC back last October and have never once regretted it. The organization and commitment of the players is second to none and we have a lot of fun together while still competing at a high level. It has been great to see this server continue to grow and develop.
If you are looking to make a move that will provide you with an enjoyable gaming experience for the long-term (which it sounds like you are) then I cannot recommend Tarnished Coast highly enough.

You will not find any sort of elitist attitudes within [ESP] — it just doesn’t jive well with us. There is no guarantee that you will always find a guild group for the exact thing that you want to do at the moment (“Hey, lets go do a drunken pantsless Arah run in reverse!” . . . ok, bad example maybe. We would be all over that party to be honest.)
But, we have a nice mix of seasoned players (at least as seasoned as they come thus far in this game) as well as newcomers and so long as people are fun and interested in participating with the guild when they can, then we happily accept people of all various interests and do our best within reason to help each other out.
We have regularly scheduled times for guild bounties and we shall have treks unlocked this Thursday
After that we will be ready to start research for rushes.
Caen [SM] from Maguuma has us all beat

Quoted for truth
With only one or two more oceanic/asia/sea guilds, TC would be dominating tier 2
wait wut?
yes wut! and it is true
Tarnished Coast has the finest and most stable PvE community bar none. We also have a very dedicated and well coordinated group for WvW.
We really need and would love to have some more oceanic players. You are welcome to get in touch with me if you would like any particular details about the server community.

Tarnished Coast is once again showing that ‘never give up’ spirit that has been a big part of the identity of this server for so long. If you are looking for lots of people who will fight beside you and stick it out for the long haul then this is certainly the best place to find it.
I have to admit that at first I had reservations about bringing my guild to Tarnished Coast (back in October). The general opinion within the GW2 community seemed to be that TC was a mindless zerg server that only won through sheer numbers and I had fears of getting caught in the midst of crazy RP drama — not what I was looking for!
I was pretty close to crossing Tarnished Coast off my list of possibilities, but then I actually transferred over for a week to check it out and was surprised to find that all those preconceptions were entirely wrong.
I have to say now that this is the most well organized and most supportive community that I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. There is no official alliance and we don’t need one because everyone just naturally works together for the good of the Coast.
We have a very dedicated WvW community here that boasts many talented individuals — too many for me to possibly name in a single post. Your best bet is to come give us a try or reach out to those of us who are active in the community. If you are looking for a change then you will find many people here willing to talk to you about what it could mean for you and/or your guild to come to Tarnished Coast.
Recruitment is still open for ESP. We are a fun, casual guild that is also well-organized and involved in a wide variety of events.
The guild will officially turn 8-years old this June and we continue to grow and find innovative ways to interact as a community.
Currently we have Guild Bounties unlocked and are in the process of researching Guild Treks.
As always, feel welcome to stop by our forums (which are actually active gasp) or look us up in game.

www.tcgw2.com is a good place to introduce yourself to the Tarnished Coast community and to find some good guilds to hook up with.
You are also welcome to check out [ESP] at http://www.espguild.com
We continue to search for some extra help to compliment our extremely strong NA presence.
If you would like to be a difference-maker in competitive WvW then without a doubt Tarnished Coast is the place to be.
I just have to say . . . I love your account name . . . I forget now how it all even started but in our guild – the Everlasting Sacred Path [ESP] – the platypus became sort of our official mascot and we run a number of platypus-themed guild events like ‘Ponies -vs- Platypi’ and our big yearly event that we have fondly titled Platypusapalooza.
I would love to snatch you up just for your name alone. However, we are quite proud of our guild as well and don’t really believe in having ‘part time’ members.
So, I just wanted to say hello and wish you well in your search
You might want to check out the site tcgw2.com
A lot of the larger TC guilds post there and there is a nice guild listing along with some recruitment posts. Also, I am sending you a pm with some info regarding our guild, ESP, since it looks like we cover all the qualities that you are looking for.
We are about to head back into T2, where we are likely to be staying for some while. The match up of Kaineng / Fort Aspenwood / Tarnished coast figures to be extremely competitive.
This is your chance to join our team of amazing WvW players and guilds and experience the very best of t2 combat.
As the leader of a fellow Tarnished Coast guild I can say that Cynical are some great people to work with. Highly recommended.
Most active PvE community in the game? check
Competitive PvP without all the stress and ego’s check
Talented WvW crew that can stack up and bring the pain to absolutely anyone during our prime time? check
Overnight Oceanic and European crew? this is where we need you
Also, as Maguuma has declined a Celebrity Commander, I move that it be represented by the QVC Shopping Network.
Seconded (or thirded I guess since I was beaten to it)
Good luck to Blackgate in t1 and to Kaineng in t2. It has been a lot of fun fighting against all your great people over the past three weeks. I think we have enjoyed the most friendly and civil rivalry of any three servers in any tier. I’m sure we shall meet each other on the field of battle again at some point.
To Dragonbrand and Maguuma: I hope you guys are ready. TC is ready to start picking up steam again during our break in t3 and make another push upwards.

We tend to do a bunch of creative events in our guild — bi-weekly meetings that feature different activities, witch hunts (sort of like the mafia game), a weekly RP event, some big holiday events, plus Platypusapalooza which is a holiday we just made up ourselves
But, we are on the Tarnished Coast server
Greetings jbonina,
Feel welcome to have a look at the Everlasting Sacred Path [ESP] – http://www.espguild.com and message me here or in game if you would like to talk over the details of possibly having your group join up.
You can also find some info on other good Tarnished Coast guilds over at http://www.tcgw2.com
The main problem with this idea (aside from having to build all of your upgrades up from lvl 0 again) is that guild influence is tied to the server that it was earned on. Thus, unless everyone is on the same home server then you will not be contributing to the same pool of influence and instead it will be spread out across multiple realms — which won’t be any better of a situation than if people just remained in their own small guilds.
Looking for a larger guild where you can participate in guild missions but want to still feel like you are party of a family rather than just another number?
[ESP] has been here for nearly 8 years now, building long term friendships and creating a unique gaming experience. Aside from WvW, PvP, and Dungeons, we are taking a very active part in all of the new guild missions that have been made available.
Drop by our site today, or get in touch with a member of our leadership and we will be happy to chat with you about the possibility of you joining in on the adventure.

Thanks for the approbation Jado. It has been an honor fighting against Blackgate as well. You guys force us to be on our toes on the battlefield like few other servers can. Which, of course, makes it fun
We like to think that we have done pretty well on TC. Especially considering the fact that we have done it as a community and despite all our efforts to get more coverage, have almost never had the benefit of big transfers.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
We have definitely been enjoying the competition. While we have had a difficult time keeping up points-wise in t2 due mostly to some gaps in our coverage, it has been a learning experience and there have been some amazing prime-time battles.
Also, Blackgate/Kaineng/Tarnished Coast reset nights have been epic.
And I know the thread title is directed at players in EU/SEA/Oceanic time zones, but the reality is we’d love to have people join us from any area if you think TC would be a good fit.
This is true. While the title of the post addresses our specific needs for WvW our community is very receptive to anyone who wants to pitch in and become a part of the Coast (Toast).
Our guild made the move to Tarnished Coast back in October and without a doubt it has turned out to be the best move that we possibly could have made. The community has been welcoming, active, consistent, and in high-spirits regardless of what the enemy servers toss our way.
Something you will notice is that there is no one guild or particular group of guilds that run the show. It is always a server-wide effort: everyone having an equal voice and everyone finding some way to contribute. That has been the key to making Tarnished Coast what it s.
No need to transfer servers, just saying
There are tons of great WvW guilds on TC both large and small. You can find a lot of them represented over on tcgw2.com
We would still love to bring in another experienced WvW commander into the guild. In addition, we have recently freed up some roster space by clearing out some inactives. Which means that others have a chance to become a part of our diverse, sometimes odd, but always fun family.

This opportunity is still open. Also, we are still open to new members regardless of their time zone or background. Look us up at espguild.com or contact any of our members for more info.
As a side-note, Tarnished Coast is still open to the prospect of other guilds joining us to become a part of our community and help out the WvW cause. A number of the guilds on our server have even pitched in together to fund a ‘war chest’ which could be used to help another guild or guilds transfer their members over.
Contact one of the guild leaders or commanders on TC for more info.
Yes we do. Honestly, we have guilds/players that play WvW in all time zones. It is just that we tend to have noticeably less people during these hours than some of the other top NA servers. If you would like more detailed info please feel welcome to contact me directly or check out the community page at tcgw2.com and you will find plenty of people willing to assist you.
rawr sent you a pm
Hope you have a pleasant weekend
rawr
I sent you a mail in game for you to peruse at your convenience.
Miss-directions don’t help with what you’re trying to say.
What former members of the guild I represent now did is on them, and it has been long since dealt with. I had nothing bad to say about TC as a whole nor did I have anything bad to say about TSP as a whole.
I simply provided a video that shows members belonging to a guild inside the inner walls of a 100% Walled/Gated Garrison with no sign of contested swords on the map which proves being behind the walls by other means. Their Leader can do whatever he sees fit, it was a call for awareness toward those individuals to get them to stop what they were doing and nothing more.
Being a member of a guild that is unfairly judged for the actions of a couple I can understand how members of TSP might feel with this news. I would want to have the situation brought to light and resolved publicly to discourage anyone else who might consider attempting such actions again.
While this could have been handled in a much more professional way, those of us on TC do still appreciate being alerted to any potential issues and you can rest assured that they will be dealt with appropriately.
Currently we are looking for a commander that is reasonably competent and can help cover our ‘late’ time slots — roughly 10pm – 5am eastern time — especially during reset nights.
We do not consider ourselves a hardcore WvW guild but we do play to be competitive and take an active part in the strategies for our server.
Obviously, you must either be on Tarnished Coast or else willing to transfer to TC.
Please contact me directly if you are interested.
Now that all the transfer craziness has ended it is time to settle in to home and enjoy WvW the way that it was meant to be played.
ESP is currently still open to new applicants. Feel free to check us out and come along on one of the many fun events that we run.
Seriously, deal with it. WvW ratings where people can freely transfer between servers never meant much to begin with. Think of this more as the true ‘start’ to WvW.
Just one final word from me as well. Tarnished Coast has had a couple of guilds transfer over but it is just a few — hardly a ‘jump on the bandwagon’ sort of scenario. Our WvW coverage need during European prime time is still very large. You won’t be playing by yourself by any means — we have people on during these times, it just isn’t enough to cover all 4 maps. Nor will you be ‘PvDoor-ing’. The other NA servers in the top tiers all have players online during these hours and they will fight you extremely hard.
Feel free to check us out at tcgw2.com and chat with any of our members to see if you would like to join us in an extremely competitive WvW environment and in a server community that is extremely welcoming.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
The thread title is very tongue-in-cheek and people are just having some fun. A couple of CD guilds did transfer to TC and it is a happy reunion — we are excited about it. That being said, no one really believes in nor is pushing for a mass exodus from CD to the Coast. We hope to meet CD again at some point — you guys were always great opponents.
Everyone has to make up their own minds as to what is the best path for them to take at this point. The Coast is strong, and we are extremely welcoming to our new brothers and sisters and we wish the best for all other servers as well.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
Hey, sometimes your enemies can suddenly become your best friends
It is going to be crazy for many servers for a while. This final shuffle of guilds is more a result of people putting some careful thought into what server they want to settle down with. Before, even if people really didn’t want to transfer anywhere, they still knew that door was always open just in case something was to happen. Now, with the reality of pay-to-transfer setting in upon us, people are forced to reevaluate and decide where their ‘home’ is going to be.
Regardless of what happens in these final days before the end of free transfers, we at Tarnished Coast welcome our new friends and allies and look forward to doing battle with new opponents. It is going to be an exciting adventure.
Glad to have you become a part of our happy family.
No offense to Jade Quarry, it is a great server, but you guys are already stacked.
If you want to avoid all the queues and yet have a vibrant and active community then Tarnished Coast perfectly fits your needs and your guild perfectly fits our needs.
There is a reason why again and again TC comes up on the top of the list anytime anyone mentions the ‘best community in the game’. This is the server that does the best job at covering the full spectrum of GW2 and we do it without all the pomp and attitude that you find so many other places.
Feel free to come by tcgw2.com and/or our mumble server and talk to any of our members and you will see what I mean.
rawr That’s ‘come to Tarnished Coast and join in on the fun’ in Charr-speak.
Here is your chance to join a strong PvX guild with an 8-year history and play with us on what is perhaps the very best PvX server in the game. As always, feel welcome to drop by our forums or look for myself or any of our members in game and we will be happy to talk with you.

Greetings to you. Tarnished Coast is a wonderful destination for PvX guilds because our server truly does offer a little bit of everything — there is an extremely vibrant PvE population to work with, and we have a great WvW crew as well.
The community is also very welcoming to newcomers — especially those people who have a strong interest in working together with us as part of the team.
The only real drawback, as mentioned above, is that the server population currently is trending more towards full so it can be a trick (or a matter of luck) sometimes to get people in.
I have been on TC for about three months now and also fill in as a WvW commander on the server. You are welcome to contact me directly if you would like to ask any questions or go over any particulars regarding your guild and potentially making TC your new home. You will also meet a lot of friendly people over on tcgw2.com that would be willing to assist you.
