If anyone has been having any issues getting to TC or has any questions about the server please feel welcome to contact me or any other TC member that has posted in this thread.
This is a great PvE community, a stable, low stress place to play WvW and for GW2 it is our home. Here is your chance to make it yours also and be part of the legacy.

The vultures sure did see an opportunity in this thread.
Unless this is a troll thread then what we are offering a feasible solution to the problem. Piken and TC already share a common bond within the RP community and we were reaching out to them before this thread ever surfaced.
Tarnished Coast has a very active population, but aside from Friday nights we seldom have to worry about any queues. The server community is one of the most welcoming and friendliest that you will find in any of the top brackets.
You are welcome to contact me directly if you happen to have any specific questions about our player base.

There are never queues on Tarnished Coast (except for maybe EB sometimes) during European prime time hours and having a few Euro groups/players of similar mindset join us on the Coast would compliment our NA crew wonderfully.
And for those who may be worried about lag, the co-leader of our guild is European as well as about 25 or so members and none of them have ever reported having any issues.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
While many other servers experience the drama of the big rise and fall, the Coast is firm and steady.

Yaks Bend will always be near and dear to our hearts . . . until you start trebbing us from Red Keep again . . . .
TC is the unofficial server for awesomesauce so you are missing out if you are not here to get some of this.
What is this, like the 4th time that TL has changed servers?
CD and FA are both great servers. Those of us on TC spent a few weeks fighting them in t3 and we were able to do cool things like wvw fight club and the ill fated Yak Walk fistshake at FA, let that be a lesson to you Despite all our differences we had a fun time. Best of luck to our former opponents.
Folly for not coming to TC. No matter, we will fight any and everyone and have a kitten good time doing so.
Not to hijack your thread but Tarnished Coast, the NA RP server, could really use some European coverage in WvW so if you really don’t want them then we will gladly take them
TC is currently in tier 2 and we are having difficulty keeping up with SoR.

The RP-community is extremely active although they keep a much lower profile than what you might expect. The server has a healthy mix of players from many different backgrounds and interests, making us perhaps the most diverse server in the game. Of course, this is a WvW recruitment thread so our primary focus has been on finding players to fill the gaps in our European/Asian/Oceanic coverage but in all honesty, anyone who chooses to make TC their home, regardless of where you are from, will be made to feel very welcome.
The months ahead are going to be busy for ESP. We have our upcoming Valentine’s Day ESP-Harmony event. Then we will get to work on Platypusaplaooza III — one of our yearly celebrations. All the while we continue to focus on working with new players, playing high end dungeon content and being a force to reckon with in WvW.
Free transfers will end come Jan 28th. Until then, you still have a chance to join one of the most competitive WvW servers with the best, most stable, and most welcoming community that you will find anywhere.
Tarnished Coast is typically open for transfers right during our times of greatest need listed in the title of this post, so that makes it convenient for people.
If you are tired of getting yelled at by commanders/players and would prefer to work with a well-organized community that has proven themselves to be competitive but prefers crumpets and tea instead of player rage for breakfast then I encourage you to give us a try.
Tarnished Coast is in great need of more Oceanic and Asian players for World vs World. For anyone who is interested in coming to TC but afraid they might not have people to play with, ESP is a large, international guild with around the clock coverage and we welcome players of all play styles and nationalities. We welcome you to come check us out and take a chance at becoming a part of our guild as well as a part of the wonderful server community on TC.

I already made a similar post:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/T2-NA-Tarnished-Coast-4AM-12PM-CST-Needed
This thread is suggesting that all players join TC when in reality we need people willing to cover a coverage gaps.
Honestly, we need and will happily welcome people from all time zones. It is fairly common knowledge that there is a down-trend in WvW that is hurting all servers in all tiers right now. Our greatest need may be Oceanic and European prime time but the thing about TC s that we don’t just want to sell ourselves as ‘join us and add to our numbers’, but rather ‘we have something really cool and fun and unique going on here on this server and we are here for the long haul.’
In other words, Tarnished Coast is sort of the alternative to the bandwaggon servers. We will not tolerate anyone who comes along just to grief or exploit. We gladly welcome those players who want to cooperate and communicate.
Just a note that Tarnished Coast is once again open for new transfers. We welcome current residents of TC as well as people who are curious about joining the best server community in Guild Wars 2.
We continue to slowly expand our footprint in the game and host a wide variety of events ranging from WvW to Dungeons, to RP. Please feel welcome to look me up at any time if you have any questions about the server or our guild.
Happy New Year everyone,

I noticed just today that all servers (including Tarnished Coast) seem to be open for transfer, which leads me to believe that they are playing around with the server caps again.
Anyone who has been wanting to come hop on the Tarnished Coast party barge should probably look at doing so now while you have a chance.
Our community welcomes any and everyone but as before, we still very much need to close some big gaps in our Oceanic and European prime time coverage.
Do you have ANY proof of these allegations? Or are you just tell us what you’ve heard? DEVS does not hack, exploit or anything of the like. It is sad that our elite guild is capable of killing groups that far out number us, only to later be called hackers.
I’m sure it is just pure coincidence that every server your guild has ever been on seems to know of your guild’s habits and doesn’t like you.
Coast Toast We are enjoying t2 much more than we expected. Thank you BG and SoR for the excellent fights, and thank you to all my fellow Toasties for being who you are and making this community the best ever.
Win or lose, there is a lot of excitement and pride amongst the players on Tarnished Coast.
How well we are doing also says a lot about how good Crystal Desert, Fort Aspenwood, and Yaks Bend are, since those three servers all gave us tough fights throughout the previous few weeks in t3.
Looking forward to this matchup. Even if we do find ourselves overpowered in this tier it will be a learning process for us and a necessary step in our continued progression.
The TC community is very tenacious and will not back away from a fight.
Happy Wintersday to everyone. We will be hosting our own holiday party this month on Saturday, December 22nd and we are still accepting new applicants who wish to join in on the fun with us in [ESP].
Currently Tarnished Coast appears to be open for transfers so we welcome anyone to come check us out no matter where you may currently be situated in the Guild Wars universe.

So it a appears that servers are currently open for transfer. Anyone who has been wanting to try out Tarnished Coast, we still welcome WvW players of all varieties would would like to become a part of a team where there is minimal drama and we fight for the love of the game. This is a community that never gives up no matter the odds and sticks together through every victory or loss.
Coverage is still pretty much the same as what has been mentioned before; we have a very large gap in our ‘off-NA’ time slots. Interested parties are welcome to contact me or any TC commander if you have questions.

Sup guise. Just giving you a heads up, I’m hosting a pve event where we do nothing but pve on ebg (the pvp map). I hope you guys don’t try to pvp us because it’s a pve event and there’s going to be a lot of pve so you know, if you want in just come to ebg (the pvp map) and pve ok thanks!
Sounds like fun. I’ll be there. And then afterwards we can pvp you off the map again.
A few very vocal and malignant players from FA are basically setting the course for your entire server in t3.
As gamers, we have the ability to sometimes be creative and do the unexpected. Therefore it is disappointing when a fellow community finds themselves unable to keep up and instead resorts to the base and ordinary. Feel free to continue posting excuses as to why your server is not keeping up in this tier, but it very well may just come down to the fact that you have painted such a negative picture of yourselves that people will be more than happy to see you go back down again.

So FA . . . I see that CD has wiped you off the face of Eternal Battlegrounds. How is that supposed alliance working out for you?
You sound bitter.
Are you one of those people who fail to realize that alliances like that are precisely what arena.net intended? And that without them the brackets run the risk of becoming hopelessly imbalanced and broken?
The only way things will be fresh and interesting is if the two smaller servers combine against TC, because TC has a huge population advantage. Presumably everyone, TC included want’s a fresh and interesting matchup. Even if they do lose a match, TC isn’t going to get kicked down to tier 4. It would take weeks of losses for that to happen – by which point a new alliance would have been formed against the new lead server.
It’s all a nice beautiful self regulation self balancing system – the two weaker servers work against the stronger server so the outcome is always in doubt.
I’m both amazed and aghast that people think this is unintended or somehow foul play.
And as in any alliance, both sides have to be willing to be the bigger man. Random PUGs will always do something that looks like a deliberate provocation. Just ignore it.
You don’t even need formal coordination or synchronization or anything. Just don’t attack something of CD’s if there are things of TC’s you can still take. Defend your own BL, defend your turf in EB, and attack TC’s BL. How can this plan possibly go wrong? What you don’t do, is if CD steps on your toes in TC’s BL, ,is go to CD’s BL and kick stuff over.
Nice post, although I stopped reading after ‘you sound bitter’.
So FA . . . I see that CD has wiped you off the face of Eternal Battlegrounds. How is that supposed alliance working out for you?
I’ll put in a second for Tarnished Coast. TC is one of the best communities in the game without all the attitude that you find on some other servers. It’s like the ‘big little server’ — a large-ish population but lots of familiarity and interaction among the players.
Throughout the middle of the week queues are basically non-existent on the enemy borderland maps, and it actually isn’t all that uncommon for us to see ‘outmanned’ on one of the two. We do a good job of moving around the forces that we have but there is certainly plenty more room for others to join in.
At this time we are still accepting new members, with a special emphasis on players from outside NA-peak time zones and new transers to Tarnishd Coast.
Some great fights on Yaks BL tonight. We didn’t have the numbers to keep up with you all night long, but it was fun while it lasted.
I think that any of the current t3 servers – TC/FA/YB – would be happy to have you. In my mind, it is the best place for competition before you get to the more ‘cutthroat’ tiers of t2 and t1. Of the three, Yak’s Bend probably needs the extra coverage the most.
Tarnished Coast still needs off-peak support (outside of NA hours), but I don’t think the gaps there will hurt us all that much unless we end up somehow making a push into t2.
TC – 164,336 – 300ppt
YB – 121,638 – 185ppt
FA – 119,326 – 210ppt
Yaks always hitting us with trebs from red keep when we own SM! shakes fist
There are a few guilds from FA that are really fun to play against, [ULTD] being the most notable to come to my mind. We learn more from losses and you guys bring the pain.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
Amongst the top 10 servers this is the friendliest WvW crew that you could hope to find, and with some extra coverage we can spread the awesomeness even further . . that’s right, spread the awesomeness.
This is where some other servers go awry. They worry simply about coverage, whereas we are interested in spreading the awesomeness.
Anyone who alt+f4’s automatically gets finished off Mortal Combat style. And their corpse drops a few sparklers or something.
Babality!
Problem solved
At this moment we are still accepting new applicants. If you are looking for an active and stable guild with a long history, a strong reputation, and a wide range of events that you can take part in, then I welcome you to come check us out.

It’s kind of a running joke now in all the tiers of Wuv Wuv. Any time a server is not winning the match — oh, well that means the other two are teaming up against us.
Good job hanging in there and being strong today TC. Keep it up.
More tuna please.
I probably shouldn’t say anything, but I have to jump in and add that it is extremely bad form to name and pick apart the commanders on your server on a public forum.
The people who are staying on Henge have a tough task ahead of them and they certainly don’t need you nor anyone else making matters worse. I’m sure they are trying and anyone who has any issues with how they do things should take it up with them in a more discreet manner.
(edited by Karuna.1357)
Just adding my +1 to this. Tarnished Coast has one of the best player communities in the game, and you get to avoid a lot of the excess baggage that other upper-tier servers seem to have.
It would be great to see TC get the extra little bit of coverage it needs to where the server can start to hold its own with just about anyone.
Some former HoD players are now on Tarnished Coast. No need to go into all the details as far as why we transferred. It was time to move on, and we have a nice home here and a great community to work with.
Personally, I find the jumping puzzle combat to be a fun challenge. It is a WvW zone after all and siege is legal, so if people want to use that to disadvantage players from the other servers then that is their business — just go out and cap their forts or something while they are down below feeling like they are king/queen of the puzzle.
Despite all the bickering in this thread, I have actually witnessed quite a bit of amnesty taking place amongst all three servers these past few days. I’m not complaining, it is just . . . different.
TC trolls, please don’t feed the CD and Yaks trolls. We are better than that.
Message of the day should be:
- displayed when logging in (Like in Guild Wars 1)
- Able to edit without having to redo everything (Like in Guild Wars 1)
Optional:
- Increase in amount of text that can be typed
Yes, yes, and yes again. In my guild I like to keep our web site and ventrilo info in the message of the day so that members always have it there as an easy reference as well as announcements about whatever events we have coming up. The ‘Edit’ button is misleading because you can’t actually edit anything, you are forced to retype an entire message and that is not convenient at all.
+1 Yes please. This is a fairly critical feature that is needed for running a guild.
Home World: Tarnished Coast
Guild Name: Everlasting Sacred Path
Guild Website: http://www.espguild.com
In-Game Contact: Karuna.1357 or Danni.4756
Focus: A little bit of everything you could imagine
Quick Notes: Active since 2005, 18+ adult guild with a close-knit, fun member base.
Active Since 2005 — International Player Base -- A True PvX Guild — 18+ Age Requirement -- Tarnished Coast Influence
About Us:
ESP is a guild which was formed in Guild Wars over seven years ago and ever since our inception we have remained steadily active. After racking up numerous awards and accomplishments, including ‘Guild of the Week’ as recognized by Arenanet on Nov 28th, 2006, we now concentrate upon Guild Wars 2 with full force to continue our legacy.
ESP is a social guild — meaning that our primary focus is upon the people who make up our guild and the sense of community that we all share in together. Together we seek to explore every angle and all aspects of the game, always with the aim of having a kitten good time in the process. To help facilitate our high level of activity and encourage interaction within our guild we organize many of our own events and highly encourage people to make use of our guild forums and our ventrilo server. As a member of this guild you are part of a team that bands together, sticks together, and offers everyone an equal voice
In Guild Wars 2 our events range from weekly dungeon groups, sPvP teams, WvW raids, and a weekly RP event, as well as a number of unique yearly events and tournaments which we devise ourselves.
To summarize: we are one of the longest-standing guilds in the game, we are here to stay, we are here to have fun, and we don’t take our success too seriously (because we are also here for your crumpets, pants, vodka, and platypi).
Member Requirements:
We are an 18+ Guild. Aside from that, what we look for when we review prospective new members are people who are friendly, easy-going, and who have a strong willingness to interact with us and take part in guild activities. We would rather have someone who will run around laughing and having a great time win or lose rather than someone who is a professional at the game and plays 40-hours per week (not to say that some of us aren’t game addicts). We believe that our easy-going humor along with just the right amount of organization are the keys to our longevity.
Our player base is international; we have members from every continent (except for Antarctica), so people from everywhere in the world are encouraged to come find a new home with us —a home where you can find great people to play with no matter what time zone you live in.
Joining:
If you are interested in joining ESP then you are encouraged to review our charter on our web site at http://www.espguild.com and then submit a post telling us a little bit about yourself and the best way for us to contact you (note that you will need to register before being able to view all content). You are also welcome to contact us directly in game (look for Karuna or Danni in Guild Wars 2) and we will be happy to answer whatever questions you may have.
Please understand that we are careful about who we allow into the guild and we will likely want to get to know you a little bit before actually issuing an invite — both for your benefit, to help ensure that our guild is truly fit for your needs, and also for ours to make sure that all of the new members that we bring mingle well with our current group.
I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read this post and I look forward to seeing you all in-game!
